The fear of the Lord isn't simply something we understand; it's a posture we choose. That choice doesn't happen in dramatic moments. It happens in ordinary, everyday life. It happens when we're deciding whether to trust God's wisdom or our own.
Our Bodies, God’s Home. He wants a wholesome home. When it comes to our relationship with bodies, our culture and Christianity send mixed messages. How are we to view and treat our bodies?
The goal isn't simply to know that God loves you. It's to become so rooted in His love that it becomes the lens through which you interpret everything else. Then, when the waiting continues, when the diagnosis hasn't changed, when the relationship still needs healing, when the answer is delayed, you don't conclude that God has abandoned you.
Healing isn’t always as simple as treating or praying for a symptom. Sometimes, Jesus is restoring something deeper. We need to understand that people aren’t made up of disconnected and unrelated parts. We were created by God to be amazingly integrated beings. As we will discover today, God’s design was fractured by sin and that is what makes His plan for salvation, restoration, and wholeness so vital. It also means before we can understand healing, we first have to understand what Jesus actually accomplished on the cross. What did He come to restore?
God wants His people to participate with Him in bringing wholeness to the world. Through studying scripture, telling testimonies, and pulling from his decades of experience, Happy shares his tips and wisdom on the topic of healing.
Have you ever prayed for something, and it didn't happen? Maybe a breakthrough, and you’re still waiting? Maybe you obeyed God, did what He asked you to do, and still ended up disappointed? What do you do in the waiting, when life doesn't unfold the way you hoped?
Jon shares a special Father's Day message about healing and faith. Through scripture and stories of faith and miraculous healings, we are encouraged to boldy engage our faith, expectation, and trust with our loving Father and Healer.
We don't want us to think about healing and wholeness as something reserved for a few special people or a few dramatic moments. We have been built to encounter His love, experience His transforming power, and then learn how to extend the miraculous to those around us. This is our mission, as a church! As Christians, we are called to partner with the love and power of Jesus in a broken world. Part of that invitation is to give away what we have received. So this awakening is two-fold – healing for us, and healing through us. In the same way that doctors practice medicine and lawyers practice law, Christians are invited to practice healing. We like to say it this way – What God does in you, He wants to do through you!

The awakened life is not the life of someone who never fails. It is the life of someone who keeps returning to Jesus. When the Holy Spirit convicts us, we come into the light. There we discover what David discovered: the mercy of God is greater than our worst failure. Jesus did not save us merely so we could avoid judgment someday. He saved us to awaken us to life with Him right now. This life isn’t about sin avoidance, it’s about SON awareness. The Son of God, Jesus, is where we fix our attention.
Awakened people reorder their lives around God’s Presence. We often want God’s blessing, power, or help without truly re-centering our lives around His presence. We instinctively build our lives around protecting ourselves, while awakened people learn to build their lives around God’s presence.
Saul’s life teaches us powerful lessons about the connection between character and calling, God’s desire for trust and obedience over control and outward religious activity, and how our response to correction can shape the direction of our lives.
Through every season/role/situation in life, God is faithful to redeem. His plans are part of a greater and more beautiful story. God sees; God saves.
If Jesus broke the power of sin, why do I still find myself stuck in the same cycles and patterns? Senior Pastor Mike Yoder shares how freedom comes by letting Jesus renew our minds to come awaken to the habitation of the Holy Spirit.
Have you ever found yourself stuck in a negative cycle or destructive pattern of turning away from God, coming back, and then falling right back into sin again? This is the human story, and it’s what we see in the book of Judges. Senior Pastor Julie Yoder shares how breaking cycles and patterns begins with the Holy Spirit.
God is for each of us. He created us with a destiny, and He wants to awaken that in our lives. Within the family context, God will do it differently in each individual, all for the good of the community The story of Caleb’s destiny and its fulfillment provides a great example. Awakened unto life at a young age, he was still on fire at 85 and beyond. Our goal is to live this kind of awakened life for ourselves as we play our part in the greater community.

Because it can determine how one sees the world around them, the heart is very important. With the help and love of Jesus, we can guard our hearts and choose to walk in love and forgiveness not judgement and bitterness.

When we look at the history, we can see how God has always used water to awaken His people. And over the last year, we’ve seen that happen in an incredible way as baptisms have multiplied in a way that we could have never seen coming.
There are many ways to pray. Sometimes it's in your own words. Sometimes it's quiet listening. Sometimes it's praying in the Spirit, and sometimes it's letting Scripture give you the words.
What matters most is choosing a time and a rhythm that fits your life. It could be in the morning, on the drive to work, over lunch, in the evening, or on a walk. Consistency matters more than length. When we return to God regularly, prayer becomes less about effort and more about relationship.
Awakening begins when God opens our eyes to what we could not see on our own. Dr. Charles Montgomery of Vineyard USA shares an inspiring message of how Gideon overcame in spite of the odds, because he was awakened to the goodness of God.

Jesus was the God-man who came to the field called Earth. Jesus came seeking us. Jesus found us, human beings made in His image, and He was overjoyed at this immense treasure of buried sons and daughters, dirtied by sin, but precious in His sight.
He knew we were so precious, so valuable, that He would give up all, even His own life, in exchange for us.The price He paid was His own blood to take away the sin of the whole world. He did all the giving up, all the hard work. He made the supreme sacrifice so we could have a restored relationship with Him.
We are precious pearls to Jesus, a hidden treasure worth His all to.

The divine disruption of revival is an invitation to trust His mission, surrender control, and live fully alive in His Spirit.
Saying “yes” to Jesus is the ultimate divine disruption, it breaks the bondage of sin and redirects the whole course of our lives. When revival comes, when the Spirit moves, He disrupts the power of darkness. People are healed, set free, and delivered into the life God intended for them.
While being generous with our money is a rebellious act against our greedy culture, it is entirely in alignment with the Kingdom of God. When our intentional giving, our generosity, flows from an understanding of God’s plan and His empowering grace, it leads to an abundant life.

So often we can be consumed with the problem, pain and panic of our lives that we can slip into the me-centered mindset where God is calling us back to a Him-centered worship. In Revelation, John was looking for a strong lion, but what he saw was a slaughtered lamb. As Christians we can often get confused and want God to make a difference like a roaring lion. Clay explains that just like Jesus we can live bold like a lion but to have the victories Jesus did, need to couple it with the humility of a lamb. When we take our eyes off of ourselves and focus on the Heavenly Father, we can begin to live out that true humility that God has call us to live in.
We often find ourselves stuck in the law of the Old Testament. We have failed to fully comprehend the New Covenant. We forget that grace is free but instead settle for just “getting by”. We end up living with some law and some grace, leaving us to lead a lukewarm life. Ultimately, grace is the way to enjoy Jesus to the fullest.
We can find ourselves seeking significance from what we do and fall into the mentality of doing things out of works and not in the knowledge that we are surrounded by God’s grace. In these situations our motives matter. Why do we do what we do and where is that coming from? We can lose touch of the fact that Jesus knows us in way that we can’t even comprehend. Jesus doesn’t just have the answer, He is the answer.
Putty unpacks how the letters to the seven churches in Revelation can reflect our relationship with God. Putty explains that God gently shows us areas in our lives that we are in bondage, but He also shows us that we are not alone in the fight. God has set us free and given us His authority. He will bring us back to Himself and bring us from bondage back into the authority He has given us.
When looking more closely at the book of Revelation, we can see that there is a lot to gleam from its pages. It can show us a fuller picture of Jesus and the freedom He can bring, specifically when we encounter problems in our day to day lives. While looking through the letters written to the seven churches in Asia, we catch onto a pattern that we can live by. Jesus shows us a picture of who He is, lovingly shows us the problem of what we are dealing with, and then shares the solution and how to partner with Him to make it happen.

People often approach the book of Revelation in fear and are often trying to expose the anti-christ rather than encounter the Living Christ. Revelation can be confusing and it can be difficult to grasp everything happening within its pages. The good news is that we can ask Holy Spirit to give us “ears to hear,” and He will indeed unveil Jesus Christ while we navigate through the complexities of this book.
We love others because He first loved us, and God’s love will fuel us in everyday encounters. Any discussions that pull us away for loving like Christ are meaningless distractions. The Holy Spirit will empower us to press in for more.
It’s easy to see the natural part of our lives, so how do we lean in and live out a naturally supernatural life? As we look closer at the Triune Gospel we can understand the framework of how we live that kind of life. We can ask the Father, our dad, how to live out this life. He has called us His own. We are defined by what He has called us, free of sin and death. We embrace learning as we go; let us do what we see the Father doing.
Discovering the purpose for which we were created is a personal and nuanced journey. It forces us to ask tough questions like.. Why am I here? What was I made for? How do I know if what I’m doing is the right thing? God has designed you for destiny and we discover ours as we embrace the Holy Spirit. Encountering the Spirit allows us to embrace the doing of our destiny.
Many of us struggle with our inner monologue and are believing lies from the father of lies, Satan. Leah encourages us that there is another way of living. We can BE confident in who God made us to be. Naturally Supernatural Disciples know their identity when they come into agreement with who Jesus says they are. They are defined by Jesus, not their circumstances.
Putty answers practical questions about how our relationship with God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit give us a roadmap to encounter.
When our sense of belonging is called into question.. what then? As Brandon dives deeper into that question, he discovers that in our relationship with the Father, belonging is not conditional. Jesus as a human, models belonging which involves vulnerability with the Father. True belonging is not hinged on outside influences. Whatever you are facing, Jesus teaches that belonging is reliable. We can be rooted in that. “Abba, I belong to you.”
Putty explains that Christianity is relational first. How we relate to the trinity is key to how we function as a Christian. As we walk out what it means to Belong, Be and Do it is directly tied into our relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
As we anticipate what this year will look like, we can hold hope in our hearts. We can look forward to partnering with Holy Spirit and experience everyday encounters with Him. The genealogy of Christ can often be over looked when reading His story. Julie shows us how it's not just His story, but has become ours. We are adopted into His genealogy when we become one with Him. We have a new heritage that we now have access to.
This year has been less than predictable which can leave us feeling scared and confused. When things are confusing, we can trust the big picture to God and focus on walking in trust and dependency.
Dianne encourages us not to waste the wait. God's timing is perfect but it is messy. Trusting and waiting on the Lord can feel against out nature because rushing is so apart of our culture. When we change the posture of our heart to wait with God instead of on God, He will impart patience in the waiting.
As citizens of Heaven we are called to have the same fruit as Jesus. When we take a closer look at what is pouring into our lives we can discover what is pouring out. We can partner with Holy Spirit to give us Kingdom perspective on what our focus should be.
In this Covid season it can feel extremely isolating and this can lead to the lies of the enemy sneaking in. These lies can be hard to ignore when others aren't able to speak life into your life. Our old sinful self is dead and we are now empowered to steward our thought life with the partnership of the Holy Spirit. Clay shares how we as new creations can lean into our new way of thinking.
When you are weary and tired of carrying the burdens of the year, the month, the day, the best place to run is Jesus. See, we often take on things that we are not intended to carry. What you carry affects your mindset, momentum and mission. What keeps you from moving forward? What are you packing on our journey that is weighing you down? What is keeping you exhausted? Jim Plank has trees on his farm that are over 70 feet tall and 70 feet across with trunks that are more than 6 feet thick. If these trees could talk, they would tell you amazing stories, as they were likely there before this part of the country was developed. Year after year, They endured high winds and all kinds of threats. Suddenly, about 4 years ago, one tree began to die. Putty reminds us that our reality can and should be rooted in the Kingdom of Heaven. The tension we feel is something to press into instead of run from. We have an opportunity as believers to use the input we have into our political process to help our political system get filled up with God.
Samuel shows us what reckless forgiveness truly means in telling his personal testimony. He shows us how forgiveness gives us freedom, perspective, and authority.
Leah dives deep to unpack what Reckless Love truly means. It means to bless without thinking about the consequences. It’s the kind of love that blesses instead of curses. Let yourself be so rooted in love, judgement isn’t your default. We can love how Jesus loves because we have experienced His love He has so selflessly poured out over us.
Our influence goes far beyond what we realize in the moment. What will you do when you feel wronged by someone? Will you tear them down or will you chose to be the light in there life? Curtis shows us that we can look to the Father for strength bless instead of curse.
Brandon explains that loving your neighbor means more than just loving the ones who walk, talk and act like you. Jesus goes out of His way to love the unloved. There is an unbreakable bond between loving God and loving your neighbor.
Julie gently reminds us of Jesus’ command, to love our enemies. In times like these is can be hard to know how to love our enemies. Our differences in opinions with others are becoming harder and harder to ignore. God is not asking us to ignore these differences but instead, make a consious decision die to ourselves and to love them with His love.

Happy invites us to take a deep look at who God is and who we are in result of who He is. When we do this we start to be reminded of God's promises and how faithful He has been and will be.

In these days, we are surrounded by voices wether it be on TV, Social Media, Podcasts and many other places, it can be a bit overwhelming when trying to find the truth. As God’s sheep it can sometimes be difficult to discern which voice is our Shepherd. The more we listen WITH Jesus the easier it gets to discern His voice.
Often times we can associate obedience as something negative. There is risk involved, uncomfortability, even humility. Obedience often times goes against what we “feel” like doing. As founding Pastor Happy Leman leaned in to obey the Father, he saw great fruit from it. He saw his and Dianne’s lives transformed; a church was born; and many other people’s lives changed in ways they never would have expected. When we obey, God it doesn’t just affect the present, it can shift eternity.
Our Father is our teacher and He delights when we ask Him things. As humans, we can get impatient when we don’t see the full picture. It is often because we can’t fathom the goodness He has in store for us next. So when we ask Him questions, we can begin to see through the lens He gives us.
Senior Pastor Julie Yoder unpacks what it means to be a branch on the Lord’s vine. When we ask God to remove the things that are not bearing fruit in our lives, He can start the process of pruning. Although pruning is painful, overtime we become more reliant on the vine (God) for nutrients and we begin to regrow. Our regrowth means we can bear the fruit of the Spirit and no longer hold onto the things that hinder us and our relationship with Him.
How often do we live by what we feel and let our emotions sit in the “driver seat” without choosing to be wise and ask Holy Spirit to help us make decisions and process our feelings? Executive Pastor Leah Wenger explains how so many times we let the world’s voice speak louder than Holy Spirit’s. When we live by our feelings, not only are we letting the world influence our minds but we lose our peace. Leah invites us to ask Holy Spirit to “show us what we cannot see” and to “renew of our minds” so we can start living in the Heavenly Father’s reality.
Often times we can have false labels, false beliefs about ourselves & intimacy with God. At times, we can become unmotivated because the reward doesn’t seem to be within view. Worship and prayer are not the outcome. They are the process of setting everything aside, including the false labels we carry in order to draw near to the Father. God’s Presence is attracted to authenticity. When we get real with Him, it lowers the boundary we are holding between us and God. He is eagerly waiting on the other side to embrace us without condemnation.
When we begin to live as a new creation sometimes our old habits stick around. God wants to help us live in the reality of our new identity, which means laying those habits down. This good news is we don’t have to do this in our own strength. Founding Pastor Dianne Leman shares her own struggles and victories with her old habits. Pastor Clay Harrington explains that even in the waiting we can experience joy. When we search for joy, Jesus is inviting us into trust and expectation of what He will do next. We can that we don’t have to understand the ‘why’ but rather be obedient to the ‘what’. Joy is trust and expectation, settled in the goodness of God.
Senior Pastor Putty Putman explains that we don’t just say yes to doing something, we say yes to joining someone, and that someone is the Prince of Peace. Ask God where His presence is and what His provision is on the other side of the invitation. We don’t have to find peace before we say yes to His invitation. We can find peace in ‘yes’.
Founding Pastor Dianne Leman, walks us through how a daily ‘Yes’ to the Holy Spirit’s nudge can bring so much life. Jesus’ ‘Yes’ to becoming a human and dying for our sins, makes our ‘Yes’ to the Holy Spirit’s nudges possible. He rescued us, redeemed us and now invites us in the dance of life with the Trinity.
There are so many challenges facing education! How do we bring change to a broken system? Julie addresses the fact that it is crucial for each of us to be a part of the change in our schools. Whether that’s praying for the schools or volunteering your time, it is our responsibility to live like Jesus in our cities. Jesus is the teacher of truth and he has the answers to the problems of our world!
Does my work and business matter to God’s plan for our City? Senior Pastor Mike Yoder, expounds on the simple answer to this question many of us are asking. The Father’s heart is in the marketplace and our work, and He uses it to demonstrate His glory and further His Kingdom.
Leah Wenger explains how helping the poor can seem overwhelming; like we don’t know where to start. We sometimes allow our judgment to limit our generosity. Although, when we partner with God in defending the poor, we can change our cities. We defend the poor by seeing the one right in front of us, restoring dignity, and being sacrificially involved with the vulnerable.
Putty Putman explains how God calls us to be rebuilders of our cities. We can let God lead us as we rebuild our cities together. Putty shows us actions steps we can take to connect to the body, and connect to our cities.
National Director of Vineyard USA, Phil Strout joined us to celebrate the leadership transition of Mike and Julie Yoder as our new Senior Pastors. He shared about how he is excited for the future of our church and for the Vineyard Movement as a whole.
Daniel Goulet explains how hope rises when we listen to the voice of truth. When we build history with God, we silence the father of lies and we let the Voice of Truth define who we are. When we start living in this reality we can begin to know a whole new level of freedom.
Praise produces passionate patience in us! Julie Yoder explains “Today there is an opportunity for you to look at your situation and say, Father, I want you embrace this season with patience, I want to embrace your passionate patience as I shout praises even in the midst of my trouble.”
Many people just don’t know how to support others going through painful times. Clay’s message seeks to address that tension. He answers the questions why and how do we bear the load of another? How does hope rise when we feel hopeless?
Brandon gives us a deeper looking to how faith is not generated, it’s gifted. He explains that doubt is dynamic and how waiting doesn’t mean wandering. We often times have a misunderstanding of what faith is. We suppress our denial, our disappointment, or pain assuming that this is faith. Fake faith leads to control. But intentional waiting can lead to Kingdom in-breaking.
Dianne Leman addresses the problem of hopelessness. Hopelessness stems for the father of lies influencing how we are seeing the world and our daily situations. She shares that through the Holy Spirit we can have hope. We don’t have to mask our pain from the Father but we can focus on how He is loving us through it.
In this message Putty Putman shares about the authority we have in Christ which we can now use redemptively. One practical way we can begin to do this is, to posture our hearts in worship towards Him. “Worship empowers the spiritual realm.” (-Putty) Worship is not only a way to praise our Heavenly Father but it is also weapon we can weald against the enemy.
Clay Harrington walks us through some of the unseen dynamics between us and heavenly beings. He explains how we can glean wisdom of how to honor, and guard the presence of the Lord and also how further the work of the Kingdom. In order to partner with the Angels, we have to join the fight to advance the Kingdom of God. “The goal is to be apart of this Kingdom Collision.” -Clay Harrington
Mike explains “Spiritual darkness is real, it’s not just symbolic. We face a very real enemy, but that enemy is defeated.” Jesus has reclaimed the authority that was intended for us in the beginning. Through our union with Christ our authority is reestablished so we can return to the destiny God intended for us. “In Jesus, our relationship with God is restored, our identity is established and our destiny is determined.” -Mike Yoder We shall not be gripped by fear but walk in the power that has been given to us by the Holy Spirit.
Dianne gives us a further look into how we interact day to day with the supernatural. Although we are being influenced by rebel powers and authorities, we need keep in mind that when Jesus resurrected He regained reign over all the earth and gives us that same authority. Now we can step into this authority and begin to reclaim what was originally given to us in Eden.
Putty Putman kicked off our new series by suggesting that our worldview may be hindered by the ways society has tried to rationalize the spiritual. We are living in a world woven together by the natural and supernatural, so much so that it is quite impossible to separate the two. Putty reminds us that there is more happening than meets the eye. This “Kingdom Collision” will empower the impact the supernatural is making on our lives, and how we can begin using it to the advantage of the Kingdom.
Pray. Give. Go. Jim and Vicki Egli have been serving in missions for the last 30 years and are heavily involved in the development of the missional direction of our church. In our final Beyond Blessed message, they share how we can partner with them and other missions efforts around the world. Whether you pray for global missions efforts, give to support missionaries, or go on a missions trip, we all have the opportunity to see the tremendous and beautiful impact of the gospel around the world.
Happy Leman reflects to us how disheartening the news can be from all around the world. It’s easy to feel like there is no way we can personally help. However, when we aren’t personally able to leave our positions to participate in disaster relief, we can definitely support the people who do. Happy unpacks the different ways we can partner with those who are, in Vineyard terms, “Doing the Stuff” on site to change the world with Jesus.
Clay’s message explores THE HOW of financial stewardship. Many Christians are afraid to discuss money and miss out on learning ways to better steward the resources entrusted to them; thus in financial bondage! Let’s help set our people free!
Happy Leman unpacks God's role as the owner and our role as stewards. When we come to the understanding that stewardship takes faith we can release our tight grip of what we think is ours and partner in stewarding what is actually God's. Although this takes a high level of trust, we can know that when we walk in this, He promises provision and life to the fullest.
Julie Yoder walks us through some simple truths about our finances. She answers some burning questions we may have like “Can I trust God with my finances?” “Can He trust me?”. Some of us are living paycheck to paycheck, deep in debt. Often times, in our mind it can feel like the stress of it all is only growing. Julie leads the conversation of how God can give us wisdom and guide us on how to begin not only living a blessed life but a beyond blessed life in abundance.
Brandon takes us through the misconception of being abandoned by God During our suffering. We often feel that the trials in our lives are because of God’s judgment upon us or because He has abandoned us. He is not only with us during our suffering but has been through the ultimate suffering for us. The thorns in our sides are represented in the thorns on His head. Brandon explains that “Grace is not the absence of something; it is the presence of someone.”
Clay Harrington unpacks the dilemma of operating in pride verses humility. God gives us grace to lead but when we let the label of leadership go to our heads that’s when pride begins to cloud our judgment. When we realign our thoughts with His and begin to walk in humility, that’s when we reach our full potential as a leader.
Putty Putman takes us through a compelling comparison between our lives and the life of superhero Caption America. As Cap’s newfound powers and shield equip him for the battle he faces, our newfound grace also equips us for the fight and keeps us in the fight. Because of God’s grace we are no longer merely human. The sooner we start to believe that the better. We can be asking ourselves regularly what grace we need from God and simply just ask Him for it!
Mike Yoder, Senior Executive Pastor continues our series Marvel-ous by addressing the excuse of using grace as free pass to sin. He explains how we should instead use grace to be empowered to stop sinning. Jesus is alive and well. His life defines your new identity. As the person of Grace He rules over our life and empowers it for His purpose. Sin’s power is broken and defeated. Grace isn’t the tool that covers us, it’s the power that changes us. We can now be empowered by Grace Himself to live in our new identity as sons and daughters.
We need to choose daily dependence on Jesus whose name is Grace. Grace is a person, Jesus, who transforms and empowers us to be heroic through faith in Him. Cities are not hard to change, it just can’t be done from inside the church walls. The church is empowered by the Spirit to be a major change agent in our communities because the problems are spiritual and they do not have natural solutions alone. God’s Kingdom is about more than personal salvation, it also includes community change. Start asking the Holy Spirit what you are to do about this situation.

We want to do the Kingdom work, but if we are not grounded in relationship and identity, it will be sporadic at best. You can’t have one without the foundation of the other. Consistency will never be an issue when obedience is a way of life.

Pastor Julie Yoder shares about the Holy Spirit and even though there are times we feel inadequate or too busy; it is imperative to freely receive and freely give away what Holy Spirit prompts us to do. What is our first Christmas gift? It is the Presence of God; God with us, and God in us. We don’t know how to fully receive and enjoy this gift. Could we, just like Mary, respond with “may everything you say about me Lord come true” We want to be people who believe! Let’s be free from the weed of condemnation in our lives and view people as Jesus does, created in the image of God, of much worth and value.

Pastor Clay Harrington shares in our message series Rooted, the importance of rooting out competition in our life. We do not want to treat others as a threat and dismiss their fruitfulness in Christ. Instead, with the weed of competition rooted out; we are free to celebrate the successes of others and step into our destiny.
