A space where we'll catch up with business leaders, community builders, and politicians to explore the issues that affect us most!
Welcome to a rare glimpse into the life experiences of David Tsubouchi, which turned into something akin to an inspiring TED talk.
In this episode, we discuss everything from his acting gig with James Woods to his role in promoting skilled trades, to his leadership philosophies, and what his father experienced as a Japanese Canadian confined to a Candian POW camp.
David is a lawyer who was the first Japanese Canadian person elected to a provincial legislature as a Progressive Conservative member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. Elected from 1995 through 2003 under the governments of Mike Harris and Ernie Eves, David held high profile Cabinet seats throughout his tenure.
He is also an author, teacher, mentor, and continues to sit on several prominent Boards, including OMERS, and the Ontario Arts Council.

My goal here was to tease out the Canadian gun owner's perspective and divorce it from the American narrative while discussing the Order in Council of May 1st, 2020.
I learned a lot and I hope you do too!

Jessica embodies so much of what I am hoping to explore in this space. She is a business leader, philanthropist, and a mom, and it was super inspiring to hear her story!
