Bonus Barrel - Gaming Pod You like games? Well we love them! It's not a contest, okay? We're four people who gather together like a fleshy Voltron to talk about various games and game topics. Overall, I give this podcast a 3.3 out 10 and it has a 27 on Metacritic.
It's worth nothing, and it should be obvious, but all the views on this show are by us and us only. Any pathetic attempt at comedy should be taken in consideration. Our "damage" segment is a recommendation system only, and not so much on the quality of game. Any game can be good to any one, and any can be bad, so it's all entirely subjective. What I am saying is don't listen to us. I mean, listen to the show, by all means. Just, you know, consider your own opinion over ours.

Anniversary Special!
It was 4 years ago when we uploaded our first episode and to celebrate it, we've decided to open the BBVault and upload our unreleased pilot episode, which we jokingly called "Game Bobu".
This recording happened without much planning, after Rob and I went together on a game hunt and then decided to record ourselves talking about the games we just got.
We thought it was fun to do, but back then we thought it was lacking, so ended up never releasing it but tried again the following week and that became the first official episode of Bonus Barrel instead of this older one.
We think it's very nostalgic and we hope you enjoy it.

Will Rob finally give up on trying to get Seigi buy a PS4? I think it's time to just admit defeat (he's such a naysayer). We talk about some recent games Rob has been playing; Dangandonpa 2 and uh.. that might be it.
Nintendo has had a lot of news this week: Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing for Mobile, the financial report, NX and Zelda for March 2017 now, no playable first party games (save Zelda) at E3, no NX information, Wii U's barren wasteland and more. We still love Nintendo though. It's a rough relationship. Uncharted 4 had some early releases and none of us got one so that's sad. Jealousy ensues. Oh yeah, FF3/4 and 7/8 get physical PC releases in the UK. That is a thing that happens!

Bonus Barrel dives into the world of made-up legends, myths and rumors in video games. There's so many, and because of that, expect this to have more than one part. The topic today covers a lot of pokemon myths: Pikablu, Mew, Down + B, Pokegods, Bill's secret Garden, Missing No and maybe more. Leff is very proper, and so he brings in the rumors of naked Samus and Lara Croft. Bonus Barrel celebrates it's one years of existence. Happy birthday to us! So, what special thing should we do on this MOMENTOUS occasion? Not much. We tweaked what used to be the news segment. Rob tells a weird story about a russian package containing Famicom games. Seigi laments his Wii U gamepad dying and how to fix it, Leff tells a story too about games. I can't remember what it is off the top of my head but I'm sure it's good.

Welcome to this episode of Bonus Barrel!
In this episode we talk about.. a lot of things. This is our longest yet. We tend to aim for an hour but there's was just so much to talk about! In our first segment we cover all kinds of news: Some stuff about Resident Evil Revelations 2, Ray Gigant Announcement, Dragon Quest Heroes, and the Final Fantasy Dissidia arcade - which quickly turns into a which is the best FF argument.
We talk about some pick ups and then we move on to our newest segment "Here's why you should play this" (or Game and Tell). We each pick a game and bring it (without telling the others what it is) and try our best to convince them to play it. It's a lot of fun! Even if you don't like fun you should still listen because it will make you a better human being.
