For the first few minutes, Meg shares about her early life experience. She was the youngest in her family, and grew up with adventurous parents. Meg shares that she was taught at a young age that it was important to go to college. She felt as if it was the only avenue she should take. Once she did attend a university, she gained a sense of independence. She felt as if she was the director of her own life, so she dropped in and out of college from that point on. Meg then shares several experiences she had during her young adult years, and how they benefited her. Meg then talks about her reasoning for getting a degree (12:00). Avid tells us a whole overview of his life story. He comes from Iran, and immigrated to the US with his family when he was 3 years old. He speaks briefly about his experience of transition during childhood. Avid went on to graduate with a masters degree, and then went on to Cornell University to get an MBA. Avid talks about his success in e-commerce, and how his MBA from Cornell helped him to brand himself and find opportunities. Avid has some great stories to tell, and his opinion ends up being different than you might think. Brad and Tiffany Lancaster sit down with Gabe to have a conversation about COVID-19, now categorized as a global pandemic. Gabe asks about their perspective, having already been through disease scares and warnings before. We also discuss the effect the coronavirus could have on the economy, more specifically the real estate market. We compare and contrast to other similar happenings in history. The episode finishes off with our overall optimism, and a hope that this all blows over without too much chaos. Ty Bateman is a college dropout, who spent a large portion of his life figuring out exactly what he wanted to do. Ty shares his stories about young life, what role education played while he was growing up, and how he felt about school as a younger person.
