In this day and age, it seems more of us are seeking for a deeper, more meaningful connection to ourselves and to the world around us. As much as we have the tools to do so, we also have more distractions making it harder for us to stay present, grateful and faithful in the divine unfolding of our lives.

The Cosmic Channel Podcast is a series that delves deeper into some of the most important questions we may have in life: What is my purpose and my gifts? What am I here for? What is stopping me? What are my fears? How can I access the field of limitless possibilities? How do I get in flow with the universe while remaining connected to the present moment?

These weekly episodes of story telling and talks from spiritual teachers, yoga practitioners, holistic health coaches, and wellness entrepreneurs, aim to give you the tools you may be searching for when it comes to co-creating your reality. Together, we will explore the mystical and non mystical, through conversations about yoga, wellness, spirituality, nutrition, mental and emotional health to guide you back to your high vibrational self.

I truly hope the conversations will enhance your awareness so you can in turn become your own channel and receive your own special gifts. I believe that the more we all realize our greatest unique potentials, we can serve the world around us in the most inspiring and inspirational ways.

Welcome to Season 5 of my podcast, now called A Mystic in the City—formerly The Cosmic Channel. It's a reflection of where I am now and how much has shifted since I first started this journey back in 2020, right before the world changed.

In this episode, I’m reflecting on the evolution—both personal and collective—that has taken place over the years. So much growth, so much shedding, so much remembering.

And as this new season begins, it aligns perfectly with the Aries Solar Eclipse —a reminder to move with intention, to take sacred action, and to infuse the divine into the everyday. I go in depth in what is happening astrologically for you to work through these new energies together.

This podcast has always been about devotion, about living in alignment, about deepening our relationship with life itself.

And that’s exactly what this next chapter is about.

I’m so excited to step into this new season with you.

In this heartfelt sister-to-sister conversation, I had the incredible opportunity to sit down with one of my Instagram inspirations, Sian and dive deep into some powerful topics.

We talk openly about mental health, the vulnerability that comes with sharing our journeys on social media, and how it’s okay to show the struggles that many try to hide or repress.

Sian shares her authentic truth with such ease and naturalness, making it feel like we're all just in a conversation with a close friend.

We dive into how relationships—whether with others or with ourselves—can shape our sense of self-worth, and how acne has been one of the biggest teachers on our journey to self-acceptance.

Together, we reflect on the moments when we realized we weren’t feeling our best, and more importantly, how we knew we were emerging from the darkness of depression.

We also explore the healing tools that helped us find peace and clarity again, reminding ourselves that healing is not mystical or out of reach—it’s something we all have the key to unlocking.

This conversation is raw, relatable, and packed with real talk about the challenges we all face, the vulnerabilities we share, and the beauty of finding simplicity and appreciation in life, even after the toughest times.

This might just be the most sacred episode I’ve ever recorded. In fact, it most definitely is.

Speaking to Aude Barras, we discuss what it means to be a devotee to the Divine Mother, what sacred pilgrimages are, and what walking the path of beauty really means.

There has never been a greater time to answer the Divine Mother’s call. Who is She and how do we return back home to Her? Who is Mary Magdalene and how was she a teacher of Love, and unity?

I had the privilege to walk the magical forests with Aude back in May this year. It was by far one of the most transformational journeys of my life. From the prayers we made in Her caves, to the offerings we gave back to Her, the visit to Sainte Sara in Saintes-Maries de la Mer, the daily tea ceremonies, I left feeling more whole and integrated than ever before. Months later, I am still in awe of the experiences I had there.

Aude Barras is a seeker of truth and a practitioner of beauty. She is deeply immersed in Śrī Vidyā, a Shakta Tantra lineage, and her life is devoted to the worship of Devī – the Goddess.

Her life is in service guiding people into remembering their divine essence by allowing herself to be a channel for love and her vision is to preserve ancient wisdom by creating temples of beauty to celebrate and honour the arts of the divine feminine, spaces where pleasure is revered as sacred medicine – a safe haven for students and devotees of beauty.

It is a very rare occurrence to have two manifestor sisters (manifesisters) come together and share about the nature of a Manifestor in Human Design.

If you are a Manifestor, or know a Manifestor, or want to understand this energy type better, this episode’s for you.

As Manifestors only make up 9% of the world population, they are often the most misunderstood energy type. This is why Attia and I both felt called to dedicating the first half of the episode discussing all things authority, strategy, and aura.

We also talk about the element of deconditioning in human design which is an important element of this system that is applicable to all energy types. In true manifestor style, we both share about why we stopped drinking alcohol, as well as our thoughts on light language, and what it means to be spiritually strong. The bolder the better, right?

Attia is a trained Human Design reader and astrologer with a passion for helping others unlock their true potential through the stars since 2021. Using multiple modalities, her insights guide individuals and couples towards greater self awareness and growth.

After using location astrology to move countries and for her own travels, she specialised in astrocartography, helping clients discover the most energetically aligned locations to live and work.

Given our many mini voice note marathons on Whatsapp, Julia and I finally sat down to speak at length about the topics we usually talk about in private. In this episode, I got to interview one of my closest, sweetest, sister and friend. It was so special having her on the show to share her message, mission and path.

As a spiritual psychotherapist, she shares about why she has merged both spirituality and psychotherapy. Perhaps contrary to popular belief, these two modalities can act as a beautiful marriage giving you the tools and the language to heal more deeply.

Together we open up the topics of victim consciousness and how that had stopped us both from going down the path our souls felt called to exploring, as well as womb wisdom, endometriosis, spirit babies and plant medicine.

Julia is a psychotherapist working in private practice with clients both local to London and internationally. Formally trained at Oxford University, she cites her own (ongoing) journey into her mental, emotional, spiritual, physical energetic Self as her greatest teacher and guide to integrating multiple modalities and creating an adaptable language that will be most helpful to her clients and others.

She is passionate about leading her clients back home to themselves, exploring where they are unconsciously restricted by internal narratives, playing out harmful attachment patterns and abandoning their intuition. Because of her own experiences, Julia is particularly interested in the topic of womb health and birth and its correlation with overall consciousness.

Outside of private practice, Julia, together with a team of experts, have been devoted to bringing people together for transformative retreats featuring the ceremonial use of plant wisdom, Breathwork and combining her professional therapeutic skills to prepare, contain and help integrate her clients experiences.

Many of us right now are being forced to see, in the most gruesome of ways, the dangerous outcome of bypassing the darkness. Many of us are bearing witness in real time what our society actually stands for. We are not only faced with all the ways we’ve abandoned parts of who we are but how our society’s systems have been poisoning the planet and its people.

In this very special episode with Dina, we openly talk all things spiritual bypassing and decolonisation of the spiritual and wellness “industries”. As you may have noticed over the last few months, the spiritual community has had many differing opinions about what’s been taking place on the world stage. Is it low vibration to talk about the suffering of the world? Why are we all so obsessed with ascension? Why is shadow work important? Who are the teachers that we are learning from?

Dina and I have both been very vocal about how these last few months have changed us and what it has been teaching us. We share these findings with you in hopes that you too can join the movement of active liberation and true embodiment of the spiritual teachings.

If you’ve been following my journey for a while, you know just how much I love Human Design. Human Design is a spiritual system which allows each person to better understand their energetic essence. Think of it as a blueprint of how your soul chose to come experience and express itself in this lifetime.

When two Human Design readers meet, you bet you’re going to receive SO much juicy information around how to understand your own unique design.

In this very special episode, I got to interview Caline to share more about what this system is and how to come back into alignment with who you are meant to be.

Caline is a bright brilliant light who loves this system just as much as I do. As a Manifesting Generator, she is very much a multi-passionate being who wears many different hats and reminds us of the power of and importance pivoting.

If you’re curious to learn more about your own Human Design, but also understand other energy types better, this episode’s for you. Caline and I also explore how each energy centre can influence you and others. We dive more into how you’re meant to make your decision as well as understanding that it may be very different to another being.

Based between Lisbon and Dubai, Caline has spent over 15 years in journalism, highlighting regional issues and advocating for positive change. A transformative encounter with an energy healer led her on a decade-long spiritual journey, exploring meditation, yoga, energy healing, hypnosis, and journaling.

Have you tried all kinds of diets but nothing seems to be working? Are you ready to say bye to the diet culture so you can be free in your own body?

In this very special episode, Rola opens up to us by sharing what it looks like to trust her own intuition, with food but also with her life decisions.

She shares the 5 stages of intuitive eating and how at first, intuitive eating is well, not intuitive. There’s always a transition phase when you’re moving away from diet culture into a more natural and cyclical way of eating.

So much has changed and transpired since Rola and I last recorded a podcast together last back in 2020. Having both moved to Dubai around the same time, we spend a lot of time discussing how important it is to listen to our own bodies, while at the same time taking into account the information we receive from the external world.

Rola is a US registered dietitian, a certified intuitive eating counselor and a yoga teacher with 11 years of experience. She founded the intuitive eating academy to spread this approach in the Middle East. She graduated over 100 dietitians and health experts who are now leading figures in the field. Rola helped over 1000 women reclaim the joy eating and reach genuine health without dieting.

In this solo episode, I chose to speak about a controversial and perhaps taboo topic: beauty treatments and procedures.

After going to a couple of clinics in Korea, and doing a few treatments myself, I felt it important to share my experiences with you.

Completely unscripted, I wanted to remain as open and authentic about a topic I avoided bringing up for so long. In a world that tends to shame you for what you do or don’t do, I wanted to share with you how I’ve been dealing with the standards of beauty our society has created.

There can be so many extreme thoughts and beliefs about what is right or wrong when it comes to beauty procedures, and what I hope to convey through this episode is that not everything is so black and white.

Should we or should we not beauty treatments? What is the driving force behind doing them? How important is it to be honest with others about what we do? Is beauty a distraction? I ask many questions in this episode that I try to answer in order to start a conversation with you.

What has your experience with beauty been like? How has it made you feel? You can share your thoughts and feelings in the comments below.

5 years later, Layla and I sit down again to discuss all the incredible changes and shifts that have taken place in her life. From motherhood, to nutrition and intuitive eating, Layla and I spoke about how important it is to eat according to the season of life that we are in.

Last time her and I spoke at the end of 2019, she was pregnant with her first baby. Now, mother of two, Layla talks about the postpartum blues, how important it is to be disciplined at home when it comes to food and how she chooses to nourish her daughters.

There’s so much information out there in terms of what foods to eat and not eat. However, one key thing Layla mentions in this episode is that we need to move beyond just labelling foods as good and bad. What works for one person will not work for another. What is healthy for one person might be poison for another.

Understanding what your body needs is a journey in itself hopefully this conversation can shed light on what you need.Layla is a holistic nutritionist who went down this career path due to health issues of her own at a young age, she works one on one with women all over the world to better their overall health, well being and also healing their relationship with food.

Check Layla’s website: laylaalnaif.com or IG: @Layla.alnaif to learn more about her different nutrition offerings.

It’s been over 2 years since my last podcast episode and so much has transpired since. Moving to Dubai, publishing a poetry book, feeling more at home within myself than ever before, I feel like I’m in a new season of my life.

As someone that takes leaps of faith and likes to explores uncharted territories, I've become a lot more comfortable with the unknown. Digging deeper into the body, psyche emotions, there's so many gems and treasures that I feel called to sharing with you.

In this season, I want to take you to places you might not want to explore on your own. We’ll be exploring patterns, belief systems, breaking free from our conditioning, reclaiming more of our worth and power, as well as shadow work and Human Design.

As I’ve grown a lot these last 2 years, I’m sure you have too. There might have been moments of discomfort, uncertainty, chaos, doubt, and fear. To move from one way of being to another is not an easy process, but so worth it once you come out the other side.

In this very exciting episode, I got to speak with the inspiring, elegant and graceful Amina Taha. She is someone I have truly looked up to on my yoga journey and I feel so lucky to have been able to attend her classes in person and get to meet her. She is as sweet in person as she appears online. Her dedication to her own practice, her students, and building her career from scratch is inspirational and motivating.

We got to talk about her own journey with yoga and how it led her down the path to teach. Although it was not necessarily something she originally thought of doing, it has become her dharma to spread the teachings of yoga. Together we discuss some important yogic lessons such as overcoming limiting beliefs, meditation, and finding the answers within our own physical bodies.

Many of us can fall off the bandwagon and stop practicing. We can get bored or injured which sometimes throws us off. However, Amina has been able to overcome these obstacles by finding new ways of moving her body and including that in her practice and in her classes. She now adds many Pilates and bare exercises to her practice in order to keep the spark going.

At the moment she has been very focused on building her application in order to share her love of yoga with the world. She has applied many of the lessons from the yoga practice in all aspects of her life such as motherhood and womanhood.

If you ever lost your faith, or find yourself losing faith quickly, this episode is for you.

In this solo conversation, I share with you one of the most significant events in my life that took me further away from my trust in a Higher Power. I experienced grief for the first time a day after I turned 18 years old. I decided then & there that since my prayers weren’t answered, there was no such thing as a Higher Power. I felt betrayed, disappointed and mostly angry.

For the years after that, I stopped believing in anything. I stopped praying. I went into complete darkness and found myself making poor life decisions.

There isn’t one way to reconnect to our faith. For me, it was through meditation and yoga. It was through calming down the noise in my mind. Through opening up my heart. For others, it may be through prayer or immersing oneself in nature.

Throughout our lives we may have moments of doubt, of confusion, of loss, of grief. We may have moments where we fall from grace and lose faith.

Falling from grace just means we have certain beliefs about God, the Universe, Source (whatever it is you call it), that are against us. We believe that because things aren’t happening the way we asked them to that they aren’t right. In this episode, I share with you how I’ve been using my faith in order to navigate the new experiences in my life. Each moment is an opportunity to gravitate higher towards Love or lower towards Fear.

I am so grateful to be able to share this episode with Razane Jammal during Mental Health Awareness month. Some of you may already know Razane as the Lebanese British actor starring in roles like Paranormal on Netflix. But how well do we know someone based on what they do? Who is Razane Jammal behind the scenes? Who is she when she is not in front of the cameras?

Razane and I met during a women’s circle I hosted in London. As all of us are, she is a multi-faceted woman with many different layers. She may be known for her acting career and breaking barriers, but she’s also deeply spiritual, wise and connected to a world beyond this one.

This was one of the deepest episodes I’ve ever recorded as we spoke about the loss of her mother, feeling lonely and depressed. Razane is bold and has paved her own way despite all the trials and tribulations that life threw at her. These experiences she was willing to share with us allowed Razane to strengthen her connection and faith with the Universe.

In this episode, we discussed profound spiritual teachings and insights that helped her find herself after the loss of her beautiful mother. We hope this episode brings you comfort & inspires you to find home again within yourself no matter how far away you may have wandered.

Do you sometimes wish you were somewhere else? Do you find the present moment boring, annoying, unfulfilling? Do you keep on postponing what you should be doing today, thinking you’ll do it tomorrow?

In this episode, I share with you how I have been managing my move from London to Dubai. It has been interesting navigating such a different chapter in my life and I’ve found it very important to remain grounded. It is easy for us to feel uprooted when our external world changes. Yet, it is even more important to feel centered regardless of what is happening outside of us. In order to keep moving forward and not fall back into our old patterns, we must choose to keep evolving and applying the lessons we have learned along the way.

I want to encourage you all to do the things that light you up more often and to no longer let the past keep you from following your mission on this planet Earth. This podcast has always been a reminder for me to keep planting seeds in empty pots. To reach higher heights, as a human being and as a soul.

Are you digging for answers in regards to your health but have no clue where to start? Are conventional doctors unable to give you a proper diagnosis and are just classifying your dis-ease as “anxiety” or “stress-related”?

In this episode, I had the pleasure of interviewing Lana, a certified naturopath and member of the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners, yoga teacher, reiki practitioner & sound healer. Lana, like myself, believes in a holistic approach to healing and encourages daily practices that help nourish mind, body and spirit.

Lana opens up about her own health journey and how she struggled with PCOS, anxiety, depression, acne and an array of symptoms that most doctors were unable to help her with. Luckily, when life sent her messages, she listened and decided to embark on her healing journey by working with a homeopath and nutritionist to find the root cause of her illnesses. It was soon after her experience with her nutritionist that she decided to become one herself. Today, Lana helps people reclaim their body and health through ancient wisdom, indigenous practices and sciences.

Lana hugely influenced my journey when I first started and I believe she can do the same for you too. By remaining authentic and true to herself, Lana opens up about topics such as addiction and feeling alone on the self-healing journey. The healing journey can feel like walking the path of the lone wolf, and sometimes it is required before you can join the pack again. However, we hope that through this episode, you feel less alone and finally seen, understood and cared for.

Do you struggle with saying no to things & people? Do you or someone you know battles with mental health? Do you want to better understand what trauma is?

In this episode, I had the pleasure to speak with the inspiring Dr. Nahla. Dr. Nahla is a psychiatry resident living in Canada. Originally Syrian, she strongly identifies to her Middle Eastern roots. Through her social media page, she shares content to help destigmatize mental health illnesses & disorders. The way I see it, she’s an advocate for love and is truly in service to support and guide people who may not understand what is truly going on a psychological & emotional level.

Dr. Nahla & I both share our personal experiences with our own mental health and what helped us navigate these more challenging times. We also talk about how to stop people pleasing and how those who truly love you will always recognize your value and respect your boundaries.

Welcome to a brand-new season of the Cosmic Channel! After what feels like the longest time, I finally feel ready to start sharing more of my journey with you. In this first episode, I open up about what I’ve been experiencing these last few months & what it is I’ve learned through the myomectomy (c-section surgery).

I had to apply everything I’ve learned these last few years into practice. From surrendering, to working on limiting beliefs, to learning more about my fears, I held space for myself in a way that I never have in the past. It’s been refreshing & relieving to feel more at peace with life’s mysteries.

It is our birthright to experience a life of growth, transformation and love. However, it is inevitable to also experience hardships, darkness and loss.

I am so excited to start this new season with you in hopes to share more insights, wisdom and peace on your healing & spiritual journeys. As always, may you be blessed, may you be happy and may you be healthy. Sending you boundless, boundless amounts of love.

Our bodies are always talking to us. Sometimes we listen. Sometimes we aren’t sure what the messages mean. In this episode, I share with you what I believe the fibroid represents in my life and how it has been a catalyst for further growth and transformation.

For centuries, there has been a lot of stigma, shame, and guilt that has been associated with women’s bodies and sexuality. Many of us women feel disconnected from our womb space due to the dominating masculine energy and patriarchy. When we are disconnected from this sacred space, we are disconnected from the divine because the divine exists within every part of the body.

The way I see it, there is no such thing as coincidences. When things happen, when illnesses manifest, it is an opportunity for us to evolve our souls and deepen our connection to ourselves and a Higher Power. I hope this episode inspires you to take a look at the ways you’ve separated from love and to awaken a part of yourself that has been dormant.

With everything going on in the world, I wanted to talk more about the mental conflicts we encounter ourselves on a daily basis. Many of us are attached to our thoughts and we make decisions and take action based on our thoughts and beliefs. However, if we were to take a look at the landscape of our minds, we would immediately notice it is constantly in conflict. When you feel like it’s a yes, there is a no that follows. It’s like a shadow following you around constantly. Mental conflicts create internal fear which keeps us trapped and stuck.

“Should I? Should I not? Is it right? Is it wrong? Do I ever change my beliefs? Do I keep switching my mind on what needs to be done and said?”

This most certainly affects our wellbeing but it does not stop there. Our mental conflicts are reinforced when we relate to others. This is why it’s important to evaluate each and every single one of your relationships in your life. From intimate relationships to broader ones. Are you in conflict with a parent? A sibling? A friend? The more love you have in your relationships, the greater the impact of change will be on the world. We cannot expect nations to be at peace when we are not at peace with our immediate loved ones.

In this episode, I’ve come to the conclusion that wars are just beliefs butting heads. They are ideologies pitted against each other. Whoever has the most power and capital wins and ends up writing history. In this episode, I’ll be discussing what it means to decolonise your mind, and how what we are seeing happen in Palestine and Israel is a reflection of the state of man’s mind.

Have you been resisting meditation for some time now? Do you find it challenging to sit through the discomfort? Is it even for you?

In this episode, I have the pleasure of speaking to Tamara Bijjani. Tamara creates and facilitates sacred spaces and immersive workshops with the intention of healing, gaining empowered knowledge and creating community.

We both agree that anyone can practice meditation, it is just about finding a style that works for you. Meditation takes commitment, focus and a desire to sit through the discomfort and get to a point where you enjoy the practice.

Just like anything, it is a skill you cultivate. It will not click the first time or even the 10th time. Meditation is a way to get to know your True Self. It is a door to cultivate a relationship with the Universe and the Divine. However, when you have these distractive thoughts constantly, you are unsettled within yourself as you remain disconnected from the present moment.

By listening to this episode, you’ll take away some exercises, visualisations and tips that have helped us and hopefully can help you too!

Many of us try to manifest things in our lives from a place of activity. We believe the more we do, the more we get. However, we easily forget that a huge component of manifestation is surrender. So, what does it mean to let go of the fruits of your labor?

It’s the understanding that the day you plant the seed is not the day you get the fruit. The day you set the intention is not the day you see your intention come to life. There needs to be a cultivation of patience and gratitude moment to moment. When we put in so much work, effort, and time into whatever it is we are trying to get, we have expectations that we will reap certain rewards and we get disappointed when we don’t.

Surrender is acceptance of life as it is. In this moment. Not in the future moment. Not in a moment that isn’t here just yet. Surrender is acceptance of who you are as you are. It’s not about needing to constantly improve yourself. Surrender is giving up your desires to a higher power trusting that whatever is meant for you will not miss you.

Looking at my life and looking at my past, there was definitely a lack of confidence. It was interesting to see how going into unknown territories, doing the hard things and doing things I’m not used to doing in order to get better at them allowed me to get more confident in who I am.

Confidence is something that grows and you can water it. If it is an intention to grow in your confidence and in yourself, you can put that as your intention as we go through this podcast. In this episode, I share with you some of the misconceptions we have around confidence and give you some tools that helped me grow my confidence.

Surprise surprise, my spiritual practice is one of them as it helped me move past my own judgments, therefore releasing other people’s judgments about me. From discussing our physical posture to being heartbroken, this episode will help you visualize what your confident self looks, talks, and walks!

Have you been finding it difficult to love yourself without feeling like it is selfish? Do you shy away from saying the words “I love you” to you? Do you have trouble owning the fact that you love yourself or are you unable to find things within yourself that you love?

In this episode, Marie-Christine, a Life Coach based in Beirut, and I discuss the limiting beliefs around loving ourselves and how we can cultivate a more loving relationship by creating new habits and patterns. We share with you effective tools which have helped us both and we hope it helps you too.

The journey towards self-love all really begins with self-awareness and incorporating more loving activities. It goes beyond just romancing ourselves with bubble baths and face masks, which are great for some days but could also be masking a much deeper pain.

As someone who has experienced burnouts multiple times, I wanted to share an episode with you on why it happens, how to avoid it and most importantly what can it teach us about ourselves. Burnouts can be an indication that the way we are moving through life is unnatural and detached.

We are all designed differently and we are not meant to be moving through life in the same ways. Burnouts teach us that we are not checking in with ourselves enough of the time and illness will manifest to get you back in touch with you.

I learned it the hard way that I should allow myself to pause when I have the chance not, not when I have to. When you burn out, it can take quite some time to heal from the repercussions and it will stop you from experiencing life because you’re going to have to tend to much deeper wounds than you might have had you rested earlier on.

With so many fad diets out there, it is always refreshing to speak with someone who approaches nutrition holistically. In this episode, I was thrilled to speak with Lulwa Alarmali, also known as @thefunctionalnutritionist. She is the first Kuwaiti functional medicine practitioner. She is also a Clinical Dietician and IOC Sports Nutritionist.

In this episode, we discussed what functional nutrition is and why it is important to not only look at gut health but emotional and mental health when it comes to healing. It is an empowering model because it allows you to dive deeper into why and how you might have gotten ill.

We chatted about what leaky gut is and how cortisol, the stress hormone, plays a huge role when it comes to your digestive health and overall wellbeing. If you are interested in learning more about the gut-brain axis, Lulwa is the person to listen to and learn from!

A year into the pandemic, we all feel like the light at the end of the tunnel keeps moving away from us. It has been a challenging year to say the least and with that a lot has come up to the surface. In this episode, Nawar and I discuss how we have noticed shame resurface in a very visible and destructive way.

We are shamed for any opinions we have on this invisible, yet mighty virus. Whether we stand for or against the vaccine, whether we believe in conspiracy theories or not, all of us seem to have a very different opinion as to what is “right” and “wrong”. Yet we enforce our opinions on others by shaming them for thinking differently and this is a story as old as time.

The way we both see it, we must move beyond our personal opinions and beliefs in order to reach a state of unconditional love for all beings. We rose above our own fears of sharing our truths with you in hopes to show you that integration in society can only happen when we have compassion for one another.

Many of us are unaware of the limiting beliefs we have when it comes to our abilities to self-heal. We tend to focus on one method of healing instead of looking at all different types of modalities that can enhance our recovery. Being healthy goes beyond just what you feed your body. It is what you feed your mind and how you nurture your soul.

In this episode, I share with you snippets of my own health journey and what really helped me feel better. There was a lot of trial and error in the process but I came to learn that there are reasons why we manifest illness in our lives. If there is a way to bring them in, then there surely is a way to bring them back out.

On a personal level what has helped me the most was to surrender my control to a higher power and to allow for divine intervention to take place more of the time. My consistent meditation practice and finally becoming aware of some deeply rooted beliefs allowed me to heal on all levels. It is a journey however, and sometimes I feel good about it and other times I feel I slipped back. Regardless, I’ve learned to approach myself my compassion and non-judgment.

In life, one is really lucky to have a friend, yet alone a best friend and sister who is interested in the same topics as you. Tamara is that person to me. We may be different in some way, but we are alike in many others. Friends for the last 25 years, I feel so grateful to have recorded this episode with her.

When it comes to healing the root cause of illnesses, Tamara herself knows first-hand how important it is to make not only dietary changes but lifestyle changes too. Perhaps one of her biggest changes and surprises on her way to healing, was finding faith along the way. She went from being someone who did not believe good things could happen to her, to someone who healed from both mercury poisoning and PCOS.

In this episode, Tamara openly shares her journey with both chronic illnesses and how she was able to heal from them both. We also discuss how us human beings are actually the most adaptable and with the right ingredients, we can overcome any challenge. We share with you some tips on how to begin listening to your body and how to reclaim your worth. Perhaps most importantly, we discuss how believing healing is possible in the first place is the most significant factor when it comes to thriving in all areas of your life.

Perhaps one of my most vulnerable and raw conversations yet, I chose to share this after hesitating for a few days. When I recorded the episode, I was feeling quite intense and through the conversation it is definitely felt. There were tears, laughter and lots of storytelling. I allowed myself to feel through my whole range of emotions instead of holding back from speaking authentically.

My experience with dealing with inner-conflict has been to remain present with it. Growing up I was so used to detaching myself from challenging circumstances and I realized it actually hindered me more than anything. I hope this conversation inspires you to speak your truth even when your voice is shaking and to be true to yourself moment to moment.

Being hard on ourselves when we’re feeling down makes us feel worst. By opening myself up, I allowed myself to be more human.

Did you know that the fashion industry is the second most polluting industry in the world? It is a huge contributor to climate change but if we all come together to make small changes on an individual level, we can do something about it.

In this episode, I was honored to speak to Hannah Rasekh, a kind-hearted, confident & passionate woman who is half Palestinian-Jordanian, half British. In a time when influencers keep jumping on fashion trends that keep going out of style, Hannah’s style transcends time. In the last year, she has redirected the purpose of her Instagram page in order to educate her followers on ways to positively contribute to the sustainable fashion movement.

This episode will provide you with a solid understanding of what the differences are between fast fashion and slow fashion and why it is more important to integrate and balance both business models in the fashion world. We discussed how confidence and knowing ourselves can help us create a versatile wardrobe that can last us years instead of weeks or even days.

We hope that through this episode you learn the damages and the impact this industry has on the environment, on the workers who are not payed fairly, and on us who instead of being critical have not questioned enough the ethics of fast fashion companies. The time to make changes is now and we hope to have you on board with us.

On today’s episode, I have Elizabeth Cardenas, a beautiful yogi who shares her yoga teachings with us in a very raw, authentic and honest way.

Tackling all things yoga, Eli and I discuss topics we all encounter as yoga practitioners. From talking about enlightenment, to the fears we feel as students to step into the teacher seat, we both agree we have evolved a lot through our consistent practice. Our practice has allowed us in a lot of ways to become a master of our reality instead of being a victim. The benefits we have found extend far beyond the physical and have really opened us up to the spiritual realm in ways we may not have expected it to.

We hope that through this episode you realize that yoga is really for every body and everybody. Yoga is a tool you can use to feel at home again and to awaken you to different layers & aspects of yourself. The yoga practice threads through our daily lives and although we may not be on the mat, we can still practice the fundamentals of this ancient practice no matter where we are in the world, regardless of what is happening. We may need this practice today more than ever before.

Welcome to a brand-new season of the Cosmic Channel! In this first episode, I share with you a glimpse of what is yet to come this year. There will be so many new exciting interviews and different topics to help increase your awareness on topics of spirituality, health, yoga, and life in general! These episodes are to transport you out of the hustle & bustle of daily life into a more sacred space within yourself.

Unscripted, I wanted to have a heart-to-heart conversation and speak from a place of presence, intuition and trust. As someone who long mistrusted myself, my path and intuition, I have found that nothing hurts you more than to walk a path that is not yours or does not feel right. Nothing hurts more than feeling stuck or fearful of what would happen if you were to take a leap of faith.

I am hoping this space can be a place of refuge, of retreat, and of remembrance. A space of connection, compassion, curiosity and care. A space where we can walk each other home and remember our own divinity.

I look forward to this new year together! As always, may you be blessed, may you be happy and may you be healthy. Sending you boundless, boundless amounts of love!

In this newest episode, we have Hayat Abu Samra with us. Hayat in Arabic means “Life” & I find her name suits her so well as she’s an advocate for all human lives & rights. Hayat is a writer, actor and activist living in Jordan & originally Palestinian.

In this episode, we talk about our current world events & the influence social media can have on spreading them like wildfire. We know how big a big a role social media has in shaping our world views and therefore our world. We’ve seen it before & we’re seeing it especially with the Black Lives Matter revolution. It is important to note though that it takes more than posting black squares to be an activist.

Being an activist is not being sympathetic towards what’s happening but empathetic. It means putting all of yourself into the cause because you stand alongside those who have been oppressed, marginalised & terrorised.

The second part of the episode is dedicated to the movements we are seeing in the Middle East as we also have racism, injustices and inequalities in our own backyards.

As evolving beings, we go through periods of discomfort & unrest to transform what needs to be transformed. These times are important & I hope you’re actively participating & not passively watching. As an optimist, I believe that we can hop off this pattern of oppression that has existed since the dawn of time & integrate

In this episode, I’ve had the pleasure to speak with Taelor Bennett. Taelor is a Life coach, Theta healer and nutritionist. She believes that each one of us has the answers within us to heal our selves – mind, body and soul. We all have healing to do, whether or not you’re chronically sick. Healing is not just physical. It is spiritual, emotional and mental. Healing relationships with your families, with your partners, your friends, colleagues, bosses. Healing your feelings or lack of feeling. When it comes to healing your life, it’s about making the conscious choice that the way you were living no longer works for you & that it is time to take responsibility of your reality. A lot of times, illnesses arises to become aware of your patterns, beliefs & they can awaken you to something a lot deeper. Taelor herself was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis when she was only just a teenager in high school and although it took 18 years, Taelor is in remission and healing from what was believed to be “impossible” and miraculous. Miracles are possible and with this episode, we hope you feel that you too, are a powerful & intuitive being that is capable & deserving of healing.

In today’s episode, I’ll be sharing with you the effect of social media and tv on your ability to create the life of your dreams. Everything that we consume has a ripple effect on our beliefs, ideas, inspirations, lifestyle. This isn’t to say that all media is bad and that we shouldn’t listen to the news. However, it is important to check in with what is entering your mind space. As much as media influences us, there’s also our direct experiences, our upbringing, our societies conditioning that deeply influence our beliefs & therefore our realities. If we are to be the great creators we are all meant to be we have to pay close attention to our thoughts. Are you aware of the thoughts you’re entertaining consciously? Subconsciously? Do you take responsibility to make your life happen the way you want it to or do you put the blame on others? Do you have feelings of unworthiness or seek acceptance in everything that you do? In this episode I share with you questions to ask yourself in order to regain trust in your abilities & visions. We are meant to live this life with a sense of purpose & a unique vision of what it is we wish to bring about in this world. However, I question whether that is something we can do if we are disconnected and misaligned with the Universe.

Farah Ehsan is a Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, and advocate of functional movement and yoga for real modern life. In this episode we discuss how we found the inner strength to leave the corporate world to pursue our passions & purposes. We discuss the obstacles we faced when it came to teaching yoga & doing our teacher trainings. Society has conditioned many of us in so many ways about what success means & what a “real” career should look like. However, Farah found the courage & confidence to follow her heart and her intuition. It’s beautiful to see her share her gifts with everyone that comes along her path & I’m grateful we got to share this story with you all!

This episode is all about coming back home to you, to your heart. When I put together this guided meditation, I really wanted it to be heartfelt. With everything that is going on, we can feel disconnected, disrupted, discouraged. We can feel lost, scared, and uncertain. With this episode, I wanted you to reconnect to the different parts of yourself, the different layers but mostly your heart and its beat. When we are in alignment, when we are in the flow, our hearts beat to the universes’ rhythm. When we are disconnected, when we stay in a state of fear, we stop the inflow of love and wellness to enter. I hope that through this guided meditation, you feel more receptive to the love that lives within you & all around you. I hope you enjoy this ride back to you, this magical ride back to the centre of everything, your very own heart.

With everything that is going on in the world today, I’m really glad I can share this 30 min interview with Dr. Stossier, founder and medical director at Vivamayr. Vivamayr is one of the top leading medical spas for people that are looking to heal in a holistic way. What I love about their approach is that they try to combine ancient wisdom with modern science.

Dr. Stossier has a global reputation for his work. His areas of expertise range from irritable bowel syndrome, to heavy metal detoxification, to chronic fatigue, burnout, infertility, parasites, diabetes,…

This episode covers Vivamayr’s approach to healthy nutrition, how to improve your eating habits and rekindle a relationship with your food. We also discussed the natural rhythm of life and how we are no longer following it. Instead, we’ve created a pace of our own, one that isn’t sustainable long term if we want to age healthy. Our stressful, hectic, lives have a big impact on our overall health. By slowing down and bringing more awareness to our eating habits and schedule, we can live happier, healthier, and more vibrant lives.

In today’s episode, I’ll be sharing with you the story of a beautiful soul, Reem Tamimi also known as Tamtam Sound. Reem and I met in San Diego back in 2010 where we attended university. From the moment I met her, I knew singing was her passion. It shined out through her eyes and face whenever she brought up the subject of becoming a singer and songwriter. Reem is a Saudi singer and songwriter. She grew up in Saudi until the age of 14, before moving to the US for boarding school. At the time when she first started her career, we didn’t hear much of young Saudi women musicians.

With good faith and timing, perseverance, and a beautiful unique voice and kind soul, Reem is a true inspiration to many. Not letting her age, her culture, her background get in the way of pursuing a career in music, Reem has gone above and beyond the stars and her story is worth sharing and telling.

In today’s episode, I’ll be sharing with you my health and healing journey. Health in general is an interesting subject because it’s all encompassing. Think of it as a spider web connecting all the different parts of your life. Health is more than just the food on your plate. It’s more than just the number on the scale. It’s more than working out and drinking green juices, and eating clean and never having any sugar or pizza. It’s about connections, relationships, passions. Our health is not just based on our genetic make-up or our environment only. There’s so much that can happen or has happened that can bring about dis-ease in the body. In this conversation, I’ll be sharing snippets of my healing and health journey. It was through some of the hardest and roughest times that my passions for gut health and health in general were sparked.

On today's episode, we're going to be tapping into la luna's secret powers.

I really wanted to record this episode for you today and to share with you a full moon ritual that you can do at home anytime this weekend. The beautiful thing about these rituals is that they allow us to get quiet, to connect to nature, to plant seeds, and to be free from distractions. First, I'll take you through setting up your own sanctuary at home and then we'll then dive into the significance of this month's full moon and pull the lessons and wisdom this moon has to offer us. I'll then lead you through an 8 min guided meditation. Finally, it will be followed by a stream of consciousness journaling exercise so make sure you have your pens and journals ready. I'll do a tarot card reading to pull a message for all of us between the meditation and journaling session.

On today’s episode we speak with Zulfa. Zulfa is more than just an artist behind the Cosmic Feminist Instagram account. She is a vibrant, eclectic, powerful, wise and funny woman. Although we have not met in person yet, Zulfa feels like a long-lost sister to me. We are the same person in a lot of ways and I’m so grateful that I found her page soon after I created my own podcast channel. In this two-part series, Zulfa and I not only discuss cosmic feminism and empowerment but we discuss what it really means to be in alignment with our higher selves and our inner child. The conversation is a fusion of both of our own personal experiences and stories. In the first part of the conversation, we share personal stories of how we overcome difficult times and changes and what your purpose is and how to fulfill it. As spiritual beings having a human experience, we share how humbling it is when hardships arise in our lives and how we try to keep the faith no matter what. In the second part, we discuss the different tools we can use when it comes to anxiety and depression. We dive deeply into the wisdom of our bodies and how self-care plays a role in building a strong relationship between the material and spiritual worlds.

On today’s episode I share with you my yoga journey and lessons. I’ll be taking you back to the time where I first discovered yoga and how this practice sparked my inner light and changed my life forever. The life I lived before yoga and the life I began living after yoga are drastically different in the best of ways. Yoga woke me up from my slumber. I was just living life without questioning anything, without much presence, always living in the past or in the future. I was someone who silently dealt with anxiety and depression for a big chunk of my teenage years and young adult years. Yoga has most importantly taught me to communicate sacredness, it gave me the tools to build it, to build myself from the root to the crown, it’s given me my voice back to share it and today it’s given me the opportunity to spread it to you all. For those of you who are familiar with the Bhagavad Gita, this saying could not be more true: “Yoga is the journey of the Self, to the Self, through the Self.” May you all find the teachers that you are looking for and may you thank your teachers past, present, and those yet to come in the future in whatever shape or form they may take. The most important teacher is yourself. The light in me, the divinity in me, recognises the light and divinity within you. Namaste.
