Jamille never thought she would become a missionary, but after an experience she had in the south of Brazil left her with a desire for something more, she left college and moved to Italy. After 3 years in Italy and a brief time back in Brazil, she moved to the United States, first to Michigan and then to Boston. Shortly after moving to Boston she received a phone call from her family with the devastating news that her father had been diagnosed with ALS.
