And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.â?? The lost will be joined to their resurrected, physical bodies at this point, and will be cast into the lake of fire for all of eternity. That is why this is called the â??second deathâ?? for them. Revelation 20: 6, 14 says, â??Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the SECOND DEATH hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.â?? â??And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. THIS IS THE SECOND DEATH.â?? Revelation 21:8 says, â??But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the SECOND DEATH.â?? This is why the Bible tells of two different resurrections. John 5:28,29 says, â??Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.â?? Daniel 12:2 says, â??And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.â?? Back to the subject of Enoch and Elijah, they are in heaven in the spirit right now. Malachi 4:5 says, â??Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.â?? Jesus said that this prophecy was at least partially fulfilled in the coming of John the Baptist. Matthew 11:11-14 says, â??Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.â?? Matthew 17:10-13 says, â??And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.â?? "
