I've been wanting to do an episode like this for quite a while! Growing up in a Christian household, it caused me to have a negative view on my natural attraction to people I liked. I thought it was wrong for a good majority of my life and it prevented me from loving freely. In this episode, I wanted to ask some of the difficult questions that surrounds coming put to a religious parent. Our relationship has become much better due to me educating my mom on what be on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum is all about. I didn't want to shy away from this topic because I know it is important for people who have not come out yet due to fear of upsetting their parents know that sometimes it just takes time and acceptance will come. And even if it doesn't, you are loved and it is always okay to be your self ✨️. Thank you for listening!
