This show will explore the lives of entertainers (Athletes, Musicians, Artists, and Celebrities) when they are not performing on their respective stages. These entertainers will share with you their hobbies, passions, charities, professional projects, and side businesses. Our focus on being the first show that hosts artists from all sectors of the entertainment industry in one show from football players with musicians, to hockey players with directors to name a few. We will address various topics that interest not just the avid sports fan but fans of human stories. We will discuss topics that uncover life lessons, secrets, and the “best practices” that led our guests down their paths of success. Lastly, we will discuss topics that address concerns that you may have about your favorite athletes, sports, artists, and entertainment medians.
This first show will feature Tempe High School Head Football Tim McBurney. Tim has been a high school football coach and teacher for over 30 years in the city of Tempe. He’s won one state championship, numerous playoff games, and mentor 100s of High School student-athletes including myself. We will be discussing his background, teaching and coaching experience, and the current state of HS football in the state of Arizona. We will also be covering topics about youth football, the state of mind of the high school athlete in the new facebook era, and the various concerns of parenting student athletes in this environment. It is my intent to weave in my background, “the good old days”, and some of the life lessons that Ex-Coach Mac, youth football, and growing up in Arizona has taught me. We will also touch on high school recruiting and various aspects of college recruiting. I will close the show with thank yous to the various influential coaches, teammates, friends and family.
