Recently, I had the opportunity to sit down with Chuck Spicer to get to know him a little better and discuss the many opportunities we have ahead of us as a market. He’s excited to be here and is eager to get to know our providers. Spoiler alert: He has already met Curt Chastain and I think you’ll enjoy his story about that encounter! Although he’s only been here a short time, he is already impressed with our commitment to quality and to our patients. Chuck will be a great partner for the Physician Group and I look forward to collaborating with him and learning from his experience as we continue to grow.

L. Lee Tynes, MD, PhD, Medical Director, Our Lady of the Lake Mental Behavioral Health, joined Raymond Tucker, PhD, Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology at Louisiana State University and Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Our Lady of the Lake/LSU Health Sciences Center for a presentation and discussion on physician suicide prevention and ways to start the conversation and break the stigma around mental health.
