Citing influences such as hip-hop, soul, jazz, funk and rare soundtracks of the sixties and seventies, he identifies himself primarily as a producer, although DJing and his love for these soulful tunes from the past have been cemented in him since an early age.

In January 2016, the station was restructured and he was brought into the Radio Electronica team by Nicola Candelaria, being now responsible for booking, new introductions and the internationalisation of the Radio Electronica brand.

Mainly influenced by his younger brother, he started producing beats and cuts out of dusty vinyl-records around 2000 and by 2005 he had already moved to Frankfurt where he got in contact with the electronic music local scene.
With his friend Le Rubrique he started the regular House and Techno Event "Sucio'' at the now legendary Café KOZ to promote upcoming and established artists, which is where he started Djing in 2008 and evolved a passion for vinyl records and the whole record shop-digger cosmos.
In 2012 he moved to Berlin where he started his own label. In 2018 he founded the Gwen Torino mixing studio where he offers audio services for electronic music productions. Due to his love for funk and soul music he created the GOOEY Editz series in 2020 to bring back some forgotten diamonds back to light.

We are very pleased to announce the debut at the Blur Podcasts, of the wonderful and talented DJ and Producer - Intr0beatz - hailing all the way from Iceland!
Coming into prominence as Intr0beatz back in the late ‘90s first as a turntablist, then as the beat producer behind the seminal 2000s Icelandic hip-hop group Forgotten Lores, he has since been delving ever deeper into house music, releasing a slew of 12”s and EPs on various deep house labels such as Dark Energy, Something Else, and Closer To Truth.

Born in the central parts of Namibia, DJ Dreas is an electronic music producer and DJ, who recently composed at the Red Bull Cape Town Studios, a beautiful EP entitled "Tangerine". With an eurocentric deep house essence, and afro touch, it carries fundamental importance for DJ Dreas as he regards it as "his beginning" in the circle of music in southern Africa. Having performed alongside international acts such as Da Capo, DJ Zinhle, Prince Kaybee, Euphonik among others, the 21 year old shows he's a versatile DJ, and he has recently joined the UMB Academy, a label founded by commercial namibian music pioneer and artist “Brain the Tool”.
Eugene Onyango, DJ , music producer & currently the artists and repertoire of East Africa's electronic music record label, Gondwana Ke. Lucky enough to have found his skill and developed a passion for music from a young age in his home town of Mombasa, EUGGY went on and ventured into the underground dance scene which led to meetings with paramount and predominant individuals in the field who paved his way to showcase at some of the most remarkable parties, having already debuted in cities like Johannesburg ( Iklwa Brothers music label showcase) & in Nairobi, at various night clubs and festivals. Through fusing different local compositions with electronic sounds around the global on his label’s catalog, he has given Gondwana Ke a unique identity from which he helps build a platform for East Africa’s electronic scene as the goal is to spread music from home. Today, EUGGY is based in the city of Nairobi playing a mixture of Afro, house, Deep House & Techno at different clubs and also holds a monthly residency with Gondwana Ke.
Thabo Motloang known as Chronical Deep is a self taught music producer from Johannesburg South Africa. Worked with the likes of Andreas Balicki, Jazzuelle, Ed-Ward, TorqueSA, Lloyd BW, Kali Mija. Luís Batista is well-known as Nox since the beginning of his foray in electronic music, dating to nearly 2 decades. Setting a remarkably strong, intense, and evolutionary path, Nox’s musical line combines a number of influences, trends and different fringes. His journey through music is characterised by a highly individual and personal stamp of its own, whether in his technical approach, whether in his emotional relationship with music that is transferred to his main workplace, the dancefloor. In late 2000, Nox became a freelancer, and in 2011 he began the project once known for Fuse Lx. Productions that led him to remix artists such as DJ Vibe, Oscar L, Phunk Investigation and releasing music on labels like Magna Recordings, Kaos and most recently, fresh04 recordings, can be added to this fruitful journey. Abroad, he travelled to places like Spain, Morocco, France, Switzerland, England, Sweden, Albania, and Poland, also where he took part in acclaimed and renowned events such as WMC and ADE. Nox is an eternal music lover and a new technologies aficionado. More recently, he has discovered the joy of what it is considered to be the pinnacle of human emotion – he became the father of a sweet, smiling boy already full of groove, one of his many inspirations to add and enrich even more his musical path.
Vicmari, a producer and live performer from South Africa. Well known in producing Electronic, Dub, Ambient and also Techno sounds fusing them with a bit of Acoustic music to give you those soothing sounds he is known well for. Currently working with a German recording label Slope Music, Eclipser Chaser.
From humble beginnings, VICMARI was born in a small township in Durban, South Africa, KwaDabeka K; his love for music began in a very tender age. As he was most of the time alone, being an introvert, the only close friend was his music. As most house lovers, he started wanting to be a house Dj and managed to get himself a computer from fixing them and helping where he could. His music collections were influenced by Dj's and compilers like Monde, Bubbles, Khabhila, Ndux, Vinny Da Vinci and Christos just to name a few.
As years went on, in 2009 a friend introduced him to FL Studio not knowing anything about the program, a friend just told him, "It's a tool to make your own music". But Vicmari didn’t really connect to it at first and the sound he was producing did not live up to the young mans standards In 2011, as technology developed, social media played a major role in the ambitious young man, as it made it easier to connect with people from overseas countries like the UK, USA, Japan and Germany. He came across an overseas radio show "DeepRhythms" hosted by DJ Timo. In that specific show, he came across an exhilarating guest mix by Daniel Paul Behemann Vic connected immediately with Daniel via social media. They became friends and Daniel was now Vic's Mentor whom guided him through the early stages of his music career. The friendship grew stronger and Vicmari became part of the Slope family.
