The DC Fandome Event ascended upon us in all its glory. Lots on announcements but surprisingly little footage to be seen. We discuss Blue Beetle, Cat Woman Hunted, Harley Quinn Season 3, the J.J. A Smallville 20th Anniversary tribute, Wonder Woman 3 is announced. Then we got our first look at Black Adam starring Pierce Brosnan, Dwayne Johnson, Sara Shahi. Aquaman 2 and The Lost Kingdom see the return of Jason Momoa, Nicole Kidman, Amber Heard, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Patrick Wilson. James Gunn helms the Peacemaker series on HBO Max starring John Cena with a bald eagle, Danielle Brooks, Steve Agee, and Christopher Heyerdahl. A new animated Aquaman: King of Atlantis mini series comes to HBO Max starring Cooper Andrews, Gillian Jacobs, Thomas Lennon, Dana Snyder. The Flash in speedster fashion gives us a super quick teaser starting Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton, Sasha Calle, Ben Affleck, Kiersey Clemons and Temuera Morrison. Director David Sandberg brings some great behind the scenes of Shazam 2 Fury of the Gods starring Zachary Levi, Helen Mirren, Lucy Liu, Adam Brody, Jack Dylan Grazer, Rachel Zegler, Grace Fulton, Ross Butler, Marta Milans. Then finally after 4 hours of the DC extravaganza we got the first full trailer for The Batman starring Robert Pattinson, Paul Dano, Jeffery Wright, Zoe Kravitz, Andy Serkis, directed by Matt Reeves.

The future of theatrical releases is bright at Cinema Con 2021. Day 1, Sony Pictures released the Spiderman: No Way Home trailer and screened Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Day 2, MGM hyped us up with an extended look for No Time To Die (as if we could get hyped any more). Warner Bros brought a Matrix: Resurrections title and trailers, also lots of The Batman footage. Day 3, Neon revealed Kristin Steward's Spencer trailer, Universal showed off Jurassic World: Dominion, Halloween Kills, and Downton Abbey: A New Era. Day 4, Paramount revealed behind the scenes of Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible 7 and Top Gun: Maverick. We also gave our reactions to No Way Home, Spencer, The King's Man (red band trailer) plus some recommendations for HBO Max's The Prince and the documentary on Netflix, Bob Ross: Happy Accidents, Betrayal and Greed.
