Apathy teams up with fellow bully-rap icons M.O.P. and his Demigodz brethren, Celph Titled to “STOMP RAPPERS” like Godzilla on the tough-as-nails new single off Ap’s sixth studio LP, 'The Widow’s Son,' due out next Friday, March 2nd!
While other tracks on the album may require a few repeated listens to unpack more layered wordplay, “Stomp Rappers” is refreshingly to the point. This is a no-nonsense banger driven by its chest-pounding beat produced by Apathy himself, with Chumzilla providing the high energy scratch chorus.
Ap also sets the track off with a verse packed to the brim with vivid imagery and head-spinning internal rhymes—the perfect alley-oop to his like-minded cohorts. Celph scales skyscrapers and picks lesser emcees off the bottom of his boots, while M.O.P. “squeeze a tool at a rapper like Capri Sun” and “leave a mess where your nana tatted at.” In other words, they’re fcking sht up, and we as listeners get to reap all the benefits.

Apathy is back on his bad-guy shit with his latest single, “The Order,” which is a feast of battle raps and wild wordplay produced by living Hip-Hop legend DJ Premier.
“The Order” is another banger off Apathy’s forthcoming sixth studio LP, 'The Widow’s Son,' which also includes the Pharoahe Monch-featuring, Pete Rock-produced “I Keep On” and the Nottz-produced “Alien Weaponry.” And while those tracks featured plenty of unhinged bars from the Demigodz emcee, he’s especially on one over the neck-snapping drums and piano-laced production, courtesy of Preem.
This joint features quotable after quotable from Apathy, whose writing somehow gets even sharper with each subsequent release. We’re talking lines like, “Won’t go on Flex, he can’t handle me flowin’/ F*ck a bomb, get the sound of a planet explodin’,” and “I move like a ninja do, especially in Pumas/ Sittin’ next to Jesus, starin’ skeptically at Judas.” And of course, it’s all delivered with his trademark, unmistakable flow.

Apathy connects with two living Hip-Hop legends on “I Keep On,” which boasts towering bars from Pharoahe Monch with soulful, neck-snapping production supplied by The Chocolate Boy Wonder, Pete Rock.
The lyrically astute track follows the otherworldly “Alien Weaponry,” which features Ap flexing braggadocious raps over a sinister Nottz’ banger. But on “I Keep On,” the Connecticut emcee is a bit more laid-back and in the pocket as he trades rhymes with every rapper’s favorite rapper, Pharoahe Monch.
And you can definitely count Apathy among those apostles, because the Demigodz rapper revealed in a Facebook Q&A in 2017 that no other emcee influenced his style more than Monch. And if that influence wasn’t clear before, you can absolutely hear it on “I Keep On,” particularly when the two share the final verse and flaunt some straight-up bananas wordplay and flows. If ever there was a track that younger rappers should listen to, it’s this one.

After coming off the release of 'Perestroika,' one of last year’s best collaborative LP’s alongside the legendary O.C., underground rap stalwart Apathy returns with a vengeance with the debut leak, “Alien Weaponry,” which serves as the debut leak off his long awaited sixth solo LP, 'The Widow’s Son.'
The CT native is straight-up coming for the head of anyone who’s ever doubted him on the Nottz produced banger. Throughout the track, we’re treated to one bravado-laden gem after another, including lines like: “You outgunned/ Outshined/ Must be out your mind/ Raps is putrid/ Ap is stupid/ Slap the fluid out your spine.”
The snarling banger also boasts crazy pop-culture references that seamlessly fit into the overarching theme of “If you thought Ap was going to hang it up soon, you’ve clearly lost your damn mind.” So whether he’s referencing Stranger Things, Opio (of Souls of Mischief), or Freddy Krueger, you damn-well better be taking him seriously.
After all, Ap is clever enough to include a slick Organized Konfusion reference on this track while having a member of the legendary duo (Pharoahe Monch) appear on his upcoming masterpiece. 'The Widow’s Son' is also set to feature Pete Rock, DJ Premier, Buckwild, M.O.P., Celph Titled, and more.

The hard-hitting underground rap duo of Apathy and O.C. are coming “Live from the Iron Curtain” on their bruising new single off their highly anticipated collab LP, 'Perestroika.'
Given that these two emcees are known for packing their bars with crazy wordplay and intricate rhyme patterns, there’s a lot to unpack on their latest track. And that’s apparent from the jump, as Ap opens “Live from the Iron Curtain” with a verse so blistering, that it deserves rewind after rewind. While somehow finding time to take a breath, he unleashes the following: “"I’m the best alive/ Lines electrifyin' like Tesla/ Survivin’ the test of time and you in line buyin’ Ke$ha/ Rob you blind with a nine, what a bind when they find you in pine with a spike through ya spine/ And I spat in the spot where they left ya.”
He then passes the mic to O.C., who utilizes Ap’s hard hitting production to talk plenty of slick sh*t of his own. In between dissing rappers who are nothing more than compost, the D.I.T.C. rapper drops gems that include: "The game's a farce now, but I still take it serious/ Jewelz I spew, some view lines as luxurious/ the opposite of führer, when I occupy Europe.”
You’d be well within your rights to expect nothing but lyrical gems considering what we’ve heard to date from these two. And sure enough, Ap and O.C. are fully prepared to bring the heat—and then some.

One of underground Hip-Hop’s most anticipated albums is about to finally see the light of day when Apathy & O.C. release 'Perestroika' next month. And to bring the excitement to even higher levels, the duo deliver their slick black-and-white visuals for the project’s lead single, “Soviet Official.”
As you might expect, the track itself is an absolute bruiser. It’s fueled not only by Ap and O.C.’s raw and bravado-laced bars, but also boasts hard-hitting production supplied by Moss. The veteran producer put together intricately layered pitch-shifted vocals, horns, and of course some neck-snapping drums to complement the the rhyme schemes of A and O.
It’s their rhymes that drive the SuaveSki-directed visuals for “Soviet Official,” as we get a first-person view of what it’s like to be on the receiving end of their punchlines. From Ap threatening to knock you out your Nikes if your laces aren’t tied, to O.C. taking on the role of John Hobbes from Fallen, this is exactly what you’d want from these two Hip-Hop kingpins.
