In these stories and anecdotes life experience becomes the joy we receive and share. Because who are we? Who are we not! Define all you can accomplish, be and do.
When does the problem-free day occur and is that a descriptor for what life, realized, should be? If, through conflict, we realize the joys of our lives, how do we redefine problem?
What brings the most truthful expressions of self? What is it about us that keeps our own joy at arm's length? In what activity does your purpose lie and are you exercising it today?
How often do we say and hear, "I'm fine." What if we're not fine? Is it time for a reckoning?
Even in the most heated argument a calm space is available. Require it of yourself and, by example, require it of others.
How prepared are we for the things that put us over the edge and how familiar are we WITH the edge? How do we receive gifts of instability that cause us to become unhinged?
As long as I use external sources as my primary source of information and direction I am always slightly missing the point: Only I know what is truly best for me. What if we have an inner source of wisdom at all times? When we need internal guidance can we make the connection?
What about this have I created myself and I am refusing to let go? We must move in ways that develop our unique internal harmony.
What are we here for? What are we when we leave here? What do we understand about our expression of self while we are here?
Look at your life. What problems do you have that you could simply move away from or move into and solve?
Look at yourself, are you the solution or the problem?
Describe a time when you felt attacked and you didn't get the help that you needed. The support wasn't there. Or a time when you were dragged down by another who needed you. When was the last time you felt supported? When was the last time you were needed and did you fail at giving support? How can we change the narrative?
Are we willing to be self-aware, to ask difficult questions? Do we choose to distract ourselves from the most meaningful aspects of our lives and what is the cumulative effect?
If compatibility was the number one goal in your life for a 24 hour period, what would you have to change?
"I can fix it, I can work it out, I can be anything and do anything." When is it better to reach for neutrality?
"If I were to do more of what I am doing in this moment, where will that take me?" We never really arrive until we put what we have learned, joy, pain, struggles, into the service of ourselves and others. Ask yourself, "Where does my strength lie?" There is something that you are here to do. Do it.
What do we choose as the model we use for love, family, interaction with others and even ourselves? Can we change it?
Do we have the power to admire, to judge? I give the gift of power to myself and I choose to receive it.
How quickly does a good day turn bad? When we refuse to allow anger and bitterness to make us small, we experience the possibility and probability of delight.
The goal of understanding what is purely ‘me’ to be. Am I expressing myself with strength or rigidity? Am I rule-bound or free?
What stories do we tell ourselves about our lives that keep us bound or embolden us? Can we free ourselves?
How can I live my life in a way that satisfies me and allows me the freedom to express myself? Dissatisfaction hangs, unsatisfactory behavior remains and I can't see anyone that provides the guiding light, that I would call teacher or that I would follow as guide. When none of us is able to offer the help that any of us needs, what do we do? When we look around and see so little and yet we know we are surrounded by plenty, what is it that has made us shrink so small? When I look around my life and see no words to say then I should say nothing ... wait ... wait until the words ask to be spoken. Allow stillness to grow. Allow the space to be.
We become the story we tell ourselves about everyone and everything around us. Life is simple, how entangled are the stories and how much energy do they require? Can we see what is around us without the story we tell about it, looking through the eyes of past hurt? Life becomes a boring exercise of the same old stories instead of the expression of a new day. Move away from the drama of trauma.
The expression of you is what you are here to do. Someone else may see what you do as worthy or unworthy. Others may see what you do as not quite right and they are correct, it is right for you. As close as we may be with others the time always comes when separation and distinction occurs. That distinction raises us to be who we are. How often to do I judge myself for not being like others and the me stops growing so I can be accepted? Me is the me that I am here to be. Love what is you.
What do we hold as true and what do we measure against it? What is the reward for minimized effort, skimming through our lives simply reflecting what is around us? Why should I worry about what people say or think or do when they are simply reflections reflecting reflections? Nothing true or real. Find a way to let your soul sing and your fingertips express the art that moves through you. Extend and expand yourself in a way that will become beauty even if it is contentious. Never allow yourself to sit dumb, silenced by the expressions of others that are merely reflections. Follow people that stand strong. Look for depth. Look for real.
What conclusion to do you come to when you look at your life? Do you understand what you are here to do and are you able to do it? Can we build the skill set that will lead us to our goal? Does realization of our goal bring the soul peace? Does it bring the glory the ego craves? Does it solve the mysteries that trouble us and lay our traumas to rest? What is YOU to do? Have you attempted it? It is in the trying that the DOing comes. If we refuse to try we will never DO. Allow challenge and opportunity, overcome fear and give it one more try.
Is home my house, my country, my planet? Is home my spirit or soul? Unless and until we make the planet home for all it is home for none. Unless and until we make all safe, we are all endangered. Allow love today. The human family is my family. The planet is my home.
Possibility brings life to life! If I tell myself I am trapped, I am trapped. Allow anger to express itself before it becomes your internal dialogue. Imagine life expanding into spaces far past the norm. We hate unfamiliarity but that is growth. Discover the possibility of this new day!
When you lay in bed at night and start to drift off is there a part of you that wrestles and will not lay at peace? It must replay the day, or spin backward into days past, or imagine difficult times going forward, and will not allow you to rest? And what about the greater, spiritual part? Where is that while the brain struggles and is constantly dissatisfied? If we can’t achieve peace within ourselves, how can we achieve peace on the planet? Understand the parts of your being and how they move through each moment together or in battle.
The Story of Me. Is that all there is because if it is, it hasn’t been enough. What choices do I have to make it better, to make it escalate toward the conclusion that I want to see, the better me? The answers do exist. This isn’t all there is to the story of me, the sad conclusion of not enough. What is the one thing that you feel you must do? Is the Story of the Truth of You?
Sometimes life feels like a battlefield. Do we know what battle we are fighting? Real or imagined? What choice do we have?
How do I pick a love partner? Building the energy of love attracts love. Energy never takes a break. Energy is always building in one form or another. As we build our expression of love we grow as a creator and attract others. Find love, know love, be love.
I was vaccinated against Covid and arriving before sunrise I saw people who were old and broken, walking with canes or crutches over the cobblestone street, I saw young people who had been there all night holding place for their parents or grandparents and I felt the drive to live. This life will expire one day and we will want more. Life is a precious gift worth fighting for in every breath.
I’ve been posting creations created by my friends recently and it’s astonishing what people can do each day. They do it through the gifts they have gleaned through practice.
There is something that is you to do, do it. Observe, express, develop, practice and share. This planet is a blank canvas on which to create!
If I were to struggle just a little bit to be happier where would I begin? It would be easier to avoid, ignore, deny but I’m not going to. I’m going to take time instead to Do It. My life will become easier and, therefore, happier.
We struggle for happiness and yet we refuse to do the things that will allow happiness to grow and live.
When new things come it needn’t be a struggle against what was. It can simply be like the new shoot that grows on the vine, tender and green reaching into a new space supported by the sunlight, water, soil and the old growth.
Struggle is simply new growth. The result is … happier.
I will play today because there are many ways to reach happily ever after. How do we make sure it ends happily ever after when conflict is added to the story? We can learn as much through play as through difficulty so play!
I commit to a beautiful, new perspective. How much of our perspective is free choice and what is the combination of biology, sociology and psychology? All of these combine to influence the choices we make every day. When those choices are difficult and we find ourselves looping around the same mistakes we’ve made in the past, influenced by the same behaviors, we stumble and fall repeatedly. Look out over the landscape of your life. How’s the view?
The day may be filled with difficulties and challenges, turbulence and uncertainty but you can create your own reward. When the world hands you difficulty, create. If your soul is not given a voice it struggles against the bounds of your heart. It pushes against your arms and legs “Get up! Do something!” When nothing around you brings joy, create it. See the cohesion of your experience. Turbulent times can build strength and expression of purpose!
Wave the Magic Wand of what you would like to see, have, do and what you no longer struggle with and no longer want to attract. Understand what you want in life.
As we know better we do better. We take accountability and responsibility for our actions and for our place in painful experiences. Accountability brings joy. What can you do differently now that you know differently?
Tumultuous times come. Life is a wheel that is constantly turning. As that wheel keep turns we are meant to keep growing, living and learning.
The world depends upon us – me, you – to stand up and make it better. There is nothing whatsoever weak or small or ‘mistake’ about us. As we learn who we are this life will bend itself to our will and why shouldn’t it?
The Almighty is actually the Mighty within All. We can create differently. We can create better.
When we allow the spirit within ourselves to be great and mighty every single thing in our lives begins to change. If we separate from that, we become stiff and still. We are guided by others instead of our creative ability expressing and expanding itself.
You are strong and mighty. You are Creation with a capital ‘C’. Trust yourself to grow, create and rebuild. The world depends on it.
Life isn’t that hard to figure out if you stop and think. And what wonder when the puzzle pieces fit!
What age do you feel? The physical body doesn’t always reflect the spirit and vice versa. The spirit may be downtrodden and ready to give up while the body is young and fit. The spirit may feel alive and young and heart while the body is breathing its last breath. How do we, and should we, align body with spirit?
Willingness is a spiritual path whether you define it as finding comfort, faith or simply resourcefulness.
Scared? Worried? Concerned about what your next move might be? Made mistakes in the past and only expand to a certain radius before you pull back?
It’s only a mistake if we look with judgment instead of love and compassion.
If I am judge and jury who is my ally? How can I take a risk? When we risk, we allow expansion and great discoveries. When we discover, Creation applauds..
If you feel frustration, when you feel fear, if you slip into suffering the practice of love holds us in good stead.
We are Divine One Spirit. Allow yourself a moment of stillness, the clarity of knowing what you want and the commitment to do what it takes. Whatever is calling to us, is through us. Allow the magic of your divinity.
Learn how to set intention, manifest it into action and align with creation. We all have this ability in our tool chest.
Thank you for listening!
Allow, embrace, embellish the bright side of life. Who brings positivity and do you nurture it? We don’t need a brief break from the negativity, we need to grow what is good for us.
Prepare yourself for life. What are you creating? Create joy, because joy will get you through. Everything will fall in place behind it. Be yourself, know who you are.
The truth is, I am here for you and you are here for me and as long as we understand that we can achieve great things together.
What whispers to you “As much as I love where I am right now I feel a new dream beckon”?
As you look back and see the pain you’ve struggled through and the obstacles you’ve overcome, how can you discover a new way to live and love? When we put our heads together we find a way to make those dreams real.
This map-making that allows us to be the best possible we, we can be.
Thank you for listening!

We must find a practice that brings us from anger, humiliation, frustration, blame and attack to praise for what we are able to do with our body, heart and love. As we find a way for our love to grow and our stability to process we find a way to hold our innermost core in a place of peaceful calm.
Where is the gratitude in your life and how are you able to source it when there is nothing to be grateful for and everything to be angry about? When the hurt surmounts the peace? When the pain is too overwhelming to bear and there is no one but you?
“I will find a way to remind myself who I am.”

These difficult times are a breeding ground for anger. What is served when anger is the master?
You may be right, but you will be lonely. You may have the last word but it falls on deaf ears. The only way to survive is to love, listen and find commonality.
What if my next lesson was compassion? To see something I had not yet seen? In my anger, I drove all my teachers away.

We are cared for when we learn to care for ourselves.
Trauma never really disappears. Suffering is when we bring the pain from the past into today and then we project it into the future.
When a crack in the pain opens a tiny bit The Observer (our True Self) shines through with love. The pain of yesterday need not ever be the suffering of today or the unworthiness of tomorrow.

Is a change of direction tapping you on the shoulder? What are your sources of information, inspiration, definition and most importantly personal observation?
Understanding sources and how to put them into practice:
The Observer Within. We must learn how to still the internal chatter so we can source our true wisdom and direction. Define your guiding influence.
A Trusted Group in times of uncertainty to help reassess your path.
As we choose to align with our Inner Observer our our path becomes a beautiful experience.

Trapped? Domestic violence, pandemic and moving beyond fear in confinement.
“I can do whatever it takes, in this moment, to survive.” Once the physical body has survived, the spirit will thrive … no longer allowing fear to dominate.
Grace is moving beyond domination. We may be dominated but we are never powerless.

When we feel like giving up, what new beginning rises within us in these times of uncertainty? Pain moves hand-in-hand with joy; don’t move in fear from it, move through it, prepare beyond it creating Future.
Make a list of the gifts you have been given, the battles you have waged and won and create hope. Life is meant to be a force of creative energy, building, strengthening, and teaching us how to move through challenges, receive joy and put it into service. Make a plan greater than anything you have built in the past, full of possibility.

Reality is changing us in every breath of every day. We may feel stuck in a perpetual Ground Hog Day but every minute is the opportunity and reality of change.
How do we move through change? When it’s my turn to experience something difficult, if I weave myself into my cocoon of metamorphosis and share nothing what benefit is there for my friends and family? Sometimes a template shared by someone we trust is more valuable than one shared by an expert. That is where we see truth.
What do you share?
When you reach a place of powerlessness what do you reach for?
When we know how to transcend difficulty we can receive joy and share it.
Balance is the most difficult thing to achieve. Struggle within us is magnified in our children and the struggle of my parents is magnified in me. We tell ourselves we do not deserve love and we have not learned how to create it for ourselves, within ourselves.
In this episode:
We discover simple self-love in a balanced, peaceful way.
We experience nature while we’re stuck indoors.
We find a way to create worthiness and love within us and that magnifies.
Love can’t always come from someone else. Love looking for completion can become hatred. Find a way to balance pain with love.
Trust in knowing that not-knowing is the best way to be. How do we know what challenges will await and awaken us? We have choices to make, how do we look at those choices? Am I filled with anxiety? Am I filled with joy in the knowledge and trust that I have what it takes to make this experiential learning what it needs to be for my soul’s growth?
Unless and until we realize that the soul’s growth is the plan, we will always be struggling over the decisions and tragedies that befall us.
How small must our world become before we realize it’s no longer comfortable, it’s something that allows us to avoid and deny? Find a way to transmute that energy into love. Learn to break out of your comfort zone so that you can be trapped within and find it a comfortable spiritual space, a learning and loving place. Do the soul work you are here to do.

If you were to look at your Big Dream what is it’s embodiment for you?
We have a window of opportunity – quiet time— “My Big Dream … I remember it now … it goes like this …”
Explore, spend time in the quiet of your mind, allow the light of your attention to shine upon it, allow love to encompass and embrace it and with that love your Dream will grow.
“What if this is the exact moment, the opportunity for my Big Dream to help others?” Doubt does not serve you well. You are not isolated or limited. Your Big Dream has not abandoned you, embrace it.
The global anxiety is a hum, static that flows in, through and around us. The individual challenges we suffer become magnified on the global scale. We all may be reacting to and through it. How can we turn down the static?
“What is unique for me to do and have I put my hand to it? Can I use this as impetus to say what am I here to do and begin to do it? If Love exists in me in a unique form what have I done with it?”
The quarantine is a birthplace for understanding who you are on Planet Earth. Use this time to feel the global energy of unexpressed creativity.
If nothing is left of you tomorrow but your creation today, what stands for you?

Each can be lifted by the other. We are not helpless, we are full of help and so be helpful! Reach into our divine creativity and create something today.
If we are simply spending our time in difficulty, always struggling, what do we do when the struggle comes to an end except … end? What stands for us? What shows the planet what we have carried within us?
“What have I created that carries forward as the delight that is me on planet Earth? Have I learned what is within me or do I simply have a body form that moves forward without stopping to think about it?"
Create, love, journey through planet Earth as the explorer you are, discovering your divine nature.
Where is truth and love in your life? What is your destiny, your legacy? “Even if I can’t change the planet I can begin with myself. I can change a little square of my life.” Do you see scarcity or joy and how do you share it? You are the creator of truth and beauty in the spirit of love in your life. If you can do it in no other way than through the words that you tell yourself in the quiet of your own mind then let that be your workshop. “This is my canvas, what beauty will I create today?”
How much of our lives are influenced by others? Everything! If we only ever look after ourselves it’s a lonely place to be. People say “It’s lonely at the top” but it needn’t be. How do we measure top from bottom? If you had to pick your place, where are you? Where do you want to be?
Sometimes creation is hard. It grows in darkness and pain, comes out screaming at its birth. Will you live to see it grow into something great in the tiny little window of life on planet Earth? All we can do is create and hold it in our outstretched hand.
“Have I defined what I am here to create? If I choose not to define it, what is defining me in its absence?”
Once we are grown we no longer make mistakes, we make choices. We must set aside blame and determining factors outside ourselves as well as those within that we choose not to focus on but we allow to move us … Blind spots.
“What is my purpose? Have I given it full expression? Do I allow myself to be trapped and to grow small?”
When we choose to spread our wings we fly in joy, sureness and on purpose!
Here we are in our last breath, on our last day, we look in the mirror and what do we say? Have we done enough? Ask yourself, “What do I want more of in my life?” Can you hear the call?
This is a call for courageous partners. How many times do we choose to sacrifice another marriage, job, friendship or even just an hour of peace and well-being because childhood wounds are causing us pain? Through Time Out for Transformation using a variety of methods in a safe environment you will understand how childhood wounds are affecting you. We can heal ourselves in community. Be a courageous partner in creating this healing community because love always wins.
Anger, mental health issues play heavily on children. It’s my divine right and my spiritual obligation to clean up as much mess within and around myself today and everyday going forward.
What about what you are seeing, feeling and doing needs to be recreated? If through your choices you are creating a conduit to the future do you make that travel easy for them? Do you make their life more willing, more creative? Or do you make them shrink smaller still than you are today in your difficulty? Unless and until you are making choices that are magnified in a joyous way, you are making choices that are magnifying pain and difficulty.
I take that responsibility upon myself. My choices inhibit or enliven. Find a way for the spirit to blossom.
What happens when you throw a caterpillar in the air and say “Fly!”?
It seems like I’ve grown strong but there are parts of me that are just as weak as I’ve ever been. How do we move through change? How do we receive joy? Overjoyed? Past joy and straight into anxiety? During this move my hair has been falling out by the handful, I’m arguing with my husband. How am I moving through change? Badly.
Can I take a time-out and say “I’m not ready for this.” How do we restore equilibrium, peace and inspiration instead of distress and lack of motivation? How do we transform that energy from negativity into positivity, apply it and allow ourselves to move forward?
What are you doing today that is beyond your capabilities? What are you applying yourself to that needs more energy? What are you keeping yourself from that would bring delight? What is being asked of you that you need to say no? “I need to understand who I am before I can offer it to someone else.” “Where is my rejuvination? Quiet time? Metamorphosis?” Through restoration comes transformation.
We have the power to recreate ourselves. Even joy and love can be expressed in a new way if we allow ourselves to grow.
We need to learn to evolve in a quick way so that we can move into each moment alive and thriving.
When we arrive at wonderful ‘enough’ we keep it that way. We think it’s the best it’s going to get. How do we know? We make love in a certain way, we drive to work, we fall into the same routines. Even though we bitch, we like the old way. We are capable of learning but we have told ourselves a story, “When I keep doing it this way, I get this result.” Until we don’t.
What if? “Do I know how to drop and roll if I need to?” Tomorrow you may need to create yourself in a new way or be left behind. That can be painful when it happens upon you. Are you going to be a poor character in a nasty, negative story? “What has the world come to?” Having to live your life in a new way, whether you like it or not?
Like the Chinese curse “May you live in interesting times.” Those times are interesting because they are growing you in very painful ways. How can I find new ways that allow me to move through my life with grace and ease in a way that is better than yesterday? Calm, assured, with strength of purpose?
Spirit will always grow us. It will tug at our sleeve, whisper in our ear, show us new ways to do things. Recognize the same old ways that are not working that well. Are you letting yourself explore new ways, just in case? Those hardened pathways in the brain can give you the same hardened result … Grow your brain. Find a new way.
When we look at other places we imagine they are living a more difficult life, according to our own perspective. We think we have more. Other countries may have less stuff and yet when they are questioned about how they feel in relation to their work, where they live, their families, they grade themselves as being happier than we do when we look at ourselves. Over and over again we grade ourselves as not having a good sense of well-being.
I must look around my life and decide what I’m doing that serves me well, what serves me poorly and what I can and can’t do about it. Enough is enough. I choose to be accountable for my own happiness … how happy am I? Grade yourself: sense of well-being, love-making, creativity, physical activity, fitness. If I lost all this tomorrow would it break my heart? Would I be able to begin again with nothing? House gone, spouse, children gone, just the breath in my lungs, the sun in the sky. Would I be capable of going forward?
Do you have the sense of well-being, the creativity, the physical health to be able to learn a new way? Take responsibility for it, this planet is here for your use, use it! If you are not happy, make yourself so. Grow your mind, feed your spirit.
Love wins. It occurred to me yesterday that my last break up was my last break up. Break ups are devastating. As wonderful as someone might be, they might not be right for us. How do we live in a healthy fashion so that our spirit and emotions are healthy? We need to stop making the terrible mistakes. Take a good hard look at where you are and where you are not. Where do you imagine yourself being? What gives your soul and spirit joy? What makes you younger while you are doing it? What are we doing that doesn’t hurt? So many of us are doing things that are damaging and devastating. How do we stand as an example through the wounds that we suffer and the wounds that we cause? Our kids are watching.
Ask for the love you need and listen for it. Open your mind. Open your spirit to receive. Be willing to hear, feel … because love wins.
Two years ago now I was sitting beside my dying dog and I was questioning whether I could put her down. I saw her suffer more and more as each moment passed. I asked for answers. I have peace in my soul with regard to that life-changing question. I had no idea that I had been practicing devotional meditation. When you have questions, and we all do, ask your question, find the meditation practice that works for you and practice it. Renew the conversation. The answers are all around us in the way that you need to hear them. Suffer the illusion of suffering alone no longer. Share your answers out on the planet because you have no idea who is waiting to hear from you. We do not walk alone.
How much of my time am I aware of what I am doing and how often am I moving on autopilot? The brain can’t tell us what is best; its judgment is always skewed. It can overreach itself. How do we know the brain is taking us down the right path? How do we know which way is True North? My mind or ego always keeps me separate from others, its way only every serves the one – Me. When I move out of ego and into spirit I can’t lie to myself.
Mind, ego, can lead us down a dark path. We need to use the brain for what it is intended to be used for, doing the math of how to get from A to B. Whatever moves me in meditation helps me to be an easier person on the planet, my energy goes into areas that are good for us all. I don’t go down, fearful, back-biting, competitive paths. I see my mistake. If I’m on a path I shouldn’t be going down, I get off of it quickly.
What connects you with something beyond yourself? 5 minutes of quiet, stillness can help you to truly hear. Not thinking. We can correct our missteps and move into beauty, True North, love. We become a safe place for others. Ask yourself, “When do I give myself a few minutes of quiet?” Allow it. Give yourself permission to rest in the arms of the divine. Change direction or enjoy the reassurance that you are on the right path.
People annoy me. How can those people do those terrible things? How do we make our way through day after day of who is right? Who is wrong? Who gets to judge? How do we keep going? When I allow myself to change my energy, a moment of empathy, a broader view, I stand a little straighter and bow a little more humbly.
The fact is, when I look at the world from the view point of One Spirit, when I am angry, sad or hurt, I am doing it to myself. I need to look at my most harsh judgments of myself and others. Because who am I? Who am I not? I am the hatred, the victim, there is nothing, nowhere I am not. There is nothing I cannot do and nothing I do not do.
Help me move into the creativity of One Spirit. All the horror, beauty and brilliance exists in me. Let’s see what we can do with it.
As I embark on this great adventure, leaving our jobs, homes, families, I wonder who stands up at this age to say, I am ready for a new beginning? We raise our hands to that.
Look around your life today. You can plant your feet, fold your arms and say Not Me. I will not change. Life brings change for you. Life is constant creation. Great changes come. Allow yourself to see what is working, where great growth is coming and where stubbornness is allowing it to become more painful. Can you do it? Of course you can! This planet is here for our use, embrace it! What is whispering in your ear? Tapping you on the shoulder saying Try Me! Move in willingness in the great experience of growth. What is your great dream? It will not be stopped by “I'm not ready. I can't do it.” Yes you can!
