Most people are waiting for the right title and for the right opportunity.
But what if that's the exact thing keeping you stuck?
Sierra Henry is a dynamic sports storyteller, content creator, and media professional whose work bridges the worlds of athletics, entertainment, and culture. She became the first female sports director at KTXS. She worked as an ESPN+ color analyst. She's now the Coordinator of Sports Information at Texas Southern University.
And while doing all of that? She built SportsBae, a multimedia brand connecting sports, personality, and pop culture on her own terms.
She didn't ask for permission. She didn't wait for validation. She just started building.
In this episode, she's breaking down exactly how she did it.
Here's what Sierra reveals:

Your ads aren't converting because your offer is the problem, not your budget.
In this episode, Caleb Thompson is the Founder and CEO of CT Solutions. He went from chasing freelance videography gigs to helping companies scale through content and paid ads by doing one thing differently: repositioning his skills into a market-driven offer.
Caleb makes a bold argument that most entrepreneurs aren't ready to hear: Passion alone doesn't make people care. Not when audiences see thousands of ads daily, and trust is at an all-time low. The entrepreneurs winning right now aren't the most talented. They're the most valuable to the market. This episode will show you how to become that.
YOU'LL LEARN:→ Why passion alone doesn't pay the bills (and what actually does)
→ How commoditization is changing the game for service providers
→ The positioning shift that turns your skill into a scalable offer
→ Why understanding your client's problem better than they do is your biggest competitive advantage
→ The truth about running ads on a bad offer — and how to fix the offer first

Most people pick one thing and stick with it.
One business. One passion. One path. But what if you didn't have to choose?
Hana Atherton is the founder of The Motorclub, a one-of-a-kind event venue set inside a showroom of classic and collector cars. But that's just one part of her story.
She's also a Licensed Master Social Worker serving children in foster care, a real estate investor flipping houses across Houston, and the Director of Philanthropy for Houston Business Women.
She's living proof that you don't have to pick just one passion. You can build businesses, serve your community, and create meaningful spaces, all at the same time.
In this episode, Hana shares:
Here's the truth: You don't have to fit into one box. You can be passionate about cars, real estate, social work, and community, and build a life around all of it.
Hana's doing it, and she's breaking down exactly how.

Ever wondered how to build a podcast that’s real, raw, AND ridiculously funny? In this episode, I sit down with my good friends Caleb and Levi, the creators of the That’s How You Feel podcast — and let’s just say, things get hilariously real REAL fast. 😂
From going viral over a conversation about kiwis (yes, kiwis) to navigating harsh internet comments, Caleb and Levi open up about:
We talk about building your brand your way, finding your voice, handling criticism, and why sometimes the smallest moments (like a Costco trip!) become the biggest stories. If you’re a creator, podcaster, or someone who’s just trying to be bold and show up as yourself — this one’s for you.
👀 Plus, Caleb reveals why he really wants to be famous (spoiler: it's the money 😂), Levi drops wisdom about grief and growth, and we all agree that confidence is key—even when you’re wearing questionable jeans.
🎧 Tune in. Laugh with us. Learn from us. And be reminded that your voice matters.

Have you ever been in a space where you said to yourself, "I don't know how to do this and I'm worried that it's not going to turn out or I'm not going to get the right outcome."
It's a feeling we've all experienced when embarking on something new, something we've never done before. The emotions that arise, questioning our abilities and feeling incapable, seem to overshadow the thoughts that tell us we can succeed.
It's interesting how our brains work sometimes, isn't it? We tend to focus more on the negative thoughts, on why we can't do something, rather than embracing the positive thoughts that empower us to believe in our capabilities. But embracing the unknown is a crucial part of personal growth and development.

I'm excited to share my insights with you on this topic: Letting go of desperate energy. We will explore the effects of operating from a place of desperation and how it hinders our personal growth and success. Join me as we discover the power of embracing authenticity and surrendering to the flow of life.
I discuss the pitfalls of operating in a space of desperation or greed, which can cause a loss of self-awareness, manifest ego, and impact relationships negatively. If you are feeling desperate energy, I recommend patience, self-awareness, and staying focused on the personal journey rather than the end goal.
By leaning into the discomfort of the process and regularly checking in on goals and feelings, one can manage personal growth more effectively. In this episode, I also addresses societal pressures from social media and the importance of taking breaks. You'll hear me discuss the need to balance surrender and trust with hard work in order to effectively navigate the journey towards one's goals.

On this episode of Overcoming, you'll hear how Cleotha heals from the passing of a loved one, why taking yourself seriously is a necessity for growth, and tips you can use for a healing process.
Meet Cleotha Daniels:
Cleotha is a 4th year Associate In-House Counsel for Midwest Health, Inc. in Topeka, KS. She lives in Topeka with her son, Iosefa.
Mostly, Cleotha enjoys peace and quiet and appreciates anytime she has both. She’s pretty sure she has a third eye, but its vision is like 20/40 so it’s just squinting the whole time. She is an Ichabod and a Buffalo. She recently discovered how important it is to mix dry ingredients together and wet ingredients together separately and then combine the two.
Cleotha is a Gemini. As a lover of brunch, she believes French toast is the superior brunch food. Yellow is her favorite color. While she has social media, she believes it is an overall waste of time, taking into account how much times she spends on it.
You can waste your time too by following (or not) her on IG: @cleothadaniels or @loccedandfit or connecting with her on LinkedIn @CleothaDaniels.

On this episode series, we discuss Overcoming Hills & Valleys: surviving cancer, transitioning into adoption and beauty and expressing what walking in Christ looks like!
Oh yeah, it's POWERFUL!! Tune in!!Meet Sarah Laundry:"I'm Sarah Lundry, 31 years young :) Married to the love of my life, Garrett. We have an ornery, silly, handsome 3 year old (will be 4 this week), Brooks. I work at Advisors Excel as the Manager of Culture Initiatives. My passions include music (playing, writing and singing it), spending time with friends and family and uplifting others. I am a worship & bible study leader at my church and I love to encourage other women to reach the best of their potential within their relationship with God. I was diagnosed with a complete Molar Pregnancy in December of 2020, but unfortunately my D&C didn't take care of it all. I was diagnosed with Gestational Trophoblastic Neoplasia in May of 2021 & underwent a single agent chemotherapy. The chemo was effective to reduce the mole to a microscopic speck, but the GTN came back 2 more times spreading to & metastasizing in my lungs. The best course of action was to do aggressive chemo combined with a partial hysterectomy in June of 2022. After completing those necessary action items, we are hopeful it took care of it for good! My scans have been good & we will continue to monitor until July 2024. Cancer is the nastiest thing I've ever known, but there was so much collateral beauty that came out of it. I fell in love with not only the big things that make life great, but truly the little moments in every day that bring me joy - like a cup of coffee or hearing my kiddos laughter. God used it to bring me closer to himself & couldn't ever be more grateful for how he's using my story for his own glory. I hope to be a light in the lives of those around me and in all I think, say and do I hope to honor the Lord."-From Sarah➡️ You can follow Sarah on all platforms:@sarahlundry@simplysarahstudio
