I started creating music on my old PC back in 2002 using DAWs such as Buzz, Fl Studio and Reason. As my artist name suggest I mostly compose tunes that have an ambient edge. My main passion is creating soundscapes, be they soft drifting drones/piano pieces/heavily synth driven, weirdly abstract and classical and orchestral pieces. I mainly compose using apps on my IPad but also make use of whatever instruments I have lying around such as my Pocket Operators, Modal Craftsynth, my favourite is an Early Learning Centre keyboard.
In the past my tracks have been played in BBC Radio Oxford and BBC 6 Music. Over the years I have collaborated with people from all over the world. Please message me if you would like to collaborate 😀

A short track played on my Casio VL-Tone VL-1 Electronic Keyboard Synthesiser and recorded into a Tascam DR005XP.
A new Ghost Hackers track. This was created in AUM using the Thor synth (by Reason), Hilda synth and Axon3 (beat/drum creator) using Moog MF-1045 (delay) , EOS 2 (reverb) and Revolv (convolution reverb) and Grand Finale (Limiter/Compresser).
The first track of 2026. The track was created in Korg Gadget using gadgets such as Recife (retro-futurist drum gadget), Miami (Monophonic Wobble Synthesizer) and Stockhom (Reason developed Rex file player).

This is from the soundtrack to the 1994 film by director Sam Norton. The film is set on a space station on the edge of the solar system orbiting Pluto and suddenly all communication is lost with the home world.
A tune recorded in WaveMapper. This is from the soundtrack to the 1988 film by Japanese director Akari Ito. The film explores the how a young boy called Hinta as he dreams of a world of mystic castles, ravens and ghosts in dunes.
A synth jam in Synth One J6 - the first in a new set of Themes From Forgotten Films. This is part of the Sountrack for the 2014 film Tamsus Kodas by Lithunanian director Kajus Kalvis. The film explores the day in the life of hacker Danielius Banis who gets dangerously involved in the Vilnius underworld.

This track influenced by a recent visit to the National Museum of Computng at Bletchley Park here in the UK. The track was crated in AUM and used aps such as Stria and ID700 with MIDI notes coming from Harmony Bloom and effect from Bleass Motion EQ, Bleass Delay and Otherdesertcities. A few weeks ago my music friend Soundpainter (aka Andrew Janik) got in touch about using one of my tracks from my Sound Installations album as he thought that it would work well with the track that he was producing. This is the result. It has been great fun going back and forth with Andrew exchaning ideas.
The second of the Radiophonia tracks. This track was composed in AUM using apps such as Hida (going through a Rymdigae effect) and Hillman (going through a Nembrini Delay effect). Notes/MIDI came from Chordjam with additional sounds coming from Fluss Recorder (going via a Speaker effect), All mastered in Grand Finale.
This is track was created on my Roland MC307, which I puchased off eBay last year. I finally worked out how to record from it properly. It was great fun!

This is the first of series of soundtracks that are themes to made up titles for radio plays. The melody for this track was made in Fugue Machine. There are two instances of the Hillman synth app panned left and right. Each of these are going through an effect called Speaker. Grand Finale is being used for mastering. The title was inspired by a recent visit to London as I walked through a small City of London burial ground and suddenly found that the one of many people who were buried there was William Blake (and indeed John Bunyan).

I have done a few collaborations with Roland now and it is always a pleasure to work with him.This track contains a number of wonderful samples that Roland sent me earlier in the year. This track was played in Free Christiania. It is based on a track that I never got round to completing. It was recorded in AUM and used the ID700 synth and Axon02. Effects used were Lo-Fi-Af and Rymdigare.
This track was played in the Trinitatis Kirke in Copenhagen. At the time there was a wonderful organ recital in progress, so I felt compelled to create this track. It was played on the Moog Model 15 app. Effects from Eventide were added later on.

This track contains a number of wonderful samples that Roland sent me. These have been manipulated with an app called SpaceCraft and with effects added from a Nembrini delay. Radio sounds have come from an app called WebSDR.

This track is a re-work of the Project Adzan 1. It was mixed in the AUM app on my iPad and used the excellent apps Bleass Slow Machine, WebSDR, Magic Dice, auDSPr and Barricade.
This track used a Behringer Pro-1 synth (kindly on-loan from a friend), and played using the arpeigiator on my Arturia Keystep. It was mixed via a Behringer Xenyx 502 and Behringer UCA202 into Audacity (with some additions of numerous effects and stuff).
The original idea for this track came when I took delivery of a new toy a EMF v1.2 which is a handheld device that lets you listen to electromagnetic fields. I used this to record (using an old Olympus dicataphone) the sounds coming from my Android phone and with the EMF connected up to my Behringer Neutron synth to filter the sounds. This sample was then loaded up into the AU app on my iPad and then manipulated with the effects Bleass Slow Machine and Rymdigare.
Recorded in AUM using apps WebDSR (which lets you play online radio stations across various wavelengths), Stria (a synth), Beatcutter (creates lots of crazy glitch sounds). Effects came from Dubstation 2, Bleass Slow Machine and Barricade (a limiter/compressor).
Back in 2016 I released my Music For Schools album. I thought that I would start work on volume 2.
As with the first volume these tracks will try and get some of the feel of the soundtracks from the schools TV programmes that I grew up with in the 70s and 80s.
This track is all mixed in AUM and makes use of the apps Fundamental, auGENx, ID700, Fugue Machine and Rozeta LFO. Effects came from Eventide Shimmerverb.

This is another piece for the Conjunctions series of tracks. I recorded some sounds from my Moog Theremini onto the Koala Sampler app on my phone which I used to mash up sounds which were then uploaded into the Auria app on my iPad for further tweaks.

The final Radioland track, This has some sounds that were created on my Behringer Neutron synth which were then managled with various Bleass effects on my iPad in AUM with additional tones from the ID700 app.

The fifth track in The Toy Box seires of songs (started a couple of years ago and pretty much a work in progress). This piece was composed and mixed in Notion. The sounds you are hearing are meant to be Oboes, Cellos, Double Bass, Viola and a drum! It is the first track I have composed like this for well over a year..I might be more then rusty...:)

Created by recording three notes (and tweaking the cutoff and resonance knobs) from my Stylophone Gen X1 (all done as separate takes as the Stylophone is monophonic) into Audacity. These were then loaded as clips into FL Studio for mixing and effects. I know a very dry explanation but I had great fun doing this :)
