In this episode I will be speaking with Akofa Wallace who was born in Ghana but grew up in the UK and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. At the age of 28, she moved to Ghana to experience living there for the first time in her life. Joining her on this new journey were her two children, Maia and Harrison. She raised her children in the UK, Ghana, Bangladesh and Vietnam. Akofa remains in Hanoi, Vietnam where she works as a communications specialist. We are exploring the challenges raising children of colour abroad from a multitude of perspectives.
