Westwood One's Veterans Day Series: Recent Episodes

Westwood One

A series of 11 reports, each 1:00 minute long, about the men and women who make up the U. S. veteran population. Including perspectives from national leaders and veterans of widely varying ages, the pieces will look into how veterans view their service and the day set aside to honor it. Reports will examine health, education and readjustment issues impacting veterans - and provide listeners ways they can show concern for those who've worn their nation's uniform - by making Veterans Day not just an occasion to offer former military people a "thanks for your service," but a day of service to those who've served. The series is reported on and produced by Westwood One News national security correspondent Chas Henry. More about Chas at http://www.chashenry.com
