How to boast in God
- Know the Lord (Jeremiah 9:23-24)
-You can’t pray to a God you do not know.
- Keep your mind fixed on God (Genesis 12: 1-5)
-Don’t let your prayer life be determined by your problems, they should be ignored.

Boasting in God is not just a speech, it is a lifestyle.

Do not focus your understanding of God to other people’s experiences.

Our primary way of discovering God is through the scriptures.
God wants to be known and many of us do not really know Him. Job 42:5. What the Bible does for us is describe God but if you don not pursue what you have read in an experiential way we do not know God. Salvation is common but relationship is not. Romans 5. Justification by Faith is the access card to all of God.
It is possible to have a religion without a relationship; however the two must be there.
The first step is that you must count everything as loss. God's will is for us to be poor in the Spirit. That you are hungry and thirsty in the spirit and nothing can sanctify that thirst except God. Anything that you have in your life that you cannot let go off for God has taken the place of God in your life and must be silenced.

Stop timing God in the place of prayers

Have seasons where you take out ample time and just focus on God

The first thing the Holy Spirit works on in a believer is his mindset.

The reward of searching for God is God.

Whenever we talk about prayer, we should always be reminded that we have full access to God.
The devil does not really want you or us to worship him. The idea the devil tries to purport is that we are the ruler of our own life, Placing our pleasure, comfort and satisfaction in place of God.
What Commands your desire?
Hedonism, the idea that life is all about pleasure. we want God as long as it does not inconvenient us. God as long as it is pleasurable for us,

Easter is important to us as Christians because it's a reminder of what God did for us, the death of Jesus made forgiveness of sin possible.
How to respond to the deity of Jesus and the first response is consecration.
Consecration is not always in the big things, it's also in the little things that you think do not matter.
Your faith walk is a war. Fight the good fight of faith. Your walk with God will take work.

The Glory of God is shown in the Salvation Plan.
In the Old Testament, Glory was localized because it was in one person (the prophet). However, in Christ, greatness became common. (Col 1:25-27). Christ in you, the hope of Glory. The riches of the Glory of God is that Christ be in you.
Christ in you gives you the confidence that you can do those miracles and all He did.
The miraculous act of God has not ceased in our days. The riches of the Glory of God are that He brought salvation and made greatness common - His Glory available for us to share and walk in.
The Glory of God can be discerned in 4 ways.

How To Have Faith For Supply
1. Verify and trust God’s willingness and ability
Every case of doubt we ever face is hinged on our perspective of God’s willingness and his ability. We investigate by Gods word.

Take a cue from Elijah. Learn to tarry even in the face of daunting disappointment.
3. Learn to hold on to the seemingly little acts of God in response to your prayer.
Elijah stayed in prayer and even when he saw a seemingly small sign in the cloud that was the size of a man’s hand, he held on to it and proclaimed victory
God does reward givings. There is no doctrine around how God will reward giving. It may not always be money, but God will reward. He is faithful.

You cannot resist the devil through willpower. You resist him by submitting under God. Your temptations with money will not stop because you have enough.

Giving is Christian practice. Don’t wait till there’s an instruction or divine prompting.

Satisfaction comes from purpose. If you don’t know why God gives money, you will never be satisfied.

You don't love people the way you know how to love; you love them the way they want to be loved. Apply that principle to your relationship with God.

Don't let trials reveal your lack of commitment to God. If you are seeking spiritual growth, don't try to push it, it takes a lot of effort, but if you put in the effort, you will see the reward.
3 Things to do in pursuit of Spiritual Growth.
- Discipline Yourself- Discipline yourself to agree with God's word in your life.
- Tame your Flesh.
- Fellowship- Don't fall into the trap of isolation; it's the devil's strategy.
THERE'S NO MEANING OUTSIDE JESUS
There's no meaning outside serving Jesus, life itself is not satisfying. We make a mistake thinking if we just had a little bit more we would be satisfied. The solution to the dissatisfactions we face is something bigger than ourselves.
IN CHRISTIANITY, WE PICK UP A BURDEN
When it comes to God's burden, His agenda, and His work, there is no classification. No man is too small to be used by God and yet no man is too big to be used by God. No man is too insignificant to be used by God.
SERVICE IS TRAINING
When you serve in Church, all your service is training for something else, something bigger, something more. When the Lord calls you & He says pray every morning by 2 AM, know that the prayer is not the end in itself, it is a means to another end. The prayer is training for something else.
Christ is the proper lens we must view the Old Testament.
Listen to understand how to properly study the bible.
Our knowledge of Jesus must grow beyond emotions. It must be logical. Why do we believe in Jesus? Why do we believe He is the son of God? What does it mean that He died for our sins? What is the implication of the resurrection on our life? What is expected of us when we know these things?
JESUS CHANGED EVERYTHING Jesus changed the narrative, He changed how we see life. Almost all religions promise life after this one. Some claim that there is a way you can live in this world and live a life separate from this life. Almost every other one would promise you when you die there is somewhere you go to, a state of peace that you attain. But none of these religions proves in themselves the validity of what they claim.
YOUR RESPONSE TO THE DEITY OF JESUS
Our first response to the deity of Jesus is consecration, to be set apart. There is a demand for consecration that commitment to anybody places on you. When we glean Jesus as Holy, as Set Apart, as Lord in our lives, there is a way His Lordship must influence our lifestyle. We can tell that Jesus has influenced your lifestyle when we see the way you behave. Lifestyle changes must be evident in your life.
CONSECRATION GOES BEYOND "IS IT A SIN?"
All things are lawful but not all things are expedient which means it doesn't help you achieve your goal or your purpose. Consecration goes beyond "Is it a sin?" Consecration is "Does God want it for me?" It may be right for someone else but wrong for you. There are certain things the Lord would give you as consecration, you must stay on them.
Spiritual Warfare.
2 Corinthians 10:4-5.
Why Spiritual Warfare? The weapons of our warfare are not carnal; they are not physical or driven by the flesh. They are mighty through God. The weapons have no effect, but with the hands of God become mighty. When God takes hold of a man's imagination, He creates a force that the kingdom of hell can not handle.
The point of warfare is the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ in the lives of men. The devil is fighting for your heart.
How Spiritual Warfare must be waged?

Jesus' entire life is the fulfilment of many prophesies that were given before He came. Prophesies help us know that Jesus is God.

SONSHIP.
God is looking for people who will be responsible for the body of Christ. Grace does not multiply by prayer; it multiplies by use. It is the responsibility of sons to grow the Kingdom.
Seize every opportunity God gives you for growth. Learn to take responsibility for your growth. It is our responsibility as Christians to sponsor the Gospel with our money.
WHO IS JESUS? WHY JESUS? It is possible to be aware of a person and not know the person. "I believe in God" is not enough. What do you believe? What about God do you know? Believing in God is not enough, we must examine fully who He is and what His promises are.
GOD IS A SPIRIT: God is a spirit, spirits don't have gender, so the fact that Jesus ascended into heaven in human flesh shows you that heaven is no longer just a place for spirits its a place for man as well. In ascending into heaven in the likeness of human flesh, He made it open for humans as well.
JESUS IS TRULY GOD AND TRULY MAN: If you say Jesus is fully God, then how did He die? To die, He stripped himself of divinity, allowing himself to die. On the other hand, if He was fully man, then how did He walk on water, how did He command the waves? But He was truly God in that we could see His divine attributes, and He was truly man in that we could see His human nature.
Fundamentals of Spiritual Growth.
Spiritual Growth is not manifestation of Spiritual gift.
The first Stage of Spiritual Growth is the Baby Stage. This is the Salvation Stage.
Character of the baby Christian 1. The Training Stage. Hebrews 5-6 Needing people to explaining the fundamental principles. 2. Deception. Ephesians 4:14
The Zeal of the Lord.
God jealously guard what is his.
There are several aspect of our lives we must live up to God and trust Him for.
A life of purpose is not lived just on ambition alone.
If God will change your life, you just change the way you think. If God wants to change a man's life, He will start by giving that man the right mentality.
Purpose gives you a sense of fortitude for the future. If our lives will count for something, we must develop the courage to change the way our minds work.
Success doesn't guarantee satisfaction. Satisfaction doesn't come from abundance it comes from purpose. The miracles are the icing on the cake, the word itself is the cake.
True satisfaction and eventual meaning don't come from abundance but it comes from purpose.
Every time you see someone doing what you believe you were born to do. It should do two things for you: a. Let you know that it is possible (IF THEY CAN THEN I CAN). b. Inspire you to go and start.
THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT SUCCESS. WHEN YOU SEE SOMEONE DOING SOMETHING YOU KNOW YOU WERE BORN TO DO: 1. Learn to see a picture of possibilities. 2. Every time fear and doubt hinder you from moving in the direction god will have you move, you miss the things god has for you. 3. The goal is to live a life of purpose, and because the goal is to live a life of purpose we have no finish line until we see Jesus. 4. Purpose works best when we have a sense of accountability. 5. Purpose pushes you to embrace risk.
Purpose is more about the Creator has not worked or walked in purpose. If you make or you buy a thing for a purpose and the thing doesn't fulfill that purpose, it doesn't matter if the thing. It was useless. The latter part says, for thou has created all things for thy pleasure. They are and were created.
Every proper religion that exists, exists to answer those two questions. The first question is a question of purpose. The second question, is a question of purpose. 1. What is the meaning of my life here? and What if I die now, where am I going to?
- If there's somebody I have to be accountable to am I doing the right thing?
One of the things Jesus came to do was to give your life a purpose He came to give your life meaning.
It is logically inconsistent to believe in purpose without first seeing out a creator. When you see something that you consider to be well designed and well created the first question you ask is who made it the next question is why was it made?

Your life has Value: Your life is valuable because it is valuable to God - not because you're rich or poor not because of your skills but because you were born and created by the most high God, your life is valuable already.

Purpose is not unique: if God created all men the same way, then he created all men for the same thing.

Purpose is not talent: Many times talent require circumstances to be unlocked while some other talents we have may not be useful.
Another thing we don't judge purpose by is if it is making us money. If the creator created you for a purpose then your purpose must matter to him first.
One primary function of prayer is to establish the work of Christ in our sphere. When we Pray?1. We make the impossible possible.2. We establish and insist on God's will for our lives.Prayer is not always to God. Prayer is us partnering with the Spirit
There is no point to your Faith without the resurrection.That Christ rose from the grave, defeated death and sin. He died our death and He rose.
The first thing to learn is that righteousness is a free gift. It was freely given. No man can earn their salvation.Never get too modern with your Christianity that consecration becomes old school.If what you know does not affect your life then you don't really know what you think you know. The proof of knowledge is action.If you want to live better as a Christian you must have fellowship. You must have people in your life that can hold you accountable.We must learn to be stirred to good works when we see others doing so.
Anything that replaces God in your heart is an idol to you.Dear believer, you are called to forgive, stop harboring hate.
After the prayer of Salvation, the most prayed prayer in the Bible is the prayer of knowledge.
God is calling everyone of us to kindness. Being a good Christian, helps you be a better partner. We are complete in Christ.
We learnt what true companionship entails. We are to bear one another's burdens and to build each other up. God didn't make man to exist in solitude
Draw your self love from God, from what Jesus did on the Cross. You are complete by yourself, you don't need any man to complete you.
The law is good and the ten commandments are good but there was a flaw and the flaw was with us. The first problem of sin was not the wrong doing but the consciousness of sin and the condemnation it brought. Moral uprightness is not a requirement of your salvation, it is a product of your salvation. Righteousness means to be in right standing on accordance to God's terms. If God doesn't keep your sins neither should you. It's God's display of righteousness that he justifies you.
Your walk of faith must reflect what you believe. Faith gives evidence. Your good report is at the end of faith.Your life must count for what really matters. Your life tends towards emptiness if it's not ruled by vision.
There is a way retaining God in your consciousness orders your affection. Sin is the end result of inordinate desire.God does not forgive because we asked for it, God forgives because blood was shed.
Progress in the faith is discernable. Progress in the faith happens when there is jou in the faith. Progress in the faith is programmable. If you must grow as God's children, it is God's word that must do the growing. You're saved by what you know. Hosea 4:6.Train yourself this year to pay attention to God's word.It is possible to be unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Behind every attempt of the devil to keep you unfruitful is an identity crises. Make sure the most important definition you give yourself is Christ died for me.

The reason we celebrate Christmas is that in Christ's birth, God recreated everything out of nothing.The birth of Christ is the registration of possibilities.Christ's birth is worth celebrating, it is something to shout about.
No believer should draw their identity from their sexual orientation.When a believer battles with sin, identify the problem and correct in love.Discipleship should be friendship. Be patient, pray for them, set systems and structures.As a believer you can't hate people because of their appearance. It is paradoxical. Train yourself to see them as people Christ died for.
Make good choices especially in relationships. Build a healthy sense of self worth.Keep yourself, don't let the media narrative rule your life.

- You can't impact the world for Jesus on your own.- Before you tell people to live a holy life, tell them about the Holy Spirit.- The most important thing a believer must learn is alignment.- God's plan is for His government on earth to mirror his government in heaven.- In a bid for your light to shine before men, step out of the way.- It is your responsibility to reflect the light if Jesus.

-Light does not negotiate with darkness, it just shines.- You do not balance being a Christian and being in the world, you are a Christian living in the world.- The Bible precedence for Christian walk is to leave all and follow.- The Salvation message is ineffective if you don't tell it - Your Christianity is supposed to make you stand out.It is a dangerous thing to be a lukewarm Christian because three things can happen:1. God doesn't trust you.2. The devil knows you're easy prey3. Men don't come to you.
Building Spiritual Muscles. There are ways to build yourselves spiritually.- A man of consecration won't pray too many wasted prayers.- Prayer calls you to a place of total consecration.- Sometimes you run because it's necessary to run, but sometimes you would run because you're training yourself to run.- Your Spirit has a muscle, you can train it, there's a spirit diet. It is called PRAYER.

Do you find books and write ups more relatable when you read in the writer's voice?
Well, that's because you understand whatever is written better when you read like the writer wants you to read.
If you wrote a letter, you would expect that your intention behind that letter would not be misconstrued.
Same goes with the Bible. God is not mysterious in a sense that he doesn't want to be known.
On the contrary, he wants to be known. He gave us 66books to prove that!
However, the Bible is still largely misunderstood. That's because we tend to isolate normal rules of literature when reading scripture.
He Understands!
God took on flesh and lived amongst us. He was hungry like us, he got tired like we do, he slept, just like us.
He is not indifferent to our struggles as humans, he understands.
Because Jesus came as a man and died for us, he made us just like him.
The deepest revelation of what Jesus did is found in it’s application and effect in our lives.
He paid the price that we could never pay and he gave us his spirit.
Because Jesus lives, we have a living hope.
So dear believer, the next time you think of the sacrifice of Jesus, remember that he did it all for you.
God has standards and many times those standards are not the standards of men.

As a Christian your love for God is expressed in the belief of the gospel. Your love walk is in the gospel.
True love is shown in the preaching of the gospel.
Our actions of good as Christians should come from a place of understanding God's actions of good towards us.
Learn to brag about God's love for you.
It is in appreciating God's love for you that you can give it to others.
One of the marks of spiritual growth is spiritual intelligence.
There are improper ways to be discerning and one of such would be to always expect the supernatural to be spectacular. Most often than not, you'd miss the supernatural if you only chase the spectacular.
Rather, in discernment, let the word of God guide you. Let it be the light on your path.
As believers, we are to evaluate every experience through the lens of God's word.
The question on our heart should always be
'Does this align with what the word of God says?'
To do this, we would have to be good bible students.
With a vibrant prayer life and a healthy bible study culture, we can grow in discernment
Make a commitment to give yourself to bible study this week.
And by all means, stay prayed up!
God does not need principles to bless you. After all, he causes the sun to shine on believers and unbelievers alike.
God is a giving God and if He could give you his son, there is nothing He would hold back from you. God cares about your well-being and He wants you to prosper. He is moved by your tears, what kind of a father will not?
The only principles that should drive your prayers is the love and relationship you share with God.
You may ask then,
"How long should I pray?"
Pray till you see the answers to your prayers.
It may take some time, but think of it like pap, you just need a little more hot water for it to form perfectly.
Don't give up stirring till it's formed.

Prayer and the Sovereignty of God
Synchronicity is the simultaneous occurrence of events which appear significantly related but have no discernible casual connection.
All this spri spri simply means a group of coincidences that don't look like they are connected but, in the end, you realize that they are actually connected.
This is exactly how God works in our lives and most times we don't even know it.
God's plan is that all men be saved.
God's personal will for you is seen through the lens of the salvation plan.
It's okay to pray for your needs but when exactly are you going to become conscious of the things that God is conscious about?
Remember, the science behind favor is doing God's will
Fall in line with God's will.
After salvation, revelation knowledge is the next best thing.
When you don't know what you have, the devil would take advantage of your ignorance.
One the things you need to know is that you are SEATED! You are seated with Christ in Heavenly places.
This means two things

You are far above all principalities, sin and demons. You have AUTHORITY!

You have been forgiven, once and for all time. Hebrews 10:1-14.
Knowing these should affect how you live. You have been shown grace, so be gracious to others. You've been forgiven, so forgive others. You've been justified, so do not let the devil condemn you.
You are SEATED with Christ in Heavenly places!
