Honolulu PD is trying to seize the legally owned guns of all HI residents that have been given a prescription medical marijuana card. The playing field gets a little crowded when a local PD starts playing in the state and federal areas. Major Bill calls in talking about an officer from the Jacksonville police department that is a BAMF!! Not only did he get shot in the face by a criminal during a traffic stop he took the fight to the bad guy so hard the bad guy hauled butt. But the bad guy was arrested and at his sentencing hearing the officer he shot in the face gave him a bottle of personal lubricant telling him he is going to be needing this where he is going. ( not that we here at Arms Room Radio would condone any such action. ) ;) Maj. Bill also talks about a FD paramedic that was terminated because he video taped one of his patients. This patient happened to be a city commissioner that has made derogatory remarks about the FD in the past. Mike tells us his "ready exercise" story after Kevin calls him on him talking to himself. THE LAMPSHADE....

Bill calls in talking about Clarence Castile, the uncle of Philando Castile. Recently became a reserve officer on the St. Paul Police Department. The guys talk about a few of the different topics in the news lately. One of them being Ol' Shotgun Joe is back at spouting off his foolishness. Former Vice President Joe Biden said that the HERO that Stopped the criminal church shooter in TX shouldn't have had the gun he used to stop the shooting, and he know's cause he wrote the last serious gun control law. Just ask him, he'll tell you.
Happy Veteren's Day to all of our Veteran listeners!! Mike, Kevin and Earl talk with Dr. John Edeen with DRGO.US (Doctors for Responsible Gun Ownership) about his rebuttal he gave to fellow pediatric orthopedic surgeon Dr. Herring's commentary in the Dallas News titled " I have a new definition of 'gun silencer'". Dr. Herring has yet to respond to Dr. John Edeen's rebuttal as he has probably realized Dr. Edeen can "hang" with him in the operating room and can "run and gun" with some of the best of them as Dr. Edeen attends various training classes quite regularly, so HE KNOWS WHAT HE'S TALKING ABOUT. The guys talk about a few different FACTS gun control advocates tend to hate, like 92% of all mass shootings since 2009 have occurred in "gun free" zones. Can you say Target Rich Environment? Speaking of mass shootings, the guys talk about how some churches are handling their own security measures in light of the recent tragedy that took place in a TX church recently. Mike gives us a few Veteren's Day facts most people aren't aware of. Major Bill calls in with a light hearted story about police responding to what they thought was a woman screaming for help. It all turned out for the better when they found out Diego the parrot does a very good impersonation of a woman screaming. Kevin and Mike talk about a new "gun control" bill introduced being called something else NOT sounding like gun control, but it's gun control . Being pushed by the usual characters in the congress and senate. Kevin also talks about a Supreme Court case coming up that the resulting decision will have a huge effect on The Second Amendment.
Congratulations to Kevin on becoming a Grandfather!!! He was out for this episode enjoying his new grand-daughter. Earl was also out on an away mission with his wife. Mike says he was appeasing his wife, actually he was going to a pistol match she wanted to go along so they made a nice long weekend out of it. "Fluffy" ( Kevin ) from Gear and Gun Reviews was in studio this weekend, he and Mike talked a little bit about how the industry is changing in this current political climate. Alex also gives us an update of the goings on in New Jersey. Phil from Guntec USA was finally able to break off of working to give us a call and talk about some of the new rail products they have recently released and some of the new ones on the way. Mike and Earl talk about a man having a ND (negligent discharge) in his apartment... three times. Craig from the Firearms Policy Coalition calls in talking about how most of the "anti-gun" legislation drafted after the tragedy in Las Vegas is not really going anywhere. Craig also talks about the football team donating to anti-gun groups, and gives us an update on what's happening behind the liberal curtain on the left coast. Maj. Bill is able to give us a call this week as well, talking about a case of self defense mis-labeled by the media, shocking right?
This just in... studies are showing that Mass killings are NOT on the rise despite what the mass media is telling you. Also the strict background check laws that CO put into effect aren't working. Imagine that, criminals not paying attention to laws. We have a big announcement!!! Brian Hill from The Complete Combatant has asked the guys at Arms Room Radio to give away one slot in his class Unthinkable. Check out our post on Facebook for the details how to get in the drawing for this class. Finishing the show on a lighter note... kinda. Mike and the guys talk about a Indiana man that made the classic mistake of letting a stripper in with him... and his wife. Soon after he let the woman move in she allegedly stole several firearms from his residence. We can't make this stuff up.....

WHO IS INVITED? UNTHINKABLE is for all skill levels. Newer to the scene? Thinking about personal protection? I don't know anything about guns and I don't own any CAMO!! In William's fast-moving and interactive lecture participants will be led through contemporary theories and current, curated data on the process by which violent criminals select their targets for violent aggression. Particular attention will be paid to the internal mechanisms in play within the criminal psychology, the universe of signifiers around "good guy" behavior, demeanor, and attributes which may actually make selection for attack more likely, as well as considerations for responsible armed citizens to mitigate this risk. Previous iterations of this material have been presented to LE agencies and private citizen groups across the US as well as international LE educational events.
Brian will be focusing on a "lighter" version of The Complete Combatant with mild non-cooperative partners (NO COMBATIVES) and a layered approach on different aspects of self defense from the first sign of danger on up to interaction with the police.

Mike and Earl talked about some excitement that happened at The Arms Room Showroom, let's just say don't have any warrants for your arrest when you try to buy a gun. Kevin was off getting interviewed or some other kind of distraction. Then Earl got distracted by the AWESOME desert bar so Craig Deluz sat in with Mike and Kevin and guest hosted. Earl knew Craig needed to get some "Mike time". Dr. John Edeen stopped by the Mobile Kel-Tec Studios and sat and talked with the guys. Robert Morris from the Polite Society podcast stopped by. Alex Rubian fro the New Jersey Second Amendment Society stopped by and talked with the guys... and Everybody was telling "war stories" of how bad the anti-second amendment sentiment is in their states, I think they might have been trying to one-up each other.
Mike talks about Earl being on generator duty at the Arms Room Showroom as we lost power after Hurricane Irma. Earl was working smarter, not harder. He brought his hammock to hang in the trees in the parking lot. Might as well be comfortable right? The robber that attempted to rob a Starbucks that was thwarted by a civilian is suing that civilian because he feels the civilian used "excessive force" when he held him till police arrived. Update out of OH, the penalty for not telling an officer you are legally armed promptly is being reduced. Mike talks about Trump easing the regulations for firearms export, and talks about how the SHARE Act plays into this. Maj. With this service the only questions your Doctor might ask you about your firearms would be "How do you like those grips?" Dr. John also gives us a report of the aftermath of hurricane Harvey in TX. The guys talk about preparedness in general, not for just a hurricane. Being prepared for "The Zombie Apocalypse" covers everything. If your prepared for that you can pretty much handle anything. Earl gives a rundown on some of the new features on the newly released GLOCK Gen5 19 9mm, a lot has changed, and not much has changed. Maj. Bill calls in with an update on the story out of Punta Gorda in the tragic death of Mary Knowlton during a community demonstration with law enforcement. Ending on a funny, two guys tried to rob a restaurant that was hosting a retirement party for a local law enforcement officer in the next room. They didn't get away with it needless to say...

Of course the media is going to report it in a way that makes the police look bad. The guys also talk about the TSA reporting that they are finding more firearms in luggage at the airports.
Mike, Kevin, and Earl talk about the recent ruling about the D.C. law requiring "good reason" to be unconstitutional. The Second Amendment Foundation ( SAF ) sues over Michigan agency's regulations for foster parents. If you want to be a foster parent in MI you can't exercise your second amendment rights. In the case the guys talk about the caseworker allegedly stated " if you want to care for your grandson you will have to give up some of your constitutional rights". ARE WE STILL IN AMERICA???? Dr. John calls in talking about a class offered by a trauma surgeon and SWAT medic called Tactical Anatomy. This is a class given by a doctor explaining anatomically effective marksmanship... this feels like insider trading, a doctor teaching you where to place rounds on a body to end/stop a threat the quickest and safest. A Starbucks in Fresno had a feisty customer, he saw the store was being robbed by a man with a knife so he hits the robber with a chair. Maj. Bill calls in talking about a Minneapolis mayoral candidate that wants to disarm the police.... wait, what??? Does he really think this will get him elected? The guys have a new favorite country music singer. Jamey Johnson refused to go onstage for a performance at a house of blues after they put up a metal detector outside of the stage entrance the singer and band would be using. It's getting to be more and more like the joke of Kommiefornia. Maj. Bill calls in telling us about a man that called the police to report a theft of his property, the only problem is his property that he reported stolen was Cocaine. And from the absurdity files, USA Today complains that the new movie Dunkirk doesn't have enough women and no lead actors of color. Eric Friday from FL Carry calls us with an update on the Norman open carry case that is before the FL Supreme Court. Dr. John Edeen the Chief Surgeon of Arms Room Radio calls in and talks about the shooting at a Bronx hospital. One person was killed and six more were injured. Bill the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of Arms Room Radio calls in telling us about a situation in NC. Two officers were responding to a call and the suspect pulled a rifle on the officers. One officer ended the possible gunfight with one shot from his issued side arm stopping the threat from the suspect as he was pointing the rifle at the officers partner.

She then had the nerve to complain to the officer that arrested her she was hot in the back of the patrol car.
This week we have updates galore!!! Kevin gives us some financial insight on some updates of the cities settling with the families of both Phinlando Castile and Michael Brown when the officers involved were cleared of any wrong doing. Mike, Kevin, and Earl talk about how H.R. 2909 stinks for the rest of us. In the wake of the shooting in VA at the baseball field this bill would give concealed carry reciprocity to ONLY elected officials licensed in their home states.... WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF US, DO WE NOT DESERVE TO BE ABLE TO DEFEND OURSELVES TOO?!?!?! President Trump says he is sending in the Feds to help fight crime in the city of Chicago. Mike and Kevin talk about a couple of updates on cases that are going and NOT going before the Supreme Court and how that may be a good thing. Maj. Bill calls in with updates on the story about the LAPD cadets that stole a couple of police cruisers. He also gives us and update on the story out of Punta Gorda where a citizen was accidentally shot and killed during a training demo. They go in-depth on how the usual rhetoric we heard from the left about needing more background checks wouldn't have made a difference. The guys also talk about how the "gun tax" in the city of Seattle failed to work the way it was claimed it would.... and violent crimes spiked in the mean time. Maj. Bill calls in with a story involving the LAPD, seems they were involved in a pursuit recently. They had to chase a couple of their own police cruisers that were stolen by LAPD cadets. The guys have a little fun with this story.

Bill also talks about how law enforcement responded in the terror attack in London, how most of the on scene officers were unarmed.
Chicago the city with some of the strictest gun control laws in the county almost broke last years record on Memorial Day weekend with 49 shot and 6 killed. Bloomberg funded Crazy Mom's demanding everything founder Shannon Watts claims the gun lobby used the word "Suppressor" instead of "Silencer" in an effort to confuse the members of her group so they won't talk about how dangerous they are. A little good news out of PA, a bill is being pushed that would make gun owners a "protected class". Maj. Bill calls in telling us about the bill President Trump signed giving federal grant money to federal and state law enforcement agencies that hire veterans. All of this and Mike, Kevin and Earl's usual high jinx on this episode of Arms Room Radio!!!! What more could you ask for???
Mike, Kevin and Earl talk to Craig from the Firearms Policy Coalition about a couple of big wins in CA. Democratic lawmakers want to make a "straw purchase" of a firearm a crime... uh... it's already illegal. Kevin sets us straight that they are actually looking to make a straw purchase a charge and not have to use another charge in spirit. Again out of NY... more ridiculousness.... NY lawmakers are pushing a bill requiring child-proof triggers in guns. Requiring a trigger pull of 10 pound and changing mechanisms to where a child's hands are too small to operate a handgun. The guys also talk about Charlie Daniel's Open Letter to Chuck Schumer: You've Opened Pandora's Box, talking about the investigations into Russia and the elections but turning a blind eye to all of the controversy in and around the Democratic party and it's members.

A NJ judge made it very clear she doesn't think attacking police officers is too serious of a crime. The CMP ( Civilian Marksmanship Program ) may be getting an influx of 86,000 World War II rifles that could be sold to the American public. Sadly there was another school shooting in San Bernardino CA this past week. You probably didn't hear much about it because the situation didn't fit the liberal anti-gun agenda. Sadly this case is a perfect example of the "Brotherhood of Law Enforcement", one officer is mortally wounded and spends his last minutes trying to save his partner that is also mortally wounded. It looks like the HPA ( Hearing Protection Act ) is gaining momentum. If this would become law it would remove suppressors/silencers from Class III registration to a "firearm" that can be purchased with a simple 4473 background check.

Once you break it down, it's not as bad as she makes it out to be, although tragic but not the hype she makes it out to be. The guys also talk about how agencies can legally sell off firearms they have in their possession for various reasons. That could be a viable revenue source for the department for new equipment, etc.. But sadly most don't capitalize on this. Federal agents have persuaded local police to scan license plates at gun shows in southern CA. Can you say, "big brother is watching"? LT. Bill calls in talking about an officer out of west Chicago that suffered a physical assault from a person high on PCP rather than use her firearm to defend herself because of fear of conviction in the court of public opinion. Speaking of Chicago, the city with the most and strictest gun laws in the country also has a higher probably of murder than Irag and Afghanistan COMBINED. Our follow up story, Jeff Bell from the International Union of Police Associations called for the boycott of FL agencies for escort services to the local NFL team. Mike and Earl listen to Kevin's recount of a family law case he is working on, all the names are changed to protect the innocent. "Just because you have a reservation, doesn't mean you have a reservation". Lt. Bill calls in talking about the rioting in Tulsa and Charlotte and how the officer in Tulsa is being charged with first degree manslaughter just three days after the incident. Due process was kicked into overdrive on this one apparently... Mike and Lt. Bill talk about how criminals are using the tactic of putting their hands over their head while not complying with lawful orders from law enforcement to establish a false narrative on video. That muddies the waters of establishing the facts of the incident and to help convict the officers in the eyes of the public. The guys also learn about the term "Super Owners", they now have goals to be attained.
Update from The Show Me State, Missouri joins ten other states in allowing "Constitutional Carry". This measure allows anyone to carry a concealed firearm anyplace they can open carry a firearm. It was running gun battle with the suspect using human shields and shooting at pretty much he came across. A Trump supporter gets creative in stopping anti-Trump supporters from stealing his yard signs, and his methods are shocking to say the least.
Mike, Kevin, and Earl talk about the US Court upholds a ban on gun sales to marijuana card holders. The ruling does not violate The Second Amendment as marijuana remains illegal under Federal Law even though some states allow it's use for medical reasons. The Navy will be putting armed security officers at it's recruiting stations as a result of the shooting that took place in a Chattanooga recruiting office. The guys go over some of the history pertaining to The Second Amendment. Lt. Bill calls in talking about a homeowner that was told by the home owners association to take down a flag he was flying in front of his house. The flag was an American Flag in black and white with a blue line on it. Mike and the guys talk about a woman in TX that was open carrying her pistol and some knucklehead tried to rob her. Lt. Bill calls in talking about DC Chief Lanier leaving the agency, she is going to be in charge of security for the NFL. That will probably be a good fit, the NFL already is so anti-gun they don't even want off duty LEO's attending games to carry firearms, even though most departments and agencies around the country have policies wanting their officers to be armed at all times. Lt. Bill also talked about a small town police officer in WA state that was terminated for responding to a mass shooting call in a nearby town. The anti-rights crowd knows no limits, now they are saying our senior citizens shouldn't have guns because they are getting up there in years. According to one "expert" from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School for Public Health... Bloomberg, isn't that the guy who wants to take everyones guns?... Coincidence?...
Mike, Kevin, and Earl talk about the tragedy of a woman being shot and killed during a police training class. They also talk about other options besides using live firearms during training classes. A guy tried to bring his handgun into "The Happiest Place on Earth", Disney doesn't like when you do that. His big problem is he tried to tell them he is a police officer, he was. Emphasis on was, he was fired from the agency he claimed to be a member of back in 2013 for dishonesty and untruthfulness. The guys talk about how Gun Buy Backs while they may make the communities "feel good, like they are doing something to get guns off the streets to lower crime". Don't really do anything to reduce crime, they just help clean out junk drawers and attics and closets of non-working and un-wanted firearms, typically not the types sought after and used by criminals. A nephew found guilty in helping his uncle kill a woman in a case profiled in the Netflix series "Making a Murderer" had his conviction overturned by a judge because law enforcement essentially lied to him during his questioning. This story led to a continuation between Kevin and Mike to just how much police can and do lie to suspects during questioning. Lt. But the NFL has allowed blm logos and support from players in the past.
Mike and the guys talk about the details of Campus Carry now legal in TX. There are still rules and regulations involved with it, it's not as wild and care free as the anti-rights side would like you to believe.
Open Carry at the Republican National Convention?.... Oh my the horror... Yeah, nothing happened even though Anti-Rights politicians wanted to disarm the citizenry and have the constitution suspended. The ATF is keeping more records then they say they are. All of their computer data bases are not being deleted and erased like the appropriations act directs them to do. We always here from the POTUS that we need stronger gun control to stop all of the mass shootings. Meanwhile in his home town, the city with arguably some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation. This past July Chicago had it's deadliest July in at least five years. A Georgia police sergeant was fired because she flew a confederate flag out in front of her house.
Kevin, Earl, and Alec cover for Mike as he is on an important away mission. An attorney in OH is in hot water with the judge being held in contempt of court because she wouldn't remove a black lives matter pin in the judges courtroom. Speaking of OH, there is a legislative proposal announced seeking to give cities the ability to restrict the states open carry laws during events under each cities discretion. Because so many cries about open carry during the RNC.... Hello... nothing happened. The President is using his pen again. He signed another executive order putting small gunsmiths and firearms parts manufactures under ITAR regulations. The same regulations that are followed by military aircraft and ICBM manufacturers. Can you say unduly burdensome??.... Concealed carry permits have increased by 215% since 2007, funny how murder has dropped by 16% in that same time frame. Mike gives a breakdown of the Dallas shooters service record, he wasn't a very good soldier. They guys also talk about the back story of the Declaration of Independence.
Mike is STILL doing his roof.... But LT. Bill is IN STUDIO with the rest of the guys adding his insight to the topics. The guys talk about a topic that won't make national coverage, a Concealed carrier stopped a night club shooting suspect. Can you say a good guy with a gun stops a bad guy with a gun??? The state of TN now says if you want to make a gun free zone, you are now legally and financially responsible for anyone you have stripped the right of self defense from. Good news from "the patron state of shooting' stuff", to quote Bobby Lee Swagger. Bates county MI sheriff waved fees for concealed carry permits in the wake of the Orlando attack for the month of June, for Bates county residents. CA Gov. Jerry Brown signs into law the bulk of sweeping gun control bills presented to him.... shocker.... Families of the victims of the Pulse night club attack are suing the firearm manufacturers the terrorist used in his attack. A former Dept. of Homeland Security head says gun control wouldn't have stopped the Orlando attack.
Mike had to get his roof finished, and Alec was the slowest to respond so he had to drive the winebago and lead the show. Alec, Kevin, and Earl talk about the surge in concealed carry permit classes, and LGBT Gun Rights Groups spike in memberships. The guys do a little bit of time traveling interviewing Calvin at the NRA National Convention, and Mike did the interview... figure out how they did that one. Big surprise, guilty plea and charges announced in NYPD handgun licensing corruption case. The gun dealer has the final say on any gun sale, if the dealer has a gut feeling the sale should not go through. They have the legal right to not make the sale according to the BATFE. A reporter form the Chicago Sun Times thought he would buy an AR-15 for his article explaining how easy it is to do so. Because of his past of alcohol abuse and a charge of domestic battery he was denied his rifle purchase, can you say "Backfire"?? Trying to prove the system doesn't work, but it did work.
