She's back with another episodeeee!

Today I wanted to chat to you about messy action and how it is the one thing in my life that has always helped me to GET SH*T DONE.

As a recovering perfectionist, taking small and imperfect steps toward a goal has helped immensely in boosting my self-confidence and motivation to keep going.

If you're starting a business, a project, a new job, or perhaps you want to go on a solo travel trip. Take this ep as your sign to take that first step and get it done!

Oh, it's a bit of a scandalous topic hitting your ears today!

I felt really called to chat about this, especially in the midst of returning to the corporate world on a part-time basis after full-time self-employment.

And I'm not the only one, there is a certain allure in the air at the moment to be in a secure 9-5 job rather than taking the risk of starting your own business.

There are a few factors that come into play here, and it also massively depends on your business experience, your financial goals and what you want your lifestyle to be.

This topic is important because entrepreneurship isn't for everyone. If it was easy, everyone would do it. And it is far from easy!

It's hard work and it's worth it if you offer a good product or service that you're willing to dedicate at least the next 5 to 10 years towards.

Join me on this authentic chat about business versus employment.

It's my first sissy chat and I am SO EXCITED to bring you none other than my amazing sister, Emily!

She's a force to be reckoned with, and I am so incredibly proud of her journey.

We chat all about her university career studying a Bachelor of Engineering with a major in Mechatronics and how she navigated being the only girl in her class. 💀

Then we jump in the deep end and chat all about her desire to join the Defence Forces and ultimately landing on the Navy, and where her career has taken her in the past few years.

A super inspiring and passionate young woman. This ep is definitely a must-listen. ❤️

Yip, you read that right....ya girl is going back to work! But why?

Don't worry I'll still be running The Sweet Spot and Something New Socials. However, I felt the call to return to a job for a variety of reasons, here's a few:

  • belonging to a team!!

  • having an office set-up

  • work fraaaands (I miss Xmas Do's hahah)

  • having somewhere to go & dressing up

  • secure pay cheque is also nice (especially in this economy)

  • big financial goals this year, so my job will pay for the bills & business is cherry on top!

It's going to be a huge adjustment considering I haven't stepped foot in an office for two whole years, but I am here for this next season and I will be offering my self grace as I adapt.

Join me in a powerful chat as I discuss my learnings and takeaways from an event hosted by Ben Warren (Founder of BePure).

A super profound chat on understanding that all we have is the present moment, human being vs human doing, different types of meditation and how to unlock true happiness within you.

It's time I let you all in on the new branch of my business! As most of you know I'm a marketing girly, and have been specialising in content creation for the past four years.

A few years ago I saw the offering of wedding content creation over in the States and I kept my eye on it, and now fast forward to 2023/24, it's becoming a fast-growing trend within Australia and New Zealand!

So I thought I'd shoot my shot because all I would be doing is transferring the skills and experience I already have to another industry!

I've had 10 bookings in my first two months and I can't wait to see where I can scale this business to.

It's been a hot minute since I've set myself some kind of challenge or journey to stick to - and I'm no stranger in admitting that the best way for me to get sh*t done is to have some kind of structured routine.

I'm currently in a season where I've come off the back of one of the most exciting times of my life (getting married) and with that came a lot of celebrations and going with the flow.

Last week we returned from a week in Fiji for our honeymoon - it was such a great time but now I'm looking forward to putting my head down and smashing out some goals....

And so I introduce to you the Do Not Disturb Diaries - you've seen me do 75 Hard and 100 Day Challenges, so listen to the episode to see what's next!

Have you been wondering how people with smaller followings are receiving free product from brands?

Well that's me. I'm a UGC content creator and have been taking it seriously since the end of Nov 2023.

In this episode, I chat about what exactly is UGC (user generated content) and then I get into answering some questions that I came through Instagram.

In 3 months, I've worked with over 20 brands, and secured my first paid deal within 6 weeks of pitching.

Being a UGC creator is one of those things that people say "that looks easy, I want to do it." But there's a lot more to it, and thankfully my background in marketing has made the transition a breeze.

If you think it might be for you, give this ep a listen and then feel free to DM me if you have any further questions. X

Get ready for a spicy ep that will blow your mind - most of us are all on our own personal healing journeys, that for the most part don't look pretty.

Personal growth requires discipline and a willingness to let go of everything you've ever known.

I watched a Tiktok a while ago that shifted my whole perspective around my growth and development and that no matter how hard it gets, I need to keep going.

In this ep you will hear the audio file of the analogy and then we will unpack it together!

Mid Jan 2024 marked one whole year of being self employed and without the guarantee of a secure income!

To say I was naive when I left my job was an understatement but when you're responsible for your income, you make it work.

And that I did.

The focus on 2023 was slowing down, and having fun whilst making enough money to sustain my bills.

Now in 2024, I'm feeling the urge to build, scale and create even more abundance so that's what I touch on in this episode.

The launch of a new business, failed offerings, the challenges I've overcome and so much more...

It's Feb but don't fret! If you're still sussing out your life for 2024 let this episode be the catalyst to set your goals for this year.

2023 was the year of feminine energy, rest and flow for me. I feel incredibly grateful that I was able to have that time to reset my nervous system after 3 years of burnout (LOL).

2024 feels spicy and I'm ready to take action! Which is why I'm trialing the 12 week year, a productivity framework that is based on the notion of structuring your goals by quarter.

I've set my goals for Quarter One and I go through them with you in this week's episode. If the 12 week year intrigues you and you wanna give it a go, flick me a DM and we can be accountability buddies!

Hello poddy fam! I'm sad to announce that this is the finale of Season 3. I've appreciated all of your ears this season, but it's gotten to a point where I need to focus on my overseas travels and I'll be back in your ears later in the year with Colombia content. 🤩

Loren is a mindfulness and journalling coach and owns her own digital marketing agency, The Social Collective. ✌️ The duality in her passions is what makes her so intriguing, she has learned how to masterfully balance her spritiaulity with her boss girl vibes!

Being an entrepreneur is a rollercoaster, and only those who continue to invest in their self-development will make it through.

Business is a beautiful thing, and everyone truly does have what it takes to succeed, but only with the right support. We can't wait for you to listen. 🎧

We've all got an angel 👼 and devil 👿 on our shoulders ~ one telling us that achieving balance is an absolute load of crap, and one telling us maintaining a balanced life is necessary for happiness and fulfillment. So who's right?

It's a constant battle between the two so in this episode let's dive deep 👇

⚖️ what is balance?

⚖️ is life just a whole bunch of seasons?

⚖️ you're getting nowhere with a lack of boundaries

⚖️ what is self-care to you?

These are just some of the ideas we discuss in this episode. And two banger eps that complement this ep really well are our hustle culture one (S1:E2) and our life audit one (S1:E5). Throwinnn it wayyy back! Appreciate all your love and support if you loved the ep let me know! 💗

A topical question in my life as I consciously step more into more of a human being rather than a human doing. When things feel hard, you have to ask yourself whether this is an opportunity to learn and grow or if this is the Universe telling you that this job, relationship, or situation is not for you?

Because there are two parts to it, do you need to be called out on your shit or is this situation truly not in alignment with your values and who you want to be?? 😬

Join me as I dive into how I dissect this crossroad in my life and ultimately the signs I look for when I know something isn't for me and it's better for everyone if I shut the door so that new ones can open. 🚪

Ok this chat was so fun! Having Emily on from the Hot No Matter What Podcast honestly felt like a catch-up with a friend. As part of 75 HARD, I can't drink alcohol, I'm roughly two months in and it's the longest I've not had a bevvy in my adult life. And Emily has not had a sip of alcohol since the end of last year.

So we're both in the midst of our "not drinking era" so we thought it was only appropriate to dive into the chat of "sober curiosity" which has become quite a trendy buzzword in recent months. In this episode, we discuss:

🍸 what it means to be sober curious

🍸 why is it trending in the health space

🍸 our experiences with alcohol growing up

🍸 the influence behind Emily's decision to quit the alcs

🍸 and the culture and response when you tell someone you're not drinking

She's another lengthy one, but a goodie! So put on ya walking shoes, head out for a walk, and prepare to be inspired!

This is one juicy ep ~ I had the pleasure of speaking with Ethan for the second time and he never ceases to amaze me with his wisdom and truth bombs. 🔥

If you're keen to listen to Ethan's first ep it is Season 2 Ep 17. In today's chat we dive deep into the transformative shifts Ethan has had in the past year, including the learning he has done around nervous system regulation and how he has adopted these teachings into his own life in order to heal. ❤️‍🩹

This hugely reasonated with me as this is the main reason I quit my job in January so that I could spend more time healing my inner world.

Then Ethan proceeded to blow my mind with somatic trauma therapy which refers to healing trauma through the body rather than the mind. The personal development industry is very heavily focused on mindset work, and Ethan says "if you could think yourself out of it, you would've done so by now."

A very insightful chat that I am sure you will all love so much!

Day 37! I'm at the halfway point for 75 Hard and I didn't even realise it. I know when we last chatted about the challenge I was umming and ahhing about doing 30 days or the whole thing - and it's safe to say I would've been sad if I stopped at 30 days because I'm loving the journey and process and I don't want it to end.

I bet you thought you'd never hear me say that haha - in this ep I touch on the rollercoaster of emotions, what it feels like mentally and physically to have no rest days, and then I get a wee bit vulnerable and share some of my journal entries from the past month or so to give you an insight into what it's really been like.

I hope this inspires some of you to give it a go - my DMs are always open if you want to chat.

This ep is a long one but she's a goodie! Grab a cuppa and sit down to hear Steph and I chat about all things self-employment and digital nomad life.

Steph was on the podcast in March 2021 (S1:E28). In her first ep we chatted about gender pay, achieving work-life balance and making bold decisions. So if that sounds like a bitta you, I highly recommend that you listen to that episode first.

In true Steph fashion, a lot has changed for her so I wanted to get her back on to update us all on how her life has shifted in the past two years. She is now full-time self-employed and we chatted about the obstacles that come with that journey such as cashflow issues, and tying your self-worth to your work.

Then we deep dive into navigating full-time travel in Southeast Asia as someone who doesn't have the security of a guaranteed income. It was such an insightful conversation and it has made me realise that it's a lot more doable than most people think.

If I've learned one thing from recording this episode it's that the mum and parenting scene can be judgy as heck. If you prioritise your physical and mental health you're selfish, and if you don't you're not looking after yourself to be the best version of yourself for your child. Like with anything, no matter what you do, people will have something to say, so you might as well do what makes you happy right?

In this episode, I'm joined by Tiree, a new Mum, and women's online trainer and coach. She teaches from experience, having realised the importance of structured and intentional training in her own journey of pre and post-partum.

Meditation - it's such a buzzword, we've all heard it's good to practice meditation to give our minds a break - but what is the true power of it?

In today's ep I speak with meditation expert Caroline about her teaching practices, how she got into meditation, and how it has changed her life.

Now I know meditation isn't for everyone, it wasn't for me for almost 5 years until I seriously committed to meditating for 100 days straight and now rarely a day goes by where I don't sit down and meditate. I can wholeheartedly say it has been one of those tools and practices that has been integral to my personal and mental growth.

If you're on the fence about meditating, or think it's too 'woo woo' for yah, give this poddy a listen!

Yup that's right - I'm jumping on the clickbait bandwagon but I honestly am telling the truth, I have already been paid $15,000 towards my Colombia trip which pretty much covers all of my expenses.

For those that don't know, I'll be heading over to Colombia in August to do an internship, I have been planning this since pre-Covid days (2019) and the year is finally here, I'm feeling nervous, excited, and scared but I am so ready for the growth.

As a small-town gal that has never travelled alone, or been away from home (or my fiance) for this long, it's going to be a massive growth journey that I am so ready to conquer!

2023 is the year of following my dreams - so if you want to know how I made this trip happen for FREE, listen to the ep to find out. 🤑

This one is for the serial organisers who plan their lives down to the second! Did you know that living life this way is potentially blocking a bigger plan that the Universe has for you?

Now I totally get it, uncertainty is generally a cause for anxiety so planning helps to alleviate some of the stress. However, with a rigid plan there is no space for flow, flexibility and spontaneity which often bring about the best parts that make up our lives.

In this episode, we chat about why it's important to have a broad vision and mission for life, but to also allow space and time for the Universe to work her magic. 🌟

It's a great day to have a great day! This week's ep is that self-development fix that you need. 😍

5 BENEFITS OF CHALLENGING YOURSELF - I have a new-found love for challenging myself in the form of a 6-week exercise program, 100 days of consistency, or the 75 hard program. 👀

Most of you will know I have a love/hate relationship with hustle, because I always find myself at the extreme of toxic hustle culture which always results in burnout. 😭

This year is all about finding a beautiful balance between execution and rest, and 2022 was great for building these foundations through the two 100 days of consistency I accomplished. ✔️

I can't wait for you to listen to the ep. 🎧

We're back with another fun ep - we're chatting all things spirituality and how I embarked on my own spiritual journey and how this compares to being raised as a Catholic.

Spirituality and religion often get mistaken for one another but I believe they are two completely separate things, however, I have found that many spiritual concepts and values are embedded into eastern religions such as Buddhism.

Spirituality is definitely a trendy thing at the moment, all the young gals are into the 'woo woo' stuff haha so listen to the ep to find out what it all means to me.

Hello special humans, we are back with the FINAL EP for Season Two. I have been feeling called to close this season for the past couple of weeks because as ya know I have been struggling to get episodes out with the changes that have been happening in my life!

This ep is a run-down on the biggest change and that is that I RESIGNED!! Woohoooo! After being unhappy in my job for about 12 months, I finally took the leap and left. I am super excited to announce that I now work from home full-time for a marketing agency in Aussie - doing content creation and marketing :)

I am really happy with where I am at in my life which as you all know is massive for me to be saying that! I am looking forward to seeing what the rest of 2022 has in store for me!

I'll be back in your ears in a month or two!

Much Love,

Felicia xx

This week I bring my other half back for a juicy chat about all things network marketing (NWM). Daniel and I have both had our own separate experiences with NWM. Daniel was in the game from 2017-to 2018 and I joined at the end of 2020 and left mid-way through 2021. It's taken me a while to come on the poddy and talk about my experience of leaving NWM and that's because it was a hard pill to swallow because I felt like a "failure" but now I know it was all a part of my learning journey and I had to go through it.

Daniel was a big part of my journey with NWM because without him I wouldn't have had the funds to join and so when I came to the realisation that I didn't want to do it anymore that required a big conversation with Daniel but we got through it. Join us as we chat about what we learned in the NWM space and why we both eventually decided it wasn't for us.

This week on the poddy we have the lovely Ethan chatting to us! Ethan has been on a very expansive journey over the past three years. He's been on a huge path of personal development and spiritual growth - something that was really accelerated when he decided to leave the comfort of his hometown.

He turned to YouTube videos first, which helped him realise that there is more to life than what traditional society makes us believe. When he moved to the Mount, he joined a network marketing company and for the first time in his life, he had people around him that were consistently pushing him out of his comfort zone. He continued to explore and deepen his connection with himself which brings him to today, as a Men's Mental Health Coach. He currently runs six-week programs which help men truly connect with themselves and their purpose so they can go on to live a more fulfilling life.

Ethan has struggled with energy management in the past, especially with a physical job, and so we had a really epic chat about the importance of managing our energy commitments and how it's okay to not give our ALL to work. Often people give all their energy to their day job leaving them feeling depleted for activities outside of work that truly set their souls on fire. We dive deep into feminine versus masculine and how we can find a better balance between these two energies.

Again, such a multi-faceted conversation that I know you all will love!

I am very excited to bring you my very first couple interview! Shae & Daniel are both so driven to creating a life of freedom and impact. They got a taste of this lifestyle during their travels to Europe in 2020 and their whole perspective of what life could be completely shifted.

Because their travels got cut short due to Covid, they returned to home in Aussie and started the grind, or Against the Grind, as they call it - an online space where they document their journey of starting their own digital business in an effort to ditch the 9-5 and get back to experiencing the world!

This chat is a dynamic one - we chat about how to escape the traditional path school steers you on, what travel can teach you that school can't and so much more about big visions and finding your passion and purpose. It was great to get the perspectives of both of them and how they're individually and jointly working towards their dream life.

I am so incredibly humbled to bring you this episode with my soul sister on the other side of the world! Amanda and I connected via the gram and ever since then we've had such a deep and beautiful bond.

Amanda is such a beautiful shining light who has been on her own transformational journey of coming home to herself. Now she's here to help light others up so that they can find their true calling through their own awakening. This chat is very multi-faceted but a common theme that stuck out was that in order to live a fulfilled life we all need to learn how to take the first step. Our soul is always calling us to where we need to go and if we choose to continue to listen to society's expectations and distractions then we'll never become who we truly are meant to be.

Join us in this ep as we help you uncover how you can feel the fear and still take the leap! We promise you what's on the other side is exactly what your soul desires.

Hi beautiful humans! Welcome to the first guest ep of 2022 - you've heard her before and she's back again! Johnelle was one of my first ever guests back in August 2020 so I am sure you can imagine the growth and expansion she's had since then.

If you wanna listen to her first ep click here!!

As the lead Coach and Founder of Girls Get HQ I really wanted to tap into Johnelle's knowledge surrounding the importance of self-confidence, we always hear about how we should be confident and back ourselves but I haven't really heard the conversation on why this is so important for our personal growth and development!

We also had a good chat about goals and how to stay on top of them, especially if you're someone that plans plans plans and never takes action! This ep will give you a good kick up the bum to take that leap of faith!

Well done for surviving another 12 months 😝🥳

Before you jump into creating for 2022, let's reflect on the last 12 magical months!

Our final episode of the year provides you with some journal prompts to reflect on 2021:

  1. What has brought you joy this year?

  2. What are the breakdowns or challenges you've experienced this year?

  3. And what are the lessons you've learned from those challenges?

  4. What are you leaving behind in 2021?

Simple questions that will help you reveal where you are so that you know where you want to be. 😍😍😍

In the second half of the episode I take you through my own reflection for 2021, hopefully by me being vulnerable I encourage you to do the same.

Hormone imbalances are so common in the 21st century because of the stress we are exposed to. Stress isn't just emotional, it can be physical too, from junk food, lack of exercise, over-working, under-eating, lack of sleep and so much more!

It's getting much harder to live a balanced and healthy lifestyle with all this pressure. That's why I've brought on Storm in this week's ep, a functional naturopathist, and herbalist.

I did Storm's Hormone Course a couple of months ago and I was stunned by what I didn't know about my body! As a female, I didn't how much our monthly cycle influences how we should be operating in society to optimize our hormones and energy.

This ep is jam-packed full of golden nuggets!

What is your relationship with stress? Do you avoid it? Is it present in your everyday life? Does it fuel you to get things done or does it mentally drain and exhaust you?

Excess stress is the norm in the 21st century, and we're generally led to believe that it is bad for our physical health, but what if it was actually this belief that is deteriorating us?

In this ep, I explain what stress is, not just emotional stress but also the stress we cause our bodies and minds through what we eat and the information we consume. Then I answer the question of whether our perspective of stress can determine how it interacts with our health.

Hiiiii, as a VERY emotional being I wanted to look into whether my emotions were in check to determine if I go through life reacting emotively or rationally. What I found was that I have a lot of work to do haha.

In this ep, we look into the five components of emotional intelligence and what you can do to improve each of them;

  • Self-awareness.
  • Self-regulation.
  • Motivation.
  • Empathy.
  • Social skills.

Emotions are inevitable, we're human right? However, it's important to learn how to not interact when you're a hothead, that never ends well. I am so excited for you to listen to this ep so you can integrate the art of being emotionally intelligent into your life.

The 40-hour workweek is an 87-year-old concept that hasn't changed one bit since its inception! Recently there has been a big shift in employee expectations, mainly fuelled by millennials in the workforce. I have been hearing the words "The Great Resignation" on social media this year which is where people are calling it quits on their jobs to pursue their own gigs! We love to see it!

We are seeing more requests to work from home, work four 10 hour days, or do a 32 hour week. We are at a pivotal point in history where life outside of work is significantly valued, most of us young ones understand that we work so that we can live, not the other way round!

In this ep, I chat about the history of the 40-hour workweek and whether it is still an effective model today, then we dive into some common alternative working options. I finish off by talking a bit about my own experience of negotiating a 32-hour workweek in my job and why it was so important to me that I secured this.

I brought Toby onto the show to talk about how he started his two businesses that both have a strong focus on sustainable development and circular economy and I was pleasantly surprised when the conversation took a turn into discussing men's mental health!

Toby has always had the entrepreneurial bone so I wasn't surprised to hear he ran a successful repair business whilst studying at uni. He then managed to fit in a year-long overseas trip before landing back in NZ just before the pandemic hit.

When his job in the tourism industry naturally ended, he put all his focus into launching Mutu, a peer-to-peer marketplace that enables you to rent/lend items you have around your house. As the conversation progressed, Toby and I found ourselves chatting about self-care and development, his mental health journey, and how he has really benefitted from a local initiative - Man Cave, Men's Circles that create a safe space for support.

As if running Mutu wasn't enough, Toby and his team have also recently launched MenuAid a meal inspiration and recipe website, solving the what's for dinner dilemma!

I can't wait for you to soak up the juiciness from this inspiring young man!

I am super excited to bring you this valuable ep about brain waves and how they are influenced by our outer world. Please note I am no brain scientist, all concepts in this ep were derived from Dr. Joe Dispenza's book - How to Break the Habit of Being Yourself.

I introduce the ep with a bit of a chat about the different brain waves (Beta, Theta, Alpha, etc) and then I dive a bit deeper into how our brain waves develop from the minute we're born until we reach adulthood. It is so fascinating to think that a certain life event will affect us differently depending on what age we are and how much our brain has developed.

I hope you guys are as intrigued about the brain as I am!

We chat about how Tayla has built the confidence to make bold life decisions on the spot, if she wants to move somewhere she does it, and makes it happen without thinking about all the "what if's".

We then hear about how Tayla's personal development journey started from the age of 10 when she picked up her first "self-help" book. Tayla is the creator behind the Piggyback Club which aims to make self-development more relevant and relatable for young people.

What if losing your job was the best thing that ever happened to you?

To the outside world, Kendall appeared to have it all, the high paying corporate job, bustling social life and busy lifestyle but inside, she was crumbling. Kendall was completely out of alignment (but didn't know this at the time) and it showed, she had crippling anxiety and depression.

Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?) Kendall lost her job due to Covid-19 which accelerated her spiritual awakening journey, she invested in a coach and over the course of six months completely transformed her life. Her redundancy allowed her to spend 2020 investing time, energy, money and love into herself, something she had never done before.

Kendall is now a Certified Women's Life Coach and Holistic Health Coach whose mission is to guide women towards rediscovering their true self.

This week I learnt that it is okay (and probably normal) to fall out of love with your business. When you first start a project there is so much excitement and sparkle within everything you do. There is also an element of anticipation as you wonder how successful your new business or project will be.

It's new, it's fresh, of course, you're going to be hyped! Everyone always talks about these highs in entrepreneurship, but people rarely talk about the times when you lose motivation, when you doubt your business and your product, when you want to give up and wish you never entered entrepreneurship because it's bloody hard work!

You start to think if you can't believe in your business no one can. Until recently, I didn't allow myself to validate these feelings because I thought I wasn't "allowed" to feel this way because it was my business, my baby.

But I'm human and this is all part of the experience, to ride the wave of entrepreneurship and pick up everything you can learn along the way.

I hope you enjoy this ep of me unpacking what it means to fall out of love with your business and how I plan to navigate it.

At 22 and 24 we bought our first home, the start of our property investment portfolio. In 2019, we enrolled in a Money Management Course which taught us basic financial literacy skills, this course combined with a Rich Dad Poor Dad Property Seminar had us set for the property market!

Daniel and I are both very passionate about property as a wealth creation vehicle, in this episode we chat about Kiwisaver, Mortgage Brokers, Budgeting and researching the market. We are so excited to share what we learnt with you and we hope by sharing our experience you are able to take away some tips for your own path towards getting on the property ladder!

Hear from Hannah Macdonald as she dives deep into her mental health journey and shares her story of releasing her belief of ten years that she wanted to be a lawyer. She has just finished studying a degree in law and marketing but she won't be pursuing it, instead, she's following what actually lights her soul on fire.   If you're currently studying or in a job that is related to your degree but it just doesn't align with you anymore then you need to hear how Han broke this identity that she and those close to her had put her in. When you've invested some much time and money into a career path that doesn't align with you anymore, you need to be willing to have the hard conversations with those around you so that you can authentically live your true aligned purpose - this ep provides so so many gems for this!!  Han's Links  https://www.instagram.com/miss.hanmac/ https://www.instagram.com/love_outof_lemons/ https://www.instagram.com/ripplecreations_nz/ Chat with us: https://www.instagram.com/florescence.podcast/ https://www.facebook.com/florescencepodcast Intro & Outro Music: https://www.audiolibrary.com.co/loxbeats

Wow wow wow this episode is full of high energy and good vibes! Lourissa always knew she would be destined for greatness and was going to earn an abundant income. When she started watching the clock tick at her 9-5 job and seeing older people live this life she knew it wasn't for her. She started out in network marketing where she was introduced to the world of personal development and earning $$ online, however, she was still trading so many hours for a small commission cheque, now she lives a life of freedom and choice through the online business she is now involved in and earns over 6 figures!!

Ok yes this episode is long BUT it is the PERFECT place to start to learn all about the history of plastic, and its single-use, and the social and environmental impact behind it! I learnt so so much from Hugh and I know you will to! Hugh left his comfortable career in media to pursue a path of environmentalism! He hosts his own podcast, Return to Sender, which means putting the responsibility of the cost to the environment and our health on the manufacturers and producers so they can sort their sh*t out! This is a very in-depth chat about plastic with a dash of advice on how to leave your career to pursue your passion!  ENJOY!

Kiesha is the ultimate champion for young people. She is the product of teen parents, was put into the foster-care system at eleven years old, got kicked out of high school and became a teen mother. She had the odds stacked against her and she still chose to be an opportunist and got SH*T done, buying her first house at 22 and graduating from uni at 27! She had three champions in her life growing up that have played a significant part in her development journey and now she wants to be THAT PERSON for other young people! Kiesha is living proof that life is definitely what you make it!

I remind you that there is power in the collective, there's more impact in one million of us doing this imperfectly than one of us doing it perfectly! Welcome to the second ep! I talk about the pressure of hustle culture & why it is so present among young people and what it means for us in different situations from full-time study to a full-time job to the side hustle life! I dive into my own experience of the 24/7 grind and how this impacted me mentally & physically.

I provide you with some guidance around how to create a balanced lifestyle whilst creating space to hustle your way to the top (financial freedom, the degree, the corporate ladder). Working hard is epic and so rewarding, but only when it doesn't compromise your health.
