Since the focus is on joy and rejoicing, how does that work when you are called to endure suffering? Bearing the name of God is a weighty thing. We should not take it lightly. The question posed by Pastor Seekins is are we bearing the name of Christ well?

Jeremiah talks about the Joy of bearing the name of Christ.
We are told that Jesus birth was good news of great joy for all people, but why? We are told that all the promises of God are yes and amen in Jesus. So when we hear the good news of great joy for all people we are to think back to good news prophesied in the old testament. Isaiah 11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall arise to rule over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust, and his rest shall be glorious.
