Theresa Exum-Lucas is a 26 year-old Wife, StepMama, Author, and business owner living in California.

After getting a divorce from her first husband after only a year of marriage, Theresa realized how much her depression and anxiety was impacting her ability to be successful. She began to be more vocal and transparent about being a young, Black woman living with Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety, and PTSD. As she shared her story with other millennials, she began to see how empowering it could be.
Today, Theresa is proud of her story and is a strong advocate for taking care of your mental health and practicing self-care. In her free time, she enjoys working out, coloring, being in the water, and spending time with family.

13 year old Kierra is the CEO of Kandles By Kierra. She began Kandles By Kierra at the age of 11 after making a kandle for her dad for Father's Day. This honor roll student juggles school, extracurricular activities such as volleyball, cheerleading, and track, driving a race car, and running her business. Being the girl, from very humble beginnings, there are so many days where it feels extremely crazy for me to have been lead to be the person that help people and organizations, because I didn’t see that growing up.
Having been in the Human Resources, Non-profit & Mental Health field, I’ve been discouraged and even underpaid, but still love every ounce of the work because it’s work that I would do for free.
We all have a designated number of years, hours, minutes and seconds on this Earth, and we should all strive to leave a legacy.
