Advanced Novice is a podcast discussing current, video game topics with differing perspectives from a person with an advanced knowledge of video games (Spencer) and a person who enjoys video games as a relative newcomer (Nicole). Although nothing is out of discusion. We'll talk board games, tech talk, conventions, and building home decor with a wall of Dreamcasts.

We spend way to much time talking about mobile games with whales in them. Maybe we can balance that out with talks about GDC, VR, Five Nights at Freddy's, and games appearing at PAX East. [Insert your best whale noise here]
We we try a new form of casting where we say what comes to our heads in terms of gaming and maybe grilled cheese like Brianna Wu, The Order 1886, season passes, and taco burgers. Try to stay on point.

Nintendo is still going outside the lines for E3. Kevin Spacey is a dream boat and in the new Call of Duty. Dark Souls 2 has Spencer by the throat. Nicole will never beat Bioshock.

Nintendo is getting rid of it's online services but its not for what you think. Nicole finds out about Spencer's competitive side over Hearthstone and we find out that hitting buttons makes you win things.
