She articled with a prominent multinational Canadian law firm before practicing exclusively in the area of family law with two boutique family law firms from 2009 to 2019. In the spring of 2019, Efua launched her own practice (Efua Cobbina Law) becoming a founding partner of Di Battista Katz Grant Cobbina LLP in December 2019. Efua is a member of the Black Female Lawyers Network where she recently completed a two-year term as a director and she is a member of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers.
