In this episode of Becoming Reborn, Trav and Pat explore one of the most important conversations you can have with yourself: the way you speak to yourself.

We all have an inner voice, but too often it's our harshest critic. We replay mistakes, doubt our abilities, and say things to ourselves that we'd never say to someone we care about.

Trav shares a simple but powerful question that can change the way you think:

Would you say that to your child?

If you wouldn't speak those words to your son or daughter, why is it acceptable to say them to yourself?

He takes it one step further. Would you want your child to grow up speaking to themselves the way you speak to yourself?

The boys discuss how our self talk shapes our confidence, influences our actions, and becomes an example for the people around us, especially our children. They explore the importance of replacing self criticism with self respect, because the relationship you have with yourself impacts every other area of your life.

This episode is a reminder that your words matter, especially the ones no one else hears.

If your children were asked to describe you, what would they say?

In this episode of Becoming Reborn, Trav and Pat explore one of the most important roles we'll ever have, being a parent, and the responsibility that comes with leading by example.

Pat shares a powerful statistic showing that children with one fit and healthy parent are around three times more likely to grow up fit and healthy themselves. When both parents live a healthy lifestyle, that increases to nine times more likely. It's a reminder that our habits have a lasting impact on the people watching us every day.

Trav expands on that idea by explaining that looking after your health is about far more than your appearance. The discipline, consistency, and confidence built through training often flow into every other area of life, from your relationships and parenting to your career and business. When you take care of yourself, you put yourself in a better position to show up for the people who matter most.

Throughout the episode, the boys discuss why children learn more from what they see than what they're told, how small daily habits shape the next generation, and why becoming healthier isn't just an investment in yourself, it's an investment in your family.

Whether you're already a parent or hope to become one someday, this conversation will challenge you to think about the legacy you're creating through your everyday actions.

Why does motivation seem to disappear the moment the weather gets colder?

In this episode of Becoming Reborn, Trav and Pat tackle one of the biggest challenges people face every winter: staying consistent when it's cold, dark, and far easier to stay on the couch.

Pat shares a perspective that might not be for everyone. He believes we've become too comfortable. As a society, we've grown so used to convenience that even small amounts of discomfort can stop us from doing the things we know we should.

The boys reflect on how previous generations simply got on with life. They didn't wait for perfect conditions or rely on feeling motivated. They did what needed to be done, regardless of the weather or how they felt.

Throughout the episode, they discuss the difference between motivation and discipline, why winter is actually the best time to build lasting habits, and practical ways to keep showing up when you don't feel like it.

Whether you agree with Pat's take or not, this conversation will challenge the way you think about comfort, consistency, and what it really takes to create lasting change.

In this episode of Becoming Reborn, Trav and Pat sit down for an honest conversation about balancing the demands of training, family life, business, and being present through every season of life.

Pat shares a personal story from when his youngest was just six months old. Like many new parents, he was surviving on broken sleep, waking every couple of hours and wishing for just one uninterrupted night of rest.

Then he stopped and thought back to the day his wife showed him the ultrasound. He remembered the excitement, the gratitude, and how badly he wanted to become a dad. That moment gave him a completely different perspective.

He realised that while he was complaining about sleepless nights, there are people who would give anything to experience those same moments with a child of their own.

The boys explore how easy it is to lose perspective when life gets busy, and why gratitude often comes from remembering the things we once hoped and prayed for.

This episode is a reminder that every season brings its own challenges, but it also brings moments that one day we'll look back on and wish we had appreciated just a little more.

In this episode of Becoming Reborn, Trav and Pat dive into one of the biggest differences between people who feel in control of their week and those who constantly feel like they're chasing it.

The boys explain that winning the week isn't something that happens by chance—it happens by design. Success doesn't come from hoping the week goes well. It comes from planning for it before it even begins.

Trav shares his weekly planning process, starting with the key categories that matter most. By identifying the important areas of life and intentionally scheduling them first, he creates clarity, focus, and direction for the days ahead.

Pat discusses why so many people spend their lives reacting to their calendar instead of designing it. Without a plan, it's easy to let emails, meetings, and unexpected requests dictate your time. When you don't decide what's important first, someone else will.

Trav also highlights a simple but powerful lesson: if you don't set aside dedicated time to plan your week, it probably won't happen. The habit of planning is just as important as the plan itself.

This episode is packed with practical strategies to help you become more intentional with your time, reduce overwhelm, and create a week that aligns with your goals instead of reacting to everyone else's priorities.

What would you do differently if you had the chance to start from scratch?

In this episode of Becoming Reborn, Trav and Pat reflect on the biggest lessons they've learned throughout their journey and the advice they'd give themselves if they were starting again today.

Pat shares why he would document everything. Not just the wins, but the failures, setbacks and difficult moments too. In a world dominated by highlight reels, authenticity stands out. Taking ownership, being vulnerable, and sharing the lessons behind the losses builds trust and creates a genuine connection with people.

Trav explains why the first thing he would do is write down the vision. A clear vision becomes your north star, guiding every decision you make. It gives your team direction, creates alignment, and helps everyone understand how their role contributes to the bigger picture.

This episode is packed with practical advice for business owners, leaders, creators, and anyone starting something new. It's a reminder that success isn't just about working harder—it's about building with clarity, purpose, and authenticity from day one.

In this episode of Becoming Reborn, Trav and Pat challenge listeners to take a closer look at the habits, behaviours, and excuses they've accepted as normal, and ask one simple question: What are you tolerating?

The boys discuss how the standards we set for ourselves ultimately shape the life we live. Whether it's skipping training, constantly feeling tired, or putting our health last, what we continue to tolerate becomes our new normal.

Pat shares a powerful example of Barack Obama, who prioritised an hour of exercise every day despite having one of the busiest jobs in the world. It's a reminder that making time for your health is less about having time and more about making it a priority.

The conversation also explores the growing issue of poor sleep. Trav and Pat discuss why so many people believe feeling exhausted is just part of life, when in reality, long term sleep deprivation has simply become their baseline. They also share practical habits that have helped them improve their own recovery, including Pat's rule of keeping the TV out of the bedroom to create an environment that promotes qualit

Starting your fitness journey can be intimidating, especially if you've never stepped into a gym before. In this episode of Becoming Reborn, Trav and Pat break down the biggest mental barriers that stop people from getting started and how to overcome them.

One of the most common fears is the thought, "What will everyone think of me?" The boys explain why this fear is far more common than reality. Most people in the gym are focused on themselves, their own workout, and their own goals, not judging anyone else.

Trav and Pat also remind listeners that every confident gym member was once a beginner. Everyone has had a first session. Everyone has felt nervous. Everyone has walked through the doors wondering if they belonged.

This episode is all about building the confidence to take that first step, letting go of the fear of being judged, and understanding that consistency always starts with one session.

If you've been waiting for the right time to start, this conversation might be exactly what you need to hear.

In this episode of Becoming Reborn, the boys tackle a question that would have sounded crazy a few years ago — are gym challenges dead?

They reflect on how much the fitness industry has changed. There was a time when transformation challenges, fat loss competitions, and body composition goals were the main reason people joined gyms. Challenges were a huge part of the fitness journey for many people and played a major role in building motivation and accountability.

Today, the landscape looks very different. More people are training for external events and performance based goals. From HYROX and running events to endurance challenges and obstacle races, the focus has shifted from simply looking better to becoming more capable.

The conversation also explores a more controversial topic — the rise of peptides, GLP 1 medications, Ozempic and similar treatments. The boys discuss how these developments may be changing the way people approach weight loss, body composition, and fitness, and what that could mean for the future of the industry.

This episode is an honest discussion about where fitness has come from, where it's heading, and whether traditional gym challenges still have a place in today's world.

In this episode of Becoming Reborn, Pat Carr sits down with Reborn's Head of Programming, Dan Wagstaff, to discuss one of the toughest challenges any athlete or active person can face — injury.

Currently recovering from a ruptured Achilles, Dan shares the physical and mental challenges that come with having your routine disrupted and being forced to slow down. For someone who has spent years helping others improve their performance, it has been a powerful reminder of the importance of patience, perspective, and resilience.

The boys dive into how injuries can impact identity, motivation, and mental health, while exploring practical ways to stay positive and focused throughout the recovery process. They discuss the importance of controlling what you can control, finding opportunities for growth during setbacks, and maintaining a long term perspective when progress feels slow.

Whether you're currently injured, returning from a setback, or simply want to build a stronger mindset, this episode provides valuable insights into navigating adversity and coming back stronger.

Because sometimes the greatest growth doesn't happen when everything is going well — it happens when you're forced to adapt.

In this episode of Becoming Reborn, Trav and Pat unpack a truth that most people overlook — the boring stuff is usually what creates the biggest results

They dive into the power of routine, structure, and consistency, and why success is rarely built on motivation or big moments. Instead, it comes from the small things you do over and over again

Trav shares how creating structure and frameworks in your life actually gives you more freedom, not less. When you clearly define what you want to achieve and write it down, you remove uncertainty and gain focus. Instead of wasting energy constantly making decisions, you create a system that keeps you moving forward

The boys talk about why so many people avoid the basics because they seem too simple, when in reality those basics are what separate people who stay stuck from people who make real progress

This episode is a reminder that discipline, routines, and boring repetition are often the key to long term success in fitness, business, and life

In this episode of Becoming Reborn, Trav and Pat break down one of the most common challenges people face — feeling like there's never enough time

They challenge the idea that the solution is more hours in the day, and instead highlight that the real issue is a lack of structure

Trav shares a real life example with Chloe, showing how even in a busy household with constant demands, it's not about having more time — it's about how that time is organised. Without structure, everything feels rushed, reactive and overwhelming. With structure, you create clarity, control and consistency

The boys unpack how building simple routines, planning your week, and removing unnecessary decisions can completely change the way you approach your day

This episode is about taking ownership of your time, creating systems that support your lifestyle, and understanding that progress comes from structure, not more hours

In this episode of Becoming Reborn, Trav and Pat break down a mindset shift that can change everything — stop negotiating with yourself

They explore how so many people delay progress by constantly going back and forth on decisions. The internal conversation of "maybe later", "just this once", or "I'll start tomorrow" slowly chips away at consistency and results

Pat explains that every decision you make has an outcome. It can move you closer to where you want to be, or further away from it. And the reality is, no one else is controlling that direction — you are

This episode is about taking ownership, removing the hesitation, and understanding that your future is shaped by the decisions you make in the moment

No one else can do it for you No one else can change it for you

When you stop negotiating and start committing, everything shifts

This episode is about slowing down, being present, and recognising what actually matters beyond goals, success, and external wins

In this episode of Becoming Reborn, Trav and Dan Wagstaff dive into one of the most frustrating parts of any fitness journey — hitting a plateau

They unpack why progress can stall, even when you feel like you're doing everything right, and what actually needs to change to start moving forward again

Dan shares the often overlooked importance of rest and recovery, explaining that it's not a step backwards, but a critical part of growth. Without it, performance drops, motivation fades, and results slow down

The conversation also highlights the value of understanding your training. Every session is designed with intention, built from years of experience and knowledge. When you follow the program properly and understand why you're doing what you're doing, you give yourself the best chance to progress

This episode is about trusting the process, respecting recovery, and taking a smarter approach to training so you can break through plateaus and keep improving

In this episode of Becoming Reborn, Trav sit down with Head of Programming Dan Wagstaff to unpack what it really takes to get results in fitness, health and business

Dan shares his perspective on high performance and why it's not reserved for leaders, athletes or people in positions of authority. It's a mindset anyone can adopt. Wanting more for yourself, holding a higher standard, and consistently acting on it is what separates those who progress from those who stay stuck

The conversation then shifts into the reality of growth, especially in business. Trav breaks down one of the biggest misconceptions people have — expecting more wins than losses. In truth, progress comes through setbacks. Every loss is a lesson, every mistake is feedback, and each step forward is built on what you've learned along the way

This episode is a reminder that success isn't clean or linear. It's built through consistency, resilience, and the ability to keep moving forward when things don't go to plan

If you're chasing better results in any area of your life, this one will give you the mindset and perspective to stay in the game

Dan Wagstaff adds a unique point of view. Having only been around Trav for just over a year, he reflects on the time he closed his own gym and was offered a role at Reborn — and turned it down. At the time, his perception was different because he didn't truly know Trav. Now, after witnessing his growth and evolution as a leader, Dan speaks on how much that's changed, and why he now loves being part of the team

This episode is about growth, second chances, leadership, and the long term impact of choosing a better path

In this episode of Becoming Reborn, Trav and Pat unpack how the fitness industry has shifted over time and what that means for the way we train today

They reflect on the old approach to fitness, where most people were driven by aesthetics and focused purely on changing how they looked. While that still plays a role, the conversation has evolved

Now, more people are training for something deeper Better health More energy Longevity And the ability to show up in life at a higher level

Trav and Pat break down why this shift matters and how training with purpose leads to more sustainable results over time. When you focus on how you feel and how you function, the physical changes become a natural by product

This episode is a reminder to zoom out, rethink your "why", and build a relationship with training that lasts for life

In this episode of Becoming Reborn, Trav and Pat dive into one of the biggest challenges people face in fitness, business, and life — consistency.

They break down why most people struggle to stay consistent and why relying on motivation or pure willpower rarely works long term. Pat explains the concept of systems over willpower, highlighting how building simple routines and structures can remove the need to constantly make tough decisions. When the system is in place, showing up becomes automatic.

Trav shares a powerful personal perspective from his sobriety journey. Instead of constantly testing his willpower, he made the conscious choice to avoid environments that could pull him off track. By staying in his lane and building a life that supports his goals, he created a system that made the right choices easier to maintain.

This conversation is about simplifying the path to consistency, creating habits that support your lifestyle, and understanding that long term success is built on systems, not bursts of motivation.

In this episode of Becoming Reborn, Trav and Pat break down one of the most common challenges people face — how to train when you're tired, busy, and life feels chaotic.

They dive into why waiting for the "perfect time" to train doesn't work, and how momentum is built in the messy seasons — not the smooth ones.

Trav explains why the key is creating a routine that actually fits your lifestyle. Life will always throw curveballs.

The real discipline is built when things pop up and you still get the session done. Pat shares his practical advice for anyone starting fresh or getting back into it.

Instead of going all in and burning out, aim for three sessions a week.

In this episode of Becoming Reborn, Trav and Pat sit down to talk about the daily non-negotiables that keep them grounded, consistent, and moving forward — not just in training, but in life.

For Pat, it all comes down to one word: discipline.

While he's always been disciplined in the gym, he admits it doesn't come as naturally in other areas of life. That's exactly why discipline has become his daily standard. When faced with a decision — big or small — he falls back on that word. It gives him a framework to choose the path that builds long-term growth, not just short-term comfort.

For Trav, his non-negotiable is simple but powerful — training.

It's the first thing he does every morning, and the one thing he never skips. He can't even remember the last day he didn't train. That consistency creates momentum, clarity, and a level of discipline that bleeds into every part of his life, from business to family.

This episode is a reminder that success starts with the small things you do every day. When you set a standard and stick to it, everything changes.

In this episode of Becoming Reborn, Pat dives deep into the Business Mindset needed for 2026 — starting with one of the most powerful systems we use at Reborn: OKRs.

OKR stands for Objective and Key Result. Most people set a goal and stop there. But an objective without a measurable weekly action behind it is just a wish — and that's where the key result comes in.

For every 10 week block, the team sets a clear objective and then attaches a weekly key result that drives progress toward it. Every week, each staff member presents their

OKR result using our three-tier colour system:

  • Green for hitting the target
  • Orange for close
  • Red for missing it

If it's red, there's no hiding — you explain why, what went wrong, and what you're changing next week.

It's confronting at first, but it builds clarity, accountability, and real growth.

This episode breaks down how OKRs work, why they're so effective, and how you can use them to achieve your personal, fitness, and business goals in 2026.

Tune in — this mindset will change the way you operate.

In this episode of Becoming Reborn, Trav and Pat break down two of the biggest reasons people struggle to stay consistent — setting goals without systems, and overcomplicating daily decisions.

Trav shares why 90 percent of New Year's resolutions fail by February.

The problem isn't the goal — it's the lack of a system behind it.

You can set massive goals, but if there's no plan, no habits, no structure… it falls apart.

Pat backs it with a powerful James Clear quote:

"You don't rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your habits."

Then the conversation dives into lifestyle design — small shifts that lead to big results.

Pat explains how reducing decision fatigue is the key to long term consistency.

When you're constantly asking, "Should I train today?" or "What kind of session should I do?" you burn mental energy that could be used to just show up and get it done.

The answer? Build a system that's simple, repeatable, and part of your identity.

Make your habits automatic so you can stop thinking and start doing.

Elon Musk was on a podcast recently.

He was asked about jealousy.

“My mind is a storm. I don’t think most people would want to be me. They may think they would want to be me, but they don’t. They don’t know, they don’t understand.”

This is why jealousy is a stupid emotion.

Here’s Naval on jealousy:

“I realised that all these people that I was jealous of, I couldn’t just cherry-pick and choose little aspects of their life.

I couldn’t say I want his body, I want her money, I want his personality.

You have to be that person.

Do you want to actually be that person with all of their reactions, their desires, their family, their happiness level, their outlook on life, their self-image?

If you’re not willing to do a wholesale, 24/7, 100% swap with who that person is, then there is no point in being jealous.”

The price you’d need to pay to be the person you admire is probably one you would not foot the bill for.

Trav and Pat go throught their individual Routines.

Maintaining a consistent routine is key to achieving my health and fitness goals while ensuring a balanced life.

I strategically structure my week to accommodate regular training, prioritising tasks during my prime time (8am-12pm), and preparing for the upcoming week well in advance.

Furthermore, I diligently carve out quality time for my family and personal solitude, regardless of the demands of my schedule.

This systematic approach, focusing on the same activities at the same times each week, provides a predictable structure, fosters discipline, and propels me towards my goals while enhancing my relationships and personal wellbeing.

My Foundational Routine Elements:

Regular Sleep Pattern:

I maintain a consistent sleep schedule, going to bed and waking up at the same time every day.

Regular Exercise:

I prioritise fitness by setting a fixed schedule for training, which is typically the first activity I undertake each morning.

Time-Blocking:

I use the method of time-blocking to manage my tasks, allocating specific time slots for each task in my schedule.

Prioritisation:

I tackle my most challenging or energy-intensive tasks during my prime productivity hours, which are typically between 8 am and 12 pm.

Weekly Preparation:

I ensure a smooth week by planning and preparing for it in advance during the preceding week.

Consistency:

I maintain consistency in my routines, repeating the same activities every week. This helps me create habits and routines that support my productivity and wellness.

This a dangerous path as most people instagram pages only show the highlights which can make people question their own success. “Comparison is the Thief of joy”…

“I wish” and “Lucky”

These are two things I don’t like hearing people say… Lets start with “I wish”…

Examples of how this is used is “I wish I had that body”, “I wish I could get that car” or “I wish I had that much time”… and That person is just "lucky"...

We are all in control of OUR SELVES so rather than wish for it, we should work harder and/or smarter for it…

WORK FOR YOUR REST:

Work for your....NETFLIX.. Huh?...

  • I relate a lot of my day to day work to my training. - Often when training or running a EMOM (every minute on the minute) I yell “work for your rest”.

  • As with an EMOM you have to get X amount of reps completed within the minute and the faster you get it done the more rest you get before the minute ticks over and you rip back in.

  • I Literally did an EMOM this morning and I find that it's not only efficient but it always seems to get me working to my maximum ability.

  • And I apply the same format to my day to day life..

Let alone our current situation, where all kids are locked in for the majority of the day, save for maybe a walk or bike ride for an hour. Most of our mums are dealing with the pressures of running the house, cooking, never ending cleaning and dealing with the stress of their partners situation at work PLUS most of them also have their own work to get done as well. Now more then ever do you need routine...

  • If you are working from home at the moment this would be so foreign to you as you would used to schedule or being told what to do and when to do it...

  • Now it’s on you to create your schedule...

  • My head felt like it was going to fall off the first week of the shut down because I was completely out of routine and just being reactive to the situation...

  • But now the world has calmed down, we know what lays in front of us, we may not know for how long but you should have a grip on what your days should look like

Here are my tips to get into routine.

What I have noticed in the past 3 weeks of shut down is there seems to be 2 kinds of people. There are the people who are falling victim to the covid19 situation and there is people who are finding solutions and making the best out of a bad situation Now first of all I know how how serious this situation is and understand the effects it has had on everyone but this blog is about focusing on the solution not the problem. And to also switch attention PURELY to the things that WE CAN CONTROL. I feel the best way to look at this and to possibly change your mindset towards this situation is bring up a reading that I fell in love with a few years ago.

I was fortunate enough to spend a good chunk growing up with Boyd Cordner as he lives up the road from me. Boydy and His Brother Dane were like my brothers growing up, we did EVERYTHING together... After the boys moved back to old bar I didn’t get to see them much but every time I catch up we reminisce on the good times... Success is not easy to come by and by the time Boyd was 22 he had played first grade, won a premiership, play for his country and won a origin series... He had literally done it all... But He wasn’t done there... We go through all good and bad times leading up to now where Boydy is a back to back Origin winner and premiership winner...

Here is his story.

There is tough times ahead, there is no doubt about that...
-
BUT it doesn’t mean we give up and let our HEALTH deteriorate...
-
In these uncertain times we need to find routine and structure to keep us moving forward and accountable to getting through these times in a healthy manner ...
-
I’ll be sticking to a simple daily routine that I believe will not only help you get through this but help you improve your mental health, physical fitness and strengthen your confidence in yourself ...

Now more than ever it's important to have a healthy lifestyle. If there is just one thing to take out of this coronavirus, it is the importance of you taking care of yourself physically which in return will benefit your mental health. I'm going to start with my extremely biased opinion, which I know will ruffle some feathers, BUT this IS just my opinion because of my past failures and 12 years experience in the fitness industry. I think it's super sad that Australian Government considers GYMS non essential and a LIQUOR STORE is considered essential.

View Details

Its been a wild ride and its only been just over 2 weeks since the gym industry was rocked by immediate shut down. There was no surprise that it seemed like the whole world came crashing down on that day. Especially for myself being a gym owner. The future was now completely uncertain. The week before the shut down Reborn recorded its highest ever numbers, we had our highest  attendances with our member averaging over 4 sessions a week and you could just feel the energy bouncing off the walls EVERY SESSION. We were in a good place… no we were in a GREAT place. Reborn and I have always prided itself on its COMMUNITY. But there is no real way to measure how STRONG your community really is…. until now. This was the test of all test. Would our reborn Community be what we as trainers thought it was or was it all smoke and mirrors?

Environment.

I don’t believe that just My motivation, will power or mental toughness is the reason to me being able to achieve some success in my life. I believe it is the environments I CHOOSE to associate myself with and even more so the environments I CHOOSE NOT to associate with. You want success, start with priming your environments.

The 3 Golden Rules: The fitness industry can often seem overcomplicated, or you often know what you need to do, but get stuck on how to do it. To make things simple, at Reborn we have the 3 Golden Rules that you can apply to living a healthy lifestyle.  We keep it simple but we believe it is very effective...

  1. ALWAYS TRAIN MONDAY...

  2. NEVER MISS TWICE...

  3. TRAIN 4 DAYS A WEEK...

Keep it simple...

It's so important to know when to train and when not to…

You develop this knowledge from a consistent workout regime. Slowly you build up a high tolerance for any intense or endurance based sessions.

Knowing your body is crucial to getting into a solid routine of training. Now I understand that not everyone is like me where they are so dependent on their physical activity for general health, productivity and happiness but if you are I hope these tips I made for myself can help you have a more consistent training regime and help you understand when to train and when to pull back on the reigns. My advice: Listen to your body but don’t give in to the head noise. We all have the head noise of not wanting to train before some sessions (even me), but it's knowing when to listen to the BODY and not giving in to the HEAD NOISE....

These are just my thoughts and opinions on training; I do understand every BODY is different as what is easy for some may be difficult for others or vice versa. Go off your own knowledge of your body and if you don’t have any, there is only one way to find out… start training...

Recently I read the book ATOMIC HABITS by James Clear and it rocked my socks. So much so that I have also done a Podcast with Isaac John from YKTR on his podcast platform “THE ICE PROJECT” to share our delight in how good the book is. This is just a short and sharp podcast about what I took away from it aswell as Ice. The reason we loved it is how simple and effective the tools in the book were. I loved how you could literally action the systems TODAY, right now. Why am I talking about a book? Well I think everyone needs to understand how beneficial setting good habits can be but also how detrimental bad habits can be. Im going to keep it simple with what I learned, what am I implementing and my 3 favourite quotes from the book.

I wrote this Blog about negativity and just came across again. I wanted to share a negative situation that happened in my gym and how it affected me. Being positive in life is the only way to truly get the most out of your life. Life is way too short to worried and consumed about the little negative things in your life. Negativity will consume you and your ability to excel in life but the worst part about having a negative mindset is that you attract people who also have the same mind frame. Surround yourself with POSITIVE people that bring value you to your life otherwise you’ll constantly feel like you have an anchor tired to your ankle.

First of all what is an “AMRAP”?

AMRAP stands for "as many reps as possible" or "as many rounds as possible." It's a workout structure frequently used for conditioning that pushes your body to the max within a set period of time (anywhere from 3 minutes to 60 minutes). In this episode I talk to you about how you can get out as much as you can in life just like you should in a training session.

AMRAP mentality- You Get Out What You Put In.

Trust in the Process. “Never give up, great things take time” Something I have learnt in the past few years is to “trust in the process”. The first time I really heard this was in rehab in 2016. It didn’t mean too much to me at the time but within a couple months it became a little mantra for me and still to this day I remind myself when things can get bit overwhelming and hard. if its success you’re after all you have to do identify the 3-4 CRITICAL task that you have to complete CONSISTENTLY to achieve the result you are after. You have hold yourself to a level of standard that is going to be great enough to get you to where you need. Set boundaries, make promises to yourself and commit 100%. If you can do that daily, its then all about TRUSTING THE PROCESS.

If you want to achieve a healthy lifestyle or perfect a skill it is simple: be consistent in your healthy lifestyle choices and put in the reps. Be persistent in taking steps every day towards hitting your goals. If you develop these 2 traits you will get in a routine creating structure, which in turn opens up more room for more goals as the steps you were taking to achieve your healthy lifestyle now become a habit. I like to call these habits as the pillars of your life. They keep your house up and in structure. Consistency + Persistence + Routine = Healthy Lifestyle They say is takes 10,000 reps acquire a skill and that’s what consistency is. Putting rep on top of rep. It all starts with consistency.
