This week, Jackson and Rozz invite friend of the pod and Bravo Expert, Danielle on to discuss the future of Bravo. If you’re not immediately thinking of housewives, let’s clarify that Bravo is a television network that is segregated on all but one show, and recently fired 4 stars of one of it’s most popular shows for a history racist behavior. You might be shocked at the length of this week’s episode, but this is their Marvel Universe.
The friends give quarantine updates, touch base on the personal work they are doing to support the movements happening, and talk to what some may say is ad nauseam. It’s a three and a half star podcast after all :)
Jackson and Rozz take this week to chat about the importance of local politics as well as understanding local government in the midst of the movements and protests. Because they aren't experts and have rarely been fact checked on the podcast, they bring on Friend/Forgiver/one time host of the podcast, Ian Hartz, urban planner, to answer their questions about local government.
Confused? Don't be! The issues that the movements are addressing are heavily tied to funding/defunding/reallocation which local politics play a large role in determining.
