A Dickinson College Athletics Podcast meant to connect Dickinson Athletics to the larger community. The Podcast is run by Sam St. Jean, Sam Glavin, and Dom Fusco.
In this episode Sam and Sammy reminisce a bit with Dom as this was his last episode. They welcome on Dickinson Director of Athletic Communications David Adamovage. They then run through a quick top three of there top study break ideas for exam week.
The guys give a recap of what we missed over the Thanksgiving break before diving into a much awaited interview with Isabel Cardi! Finally Dom, Sam, and Sammy get something off their chest as they complain about a few things that come with the Thanksgiving holiday.
In this episode Dom reflects on his final football game in red, Sammy gives a cross country run dow and Sam battles a cold (he tries to hide it). They then bring on Men's lacrosse head coach Dave Webster for a long overdue interview. The guys, after a long struggle trying plan the third segment, end up giving their top 3 cartoons of all time before the cold weather fully sets in.
In this episode the guys talk about the change of the season. With fall coming to a close winter sports pick up the guys talk about Field Hockey and Basketball primarily. Then Sammy does an interview with new Woman's basketball coach Aby Diop. The guys then wrap up with their top 3 most physically gifted athletes of all time.
The guys give a brief rundown for the end of the fall regular season before welcoming on Jack Tierney from Dickinson Men's Basketball. They wrap up with a list of their favorite things about fall.
In this episode the guys return from Fall pause and run through a tough week in Dickinson Athletics. Hannah Spiri then joins the show to talk about the playoff bound field hockey team. Finally Dom, Sam, and Sammy finish with their top 3 best all-time MLB postseason players.
The guys start by catching up with Dickinson athletics after a week off. They then welcome volleyball senior Jenna Schumann to teach a bit about volleyball, explain her path to Dickinson, and about the program as a whole. Sam, Sammy, and Dom finish of by ranking the current 3 most influential men in sports in their opinion.
In this episode the guys give a rundown of recent games on Dickinson's campus before getting to talk with women's soccer captain Charlotte Glancey. After a great conversation with her the guys rank their top college rivalries.
In this episode Sam Glavin was unable to make it, so Dom and Sammy jumped right into an interview with Dickinson football broadcaster Vince Champion to talk about how he found Dickinson. They also discuss his life outside of broadcasting and how his work in sports and broadcasting have directly translated. Sammy and Dom wrap up by doing a run down of Dickinson's recent and upcoming athletic contests.
In the first full episode of the season the guys begin by recapping the week of Dickinson Athletics. They then look head before welcoming on Dickinson and RDSN alum Paul McGovern. After talking to him about his path after Dickinson and how he was influenced by the school, Sam, Dom and Sam give their top 3 things they missed about Dickinson.
We are back with Sam St. Jean, Dom Fusco, and Sam Glavin as they give you a run down of what the year holds. They all recap their summers before jumping into the recent Dickinson athletics contests. They round out their show with a brief look at the NFL!
This is our first year finale and we team up with the Ladies in Red to recap our semesters.
The guys look at the draft and make their top 10 picks. They turn to the final segment to make a few bold predictions for the first round as well. They also include an interview with Austin Morgan, a Dickinson baseball alum turned coach. They catch up with him and talk to him about his journey since Dickinson.
In this episode the guys start out by talking a little soccer with the league that lasted less time than the XFL. They then welcome on 100 goal scorer Erika Bloes to talk about the women's lacrosse season and her career hopes. The guys wrap up with a very similar final segment to last week's Coach who could play now bit.
In this episode the guys break down their top 5 quarterbacks leading into the draft. They then get the privilege of have Michelle Fisher from the admissions department on to talk about her role, the role of admissions in recruiting and being a tour guide. Finally the guys finish with a fun Dickinson Athletics debate that you just cannot miss!
In this episode we give a brief rundown in an exciting weekend of Red Devil Sports before jumping into an interview with an old friend. Christian Payne joins us as we talk about his time at Dickinson and further his time removed from Carlisle. We wrap up then by complaining about our brackets and putting false hope into Michigan and Arkansas.
We quickly recap the weekend of Dickinson sports before we jump into an interview with Brendan Pell. He breaks down their double header sweep and gives us a look ahead to John's Hopkins. We finish by revealing just how bad our brackets are and Sammy and Dom revel what team they follow the rest of the way (Hint: Not a 1 seed).

In this episode we start out with a bit of fun as Steve Harvey, aka Dom Fusco, moderates a mock all star draft Between Sam and Sammy. Sammy claims he wins by 100, while Sam loves his bench,. Give us your thoughts! We then interview Matt Donnelly from Dickinson Men's Lacrosse and catch up about the team, where the season stands and what makes Dickinson Lacrosse special. Lastly we each rank our top 5 most electric college basketball players of all time.
This episode is dedicated to Black History Month as we spend the first segment talking about recent issues in the world of sports, both at Dickinson and on the professional level. We then interview Student body president Philip Butler and talk about who he looks up to as well as changes he would to see on campus and across our country. The list this week is top 5 most influential athletes of color.
In the opening segment we jump in to a little NFL as our guest is a fan of the Tampa Bay Bucs. That is Austin Seabolt, the former president of RDSN. We catch up with him and reflect on his time at Dickinson. Then we rank the GOATS. Who is the greatest of athlete of all time? We each have our lists and we did not agree at number 1.
This episode was a fun one. The first segment we catch up on baseball and the recent moves in free agency (recorded before Bauer signing). The second segment was an interview with Dickinson Alum and NBC Connecticut anchor Kevin Nathan. We got some great stories as well as some guidance about the field. Finally we finish with some snow day fun as we rank our top 5 snow day activities.
We talk hockey. Yes. We actually talked about hockey in your first segment. We then did an interview with Claudia Maira from Dickinson Women's Basketball. Lastly we did a fun list where we make our ideal dinner party. 5 guest and an honorable mention. Alive or dead. From any sport. Dom wants to know: Who had the best dinner party?
In this episode we dove into the Conference championship games before getting to an interview with Kristen Acocella. A member of RDSN, Softball and on the new Dickinson podcast Lady's in Red, she gave us a bit of insight into all of those. Lastly, we rank our top 5 ballpark foods.
In our first episode of the new year we recap what has happened in the NBA, focusing on James Harden. We then interview Justin Farrell, the overseer of RDSN and an Assistant AD. We ask him about everything to do with RDSN and what led him back to campus after attending Dickinson as a student. Lastly we rank our top 5 MVP candidates in the NBA as Sam and Sam try to not be biased.
In the last episode of the semester we give a recap of our favorite moments from the past few months. We then interview Dickinson squash coach Chris Fernandez and learn more about him as well as his sport. Lastly we list our favorite moments, traditions and gifts from the holiday season.
This episode features our college football playoff predictions and a fun list about winter break. The interview is with Professor Mastrangelo from the Classics department at Dickinson. We talk about exam week, teaching athletes and over coming obstacles.
In this episode we focus on the upcoming NBA free agency and draft in the first segment. We do put an emphasis on the 76ers and the Celtics. The interview is with Cross Country and Long distance coach Don Nichter. The unofficial winningest coach in Dickinson history joined us for a great conversation. Finally we rank our biggest draft busts in NBA history.
In this episode we mix it up and start by predicting the NFL awards half way through the year. Then we go on to interview the recently appointed head coach of swimming Coach McArdle. Afterwards we have fun by listing our top 5 least favorite broadcasters, announcers and personalities.
In this episode we run through the most recent week in sports as usual. We then get into a great conversation with the President of the Athletes of Color Coalition at Dickinson. We learn a great deal from him and then get Bryce to participate in or top 5. Dom wanted it and we did it. The top 5 caf meals may be one of our best top 5's yet!
We have another great guest. Matt Quattrone follows his dad, Joel Quattrone, our most recent guest as we talk to him about designing workout programs, diet and coaching football. We go over our usual rundown in the beginning and have our rankings of the top 5 best world series winning teams.
In this episode we have special guest Joel Quattrone who may bleed red better than any other person in Carlisle. We talk with him after our usual rundown followed by a fun top 5 where we talk about our favorite come out of nowhere athletes.
Our guest this week is Blue Mountain Battalion member Elaina Clancy. She also does Cross Country and we talk to her about how she balances those two very different commitments. The first segment is the usual dive into recent sports and in the final segment we rank our top 5 NBA players of all time. Where does Lebron's latest title put him?
Sammy could not be with us due to a power outage so Dom and Sam charged ahead. The first segment was the usual week in sports followed by a great interview with new Dickinson Men's Soccer Coach Jorge Chapoy. The last segment was the top 5 most clutch athletes of all time as Sam and Sammy seemed on the same page while Dom came in with another surprise pick this week!
In this episode we do our normal rundown of the week in sports. Following that we go into an interview with Dickinson's Head Athletic Trainer Janelle Nolt. She explains the profession and exactly what studying in that field can lead to. After that Sam, Dom and Sammy rank their top 5 restaurants in Carlisle.

We had an incredible interview with Jimmy Martelli, Dickinson alum and VCU head of basketball operations, where we talk about both Dickinson and where is at now. We wrap up with Sammy's MVPs and Cy Youngs, Sam's top 5 pitchers, and what might be Dom's most impressive moment yet.
In this weeks episode we dive into a recap of the most recent week of sports. This includes a bit from the NBA bubble, college and NFL football, and more. We then continued on with an interview of Alan Seretti who is the head coach of the Dickinson Men's Basketball team. The episode concludes with Sam's top 5, Dom's moment of the week, and Sammy's hot take about the NBA Conference Finals.
We are back for another exciting episode as we look into an opening weekend of college football as well as preview the NFL season. We then interview Phoebe Prettman who is a RDSN member, Field Hockey player, among other commitments. She gives us insight into the eyes of a fall athlete with their season having at least been postponed. She goes on to give us some inspiration and advice. We wrap up by running through Sam's top 5, Dom's moment of the week and Sammy's Hot Take concerning the NFL season.
In our first full episode of content we dive into Racial in Justice in relation to the sports world during the first segment. We follow that up by bringing on Dickinson Grad and Umass pitcher Tommy Koide to talk about his transition and experience during Covid-19. We finish by reflecting on the interview and then do three new fun segments. Sam gives us his top 5 QBs currently in the NFL. Dom gives us a weird thing from the sports world from the last week. Sammy then concludes the show with a Hot Take about the NBA playoffs.
