Despite the shortage (700,000 fewer turkeys this Christmas due to bird flu) I managed to get two after speaking live to Mike Sweeney at the brand new M&S Simply Food in Macc with a £7 off voucher given to me on arrival, plus i already had another £7 in vouchers for M&S, so £14 off in total. Not bad at all.

Not a good year for Spreaderz, scammed twice !! Huge toe problems, due to all the stress, but showing resilience, keeping his sense of humour and letting his TRUE friends and good honest people and the radio, help him through all the trauma.

SP returns with a BBC Quiz to celebrate its 100th anniversary (can you spot the radio & TV themes, some are easy, as the announcers give the game away.). SP guest co-presents Through the Night with Dutton (as Simon Jubb from Stalybridge) on BBC Radio 5 Live in (((STEREO))). More worldwide requests, wind-ups, comedy from Monty Python and tunes of all genres and ages. Elton at the Queen's Platinum (70th) Jubilee on the walls of Buckingham Palace. Beswick on the BBC, technology and whether DIGITAL is as good as it is built up to be ? Why are we going backwards from HD to SD and stereo to mono and why do mobile phones fail when analogue landlines which are going by 2025 are much more reliable with BETTER sound quality and cheaper as the copper cables are quite reliable.
SP travels to Turkey (Antalya & Denizle), Seattle, Arizona and then back to Antalya in Turkey again to save on his Gas & Electricity bills, which pays for the flights plus a couple of free JET2.COM meals. Some Tran-Atlantic and Turkish requests, Spreaderz views on World Events plus great music from around the globe and a splash of comedy.

Plus the usual mix of fun, comedy, wind-ups and radio past & present, this episide features Mike Sweeney from 1980 (261 Piccadilly Radio in Manchester) & 2017 (BBC Radio Manchester) amused by the name of the resevoir near Leek that doesn;t leak. Lots of music requests too from all over the WORLD and an amazing track choice from 17 year old Tom by the Arctic Monkeys and we also visit TEEPA's the barbers, the coffee shop and the butchers. A delightful French helicopter trip representative is challenged by Cockney rhyming slang + Potholes in Wakes / Cheshire, UNBELIEVABLE !! Music from Kurdistan & Greece Butcher's Reques .... Martin Lewis discusses how much Energy Bills are set to rise following the hike in the wholesale price of gas from the usual 50p per therm to over 500p per therm causing twelve companies to go bust already Utilty Point and Avro Energy with over 1.5 million customers having to be migrated to a NEW supplier by Ofgem (with an "M" not an "N"). This time around customers will NOT, I repeat NOT be kept on any fixed rate deal they had with with their old "BUST" supplier (despite what Allan Beswick may say, he was wrong by the way) their tariffs will increase SIGNIFICANTLY up to 3 times the gas rate, or more depending who takes over their supply. Then on 1 April 2022 the government energy cap is set to rise still further to approximately £1660 to £1700 PER YEAR depending on how much gas a family / individual uses. Hard times ahead.
