Mark 16:1-8. When a crucified Man comes out of the tomb, nothing can ever be the same again. Ever. A new day has dawned. A new reality has been established. An old system has been up-ended.
2 Chronicles 36, 2 Kings 21, 1 Kings 11, 1 Samuel 8. The people of God didn't want the Lord to be King over them. Instead, they chose human kings who led them into idolatry, injustice and exile. Tonight we trace this development in the Story of Scripture.
Exodus 19:1-8; 1 Peter 2:9-12. We begin looking into the story of Israel. Israel's calling/commission and ours.
Romans 1. Tonight we fast-forward to explore further the consequences of Genesis 3 for all of mankind.
