This is Pastor Mark, lead pastor at New Covenant Church in Greer, South Carolina. Today I'm wrapping up the series, HAGGAI, by looking at the final three verses. What can we discover and learn about a man named Zerubbabel in three ve rses? How can we apply God's visitation and words to one man, to our own lives?
I want to leave you with three simple words that you should be reminded about every day... "God... chose... you."
This is Pastor Mark, lead pastor at New Covenant Church in Greer, South Carolina. In the third part of the series, HAGGAI, I talk through what God was really wanting from His people. It was more than just fixing up a building. It was God re-establishing the first commandment, "Don't have anyone or anything else above me." God wanted their heart.
I challenge you to take a few minutes out of your day and process the question... "am I giving God just my talents, just my time, or just my treasure? Or am I building a relationship with Him and God has who I am.. my heart."
We continue our series HAGGAI. Is God being with us enough? Are we okay knowing that following God is simply getting God in return, and not necessarily the other stuff? Are we content just having Him with us?
We begin a new series today called "HAGGAI". The book is only two chapters but has a lot of things we can learn from for our life today. As we look into the first chapter, my hope is that we'll discover if our priorities are God's priority.

This is part 3 of our series called Twenty-One. Today, I wanted to take a look at Psalm 73. In that psalm or prayer, the writer gets his attention on what he can see and starts putting blame on circumstances and God. He starts to doubt the idea, "God is good". So what do we do when we face doubts? What do we do if everything around us seems to be falling apart? How do we react when we're trying to do our best at following God, while others may be getting good treatment? Is God really good?
In part two of our prayer series called "Twenty-One", I tackle the question "Does Prayer Work?" If Prayer works, then why are there these so-called unanswered prayers? Jesus gave us the model on how to pray in Matthew 6, but often times we miss a key part of that prayer which answers that difficult question. In the epistle of James, which is where our main text is found, we discover if you're facing difficulty, having a great day, or just weary, there is an answer we must do.
