How to take a prayer retreat:
1. Set a time to go away** for two days at least. Don't retreat in your home or office.
2. Pray in preparation for your retreat.
3. Once at your retreat:
a. Repent your sins.
b. Thankfully review the things God is doing.
c. Submit to God's Plan for you.
d. Devour the Word and take notes.
e. Listen and take note of what God says to you.
f. Write down your questions and concerns and present them to God.
*Most important: you are going, to get away from distractions. So turn your phone off, keep the tv off, etc. Also, take good notes!
It used to be if you admitted you were lonely then somehow you were either weak or some kind of outcast. Loneliness is having its moment right now. Post-pandemic everyone's talking about it.
