Episode 44 of Season 2 is another 'personal hero' episode and one we think you'll really enjoy! One of Kelly's personal heroes is actor Jim Caveziel, not just for his wonderful acting in films like FREQUENCY and THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST, but also for his principled stand against abortion and his work in promoting the horror of child sex trafficking in his upcoming movie, SOUND OF FREEDOM, opening in January 2022.

In our first jam, we have a lighthearted talk about Susan's weekend in Kansas City, to see her first live NFL game (Packers vs. the Chiefs) and tour Arrowhead Stadium. Learn backstage stuff you never knew about what's going on at Arrowhead!!

Here's the link to the video Kelly mentions about Jack Hibbs, California pastor who comes to the border and discusses what's happening with drug trafficking--by kids!--and how they're being victimized: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9JsUz12qIE&ab_channel=CornerstoneChapel-Leesburg%2CVA

Today's episode is a reflection on the tragic Alec Baldwin shooting, with some ironic commentary from Susan about a novel she read years ago that could have been ripped from the headlines! Life imitates art, who knew?

Our second jam is a discussion about Nanowrimo, the insane November marathon to write 50,000 words of an original novel in a single 30-day month. This is one of the best ways to kick-start your own creativity, so if you've ever wanted to write a novel, this is a great time to start! Sign up for free at www.nanowrimo.org and get started! You'll truly be glad you did!

We also discuss character development and the value of creating a character you really can't stand, but whose energy propels the story forward. We have a couple of great examples in this jam (when actually the characters aren't really evil, just annoying or mean), but they're well worth hearing about. Enjoy!

We also talk about great writing software, and for my money, one of the best is Dabble! Try it during Nanowrimo (sign up and get a discount on a full year of it--and it comes with an app, too!) Or just try it! It's terrific, and I've used it for several years. Sign up for a free trial at www.dabblewriter.com

What's the difference between a conspiracy theory and an accepted fact?

Answer: About six months. And these days, it sure is the truth!!

In this 40th episode of Season 2 of TALK JAM, we have a PACKED Political Talk segment to open:

It's true that things are moving fast, so today, instead of defining a specific word or phrase, we spent our Political Talk time discussing three major developments NO ONE is talking about--we feel lucky that we found them on the Internet at all!

  1. First, a bit about South Africa, which has just filed suit in the country's highest court AGAINST ITS OWN PRESIDENT AND PARLIAMENT... here's why:

https://www.trevorwinchell.com/AmericanPatriotsForum/viewtopic.phpf=110&sid=b371b375eef0870422491b8a5f3ddb54&t=5211&utm_content=13013042&utm_medium=Email&utm_name=Id&utm_source=Actionetics&utm_term=Email

  1. Next, here are the results of a new study in Nigeria that Ivermectin, TAKEN ALONE, treats Covid-19 BETTER than Ivermectin with HCQ and a Z-pack!
    https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/10/nigerian-study-shows-use-ivermectin-alone-treat-covid-19-effective-using-hydroxychloroquine-azithromycin-ivermectin-combined/

  2. Finally, we have interesting news from India--which reports that its largest province (230 million people) is now COVID-FREE. (They have virtually no new cases, and no deaths to report.) How did they do it--and for only $2.65 per household?? And why is NO ONE talking about it?

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/10/dr-campbell-reveals-reason-behind-indias-ivermectin-blackout/

Kelly adds a bit about a prophetic word she thinks we all need to hear:

https://rumble.com/vnbivf-barry-wunsch-djt-draw-your-sword.html

In our second jam, we turn to the lighter side--a reflection on some of the great sports stories of our lifetime, and how we personally reacted to them and what they meant to us--including the 1972 Olympics, the 1980 Miracle on Ice at Lake Placid, NY, the 2016 Cubs and the 2020 Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. Listen and enjoy!

Today's episode is sponsored by the time-travel thriller novel FORWARD TO CAMELOT, by Susan Sloate & Kevin Finn:

WIKIPEDIA AND ANOTHER PERSONAL HERO: AMELIA EARHART

Today's episode of TALK JAM features two jams, one on current events, the other another personal hero of Susan's, aviator Amelia Earhart.

In Jam 1 we talk about Wikipedia, the online encyclopedia, which is not always accurate, but which recently sent Susan an email soliciting funds. Listen to her defiant response!

In Jam 2 we talk about another personal hero of Susan's (and about whom she wrote a book long ago!)--Amelia Earhart, the 20th-century aviatrix who set records and had daring adventures until her luck ran out on a round-the-world flight in 1937. She has never been found, and there is no satisfactory explanation for what happened to her. But it's great fun to speculate...

Today's TALK JAM is sponsored by the study guide for OVER MY DEAD BODY, the brilliant Biblical thriller by Kelly Fitzgerald Fowler. If you want to use the novel to create a Bible study, Kelly has created the perfect guide for you! Check it out here:

TOP TEN '80's LISTS and FACEBOOK ALGORITHM

Today's episode of TALK JAM is both fun and a little creepy!

In Jam 1 we run through our Top 10 lists of favorite '80's things, though I'm not sure we really hit ten each... but they sure are fun to talk about! We may have updated lists later, but for now, it was fun remembering STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION and Luke & Laura on GENERAL HOSPITAL!

In Jam 2 we talk about the all-powerful Facebook algorithms, which in 2018 were upgraded because Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook's founder, wanted more 'engagement' on the platform and thought that hostile or angry comments led to more engagement. That's not even talking about the Instagram algorithm that caused suicidal thoughts in fragile young girls who were concerned about body image issues...

REMEMBERING 9/11 and TOP TEN LISTS from the 1970's

Episode 37 of Season 2 has two jams.

In the first jam, Kelly and Susan share their personal memories of September 11, 2001, and the weeks that followed. There are some searing moments here, so you may need to reach for the tissues!

In our second jam, we go back to the lighter side, led by Kelly. Get out your bell-bottoms, your tie-dye, and your disco shoes: Our second jam today is ALL about the 1970s! We count down the Top 10 lists of things we loved from that wacky era. (This is not Susan's favorite topic, as evidenced by the #1 on her list!) We'll be doing top 10 lists from other eras soon, so stay tuned for those!

A COUP IN AFRICA and ROLLING STONE AND FAKE NEWS!!

Episode 36 of Season 2 has two jams!

Jam 1 is about the latest political movement in Guinea--a military coup overthrowing the current government! This is one of several small countries which have recently overthrown their governments and established a new government! We break it down for you here!

Jam 2 discusses ROLLING STONE Magazine and its recent article, claiming that a hospital in Oklahoma is so overrun by patients who've been poisoned by Ivermectin that gunshot victims can't get medical help there!

Is this true--or is it just fake news?

Episode 35 of Season 2 has two fun jams, starting with our Political Talk segment!

In today's Political Talk, we discuss gun control--which as Susan says, means hitting what you aim at. Of course, to other people, it means something very different. Kelly and Susan discuss their own experience with guns and the great importance of proper training, so you know what you're doing when you have one in your hand!

In our second jam, we discuss the extraordinary legacy of Susan's all-time favorite thriller writer, former champion jockey Dick Francis, who hung up his racing boots and started a career of writing thrillers that turned him into a legend. Hear what you can learn from a great writer--Susan's many reads of Dick Francis novels have taught her about architecture, art forgery, photography, wine appreciation, the breeding and selling of thoroughbred racehorses, how to transmit a virus (!) successfully, and many other subjects. It's also taught her about plotting complex stories and writing as simply as possible, two lessons she's carried into her own writing career. Dick Francis is a storyteller second to none: we hope you'll look for his books and lose yourself in at least one of them! (All are still available on Amazon, but do avoid the ones written after 2012, as those were written not by him but by his son Felix, a good writer but nothing like his father!)

Episode 34 of Season 2 introduces yet another important personality to our TALK JAM podcast!

In this episode, we interview the delightful Stuart Wakefield, English author and book coach for authors everywhere. Stuart has led a life that should inspire writers--from starting a career in fashion to moving on to theater, to doing a Master's in professional writing BEFORE he ever started writing his first book--DURING NANOWRIMO! And from there, he got into book coaching--accidentally--and it's now his full-time career (in between writing more books, of course).

Stuart's approach to working with writers is gentle, compassionate and endlessly supportive. Listen to his fascinating story about developing as a writer and a coach; we DARE you not to want to work with him!

  2. A funny YouTube clip: This one will absolutely make you laugh! What are these kids THINKING?
  3. Episode 33 of season 2 of TALK JAM has two jams

Jam 1 is about a happy topic: baseball and fantasy. What's not to love?

Episode 32 of Season 2 of TALK JAM is JAM-packed!

In our first jam, we discuss the viral video of Physicians' Assistant Miguel Escobar, who spoke earnestly at a recent Texas school-board meeting about the information we're all getting about Covid, why the facts are so out of whack with the truth, and what we all need to know before deciding how to school our children in the near future. His words are powerful, and we've tried to verify a lot of his claims!

In our second jam, we talk about book marketing. Writing a book is great, but once it's published you HAVE to deal with marketing it, in order to sell any copies. How do you do it? What are the best methods, and what's worked for us? Here's the first of what will probably be MANY conversations about how to market a book!

Episode 29 of Season 2 is a treat! In this episode, we begin with a diet update (Susan has gone back to intermittent fasting and so far, it's been successful!) In our second jam, we discuss a topic most writers will appreciate: a writing exercise called Magna Carta, in which you list all the things you LOVE to read in a book, and all the things you HATE to read in a book--because by constantly referencing them, you'll end up writing a project you LOVE!

Episode 28 of Season 2 introduces a new type of segment on TALK JAM, where Kelly and Susan discuss their personal heroes and why they admire them so much.

Today is Susan's turn to kick things off, with a segment on Desi Arnaz, the man who created I LOVE LUCY, started a dance craze with the conga in the US, and who went from cleaning birdcages in Florida as a homeless refugee from his Cuban homeland to starring on Broadway, leading his own orchestra and marrying a bona fide movie star--Lucille Ball. And all this BEFORE I LOVE LUCY became a television legend! Desi Arnaz lived the American dream, in a way few of us ever get to do, and he's one of Susan's heroes. Hear why and how in this episode!

Episode 26 of Season 2 has two intriguing jams!

In our Political Talk segment, we talk about the origin of the phrase 'swallowing the Kool-Aid', where it came from and what it means in the context of political conversation today.

In our second jam, we talk about how long it ACTUALLY TAKES to write a book. That time can vary widely--from three days to, in one case, thirty years! The good news is, other writers have done it much more quickly, and we discuss them, too, and how to get a good book out of ANY time you have to write. (Warning: Hearing how quickly some of these writers have turned out their books may make you need to lie down with a cold cloth on your head!)

For example, the 'ultimate' fast writer, check out THE WAR OF THE WORLDS MURDER by Max Allan Collins, one of my favorites in his 'disaster' series from the mid-2000s. You'll find plenty of details on Walter Gibson (aka Maxwell Grant) and how he wrote The Shadow novels, which were so popular in the 1930's":

Episode 25 of Season 2 is an exploration of one of America's favorite topics--UFO's!

Kelly takes the lead in a lively discussion about the work of prominent UFO researchers, what she's learned in watching their documentaries and reading their stories, and finally comments on whether she herself believes in UFO's. We also learn what 'Foo Fighters' actually are (Susan didn't know before this conversation!) and what "Operation Paperclip" was really about. (Note: It was the OSS--Office of Strategic Services--until the end of World War II, the CIA after that.)

Episode 24 of Season 2 is special--Kelly is back from Ireland and behind the microphone again, where she belongs! We've all missed her, and we're so glad to be creating new content for you IN PERSON again! Thanks for sticking with us through this very tough time!

This episode has two jams, starting with a Political Talk segment unlike the others. In this one, instead of defining a term that may not be familiar, I just read a very special quote from Alexis de Tocqueville--which you may know as the "America is great because she is good" quote. This quote is beloved by many, including several presidents--Reagan, Clinton, Eisenhower and even Nixon--except... did Alexis de Tocqueville ever really SAY it or WRITE it? As far as we know, he didn't! So who did? We explore that question--along with a sidebar on racism and a 1960's experiment on prejudice that Kelly herself took part in at school--in this riveting jam.

Our second jam features a conversation about a brand-new book we're really excited about! Full disclosure: Susan is a principal in Covfefe Press, a small local publishing house, and they've just published the first book by one of her closest friends! Joe Stephens has loved boys' series books for years, and now he's written his own, the first in a series, titled KYLE & COREY and the Game-Store Mystery, for readers 9-15. Susan and Kelly (who has also known Joe for years) talk about his inspiration for the series and his plans to write more books. You won't want to miss this one!

Here's the entire "America is great because America is good" quote:

“I sought for the greatness of the United States in her commodious harbors, her ample rivers, her fertile fields, and boundless forests–and it was not there. I sought for it in her rich mines, her vast world commerce, her public school system, and in her institutions of higher learning–and it was not there. I looked for it in her democratic Congress and her matchless Constitution–and it was not there. Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power. America is great because America is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.”

Welcome to Talk Jam Extra #3. In this extra episode,  Kelly and Susan discuss how Kelly has found herself in Mandatory Hotel Quarantine in Dublin, Ireland, due to a family emergency.  What Kelly calls an emergency, the Irish Government does not call an emergency.

Having been distraught when she first arrived, she has managed to work within the confinement of the hotel on the family emergency. However, just being in the same time zone has made a great deal of difference.  Mind you, this is recorded just a few days into the quarantine, so catch up with us on our next podcast, and I am sure Kelly will be able to give you an idea of how things went after the first four days.

We hope you enjoy the discussion and learn how to navigate some international travel in this unprecedented season.

Episode 22 of Season 2 contains two jams.

1) Jam 1 is another diet update; thankfully, Susan FINALLY has some good news on her intermittent fasting! And who'd believe it: KELLY has started intermittent fasting, too!

2) Jam 2 is a Political Talk segment. This one, a little more complicated than most, deals with both psyops (military-speak for psychological operations, often in the intelligence agencies) and false-flag events, which we discuss at length. Did you know Pearl Harbor may have been a false flag event! Tune in and find out why!

We'd only expected to do 2 jams today, and we'd already signed off when we realized we could actually fit in a third jam! So here it is:

In Jam 1, we bring back Political Talk after a long absence. Today we're defining "The Great Reset" and "The Great Awakening"--two diametrically different terms which have very different meanings, depending on which side you're on!

In Jam 2, we discuss Sigmund Freud, the father of psychoanalysis--and how his highly dysfunctional family, from the nineteenth century to today, has affected American popular culture in different and terrible ways. Make sure you listen to the end--you won't believe where Freud's latest descendant has landed, and how he's affecting YOU AND YOUR FAMILY, every single day!

After those 2 jams, when you thought it was all over--presto! Jam 3! This is a short discussion of our favorite TV shows to binge on and why we enjoyed them so much. Let us know which are YOUR favorite binges, too!

Episode 18 of Season 2 is the second of a two-part episode on the Lindbergh kidnapping. In the first part, we retold the story of this tragic episode, ending with the trial and execution of Richard Bruno Hauptmann, a German carpenter living in the Bronx, who was accused of kidnapping and murdering the 20-month-old Lindbergh baby.

But was Hauptmann really guilty? Was justice served? And knowing what we know now, 90 years later, is it just barely possible SOMEONE ELSE--someone MUCH closer to the child--took the Lindbergh baby? Is it possible the perpetrator was actually... the most famous man on earth?

THE LINDBERGH KIDNAPPING--THE CASE THAT WON'T GO AWAY

Episode 17 of Season 2 is the first of a two-part episode on the Lindbergh kidnapping, a terrible crime that galvanized the nation in March 1932, in the heart of the Depression. In Part 1, we recap the details of Charles Lindbergh Jr's kidnapping, the 20-month-old son of global hero Charles Lindbergh, the first man to fly the Atlantic in 1927 successfully. Charlie Jr., known as 'The Eaglet' (his father was nicknamed 'Lucky Lindy' or 'The Lone Eagle'), was taken from his crib at the family home in New Jersey on a blustery cold winter night. The police acceded to Lindbergh's demand that HE take charge of the entire investigation. The ransom note demanded $50,000 in unmarked bills. Using a retired self-important schoolteacher from the Bronx as the go-between, Lindy made the ransom drop in early April.

The child was not recovered.

A month later, a truck driver stopping in the New Jersey woods to relieve himself found a child's remains, which animals had ravaged. Lindbergh identified the body as his son and ordered his immediate cremation.

A German carpenter in the Bronx was eventually arrested and charged with the crime after he paid for gas with one of the gold certificates the police had managed to mark as part of the ransom. With public outcry at its height and even Lindbergh identifying him in the courtroom as the man he'd heard at the ransom drop, Richard Bruno Hauptmann was judged guilty and sentenced to die in the electric chair.

But what really happened to the Lindbergh baby? This case has haunted the American psyche for almost 90 years.

Part I is only the beginning...

Episode 14 of Season 2 is all over the place! Though we start out (as a follow-up to our maltshop books episode) by talking about the wonderful old-time girls' book series from the great book packager, the Stratmeyer Syndicate (Nancy Drew, the Hardy Boys, the Bobbsey Twins and many more), we also talk about Kelly's book review of READY PLAYER ONE and READY PLAYER TWO, a far more dystopian view of our world! And we segue from there to getting writing work as an author working for a book packager (which Susan did early in her career); it's a great way to get on the map and grow some credits quickly! We even throw in the famous 'Pixar Story Structure', which applies to virtually every Pixar film (and many, many others) ever made!

We also take a moment to discuss the banning of our TALK JAM episode 'I v e r mect i n and the Wall Street Revolution' from Spotify, one of the platforms where you can find this podcast (banned for 'violating their terms of service', whatever that means). We've been canceled for our beliefs--yay!! That must mean somebody's listening!!

Welcome to our very FIRST Talk Jam EXTRA!

These will be short segments we'll try to do every month or so... just because we love you, and we want to keep the jammin' going!

You'll notice in our Talk Jam EXTRA segments, there won't be our usual theme music or 'extra' stuff (like NO ADS; yippee!)--just more talk from Kelly and Susan, usually on something we may have talked about before.

Today's TALK JAM EXTRA is an update on our diets (yeeks!) since lockdown began, last year. It's now OVER a year since we were all told to 'stay home to flatten the curve'--which was supposed to take two weeks, but in some cases, those poor people are STILL locked down! We have not experienced the same level of lockdown here, but nonetheless, it's affected how--and WHAT--we've been eating. Oh, boy!

Kelly has continued with her Dukan diet, and Susan has done... well, what Susan usually tends to do. Listen to this short EXTRA and find out!

As always, reach out to us with questions, comments, show ideas and more at talkjampodcast@gmail.com. We read EVERY email and try to answer them all!

Episode 13 of Season 2 is another special episode! In this one, Susan shares her love for maltshop books--Y/A books written primarily in the 1940's, 1950's and 1960's, which feature teens dealing with family or love issues. These books, written by wonderful women writers, helped us grow up by showing us how these characters dealt with their problems and learned from them. No addictions, car crashes or teenage pregnancies in these books--just good, clean fun, lots of laughter and wonderful stories!

Some of Susan's favorites, discussed in this episode, include the Tobey & Midge Heydon series by Rosamund du Jardin (my favorite is PRACTICALLY SEVENTEEN), the Campbell family books by Janet Lambert, BLUEBERRY SUMMER and THE FABULOUS YEAR by Elisabeth Ogilvie, a great Maine writer, and THREE LOVES HAS SANDY by Amelia Elizabeth Walden, as well as Mary Stolz's THE SEAGULLS WOKE ME. I loved them and I still read them--many on Kindle today, thankfully!

We also discuss the marvelous work of Robbie Branscum, a brilliant Y/A author who published 23 books in her lifetime, all set in the back hills of her Arkansas childhood. She was the best 'natural' writer I ever knew and a dear friend. Her best-known books are ME AND JIM LUKE and THE MURDER OF HOUND DOG BATES, for which she won an Edgar Award (a prestigious literary prize) for Best Juvenile Mystery.

To complement our maltshop book segment, we then discuss movies and TV shows with important maltshop scenes, which probably include some of YOUR favorite movies, too!

Episode 12 of Season 2 is a great discussion about the Rapture, an event referred to in the Bible but seldom (if ever) discussed in your local church. But Kelly is a fearless Bible warrior. She tackles it head-on, talking about how God loves us so much he wants to deliver us from evil (literally) before the Tribulation (also discussed in the Bible) how that's likely to happen. Many conversations here about God's love, about the nature of heaven, and some observations about how God shows us his love whenever we ask.

Season 2, Episode 10 of TALK JAM is devoted to a most interesting discussion involving THE WIZARD OF OZ and whether it could be an allegory for one of the hottest political issues of the 19th century.

Our political talk episode features our most important discussion to date: Defining national sovereignty and globalism, how the two are intertwined and what they mean in the conflict currently raging around the planet.

Our second topic today deals with the book version of the classic story, THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ, published in 1900 by L. Frank Baum. At the time, there was raging controversy over the topic of bi-metallism--having our fiat (paper) currency backed by TWO metals, gold and silver, instead of just gold. Find out what it means (I've never heard of it) and how President McKinley's decision to back the gold standard alone may have led to his assassination in 1901. Learn also how L. Frank Baum's classic novel could be a metaphor for all the people involved in this crucial monetary argument, and how the classic play INHERIT THE WIND, about the Scopes Monkey Trial in 1925, is connected...

For more on this topic, including some interesting observations from legendary economist Milton Friedman, see Weeping Angel II's recent video, FOLLOW THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD...

Ivermectin (Covid Wonder Drug?) and the Wall Street Revolution

I don't often say, "We've done a great show," but today's episode IS a great show! I hope you'll tune in for some crucial information!

Season 2, Episode 9 is a real treat, starting with our first segment about Ivermectin, yet another possible weapon in the fight against Covid-19. Since Covid began, we've covered hydroxychloroquine as a safe and effective drug to CURE Covid, though many in the medical profession has done all they could to smear it, and we talk about why. Then we covered inhaled Budesonide, which doctors in Texas found useful and inexpensive.

Now we're proud to tell you about Ivermectin, a Japanese drug pioneered in the 1970s that Japanese medical journals have called 'a wonder drug on a level with penicillin and aspirin.' Quite an endorsement! Its success rate in treating Covid so far is 100%... and it costs about twelve CENTS/treatment course! Doctors in both Australia and Broward County, FLA have successfully prescribed the drug. Hear what WE have to say about it! Read more here about the woman we mentioned in this episode who was on her death bed and how the NIH reversed its stance on this important drug.

If you are interested in the latest research, this is an excellent video to watch on the topic from a trusted Dr. who knows what he is talking about:

https://www.bitchute.com/video/InH89amCpy7S/

Segment 2 looks at the Reddit Revolution on Wall Street, centered around the Reddit WallStreetBets group, which has taken the financial world by storm. We discuss Dr. Michael Burry, famous from THE BIG SHORT, the man who first saw the mortgage crisis in 2005 and bet against it; he made a fortune as a result. Now his fund, Scion Capital, had taken a big bet on GameStop (before the Redditers did), and he stands to make a huge return. The Reddit crowd is pitting Main Street against Wall Street to earn huge returns and break the greedy hedge funds simultaneously.

You can learn more about what Michael Burry is doing by following www.gurufocus.com, understanding what's in his Scion portfolio, or following New Money on YouTube for videos about Burry and other money-related topics. You can also learn more about New Money's own investment strategy by using the links under his videos to visit www.profitful.online.

POLITICAL TALK AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING (LISTENER DISCRETION ADVISED)

In Episode 8 of Season 2, we begin with a discussion of the words 'neocon' (or 'neoconservative') and Never Trumper, good phrases to understand and use in discussions with your friends!

In our second segment, we discuss the tragedy of human trafficking around the globe--with a terrifying amount of it happening RIGHT HERE IN THE U.S. We discuss a film by John Paul Rice, A CHILD'S VOICE, which features a discussion of pedophilia (Rice was himself a victim who got out of the life) and shows the anguish of this lifestyle. Kelly also gives us some tips on how to recognize someone who could be a victim of trafficking and also gives us some great resources for more information about this horrifying phenomenon, which affects men, women, and children around the world and was only worsened by the Covid pandemic. We hope you'll look into ways you can help fight this terrible scourge!

Episode 7 of Season 2 is a real treat! Today we're interviewing Scott Templeton, a young man with a big future--he's just won a baseball scholarship to Newberry College in South Carolina, and he'll be pitching for them next fall!

We discuss with Scott how wanting to be 'a baseball man' when he was young has led to his devoting years to training, playing and preparing for his next steps--even to spending a summer training with his school football team... just so he could play baseball better!

We especially loved Scott's appreciation for the men in his life--from his father to his coaches--who poured into him with their knowledge and skills--to make him the incredible young man he is today.

Our second (short) segment is a discussion of a brand-new book that Kelly just finished reading--THE LAST DAYS OF JOHN LENNON by James Patterson, which made a profound effect on her understanding of the man--and the band--whose short lifetime was almost over by the time she knew who they were. I'll definitely be reading this book!

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE A BIBLE?

Episode 6 of Season 2 deals with one of Kelly's favorite subjects: the Bible! As a self-confessed 'Bible nerd', Kelly admits to owning her own Bible collection and to loving various translations she's owned throughout her life, which all seemed to come along at just the right time! In this episode, she reveals the best method to choose the right Bible for you, at the right time of your life, and even suggests making the journey easier by using The Bible Project Plan (link below).

Part 2 of today's episode is our Political Talk discussion, and here Susan defines the terms 'conservative' and 'liberal' (as they would define themselves) and explains what each wants and tries to achieve. Don't miss it!

Today's TALK JAM episode features Susan telling a story (again!)... this time about the battle of the Exodus (a barely-seaworthy boat) to bring concentration-camp survivors and their families to what was then Palestine (later the state of Israel) in 1947, at a time when the British ruled over Palestine and bent over backwards to accommodate the Arabs in the region... This incredible battle, documented in Leon Uris's epic novel EXODUS, finally broke the British policy to keep survivors behind barbed wire in refugee camps and led, inexorably, to the founding of a new (old) nation.

The novel EXODUS also led to a major defamation suit by a man mentioned in the book as having performed medical experiments in the camps on prisoners. This great story of THEIR epic battle, which could have destroyed Uris's career, is chronicled in Leon Uris's QBVII (Queen's Bench VII), where the case was argued. Both novels are incredibly good reading; find them and read them if you can!!

Our Political Talk today discusses the meaning of the word 'coattails' in political terms--what does it mean, how do politicians use it, and is it really helpful? Also a quick history lesson on the only President (Zachary Taylor) who refused to be sworn in on a Sunday, and how a politician whose term had expired MAY have been president for 24 hours; and a brief take on a new Congresswoman from Florida, who will have a special flag outside her office door...

Today's episode is all about inspiring you to engage with your dreams in 2021! We've had an undeniably rough 2020, and we wanted to start 2021 on an upbeat note. Therefore, we're beginning the year with a re-telling of the amazingly inspiring Susan Boyle story--her 2009 audition on BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT, its incredible outcome and her unbelievable success as the singer she always dreamed of being. We follow this up with quick discussions of other BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT standouts and a short synopsis of a great scene in FACING THE GIANTS.

Dreams DO come true!

Our Political Talk segment today features a dramatic (!) reading from the United States Constitution; Kelly reads the Twelfth Amendment, ratified in 1804, and we discuss what it means for presidential elections and how it might affect what's happening today in the joint session of Congress to certify the votes from the 2020 election.

Episode 3 of Season 2 of TALK JAM digs into the political arena again, as both segments deal with it.

Our Political Talk segment is a definition of the phrase 'energy independence' and why it's so important for any country, especially ours, to BE energy-independent.

In our main segment, we discuss the five-minute video Patrick Byrne posted online recently, discussing his role in facilitating a $20-million bribe to Hillary Clinton in the final month of 2015, supposedly as part of a 'sting' operation set up by the FBI. Later, he discovers it's not a sting operation, but more a control mechanism to keep Hillary--whom everyone was certain would win the election--under Obama's thumb for her entire eight-year term. Season 2, Episode 2 is a happy-only conversation about several interesting topics, starting with Christmas! If ever we had a year where we needed Christmas, it's this one! So trees and lights are going up early and everybody's taking joy in the season!

In our political conversation segment, we discuss recall petitions and recall elections, where elected officials can be removed or a new election can be ordered if enough people sign a petition asking for a recall. Right now, California governor Gavin Newsome is looking at the FIFTH petition circulating, asking for his removal. THIS TIME, though, they already have EIGHT HUNDRED THOUSAND SIGNATURES (out of 1.4 million needed), with 3 months left to collect the final signatures!!

Our final segment is a loving farewell to one of America's greatest flying heroes, Chuck Yeager, the man who broke the sound barrier and ushered in the space age, who died on December 7th (Pearl Harbor Day) at the age of 97. Susan has known of him since seeing THE RIGHT STUFF for the first time in 1983 and admired him always. She tells about introducing her son to the movie and his response to Yeager's heroics in breaking the sound barrier (which he literally risked his life to do) and becoming a WWII flying ace IN ONE DAY (i.e., 5 confirmed kills in one day--pretty spectacular). Is it a coincidence that so few media outlets in the US even BOTHERED to carry the story?

Thanks to General Yeager for a life well lived...

We begin today with a whole new season of talk and fun.

Our season opener episode (1) begins with a return to political talk as a service to listeners who may think politics are dull because they don't know enough of the vocabulary. Today the word we define is 'favored nations,' an expression used commonly in business and politics. Find out what it means and why it's important!

The rest of today's episode is a potpourri of topics, from the recent (and still undecided) presidential election and election fraud to discussions about the year 2020 and how strange and unbelievable it's been. Episode 43--ELECTION WRAP-UP, VOTER FRAUD & 2020 NANOWRIMO

This last episode of Season 1 of TALK JAM is a humdinger! We talk about the election (of course!) and Kelly's experiences as a first-time poll manager on Election Day, along with more general conversation about the (non) results of the election, what we think might have happened, and what the Trump campaign can (and will) do about it. We also talk about this year's Nanowrimo (National Novel Writing Month), the annual sprint to write 50,000 words of an original novel in 30 (gulp!) days. Susan and Kelly are both participating and excited to do it! Because of Covid, this year's events will all be virtual; there'll be no live meet-ups of writers anywhere, which isn't as much fun as usual, but maybe next year!

We also give you a phone number to reach the Trump campaign--per human rights attorney Leigh Dundas, a member of the Trump legal team--in case you yourself have witnessed something related to the election or the ballot counting that you think could potentially be fraudulent; please contact the Trump team at this number: 1-800-895-4152. Episode 42: Local Voting Report and the FBI--Corruption Through the Ranks

TALK JAM, Episode 42, is a two-part discussion:

Part I is our breakdown of what's happening in Charleston County, SC with absentee in-person voting now taking place around the county (we're breaking records with the number of voters we're getting!). Even with a skeleton crew, the poll workers in our town are breaking records! We expect plenty more voters and many more ballots cast before Election Day. This will be a truly historic election cycle.

Part II is our discussion about the FBI. Susan discusses the history of the organization, its founding and the first Director, J. Edgar Hoover, who kept stern discipline throughout his organization while also keeping secret files on D.C. political figures, who were terrified of him. Hoover, in turn, never went near the Mafia, because they had their own files (and seriously compromising material) on him and his own secret life, as well. Then Kelly talks about the FBI she once knew and the latest version of it, which seems to let the most important political cases slip through its fingers; is this on purpose or are they just too incompetent to be serving us anymore? Click HERE for the link to the article Kelly mentioned in this episode.

Episode 41 of TALK JAM is a lively conversation about a recent TOWNHALL article by Kevin McCullough @KMCRadio on Twitter, titled "Signs that Trump Isn't Going to Win on November 3rd". You think it's going one way in the article, but then, thankfully, it goes another way... check out the great article here.

We conclude with more political definitions to help you beef up your political vocabulary, so you can join more of the current hot political conversation. In this episode, we discuss packing the court, co-equal branches of government, and the definitions of capitalism, communism, and socialism, and why the last two can ONLY be enforced at the point of a gun...

Episode #40 of TALK JAM is a discussion of Kelly and Susan's experiences in the election process, here in Charleston County, SC. Thousands of voters have already turned out to vote in-person absentee, with many more expected in the next few weeks. Voting continues up until November 2nd, the day before the election.

We also discuss political conversation, and how so much of it is spoken in shorthand, so you get only bits and pieces. If you don't know what some of these terms mean, it can make you feel pretty stupid. So in the interest of helping more people feel more comfortable with political talk, Kelly and Susan define some important terms and then discuss the granddaddy of all political scandals--the Watergate scandal which rocked Washington in the 1970s. Since then, virtually every political scandal has been something-gate, but Watergate was the first and still has resonance today. And Woodward and Bernstein, who reported on the scandal for THE WASHINGTON POST, have sent a generation of kids to journalism school and earned themselves a place in history.

Kelly also talks about her experience in FB jail for simply educating people about spoiled ballots. Hint, do not allow anyone working at the polls to put any marks, checkmarks even a dot on your ballot.

Episode 39 of TALK JAM introduces Susan's brand-new audiobook, STEALING FIRE! It's her first audiobook, and she is SO EXCITED about it!

Joining us in this episode is a lovely Hawaiian actress Mapuana Makia, who narrated the audiobook and discussed the process with Kelly and Susan. It's her very first podcast interview, AND STEALING FIRE was the VERY FIRST major audiobook she ever recorded, so this was a big deal!

Susan talks about her writing process, why it took her 30 years to write and publish the book, and just how much of this very autobiographical story was about her actual life, and how much was not. (Hint: It's VERY MUCH about her!)

Since the story is about a famous Broadway lyricist, we also talk a little about great Broadway lyricists, notably Susan's cousin, Fred Ebb, who wrote the lyrics for CABARET, CHICAGO, ALL THAT JAZZ, and a little ditty called "New York, New York"...

Episode 37 of TALK JAM is a discussion of September 2, 2020--a great day for Susan in many ways, because it was the day on which her son received his Super Bowl ring! (He works for the Kansas City Chiefs, so of course he received a Super Bowl ring.) We discuss the general design of the ring, though we will post no photos, for safety reasons, though you can probably find it online if you look for Pat Mahomes' ring. It's really special, and we're THRILLED!

We also discuss Tom Seaver, one of baseball's greatest pitchers, who also died on September 2nd, so it was a bittersweet day for Susan, who has loved baseball since she was a teenager. She actually saw Seaver pitch, and he WAS one of the greats, and here we recap his career and remember just how much he meant to the Mets, especially in helping them win their Miracle World Series title in 1969.

Episode 33 of TALK JAM is a lively discussion about the first 3 1/2 years of the Trump Administration and its tremendous achievements. While the media would like you to believe that Trump does nothing except tweet, play golf and think up new ways to be racist in the Oval Office, those of us who have been watching have seen enormous strides in a number of areas. Kelly and Susan pick their top 3 favorite achievements and discuss them, from energy independence to defunding Planned Parenthood to lowering the boom on drug dealers and sex traffickers. It's been a great 3 1/2 years!

Want to learn more about the Trump Administration victories? Visit www.promiseskept.com for a complete list, organized by timeline (month and year) or topic.

Here is the link to The Atlantic article Kelly referenced regarding fentanyl pouring in through the southern border via China. https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2019/08/chinese-company-helping-fuel-opioid-epidemic/596254/

Bonus topic: Joe Biden's complete list of career accomplishments, so short you could print them on a chewing-gum wrapper, and a quick rundown of Kamala Harris's most egregious political sins, in a career full of them.

We also talked about Donald Trump's career pre-presidency, and we're including a clip of his 2005 appearance before a Senate Committee about remodeling the United Nations (relevant clip begins at 1:35:30):

Episode 31 is a disturbing conversation about the online furniture company Wayfair, which may or may not be involved in some deeply upsetting activities, possibly involving child sex trafficking. Susan was first alerted to this by a YouTube video from Amazing Polly, and Kelly has been following the story for a while. This is an important story, but it takes some intestinal fortitude to listen!!

Here's the Amazing Polly YouTube Video from July 14th: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DonX1XtHlaA&t=1s Wayfair Questions Need to be Asked

The telephone number for 24-hour Hotline for Child Sex Trafficking (if you see something, say something!): 1-888-373-7888.

Number to text any suspicious activity to (you can snap a photo on your phone and send it, with a comment), to 233733 (National Human Trafficking hotline). Whatever you can do to help stop this scourge is much appreciated!!

TALK JAM Episode 30 is a discussion about hoaxes, primarily financial hoaxes, in their various forms. Kelly has a background as a credit-card fraud investigator, going back to the 1990s, and talks about her work in recognizing and investigating financial frauds perpetrated on the public. We talk about a number of different types of fraud and what to be concerned about. NEVER just hand out your credit card number, bank account number or other personal information to ANYONE, for any reason! If something seems suspicious, chances are there's something not right about it: Beware! It could cost you thousands of dollars to be wrong!!

We wind up with a talk about one of the most famous (non-financial) hoaxes of all time, the WAR OF THE WORLDS radio broadcast at Halloween, 1938, which all these years later is still America's best-known show from the Golden Age of Radio.

Episode 29 is a fascinating discussion about Dr. RIchard Bartlett, a Dallas emergency-room doctor who's been using an unusual protocol for COVID-19, which includes a 100% CURE rate among his ER patients, some of whom are extremely ill with other diseases at the same time. Dr. Bartlett is using an INHALED STEROID, similar to what doctors in Shanghai, Taiwan and Japan are using, and it's inexpensive, highly effective and working beautifully! Join us to learn what else he's doing to get his patients well in record time!

Included in this episode is mention of Johns Hopkins' Coronavirus Resource Center: here's the link:

In Episode 27, we talk about SONG OF THE SOUTH, the Disney movie that Disney tries not to acknowledge because they believe it's full of racist concepts. So even though it's not even on the Disney+ platform, you can find it on other streaming services. Susan saw it for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and for Kelly, it was her FIRST experience watching a movie in the theater! Enjoy our talk about the movie, what we liked, and how we felt about the complaints through the years about 'racism'.

We touch briefly on other censured movies history as Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Dirty Harry, and Noah.

Episode 26 is another diet update and a discussion of how we've managed our diets during the lockdown. It isn't easy to do intermittent fasting while locked down, nor is it easy to maintain calorie and exercise schedules, as Kelly does, while unable to go out normally. But now that we're out of lockdown, we're both making progress back to where we were! A lively talk about IF, My Fitness Pal and a number of other interesting ways of eating, including clean and dirty Keto and the Five-Bites Diet.

Make sure you check out the DELAY, DON'T DENY Facebook group (started by Gin Stephens, author of DELAY, DON'T DENY and the brand-new FAST. FEAST. REPEAT.). TALK JAM Episode 24 has two jams, both dealing with the racism concerns we've been focusing on over the last few weeks.

Jam 1 is a passionate discussion about GONE WITH THE WIND and HBO MAX's decision to remove it from its service. Susan is a huge GWTW fan, and Kelly does a mean Vivien Leigh impression (demonstrated in the segment). We discuss the movie, portions of the book not usually discussed and other topics involving Hattie McDaniel's Oscar win as the first black actor ever to be nominated OR WIN. Either way, GONE WITH THE WIND, a classic American film, should NEVER be banned!

Jam 2 continues our discussion of racism by focusing on the life of Sammy Davis Jr., possibly America's greatest and most versatile entertainer--singer, dancer, actor, mimic, nightclub entertainer, Broadway star, TV and movie performer, recording artist and more--whose career trajectory in the 1940s and 1950s took him straight to the heart of racism in America's core (by people who considered themselves liberal). His struggle to live a life of dignity not constantly focused on his race was profound and cost him dearly. This jam is well worth listening to!

As always, we welcome your questions and comments, and if you have a topic you'd like us to address in future jams, we hope you'll let us know!

This episode of TALK JAM  is brought to you by the novel, Over My Dead Body, by Kelly Fitzgerald Fowler.

Today's episode of TALK JAM is sponsored by FORWARD TO CAMELOT, the time-travel thriller by Susan Sloate & Kevin Finn, about the JFK assassination, available on Kindle and paperback at Amazon and other online bookstores.

Episode 23, Jam 1 is a discussion about the rioting across America in the wake of the George Floyd murder last week. Kelly and Susan have some interesting insights into not only what happened but why it happened. (Hint: Think Kristallnacht, "The Night of Broken Glass," in Nazi Germany.) Here is the link to the Officer Tatum youtube video discussed during the show https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVIhRvkT8kg&feature=share&fbclid=IwAR2IVGh5zPCqOgmgasQnyuJF0J6ucgz9it0TXGCNk2H1KzRETPURptqv8_4

Jam 2 is a discussion of a new film, THE INSURRECTION, which Susan saw last week and immediately asked many of her friends to see. THE INSURRECTION is the first film depiction (that we know of) about the global power struggle that's been waged for generations, and how brainwashing women to hate men and reject marriage (ie, feminism) and normalizing alternative lifestyles is destroying peoples lives. It sounds like a science-fiction plot, but it's not; it's ripped from today's headlines and it's REAL. And when you understand that, you understand why the riots are happening and why the COVID shutdown occurred. After this recording, Kelly saw the film and found the film interesting, but it clearly had a meager budget and not a great movie (as Susan had mentioned in the podcast). As a warning, there are blood splatter scenes that catch you off guard. The script is clunky, and you will need subtitles on.

We talk about a LOT of connected things, including the Bolshevik Revolution, and how WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY is an easy way to remember the people who are looking to destroy us...

Jam 1 is a lively discussion about someone we miss: comedian Robin Williams, who left behind an amazing body of work. We talk about his films, his stand-up comedy, his life and death. We love you, Robin! Rest in peace.

Jam 2 features Kelly's description of the amazing MAGA Boat Rally in Charleston Harbor over Memorial Day weekend. After a boater in Florida wrapped his boat in Trump-related gear and got an amazing response, he decided to do it again, moving up the eastern seaboard for additional events. On Memorial Day it was Charleston's turn, and over 1000 boats came out to show their support for the president, while Kelly ended up in the middle of it all! A great time was had by everyone!

In this episode of TALK JAM, we have our first special guest, John Soforic, best-selling author of THE WEALTHY GARDENER: Lessons on Prosperity Between Father and Son. This excellent book on personal finance, which John wrote for his son, has taken the publishing world by storm. From its beginning last year as a self-published finance book with unusual spiritual overtones, it has become a major success, partly due to John's own unique marketing choices. It was picked up late last year by Random House/Penguin and re-published in February in a new edition. John talks to Kelly and Susan about his journey as a broke thirty-year-old who vowed to change his financial future to his success in real estate. Then his retirement at age 49, to the writing of the book and his choice to self-publish. His journey to learn the marketing process and his incredible negotiations with his new publisher to achieve the best possible positioning for the latest version. John's candid and humble look at his writing life is a revelation; listen and learn what he learned!

Episode 20-Diets, Lockdown Binge-Watching & Mothers Day

Jam 1--Diet Update--In Jam 1, Susan gives us an update on her progress with Intermittent Fasting while in lockdown (spoiler alert: it's not great news). While she HAS kept fasting for at least part of every day, her 21-hour fasts from a few months ago are only a memory at the moment. She's hopeful, though, that lifting the lockdown means a new beginning to her IF adventure!

Jam 2--Lock-down Binge Watching--In Jam 2, Kelly and Susan talk about the shows they've enjoyed binge-watching throughout lockdown. Kelly and her daughter have been enjoying mother-daughter time with shows like MCMILLIONS, while Susan has been getting her sports fix with ESPN'S THE LAST DANCE, the 10-part documentary about the 1997-1998 Chicago Bulls and their quest for one last championship while the legendary Michael Jordan played for them. With some musings on this year's sports schedule, how Susan gave birth two weeks early and stories about 9/11. Great stuff!

Jam 3--Mother's Day--Kelly and Susan BOTH enjoyed Mother's Day this year! They each give a blow-by-blow account of spending the day with their families and Kelly adds a note on the joy of eating OUT, something we haven't done in a LONG time!"

Jam #1--OUT OF SHADOWS--

A conversation about the new documentary, OUT OF SHADOWS, featuring two longtime Hollywood stuntmen who discovered quite by accident that the entertainment business, and the media, have been permeated by the messages deliberately put out by the American intelligence community, something that's been going on for decades. We talk about the decades-long Operation Mockingbird and why EVERY newscaster seems to say the VERY SAME THING in the VERY SAME words... strange!! There's also some chat about why the major media figures of the 20th Century all seemed to have a background in the military... from Bill Paley at CBS to Bill Donovan, who helped Walt Disney buy the Florida swampland that became Disney World!

The link to watch OUT OF SHADOWS free (HIGHLY recommended!):

Jam #2--What questions would YOU ask Jesus's disciples?

Susan and Kelly talk about the questions they'd ask if they could, since the disciples knew Jesus better than anyone... Susan is all about the personalities, while Kelly really wants answers about the supernatural! Is it any surprise?

There's also a lively talk about the new Mel Gibson movie, the sequel to his wildly successful PASSION OF THE CHRIST, which Susan has conveniently written an article about--check it out here:

Episode 18 has two jams:

Jam 1--LOCKDOWN--How people are coping with being inside (often in beautiful weather!) and adjusting their lives to a different rhythm. Kelly and Susan discuss interesting and funny lockdown diversions, how Noah was actually locked down himself in the Ark for a year, showing faith in God, how Kelly is using the time to take an online writing class in Biblical fiction, how Susan is using Masterclass to learn more about cooking, and why cooking meat is one of her last great fears, and how homeschooling is changing. Teenagers are even talking to older people when they see you outside! It's an amazing time!

Here's the link to a great family singalong of "One Day More" from LES MISERABLES; enjoy!!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZafX_U5aqs

Jam 2--MURDER MOST FOUL--Kelly initiates a conversation about Bob Dylan's just-released song "Murder Most Foul", about the JFK assassination, and how the interesting and complex lyrics give us clues about his own feelings on the subject. This leads to an off-topic conversation about the Lincoln assassination, Susan's segment about Lincoln on CANDID CAMERA when she was a child, her encounter with Allen Funt years later in Hollywood, the Tavistock Institute in the United Kingdom and how it's trying to socially engineer an entirely different society, and Susan's discussion about Malcolm Wallace, an aide to LBJ, whose fingerprints were found on the 6th floor of the Texas Schoolbook Depository on November 22, 1963, along with mention of the FBI informant who kept Kennedy from being shot two weeks earlier in a motorcade in Chicago. Who was the informant? You don't want to miss finding out!

Episode 17 is sponsored by FORWARD TO CAMELOT, the JFK assassination time-travel thriller by Susan Sloate and Kevin Finn.

In Jam 1, we talk about THE NATIONAL PULSE, an online political magazine in which Susan has just published her first article about Chloroquine and its possible implications for the coronavirus. There are also some interesting correlations between chloroquine and malaria patients (Hint: malaria patients taking chloroquine show far LESS infection from coronavirus than patients who haven't taken it!)

In Jam 2, we talk about favorite Easter films, including THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST, SON OF GOD, and others. We also discuss the news that Mel Gibson is doing a sequel to THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST (15 years later!), once again starring Jim Caviezel as Jesus. The new version will cover the Resurrection, so it should be well worth seeing--with none of that horrible violence from the original to worry about! Also, check out the free app called The Chosen by VidAngel. An excellent series on the life of Jesus when he met the disciples.

Jam 3 is a special off-the-cuff jam we recorded last week--when Susan couldn't contain herself and just had to call Kelly after being on a conference call with THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES! Hear all the juicy details here!

"In Episode 16, Jam 1 is an interview with Kelly about her wonderful children's book, THE AMAZING MR. BIG, which is a 229-word recap of the Bible which RHYMES!! It's a clever way to introduce young children to the concepts and stories, starting in Genesis and continuing into the Book of Acts in the New Testament, introducing important characters, including Jesus Christ himself. Join us to hear how Kelly came up with the idea and actually wrote the entire book in TEN MINUTES!! In a strange act of total coincidence, Episode 16 is sponsored by Kelly's book, THE AMAZING MR. BIG.

Jam 2 is an update on what's happening around the country with COVID-19, the coronavirus, how people are reacting to it and why the media is the villain in terrifying people into panic buying, hoarding and even price gouging. Though Susan is a trained journalist and has worked in the field for years, right now we are NOT a fan of the media!

Jam 3 is a brief discussion of an article that appeared on March 19th in Breitbart News, about Ethiopian nomads who have died in unusual numbers since 2014--more than 2000 of them--from a painful disease that's causing bleeding from their eyes and ears and a change in skin pigment to a yellow-green color. This is alarming, especially when you consider that this pretty much began with a Chinese company coming into Ethiopia to create commercial opportunities. Did it dump toxic waste into the nomads' water supply? Was it testing the effects of a military-grade bio-weapon on these people, figuring that nomadic tribes would not be missed if it caused them to die? Some interesting speculation here!

Our bonus Jam today is about a little-known article from PLAYGIRL (1979) about a phenomenon called 'aloners'--people who seem to get their strength from being alone more often than they are with people. They are not anti-social, but aloners always seem to need that extra time to gather themselves to face others. Is this you? (Susan says it's her, for sure!) Let us know if YOU're an aloner, and how you keep your balance in this very social world!"

In our first jam, we talk about someone most of us still love--the one and only Lucille Ball, of I LOVE LUCY fame. Susan has some insights into her career and her marriage to Desi Arnaz, and Kelly talks about her favorite episodes and the impact they had on her. Don't miss this one; we had a 'ball' doing it!

We really get into the weeds in Jam 2, talking about great athletes and what happens to them when their athletic careers are over. If you're Michael Jordan or Tiger Woods, how do you re-capture the passion of your playing days when you have to stop playing, sometimes sooner than you wanted to, because of injuries or other factors? Is anything on earth as exciting, ever again? What can you do to bring back that excitement? Where does your focus go now? This jam includes a great quote from the movie THE NATURAL, as well as some deep philosophical musings by Kelly and Susan.

"Jam 1 is the State of the Union address and all the things we loved about it. Lots of moving moments to talk about there, including the soldier who came home unexpectedly and the Presidential Medal of Freedom awarded to Rush Limbaugh, America's Anchorman! Also a riff on Nancy Pelosi and why she felt it necessary to rip up the SOTU address given her by the president.

"Jam 2 is about Brexit and the moment when the UK was FINALLY free. We also talk about why so many Remainers believed remaining was the only sane choice--the answer here has something to do with the fact that the globalists ARE LYING TO YOU--and what's going to happen in the UK now, with 11 months to the final transition.

"Jam 3 is a wrap-up about impeachment and all the incredible things that happened on Impeachment Acquittal Day. We don't often have a full episode about politics, but these have been some special moments, and Talk Jam wanted to be right in there! Enjoy!"
