Keaton Carney and Will Schmitz interview coaches, teachers, students, heroes, parents, managers, and every person that has made a special impact for others. They believe that deep, meaningful, and inspiring conversations are waiting to happen everyday.
In this month's Wildcard episode the guys take a minute to highlight some notable past episodes for new listeners and then they dive into some signature segments. This month's segments include: " You Know You're Becoming an Adult When______" , "Slice of Life", and "Just One of Those Things".
This week the guys interview Brennan Connelly. Brennan is currently serving with the Fellowship of Catholic University Students at Benedictine College. Before serving with FOCUS Brennan pursued his passion of baseball by working as athletic trainer in minor leagues in several countries around the world. In this episode Brennan shares his experience of working overseas, the lessons he learned, and his path to working with FOCUS at Benedictine College.
This week the guys interview Clay Johnston. By his own design Clay has taken on many endeavors; from making TV commercials, to live music performance, to being a dad, to starting a business and so much more. In this episode he shares with us the details of what he's into, how he got there and the lessons he has learned along the way.
In this week's episode the guys interview Keaton's longtime friend and teammate Thomas “T” Thomas. Keaton and T met on a third grade lacrosse team and have been friends ever since. T and the guys talk lacrosse, overcoming adversity, and how Thomas has handled life with a heart condition he's had since childhood. T is a living testament to staying true to what you love and, in his words, "Turning curses into blessings."
This week the guys bring back Kendal Williams for the premier of the "Wildcard" episode. The "Wildcard" episode is divided into dynamic segments that blend meaningful topics with lighthearted ones. Segments included, "You Win Some, You Loose Some", "The How in History", "People on the Path" and " If That Where Me".

In this week's episode the guys interview business owner and mentor, Alec Haight. Alec shares life hacks and personal growth strategies speaking from a wealth of knowledge and experience.
This week the guys interview retired Social-Studies co-ordinator/teacher, tennis and golf coach, Dave Benson. Dave worked in the biggest high-school in Colorado, Cherry Creek for 40 plus years until retirement. Dave shares stories and wisdom from his career at Cherry Creek as well as commenting on the ever changing environment of education in high-schools.
In this week's episode the guys interview young professional Ryan Boh. Ryan has continuously developed himself in his professional career by adapting to diverse locations and diverse roles within each company he has been a part of. Today, he reflects on the skills he has gained through his travels and career while sharing how he looks to continue to pivot when needed and build on his experience.
This week the guys interview world traveler, college drop-out and sales manager Colleen Dolan. Colleen set out on her own path by leaving school with the intention of living life on her own terms. This path took her to a successful start as a sales representative which allowed her to pursue a long-time dream of a solo backpacking trip across Europe.
In today's episode the guys interview musician Brendan Gainer. This conversation includes his personal experiences of performing his music live, his creative process, and how he got started in music. Brendan doesn't play music for a living, but his work supports his passion of self expression and which allows him to relate to his audience through his music. The guys interview Head Coach Mark Blaise of Benedictine College's Men's Lacrosse. In this episode, the guys focus on how Blaise has found himself on multiple paths for helping others including teaching and coaching. Additionally, Blaise speaks on his personal mentorship and leadership philosophy that he has implemented in his career. As Blaise continues forward, he plans on continually developing himself and others in the coaching or teaching fields.
The guys interview recent Benedictine College grad Lucy Wunderlich. Lucy has now entered a new phase of her life within the professional field. Lucy shares her experiences working in luxury apartment real estate in the DC area, her transition from college and her continued passion to achieving her idea of success.
Keaton and Will interview Drew Joiner, a post college-athlete and an entrepreneur who has created his own upper-echelon clothing brand. Drew created Edward Joiner Apparel which focuses on creating minimalist and sustainable style. We dive into his college career and his new found clothing career to get to know The How of Who Drew Joiner Is.
Today, Keaton and Will interview one of their Professors at Benedictine College. Professor Rogers currently teaches Business Law, but she has gone through a career in the law field before finding her way back to the school she once graduated from. The guys get to dive into How she has found herself on a very interesting path through school as a student, the field of law, and all the way back around to a professor.
In this episode, Keaton and Will change up the format and go ahead and interview each other to allow both themselves and the audience to better know the how of who WE are.
