The more you read the Bible and think about it you then begin to see miracles are there for you just the same. Our simple unbelief is the roadblock to these miracles. This is not some game where you begin to study about God and in a few years you might get a miracle and then you can say God is now shining down on you. No, today you need miracles and I need them just as much for our daily troubles we face. Begin to expect Jesus to give you the miracle you need for today to get you through whatever is bothering you now and then realize you can relax for He will be there tomorrow to give you whatever miracle you need for that day as well. Truly every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before! Expect Jesus to HELP YOU! Toss out all your doubts and TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD like David said in Psalms 34 where he is ONLY talking about GETTING YOU OUT OF TROUBLE EVERY DAY ! THAT IS SOMETHING WE CAN GET HAPPY ABOUT! Makes you KNOW that God really does CARE!!! ..... about YOU!!!!
Just like someone putting money in your bank account or buying your dinner or even paying your bills for you the Book of Psalms is just waiting on you to being to use them. Which one do i read? Well, if you have to ask then you've not been curious to look at any of them yourself, but have probably just taken the viewpoint most people do that they are NOT for today but just some poetic spiritual stuff that religious people READ! Oh my dear friend, No! Take time to read this yourself. You will wonder where you have been so long and didn't know these scriptures! We continue to think Psalms means music and lyrics but these are SIMPLY PRAYERS THAT WORK!!!! One of the first things you will notice is they are what I like to call "SELFISH"! I say that to get your attention! We had better get SELFISH when it comes to our personal safety and our daily lifes problems! We are so conditioned in America that Jesus is NOT a Santa Clause or a Candy Store or a Jeanie In A Bottle therefore we live day after day and NEVER ask for HELP. We feel that is SELFISH prayer! Oh my goodness!!! In reality that's like giving all your weapons over to you worst enemy and calling it quits and just letting the enemy do with you as he wills! It really is! Take a close look at the Psalms. They are for the most part written as if YOU were the only one in the entire world and God loves you enough to help you every time you get in trouble and call for His help! Treat the Psalms as precious as you treat John 3:16 knowing your life depends on what Jesus said there. No one can read Psalm 18 and believe they are so special that God will NOT help them. The problem is people don't read Psalm 18 or when they do they STILL believe GOD won't help them. That is pure UNBELIEF and we are all guilty! Its just too good to be true we tell ourselves and so we give up and never get the miracle we need and then we walk away thinking God doesn't want to help and that couldn't be further from the truth. Get your mind full of the Psalms and start believing your God cares and wants to help you ALL THE TIME.
Here's the trouble! We assume all the responsibility either is God's or it's ours to get help, but it really is a complete combination of BOTH! Basically on God's part we find COMPLETE and TOTAL help from Him unconditionally, however on our part we let our feelings and previous experiences decide the time whe He will help us and we usually decide its NEVER NOW! We fill our minds with all kinds of reasons that seem to make sense ranging from "we are not good enough" for God to help or perhaps God doesn't want me to be helped to teach us some important lesson. Interesting though no one ever knows what the lesson is but we will say things like this because we think it makes spiritual sense and it does NOT. If we really and truly believed God intended for us to have troubles then why do we spend hours upon hours of trying to get help to get out of these same troubles? Honestly face the music here! Find in the Bible where someone had the same trouble you are facing and do what they did and then you'll get out of your trouble. You'll never find in the Bible where someone just "rolled over" and claim it was "God's will" for some problem and so they just did nothing! Nope! Stop the blame game and get on DEFENSE and count on Jesus to help you get out of whatever trouble you are in. His Name alone means "Savior" and His entire earthly ministry here was helping people get out of temporary problems. He already assured everyone of a heavenly home someday after we die. Think the Bible through. His own mother asked Him to fix the "wine shortage" at a simple wedding and she KNEW he would even when He obviously said "IT WASN'T HIS TIME YET". Oh what miracles we lose because we keep telling God what He cant do!!!! Stop doing that!!!! Start trusting Jesus for every little problem and recieve your HELP TODAY! What will happen is you'll find your IMMEDIATE help and then no one can stop you from telling every one that Jesus did it for you!!!! This is how we spread the Gospel! Tell others what Jesus has done for YOU! Remember you'll get persecuted by some on our side that won't like it that you trust Jesus so much, but don't worry they need to be doing the same and when they see you do it they will stop complaining too and join you in the ABUNDANT LIFE Jesus so freely has given to all of us! Praise the Lord!
Well, you will panic all your life and never get any sleep until you decide to take God at His Word and look this answer up yourself from The Bible. Don't even take my word for it! Go see for yourself. Start reading Genesis and work your way through The Bible. Is there an obvious "fear" among all the people listed in The Bible about whether or NOT they will go to heaven? I think you will discover very quickly that every one knew their only hope was to TRUST GOD to get them to heaven. As you will discover no one on their death bed in The Bible was able to say "they were perfect and deserved a ticket to the Pearly Gates". Actually, just the opposite. They all needed MERCY! That's what you have too in JESUS!!!!!
This is so simple! The Bible is a unique book. You don't have to treat it like its written in Latin in fact its available in every possible known language. If not, then there are certainly Missionaries in those areas translating the Scriptures. My point is this. Just simply read the Bible yourself. Normally we are so skeptical when it comes to God and there's a reason for the skepticisim. You have personal help in that area from a fallen Angel named Lucifer or Satan as he is referred to in the Scriptures. His very first appearance in scripture is in the third chapter of very first book of the Bible called Genesis. He is a deceiver and he knows if you read the Bible he will no longer be able to fool you and you'll also find out how much help God will be in your own life. God's Word is so simple. Allow your curiosity to take you into all stories in the Bible and dare to believe that this very same God will act the very same towards you. I dare you to look for God being a shield for those in the Bible from all of lifes disasters and problems. He truly is your shield!
STOP ASKING SO MANY QUESTIONS ABOUT PRAYER. That will kill your prayer life. Treat the Bible add you would an instructional video on YouTube. Read the Bible and simple do it. Take Psalms 3. How easy could this be? Its already written down. Just say the Psalm 3 out loud as your own prayer! Why do you think its written down? Jesus didnt make this hard . We did. Laugh at your unbelief and start praying.
This is so simple. The more scripture you know the less stress you have in your world. This simple book of Hebrews will convince you that your sins are not something we beat ourselves over but rather something our wonderful High Priest Jesus takes care of daily for us. Look for the verses indicating we should panic about our sins in this book. There aren't any! The verses that reference fear of sinning are only related to giving up Jesus and that is something we are NOT going to do. How little we trust in Jesus being our High Priest. It's as though we are so scared of Him we dare not pray. That should make you suspicious as to why you Feel so insecure. That's just the way the devil wants you to feel. Condemned! If you felt happy then you'd be getting on his nerves. That's exactly how Jesus wants you to feel to counter the attacks of the devil. We have got to start believing God is on our side even when we make mistakes. To believe anything different is to miss the basic fundamental assistance we all have in Jesus as our wonderful High Priest.
This could not be more simple. The Lord made this so easy. We have gotten to the point that we don't believe it anymore that's simply reading our Bible will create the miracle we need and more. The simple truth is taking time to read the Bible is taking time to learn about Jesus. I heard my grandparents say over and over those who come around get the blessings meaning if we didn't visit we would not get any good things from them. All the same with the Bible. They say the Bible is still the number one best seller but if you're like me you have to work real hard to find time to read it. It is incredible how busy we are that we can't take time to read the Bible. Have you ever noticed at times when you read your Bible your problems seem to vanish. That is no accident it is by design. If we would but keep it up we would stay out of every problem that came on our way.
The Name of Jesus is one of the many gifts given to us in the Bible. Unbelief steals away our attempts to believe this until at last we recognize the simple fact that the Name of Jesus was given for us to use against life's problems! If we would only but remember the story of David and Goliath we would remember it was about the Power in the Name of Jesus! One only needs to "taste and see" how the Name of Jesus will help you in your life. No matter what problem you face or pain in your body begin to use the Name of Jesus against it and watch what happens to the problem. David was a very young boy and he knew the Name would protect him. No one could ever talk him out of it after he killed a Lion and then a Bear with just the power of that Name! Stop trying to reason it out and just quietly as a child immitate those in the Bible and you'll soon have reason to rejoice!
It doesn't get anymore evident than this. God wants you protected at all times! He doesn't want any harm coming to you. There's not even any secret solution either. This is cut and dry as we say. Just simply believe what Psalms 91 says about your Lord! It has to be for you because its in your Bible. If this is not for you, then why is it even in your Bible. Reason yourself into believing this instead of trying to find reasons why this is not for you today. It is for you today. It would have been ridiculous for us to believe it was even good for 1 person or 1 particular time of history and NOT for you and I today! As wonderful as it may sound it is actually the truth and it will work for you. In a moment you will have heard it from start to finish and every bit of it is yours today.
Forgiveness is something we do on our end. Usually we are good at determining when other people need to forgive instead of focusing on our own selves and forgiving. Certainly there are challenging situations where this may seem to be difficult, but start where you are and work your way up. Recognize that the Lord forgives you for every thing and so you focus on doing the same with the little things that annoy you when you are around others. Once you recognize this is a very important action you need to take you'll begin to see how it works with your Heavenly Father forgiving you. Quit making such a big deal out of things in your life that you seemingly think God will not forgive or perhaps you believe He will forgive, but He won't forget. Truth is, He actually does both Forgives and Forgets. This is a day to day lifestyle. Don't try to drag up old relationships that you feel you have to deal with first. Let them be for they are probably in the "Too Hard To Do Category" right now. Focus on the people that are nearest to you. Make yourself get into a Forgiving Routine. Its these little grudges that lead to the big ones. We feel forgiveness means compromise but that's not true or if we forgive we must do what ever someone says to us, but that's not true either. Forgiveness is what you do toward someone that has done something wrong toward you. Its not what others feel you have to do. Others have nothing to do with this. This is between you and the person that did something to you. Recognize the difference or you'll be running around doing what others want you to do and there will be no forgiveness anywhere. Forgiveness is what you have to decide to do yourself to show kindness to someone that has wronged you.
Sometimes we just feel Life is just going to RULE over us and there's nothing we can do. Thats easy to believe when you have never read the Bible. I'm so amazed at how many times I hear people say they believe in Jesus and the Bible but they believe they are powerless when it comes to Life's Problems. This makes my job as a preacher so easy. Come now! Take time to start reading your Bible. See if people in the Bible acted like THEIR FAITH mattered or not! Beware! Don't ever read Hebrews chapter 11 if you are so convinced YOUR FAITH doesn't matter! HA! HA! Yes, Dear Friend, your FAITH does matter. It is insulting to a friend if you have NO FAITH in them and also to you children and of course visa versa. Why would it not be important for me to have FAITH in God? Many Americans only feel that "Believing There Is A God" is all that's necessary, but oh how limited that makes you in comparison to the people and stories in the Bible. No wonder we worry so much. We feel our God can't do a miracle anymore. Start reading God's Word today and find out for yourself that Your God is ready to help you with a Miracle today! He's just waiting on you to ask and that's what's called FAITH. When you do NO ONE will be able to stop the JOY in your heart.
We worry so much about being good enough for Heaven. Will i make it? Sometimes we jokingly just assume we are going to Hell because we know ourselves so well and feel we are NOT perfect. These are actually good thoughts to have because it makes us think. What actually is the answer? Well, the Bible tells us. There's no way on earth we are going to Heaven without HELP. Certainly we've all made mistakes. That's a given. Some people erroneously believe that because of that God will just understand and let us all into Heaven and keep things moving along as they are. Trouble is Jesus died for a reason. It was not to create a New Religion. He also left before He could "show off" to all the world about this Great New Religion He invented. No, that was not His purpose. Man because of our own wrong doings could never be good enough to get into Heaven but someone made a way for us to get there. He didn't give us a set of rules but a gift. Its called Righteousness. When you understand you can't earn this you begin to relax and trust that it matters not about your past or even your future, but just your simple trust in Jesus to help you get there. That same trust in Jesus will help you overcome any of life's troubles. Always remember His help is a gift and you never have to earn it. Fact is you could never earn it anyway hence the reason for the gift! We all need the gift! Stop worrying about whether you're good enough anymore and start appreciating the gift. Your thankfulness is all that's necessary to God.
There is so much unbelief in our lives today when it comes to our own prayers. We are so confident that God will NOT answer our prayers we get a little arrogant about it. Somehow the idea is we want to argue with God over this when we get to Heaven. Some will even fight you over the right tobelieve that God will NOT answer their prayers. You can't blame them or even yourself IF YOU WON'T READ YOUR BIBLE FOR YOURSELF. It's only natural to believe the worst. Ah! Good news! Take time to study the promises of God yourself and finally figure out all the promises of God are YES AND AMEN!
This is so basic! We are not supposed to be effective witnesses for Jesus is we can't even know for sure if we will even make it to heaven! Stop the bleeding! Read the Bible for your own sanity! The Scriptures will calm you down and you'll KNOW the simplicity of going to Heaven and not Hell!!!! This is one of the most dominating themes throughout the Bible is having a calm assurance that you will be with the Lord FOREVER. Why on earth (literally) did He come to SEEK and SAVE the lost if it was so IMPOSSIBLE? Get rid of your doubts and start being happy again KNOWING "Jesus Saves" and He "SAVES YOU"!!!!!!
So many Christians stay so secretly upset over this basic truth. We have all in our minds scared the living daylights out of our selves because we stop reading our Bibles for our selves. Let me ask you. Would you ask someone to go to the doctor for you or would you go yourself? Of course not! You would go yourself. Well go yourself to the Bible and find out if there's a way for you to go to Heaven. Of course there is! See if you can discover for to be sure you can GO! You will find out quickly and become the happiest person you've ever been! If this is not true then it should NOT be called THE GOSPEL meaning "Good News". It is GOOD NEWS and youre going to Heaven because of Jesus!
The simple truth is fear! We are so afraid of tomorrow. This world as Jesus said is full of tribulation (problems what have you), but remember He said for us to be of good cheer meaning be happy. Well its impossible to just say you'll be happy when trouble comes and not have any way out, but that's the silly things we believe about God sometimes and it could not be further from the truth. Jesus is a Savior not a consoler. He wants to save you from all your worries. We simply can't believe it. Nevertheless its true or the Bible is a very misleading book. Well, we know its not misleading so the problem lies with us daring to believe the Bible is true. We waste our time asking each other whether or not we believe the Bible is literal or not. This should not even be up for debate. Just read the Bible and act like the people and stories in it and you'll see your own miracles daily.
Our own unbelief is staggaring to say the least. We are no different than the persons in stories mentioned in the Bible. From Elijah's silly depression claiming he was the only Christian left all the way to Martha at the tomb of Lazarus telling Jesus that by this time Lazarus stinks. We are constantly fed a storyline in America that there is no God or if there is then Jesus is NOT the only one. We worship trees, animals and practically anything that our highly intellectual minds will conger up. The truth is the Bible has been around longer than any of us have ever been and it is historical in nature if one would but check the facts. The Bible being true should makes us wonder about all we read about Angels. Why are they there? Do I have Angels with me? Why do I need them? Stop beleiving that the Bible is just writtten by a bunch of philosophers. Stop questioning the honesty of the Bible at every turn. These things only delay you from reading the Bible for yourself. You should be questioning yourself as to why you are NOT reading your Bible. Jesus said, "You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free". The Bible is the only explanation about your life and you should find out today why Angels are mentioned as being around you today. Why does the Bible even tell us these stories about Angels if they are not for us today? When you read a story in the Bible about Angels you should say to your heart "That's for me, too". Why else were all the details given?
We are so ignorant of the Bible at times in our lives. We gladly give up simple truths of the scriptures just because someone says that it is not forus today. This is so embarrassing to be so ignorant. Do we not take time to research something a doctor may have said? Do we blindly believe anything our news media says today? I don't think so. We research what we hear all the time but when it comes to the Bible we never look for ourselves to be sure. This is one of the main reasons I enjoy preaching the Bible so much because there is so much we all have not heard. You can get your miracle. Everyone in the Bible that asked for one or two or however many they asked for got them. We need to get ours too. Stop complaining and start praying and believing. The Christian life is truly the happiest life on earth. James chapter 5 says "is anyone afflicted let him pray". That's our signal to get help when you feel sad or hurt then PRAY! Watch Jesus get you out of trouble!
Its amazing to find out for yourself why all the stories about Abraham are in YOUR BIBLE. Some think it's only historical but that's only half the story. You don't have to be a preacher to figure this one out. If Galatians chapter 3 says you are blessed with faithful Abraham then it only makes sense to find out how he was blessed. Genesis 12 is where it all begins so see for yourself what the first thing God said He would do for Abraham. He promised to bless him and that meant financially too. Ask yourself why Abraham lifted his hand to God when the King of Sodom tried to pay Abraham some money in Genesis chapter 14. Why do we even have this information in our Bibles? We are supposed to believe it. Stop listening to every excuse people give about how God won't do for you what's in your Bible. Be like a child and just believe what you read out of God's book He gave to you. This could not be more simple. You wouldn't dare say Jesus was not your Lord and Savior and you learned that from your Bible. So begin to learn the rest of what Jesus says is yours. If God didn't want you to have it He would have said so. You never want Jesus to say to you "Have you not read?"
Why were the multitudes following Jesus everywhere? Jesus was always making them glad. We have such a pessimistic view of the bible sometimes. For all we know, sometimes we believe God is just an unhappy God. That's so not right. When is the last time you heard children quit laughing. When is the last times you heard parents don't laugh at the funny things their little children and even older children say? For us to lose our happiness is directly related to NOT reading our bibles or not paying attention to what we read. God wants you happy and if your NOT then God wants you to do something about it! It's called PRAYER! James 5 says is anyone among you AFFLICTED let him PRAY. If you pray you can STOP the pain! 1 Chronicles 4:10 LOOK IT UP! WHAT A SELFISH PRAYER!!! IS it selfish or was Jabez just smarter than the rest of us? Wake up believer and start getting happy because GOD WANTS YOU HAPPY. Why on earth would God say "Well done thou good and faithful servant ENTER THOU INTO THE JOY OF THY LORD" if He wanted you SAD? We are so silly to be acting so sad with Jesus is in our hearts. Wake up and start walking on the water!
Why not? What part of reading your bible taught you to NOT expect a miracle? As you will learn the bible NEVER said you couldn't have a miracle. Miracles are for you! John chapter 1 Jesus told Nathaniel "You'll see greater things than this". The very last verse in John's Gospel says that if everything Jesus ever did was written down the world itself couldn't contain the books! Where have we been? We have been so embarrassed by our powerless Jesus but its entirely our fault. We tell ourselves subconsciously He is powerless because we believed He will not help us anymore. These beliefs are in directly conflict with those in the bible who simply asked for a miracle and got one. Where in the bible do you read about the people who asked God for a miracle and they were denied? Wipe the dust off your bible and read and do what they did. Its ok to copy what they did. Why on earth was it written down for us? The greatest book on earth! Taste and see that the Lord is good!
Yes He does! Jesus, His very Name means Savior! We have so limited our Lord. We've estimated Him today to be practically ineffective in our lives to save us from anything except HELL. Thank God we've not lost our faith in THAT, but oh there is so much more that Christ has made available for us. Our problem lies in our complete ignorance of the Bible. We claim we've heard every story but somehow we insist God is NOT WILLING to help us like those He helped in the Bible. Something is wrong with that thinking. Since when did God want you to read the Bible and NOT believe it was for you just the same as it was for anyone written in the Bible itself? Unbelief is so ridiculous. Realize you are simply denying yourself one of God's basic promises and stop the worrying about the dangers life throws at all of us. Learn that you have God's protection about you as a SHIELD!!!!
Naaman was a leper in 2 Kings chapter 5 until he turned his worry into a MIRACLE. You can do the same thing. My suggestion is to read that story and realize for yourself you can have a miracle, too! How is it that Naaman's wife could have a little Israelite slave girl that KNEW Naaman could have a miracle and yet today we believe we CANNOT? See how far we've gotten ourselves from the Bible? We've got to stop the bleeding! We're losing the battle here with this kind of UNBELIEF. Start praying! Turn your worries into MIRACLES! You think you love Jesus now? When you start treating Him like He's the same YESTERDAY, TODAY and FOREVER you'll love Him more and more! He's just that incredible! Read the Bible and see for yourself!
The Bible plainly states YOU have angels with YOU! It would do us good to stop complaining about being so helpless down here in all our problems as though God does not care. He cares more than you'll ever dream. Our trouble is unbelief. We grow up knowing more about the Religion of Evolution and the Religion of Atheist than we do about our Bible. How is that? Simple! We quit reading our Bible. You cannot help but be the happiest person on earth when you read YOUR very own Bible! Its a book about You and God and He has special Angels assigned to you all your life.
The Bible is on our side here concerning Heaven and getting there! We wind up continually condemning ourselves and coming up with all kinds of excuses as to why we should never be allowed to go there. Truth is Heaven is a gift and you're not going to earn it in the first place. Read the book for yourself and KNOW you're going! You'll have so much more joy in your heart KNOWING the truth.
The easiest thing to do is believe God is NOT going to help you. It takes work to believe He is on your side and that He will actually HELP you. Ask yourself why you are so tempted to quit. Why aren't you just as easily tempted to "Hang in there"? See this is not a game. There are real forces out there trying to get YOU to just roll over and quit. The forces are trying to get you to stop acting like Jesus is so real and just go back to accepting every little bad thing that happens to you and then make you face the fact there's nothing you can do about it. No! Don't act that way! Fight the good fight of faith! When things hurt you, PRAY! Ask God to get involved and get you OUT of trouble. When you do that then you STAND THERE til you get the answer you ask for! Don't quit! The result is you'll get out of your problems and you'll be so happy you can't wait to tell someone about Jesus!
This is NOT some new thing. Learning Jesus will heal you NOW is easily understood when you Search The Scriptures for yourself. If you just took the book of Matthew alone and read all 28 chapters which would probably take you only a couple of hours you would convince yourself of this fact as well. Trouble is... will we read the book of Matthew and find out? Unfortunately, many will NOT. Thats about as smart as saying "if I take that medicine my doctor gave me I will get better, but I'm NOT going to take it". That would be so stupid, right? Well is the same thing when we don't search the Bible to see if Jesus will heal us. We all have so many reasons why we are so sure we will NOT be healed. Many times we won't read because we condemn ourselves because we think we are too sinful to be healed. Sin will NOT stop you from being healed. It's quite the opposite when you READ the truth. There is no excuse for you NOT to be healed except for our own ignorance of the Mercy and Love of God to everyone of us. Ask yourself this question. "Why is it that I ALWAYS believe God will NOT heal me?" Isn't it interesting that we always start out believing He Will NOT heal us? We have more confidence in Jesus NOT healing us. This should make any thinking person suspicious of why one should believe so negatively. When you read the bible you'll always figure out that YES God wants to heal me and He wants to right NOW! Take the plunge! Jump into God's Word and listen to no one else and let God be God and heal you today! It is that simple! Wouldn't you agree God wants everyone to believe in Jesus and go to heaven someday? Wouldn't you say that promise if for EVERYONE and be willing to argue all day long to prove it? Why is it that you believe this so strongly and won't budge? It's because you KNOW what the BIble says about going to heaven! Its the exact same when it comes to Jesus healing you! Once you learn THIS no one can every take it away from you!
We paralyze ourselves in our own thinking. Continually condemning ourselves for a seemingly major sin or even and occasional slip up is certainly not trusting in the One Who died to take all our sins away. We act as though Jesus will not forgive us for we won't forgive ourselves. Listen, we can't save ourselves. We have to have Jesus do it for us. You couldn't pay for a single sin by running around depressed all the time. David wrote in Psalms 103:2 "And forget not all His benefits; and who forgiveth all thy sins" . See we should use a little more faith and start acting like we have God's Mercy when we blow it. We have God's Mercy! Stop acting so pitiful and start rejoicing that your sins are forgiven no matter what you have done!
Once we get beyond our own unbelief that God wants to help us we discover you cannot out give God. The Bible will encourage you all the time that God will give you gifts. Some people think just the gift of Jesus is all we have but even then they don't understand the gift of Jesus. You can't just have Jesus and not have everything else. Everything came when the gift of Jesus came. No wonder Jesus is all we need!
The Name of Jesus should be such a well known weapon in the life of every believer. Unfortunately it gets overlooked. When we read the Bible ourselves we will find out that the use of the Name of Jesus is literally spoken. Makes sense! Why have a name if you're not going to speak it. Jesus said to use His name in prayer and we would get what we asked for. Why did He spend time telling us this if we were not meant to use it?
Faith matters and it matters to you. Without faith it's impossible to please God. Think about a friend or parent or a spouse. Does my faith matter with them? Yes is the only answer. How would people treat us if we had NO FAITH in anyone around us? Easy answer here as well. No one would want to be around us and no one would want to do anything for us! Wow! See how your faith in God is critical? James chapter one tells us "let him ask in faith without wavering (doubting)". This passage here tells us to not expect anything from the Lord is we doubt He'll do it. We have to do our part and believe even when it looks totally impossible! Mark 9 Jesus tells a man who has a demon possessed son that he needed to believe. See we have a part to play. We can't just be waiting to see what will happen to us next. No. We need to believe what we ask for in prayer we will get! Mark 11:24 "what things you desire when you pray, believe you recieve them and ye shall have them"
This should be our first area of personal confidence and happiness but many times we just can't believe the Jesus of the Bible is this way, but He is. The Bible is the key to understanding your own forgiveness not how you feel or how others treat you. The trouble is many times we self condemn ourselves because we have made mistakes after we have been saved. Not realizing the Devil is called the Accuser of the Brethren in Revelation 12 and that he has been cast down we become our own worst enemy. We let our feelings or other decide whether or not Jesus likes us anymore. When this happens our closest friends begin to see our own personal loss of trust in Jesus to forgive us and they lose hope that He really might forgive them one day. This is by design of the Devil. He will make you feel so bad if you self condemn yourself. Face the music! We've all made mistakes and trying to be on a Perfect Streak is only going to make you feel worse when you fall! Here's a tip! Keep reading God's Word as often as you can. The Bible will always tell you God's mercy endures forever. Jesus will always forgive you and He will always be your sacrifice for sins. Rejoice and be glad!
The Bible is a very important book for you. If there was ever anything magical in this world then its the Bible. People have all kinds of reasons to ignore it and never read it. From people who don't believe it even to those who claim they believe every word yet they don't take time to read it. God has promised if we'll but just read it then FANTASTIC things would begin to happen for us. Consider this... Jesus said in Matthew 4:4 "Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God". I'm sure you don't exactly feel hungry but we all really are! We need God's Word. It couldn't be easier today to have it near us to read. Find out what happened to the people in the Bible who began to read God's Word! Mark the calendar for yourself and begin to read God's Word. Read it outloud. You college students... you know how to study. Treat the Bible the same way and watch what happens in your life. You'll never stop reading again for after all Psalms 1:3 declares those that do "whatsoever they do shall prosper"! Stop condemning yourself as though God doesn't like you enough to give you His Word and His promises. He most surely has. ALL GOD'S BLESSINGS in that book belong to you no matter what you have ever done wrong! As you read God's Word you'll find out it really is a book about YOU and FOR YOU!!!!!
Jesus is always going to care for you no matter what. He is always there to immediately help you if you will but only believe. John 3:16 is based solely on your trust in Jesus alone to take you to heaven. You can't ever be good enough on your own to go there. No, you have to have help. That help is Jesus. The further you get away from the Bible the harder you will make things for yourself but it you will but trust the scriptures believing they mean what they say and they were said for YOU then you'll find help always and FAST and no one will be able to stop you. That how God designed the system. He is all we ever need! If something is broke then ask God to fix it in Jesus Name. If you need something then ask God for it in Jesus Name. This is the THEME of the entire Bible you will notice as YOU read it. Other people might tell you differently, but you go by what YOU READ in the Bible. God Made This Easy!!! He really did!
YES THEY DO! We have been trained by years of bad teaching that God just makes everything happen when and if He wants to and there's nothing we can do about it! That couldn't be further from scriptural reality. You will continue to believe all your prayer will not be answered if you continue to believe this way. Take Mark 11:24 for instance. How on earth can you "believe your recieve" if you have no idea whether or not God will get it for you because you feel He might not want you to have something or not. Check the Bible out for yourself. Don't quote what other books say or what people have taught you. Look to the Bible for the answer to your prayers. You'll find that you should be asking and recieving WHATEVER you ask for. How else could Jesus say THAT YOUR JOY MAY BE FULL? Stop doubting and start believing and receiving what you ask for EVERY TIME in JESUS Name!!!
Its incredible how much unbelief we have over this issue. We give every excuse like "its too difficult" or "God wants to punish me" or "I've sinned too much" or "I sinned one big time" or "God doesn't heal anymore" or "God doesn't heal everyone" and on and on we could go with excuses. None of them are right in comparison to the way the multitudes were healed by Jesus and how He instructed His disciples to heal from city to city. So where's the problem? Well, you tell me! Why is it that you don't know healing is for you? Why is it that you don't know healing is for everyone as stated by Jesus in Mark chapter 16 under the signs that follow EVERY BELIEVER that "THEY SHALL LAY HANDS ON THE SICK AND THEY SHALL RECOVER"? See we are basically pessimistic at heart! Don't feel alone. The disciples felt the same way even watching Jesus day after day. Peter walked on the water, but then began to sink as well til he cried out to Jesus. Jesus told him "why did you doubt"? The Bible is such a miracle book and we at times have struggles believing the Mercy of God is so good all the time. However, if you truly search the scriptures about your own health you'll find God wants you well and He will heal you every time. Psalms 103:1-3 Your sins have nothing to do with except if you self condemn your self and decide God won't heal you. Why in the world did He even heal Naaman a Syrian General that attacked Israel and even took home an Israelite slave girl who told him God would heal him? No matter how you look at it we have to use our trust in God for healing. The first thing we need to learn to trust is that HE WILL HEAL US AND THAT OF COURSE RIGHT NOW NOT SOME DAY WHEN HE FEELS LIKE IT OR WHEN WE GET TO HEAVEN. See that's a hard thing to trusts isn't it? Not so hard when you read the Bible for yourself. Your faith will leap into action and you'll ask God to heal you today!
Easier said than done we hear, but truly it is easy, but will we do it? Well, the chips are down and yes we need to or its silly for the Bible to tell us to "NOT WORRY"! Worry is actually the part of us that says God's Promises (The Bible) WILL NOT HELP ME SO THEREFORE I'M SO SCARED! This is totally understandable, but we have to learn to TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT instead of just enduring our problems til they go away! Actually prove to yourself there's HOPE in the Bible for your own situation! Remember things like "All things are possible to him that believes" (Mark 9:23) Look that up! It was a dire situation for somebody and they actually complained to Jesus that even Jesus might not be able to help them but Jesus fired right back at the person saying "OK, Forget it if YOU WON'T BELIEVE"! The person then screamed "LORD, I BELIEVE, HELP MY UNBELIEF"!!! Wow what a story! This is us many times! We feel its hopeless and we just quit! Never quit! Ask God for a miracle in Jesus Name and don't take NO for an answer and watch your MIRACLE HAPPEN! I don't care about what you've heard and if you "tried this before"! The important thing is DO IT NOW! The Bible never said this method doesn't work! Its called trusting in the Lord. So what are you worried about. Your circumstances are not the WILL OF GOD. The Bible is the WILL OF GOD. Stop worrying and CHANGE your circumstances by simply saying "LORD HELP ME IN JESUS NAME"! Quit worrying that Jesus doesn't love you enough to help you! He's called your HIGH PRIEST who is easily touched with the feelings of our infirmities! Its ridiculous how little we trust Jesus to help us. No wonder we worry so much! Hang on to him for HELP! He's not called a Savior for NOTHING! Lay out what you need Him to do and don't withdraw ever again in unbelief! STAND FIRM til you see the answer! You'll see how easy it is to REJOICE in the Lord always when you do and your worst worries will no longer bother you!
We are so bugged in our minds sometimes about what other people think of us. We certainly don't think everyone approves of us so when it comes to thinking of God we gravitate toward thinking He doesn't approve of us either. This could NOT be further from the truth. We can't save ourselves. It takes Jesus and Him only to accomplish this great task. Why is it we must now feel that to have God's help in our daily lives we must be some sort of "Super Saint" that is so perfect God just has to help us! None of that thinking is the truth. Last I checked we still are required to pray in the Name of Jesus instead of in our own names. None of us are going to get our prayers answered based on our own merits anyway so we need to stop acting this way in front of God no matter what you've every done wrong. Sin is not the problem. Unbelief is the problem. Ask yourself did the Prodigal Son wind up worse off after he came back home. No! He got a ring for his finger, shoes for his feet, a new robe and a party for his father loved him. If you continue to see yourself any different than this when you think of your Heavenly Father then you will always struggle needlessly. People will tell you that God will not answer your prayers for this reason or that. Do NOT listen to them! Listen to the Bible and you'll find God promises to LISTEN to you and Grant you your little ole requests. Quit thinking it will bankrupt heaven or some other ridiculous thought like "careful what you ask for". All of these things are just meant to keep you from praying and discovering that God will quickly answer your OWN prayers!!!! The book of Psalms is all about individuals who wouldn't take NO for an answer in prayer. Take the challenge. Pick out a Psalms to match your current dilemma and watch God get you our of trouble instantly. Start with the 23rd Psalm if you like. What part of any of those 6 small verses says you're gonna fail? Remember you've got to believe. You can't just keep blaming God for all your problems and not pray to get out of any of them. God didn't bless you with problems as some foolishly go around teaching. God blessed you with daily deliverance! You'll not believe your own eyes when you see what God does for you. It will be no accident. It will be no coincident. It will be you taking time to act like the Bible is true and acting like its for you today. After a few days of your own prayers no one will be able to stop you from getting so excited about your own Bible and your own Faith!
This should really be a "no brainer" here, but many times we fall back to the same old UNBIBLICAL belief that God wants us either hit rock bottom or be poor or some other foolish belief. This couldn't be further from the truth of the Bible. How many people in the Bible were used of God and were just dirt poor as a result? That should be an easy question to answer! Zero! I"ve been young and been old David said in Psalm 37:25 and i've never seen the Righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread! Our own ignorance of the Bible keeps us in trouble. Faith is always the answer and concerning finances and especially your own you'll continue to stumble if you never can believe financial miracles are FOR YOU! History teaches us that the Jewish people have always been tremendously rich. Why are all the jokes so funny about the Jews having control of the money if it were not so. How is it then you and I can believe so strongly that God wants us to be poor! It's ridiculous! Just to be God's child is to be RICH if only we would believe His promises. Quit following your feelings. Read the Bible for yourself and you'll walk away from poverty and into tremendous blessings! Genesis 12 the first thing God told Abraham was God would make him rich! Where have we been? We have mental blocks that tell us "if God makes me rich it will ruin me"! This is pathetic! It's also an excuse for not taking the time to find out God never wants you poor! 2 Corinthians 8:9 - look it up! Convince yourself this is not a lie! Ask yourself what it really means. What is the topic of chapter 8 and chapter 9. You'll discover its strickly talking about MONEY. Learn to believe God that He loves you enough to help you financially! Hurry! Stop wasting time today!
Its our responsibility to believe. Things just did not happen to people in the Bible because they sat there and didn't do anything. They believed God. God requires faith. Anyone can believe there's a God but God is requiring more than that. Believing that not only does He exists but that He will help you in your time of need. (Hebrews 11:6) The story of David and Goliath was one of faith. David would have never tangled with Goliath if he didn't have faith. 1 Samuel 17 paints the story completely from beginning to end of David's faith that the Lord would give him victory over Goliath. A very simple story but very explicit one when we compare our own faith today with David's when we encounter difficulties in our lives. Will we run toward Goliath believing as David did to slay him or will we be afraid like the rest of the Israelite soldiers when we face life's difficulties? I just bet you'll act like David if you read your Bible and decide every story was meant for you today!
Yes you do! We all have to set aside our traditions and get real with ourselves and the Bible. Listen to this fantastic message about how Angels are there FOR YOU. Everyone wants to think they are for little children or for someone else but how little we believe they are SENT to PROTECT us. We should be just as confident that Angels are around us as we are about believing that Jesus will take us to heaven someday! The Bible never expected us to NOT believe in Angels. The Bible takes for granted that you KNOW these things. Set aside all the stories and beliefs you've ever had about how rare Angels are in people's lives and step up the TRUTH of God's Word and KNOW today there are Angels encamped (circling) you at all TIMES. What? You think you've been lucky or something all these years? Angels were there and are THERE! You'll see more miracles if you'll do your part and stop worrying and start believing God has Angels there to keep you and your loved ones safe at all times. Start believing the Bible. Start doubting all the tales of people who claim Angels are only for a select few. That's totally unbiblical! The Bible is roughly 1300 pages long. Read it for yourself. It won't take you forever! Quit depending on others to tell you what the Bible says. Find out for yourself. This will stop all the confusion in your own life and you'll know the TRUTH about Angels. God's book the Bible says they are there NOW all around you!
Its true self condemnation will ruin the life of any believer even if its for just moments at a time. We are all so concerned about our heavenly appearance either to others or just to ourselves or even fearing what God may think. Let's step back a minute and think about the obvious from the Bible. How often did Jesus refuse to forgive people? None that we can ever recall, right? He always forgave! Hebrews 13:8 says Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever! Jesus must still be forgiving! Of course He is. We'll then say "yes He forgives, but He's upset with me!" All of this is a vicious cycle designed to discredit what our Lord Jesus did for us! If you self condemn yourself without reminding yourself of the forgiveness Jesus purchased you then you actually are making more of a deal about your mistake then the price Jesus paid to have that sin removed. No where does the Bible tell us to feel so sorry for our sins that we don't accept our forgiveness and move on. We want to punish ourselves in some form or fashion, but we must remember Jesus was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was laid upon Him. It does no good to try to punish yourself. Besides the punishment is "death" anyway! I'd like to see you try to do that to yourself every time you make a mistake! There's no way! We all feel we should at least expect maybe a few days without answered prayer or a few days of everything going wrong then all will be ok with God and me. Wrong! Its only through the blood of Jesus are our sins removed, so all the other hoops we jump through are just a waste of time. The devil wants to make us thing we have to do all kinds of things to win our place back with the Lord and its just wrong. Your place with the Lord is not won by your merits or mine. Its a gift through Jesus Christ. What we fail to recognize is Jesus is actually our Great High Priest that is passed into the heavens for us. Stop worrying about how special your mistakes are to God for they are not. He has forgiven you no matter what you do or will do. If you or I don't pay close attention to the bible where forgiveness is concerned we will come up with all kinds of weird ideas about how to get our lives right again with the Lord. Jesus made all the arrangements for this already. Your place is secure! Learn to believe in forgiveness with full blessings intact! No where did God say He'd take them away for a few days or weeks or anytime length of time. Learn to believe in His mercy! Its forever and its for us all!
It's just interesting to see in the Bible that the very essence of praying is between YOU and God and that He guarantees you to give you what you ask for! See! Exactly the moment you read that statement you even now thought to yourself "No He never said that" or "He won't do that all the time". The truth is when you study the bible you do see promise after promise GRANTING YOU YOUR REQUESTS! However people still do NOT pray because (and I don't blame them) if you are taught all the time "it might not work, probably won't work, we are playing God here, or God just thinks its cute to see His children pray". Hearing those things who would want to pray. Ah, but what says the Scriptures? Oh my gosh! This opens the heavens up and starts the miracles you need! Remember Luke 18:1 (Living Bible) Keep on praying til the answer comes! This means what you asked for! Quit giving up and making excuses just because you didn't see the answer in 5 minutes or 5 days or whenever! If you think about it, we are dealing with God and He is on our side, so don't ever give up. Count on God getting it to you! Name yourself one prayer promise that says "He won't"! There's not any so dust yourself off and begin to believe God's Word and do not take "No" for an answer EVER! Stick with your request and don't give up! Your life will change and you'll soon be "praying without ceasing" and will understand why Ephesians 3 says "He can do exceedingly, abundantly, above all we ask or think according to the power that lieth within us". Be bold! Hebrews 4:16 "Let us come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need". Don't stop praying til you get help for your time of need! Quit thinking you'll bankrupt heaven! Jesus never would have said "ask for ANYTHING" if there were limits! Jesus didn't put limits out there. We have through our own unbelief! Start praying today and start seeing YOUR OWN prayers be answered! You'll certainly not lack for a testimony to tell others what GREAT things the Lord has done for you.
Again, check your Bible. To go without is not right. God will always provide abundance. He chooses to do this to show us He is God and that we don't need to be chasing after other so called gods. This is proven over and over in the scriptures but you have to read for yourself to be convinced. I'm not just going to say the Bible supports my message. Quite the contrary this message will be the Bible so you can see for yourself. We have all these crazy ideas of why we believe God will not be there for us because perhaps He needs to punish us or some other unknown plan of His. Try to explain that to the birds of the air in Matthew chapter 6. Jesus Himself said they don't worry and we are of MORE VALUE THEN THEY! Oh the unbelief we possess! Much of the time we hear the voice of condemnation ranging from our own minds telling us how sinful we are to listening to preachers who feel the only message is to point out how awful we are to the Lord. Strange as it may seem Romans chapter 2 tells us "its the Goodness of God that LEADS US TO REPENTANCE".... We want to believe its a "pay to play" type walk with Jesus and you'll never get away with that. Its your simple faith in a very forgiving Jesus that will put you back into abundance as soon as you stop your whining and complaining and start trusting Him for His help. God is merciful to all of us so stop pointing your fingers at your own lack of goodness or even pointing to others where they lack goodness. Jesus would not let the multitudes leave HUNGRY. He fed them all. Do you reckon everyone was perfect? I'm certainly not! How about you? I'm just thankful God doesn't want us to go without. "Psalm 37:25 - I've been young and been old but i've never seen the righteous forsaken or their seed begging bread"
If we can believe God will take us to heaven by simply believing in Jesus then its absurd to think He won't heal us for the promises are identical. Traditional thinking has gotten the best of us. Knowledge of healing for us all in the bible has been like a deep dark secret to many a christian. Some think healing is NOT in the bible for us while others say it is. The fact of the matter is "what do you think"? Lets find out for ourselves and if it so then let's do the honorable thing and just TRY to act like the Bible is true and begin to watch God really help us. You will find out He does want to heal you and He wants to "TODAY" ! Ask yourself when you would want your own children to be healed if you could help them. I don't think you would delay it for a second and try to explain the reasons why mommy or daddy want you to be in pain a few more days or even years. I'm sure you'd say RIGHT NOW, TODAY! Well, God loves you more than you can even begin to love your own children yet you would do anything for your children's health. You would be willing to die for them, right? We all would. Our hearts go out to our children when they are sick! Why is it then that we would want to believe God is not this concerned about our health? He is! There's a story in the bible about how He died for you. He's got healing for you! You don't have to earn it! It's free! We believe the silliest things when it comes to healing about God. Remind yourself of the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and the book of Acts. Pay close attention to anyone that was sick in those books. What happened to them? They all got healed! If you can believe positively without a doubt that Jesus will take you to heaven someday then you can believe God will heal you. Its the exact same faith! Reach out and at least begin try to trust Him for your health from minor things to major things. Soon you'll be carrying a sack full of your own testimonies of how the Lord has been your healer!
This is so simple yet we make it so hard to give ourselves an excuse for our unbelief. Faith is easily understood as compared to unbelief. Do you believe your friend or not when they tell you something? As we learn our friends we know when they are teasingly telling us the truth or not. Sometimes people we do not know we have to decide do we believe them or not. Stated differently, do i have faith in them or not. Why is it we think faith is so optional when dealing with God? It cannot be or otherwise it would certainly make us look disrespectful. Sometimes people just don't know what all God said He would do and they never know so how could they ever have faith or trust shall we say He would do anything. Let's take for granted we have a record of what God said He will do for us and its written down in a very accessible book called the Bible. Faith would be if either you or i or both of us decided to believe that the things God said He would do for us we simply chose to believe were so and started acting like they would soon happen in our lives.
Great question? Why is it in your Bible? It's clearly all about David and some problem he was facing. Then why is it in your Bible? That's a great question too! We certainly already believe in God so we don't need to know about how powerful God is. What is the reason for this Psalm? Simply put it was personal for David because it's personal for YOU TOO! We are all but ignorant if we do not take on this Psalm 18 and use it for ourselves. Simple study would understand David as King of Israel sent this Psalm over to the choir director to be sung at least weekly if not daily for everyone to hear around Jerusalem. For it to be exclusively for David personally it would never have been made a Psalm. How many times have we all heard "the Psalms are not for us today"? Incredible unbelief we surround ourselves with every day. With that kind of thinking then we need to toss out the 23rd Psalm as well, and that would be absurd. Well, then tossing out the 18th is just as absurd. Every word in Psalm 18 can be depended on. Recognize your own unbelief and begin to take God at His word and believe Him to respond to you just like He did for David in this wonderful Psalm. Is there any wonder David killed Goliath thinking like he did here in this Psalm.
This is the personal side of Redemption! It's so important that we believe for our own selves how great this redemption truly is. Who are we to determine how little Jesus did for us by assuming all there is can only be at ticket to heaven someday. That alone seems fishy if that were all redemption includes. Some even say Redemption is only then the heart of a person being changed into something more useful for God. Well, these things are certainly included in the effects of Redemption, but there's so much more or Jesus used the wrong words saying "And have it more Abundantly" in speaking of Eternal Life. Why even did Jesus describe the rich blessings of the Prodigal Son returning home after the son's return home from wasting his father's inheritance. Jesus ruins a great opportunity to show how angry God must be with all of us by confusing us with "rings for his fingers, shoes for his feet, the best robe, killing the fatted calf and music and dancing!" This is just it. He is NOT angry with us as we tend to believe much of the time. We are not trying to sin as some insist. It just happens. Jesus thinks we are worth something or He never would have died for us. The unbelief needs to stop in our lives and we need to see what really is Redemption according to Jesus. Redemption is a financial term much like you redeem a coupon. What was it we were bought from?
This is so wonderful that any child or adult has now the ability to share the wonderful story of Jesus by simply saying "look at me and what Jesus is doing blessing me so"! Somehow over the years we've lost this fundamental part of the message but much like Martin Luther discovered "The just shall live by faith" its been rediscovered by so many through reading the Bible that we are indeed supposed to all be richly blessed. Everyone of us can claim difficulties and be the champion for who's had it the worst or at least in our own minds. The real challenge is to drop this thinking and take Jesus at His own words and believe He wants to bless you personally. Stop claiming you are the worst sinner ever born for Paul the apostle already claimed that position yet he still knew he had the same marvelous Grace that we all benefit from. Its a pity when we don't accept God's richest blessings because we feel we don't deserve them after all the price our Lord Jesus paid for us to enjoy them. Yes, you'll feel guilty with all these rich blessings following you around all the time as you lie in bed before you fall asleep but you will find out that you can channel that guilt in a positive manner and tell your friends that since you discovered Jesus will bless you then you know He will bless them. This makes sharing Jesus so much easier. You'll be thanking HIm every day for his blessings!
We can deny all these blessings all we want to publicly or even privately but they'll still be sitting here waiting on each one of us the moment we release all our unbelief. When did it ever become our responsibility to bless ourselves? We live in a society where the miraculous has to be completely explained. Try to take a step back and realize that God really exists and that He really wants to bless you. Stop making excuses that you are such a sinner and God doesn't want to bless you. That's ridiculous! Jesus didn't die for Himself. He died for your sins! What else will you accept as the reason you can't be blessed just like all the rest of God's people in the Bible. They were sinners just like you and me and still had God's richest and best! You can too! Doing without these wonderful blessings will not get you to heaven. This isn't proving anything to God except your own ignorance or unbelief. Taste and see that the Lord is Good! Its ok! He's got plenty to go around and especially for YOU!
The truth is God is much more powerful than the Devil could ever hope to be. Many times we believe we are simply at the mercy of this merciless enemy and its not the truth. Redemption is a financial word. It simply means to purchase. We have been purchased legally from the hand of this merciless enemy but we need to act as though it is the truth. That's all faith is. Just pretend (shall i say) the Bible is telling you the truth. Act like a child and play like scriptures mean what they say. This will produce results that you'll be so excited over you can't help but tell people around you what happened. This is how the Gospel is spread! Let's get to work! Find out Jesus is Lord for your sake and He didn't leave you helpless where the Devil is concerned. How ridiculous for Ephesians 6:10 to begin to explain all of the wonderful powerful armor we possess to win against the Devil only to be at his mercy. No so my friend! We are victors!!!!!
Sometimes as Christians we just don't get it. We feel we're the enemy ourselves to God when in fact we are His children. We are so sure that life's problems are just a bag of punishment we all deserve that we quit believing in the simpleness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It gets ridiculous when you get to studying the Bible and finding out that its our own fault for not bringing our troubles to the Lord. We know we can't earn our way to heaven but I'll be John Brown if we both don't think at times Jesus won't bless us unless we are absolutely Perfect! We don't realize that in Jesus we are Perfect by His blood and we don't have to earn His peace He's given us. Take time to use a little faith and watch Him help us through ever trial we ever face with the assurance He will protect us at all times!
Its difficult to realize Jesus will heal you and I. This is what is called faith. You'll never experience your faith for healing if you don't take time to read about what the Bible says about your own guaranteed healing. David was so bold as to say in Psalms 103 "who forgives all my sins and HEALS all my diseases". David called this a benefit and also MADE himself remember it. Oh how fitting this is for us today. We can get so wrapped up in our hurts that we forget we have a benefit from God to be healed. Make sure you take time to use this benefit! Stop thinking about all the people you know that have been sick or even died and just play-like that the Bible is true. That's called faith. Why would God write such promises just to let us down? If you would just be bold enough to try Jesus would help you.
The Bible will make you a very happy person. Just knowing God will help you all the days of your life and will make you the happiest person on earth! Ask and you shall receive that your JOY MAY BE FULL! ... Jesus said "That my joy might remain in you". What? Was Jesus actually a happy person? Of course! He wants you happy too!
Genesis chapter 1 declares this wonderful fact. However your own failures will work on you and make you think you are meant to fail and lose and just have a terrible life altogether, but Jesus said "I've come that you might have Life and have it more Abundantly". Its up to us to act. We are MORE THAN CONQUERORS through Him that loved us.
God really does love you. You'll always have trouble loving others until you finally figure out God loves you so much He wants to help you with you daily struggles! We lose our tempers sometimes because we get frustrated with our own problems and become unlovely sometimes! When you discover God loves you and really will help you with your own problems you'll soon see how to love others like God wants you to.
Why is it we feel the Lord will help everyone else but US in times of trouble. David didn't feel that way. He insisted the Lord was always going to help him and he was very impatient about it. We would do ourselves a favor if we acted more like him instead of feeling so alone in trouble. Expect the Lord to get you out of trouble every time!
We do not even need a Bible if we continue to believe God could care less about us. Condemnation can get so great and common in our lives that we actually believe God never loved us to begin with. Oh how wrong that thinking actually is. God demonstrated His love toward us while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. For God so loved the World.... and yet another place it says "who loved me and gave Himself for me". Wrong believing here as you know gets you no where fast! If you don't think you're God's friend then you have not heard the Story of Jesus! He came to get you to be His friend. Remember Zacheus? I'm coming to your house today, Jesus said! Shake off your fears and accept His friendship and watch Him help you TODAY!
Faith is so simple. We use it every day. However, when it comes to God many times we feel we are just to not expect anything, but rather take life's hand no matter how its dealt to us. Many believe this infact is faith, but it couldn't be further from trusting the Lord. Anyone can accept difficulties in their lives, but it takes faith to believe God has something better for you than a life full of heartaches. When we read God's Word its like a different world! Exactly! Start believing what you see written in the Bible is for you TODAY! It will happen and you'll make God proud that you dared believe His promises!!!
Prayer in the Bible is not trial and error. Neither is it termed "yes, no or maybe". Biblical prayer is recieve what you ask for and not take no for an answer. "Is anything to hard for the Lord"? The easiest thing to do is continue to convince ourselves that God doesn't want to grant us what we ask for. Stay ahead of the unbelief. Stop believing things like this. Become more like King David who never thought his prayers would be unanswered. That kind of thinking was for the idols people worshipped because idols had no miraculous ability to help like our God can and will! Stop your whining and start your trusting Jesus today!
Why is it we believe more in ourselves than in Jesus? So often we think Jesus just won't help me because of some reason or another. Thats funny! Hebrews 13:8 says Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever. No one that ever came to Jesus for help did He turn down. Stop trying to be the first. Your unbelief will only delay your miracles that you need right now. Jesus will not every run out of love for you nor miracles. He said He would do more miracles that you may MARVEL! Are we done marveling at creation? Has the beauty of God's Creation suddenly become boring? I don't think so! Start looking for God's help and your miracle, TODAY!
Dont ever worry! Jesus is your High Priest and He knows your shortcomings. Condemnation is real and it originates from the Devil. You will be your own worst enemy if you do not take time to believe God's Word concerning forgiveness. Why is it we feel we are supposed to forgive everyone, but one little mistake we make send God packing we feel and He doesn't forgive us. Well, that's simply not true. "Forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who trespass against us"! Its that simple! I'm supposed to forgive and Jesus is faithful and just to forgive you the same! That being so, why the sad face? Why feel like God won't help me with some problem? Reverse the feelings and start trusting in God even when you make a mistake! Isaiah 1:18-19 Come let us reason together says the Lord though you sins be as scarlet they shall be as white as snow, though they be red like crimson they shall be as wool. If you be willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land! How can eating the good of the land be so close to dealing with our sins? Its called MERCY!!!!! You have it!!! Start counting on it.
So much of the time we feel because of our mistakes this somehow stops the miraculous in our lives. If that's really so when do we get the miraculous back? Truly to think this way is utterly absurd when you look at all the sinners Jesus helped. Which ones did He turn down because they were too sinful or perhaps had recently sinned? Not hardly! Our self punishment will not move Jesus one inch. When we quit pointing the condemning finger at ourselves and start trusting in Jesus for His help we'll get out of our problems immediately. The scriptures plainly teach this. To believe something else is to miss your own mercy! Start trusting Jesus now to get you out of your most pressing problem! He will do it! He's not called a Savior for nothing! Soon you be singing and praising His Name and happy and wanting to tell everyone what great things Jesus is doing for you.
Sometimes we feel we are so alone, but we are NOT. There's special angels assigned to us all. They are under command of God to protect us. Do we ever NEED IT!
God's Peace belongs to you and me. The bible tells us this. God's Peace is amazing passing all our understanding. This is one of the outstanding benefits of knowing Jesus. When we feel like there's no way we can stop worrying about a problem we can find this peace to set us free from all torment and make us smile.
Typically we tend to believe the worst about ourselves as we stand before God. Jesus will make you relax and start believing in His mercy for you. Many people came to Jesus asking for His mercy and he Never turned them down and He won't you. Jesus wants to help you. Too often we feel we need to pay for His help. Stop thinking that way. You couldn't afford it anyway and besides His help is free!
Yes we have a common enemy. The Bible refers to him as the Devil, but we can beat him in every circumstance. Our lives down here on earth are not supposed to be full of torment. Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly.
We give up way to easily. We really shouldn't give up so quickly!!! Listen and see why!
This Psalm is in every bible you pick up. If it weren't for you and I then it would not be in there. Take a moment to listen and let your heart believe its entirely for you. Each time you read this it is written as though it were for you. No surprise! God meant it this way!!!!
The Scriptures are full of stories of Angels. They have specific instructions to PROTECT you and I.
This gets difficult but its part of our walk with Jesus. The easiest thing to do is just worry until a problem finally passes, but the hard part is to expect the miracles of the Bible to be yours and fix it. Believing is trusting. Sometimes trusting is so hard when all we see is the problem and all we think about is it too. In the same way Casting Our Worries On The Lord is the same process. Make all you see about you problem be the promise of God to get you out of your problem and make every thought you have think how wonderful its going to be to have Jesus get you out of this mess. Thats called "casting your cares over on Him". This takes effort because when things appear hopeless we want to just quit. Don't quit though! Keep up the pressure! Your miracle will happen!
