About Milton Herring- Have you ever wanted to play the hero? I mean the kind of hero that saves the helpless, encourages the hopeless and gives to those in need. That has been my dream since I was 12 yrs old, when I would watch my strong father and Army Chaplain, Pastor and Veterans Administration Chaplain change and ignite lives. I would constantly day dream of being the one to stop a bad guy that rushes in the room. Call me a rescuer or hope giver, that is my desire. Today I find myself bringing the best out of people, giving them hope with my words and actions. Today I live this Hero out on a daily basis in life and work. It has been a thrill every since I decided to be that guy. My upbringing is that of a military father and pastor's kid, and the eldest of three sons. Setting examples on a daily basis and finding myself in a position to be the savior of a brother who at that time was challenged with epilepsy, I grew to understand the delicate need to provide a covering for those that needed help. That is what I pass on today in life and in business. I thank my mother and father for the direction they gave me, in the examples they set and the encouragement they constantly gave me. I also thank my wife for the courage to step out and encourage me to be more of the hero I saw myself as when I was 12.

Hi! My story is that I have 5 beautiful children and my oldest two are girls. I grew up with three boys and myself being the oldest. I had super high hopes of what my girls were going to become by the time they wer 18. And, I was wrong. In having my expectations not being met , I found myself bitter, frustrated and angry. It was like my bubble of expectation had been bursted, I felt aweful as if it were my fault. All I could do Is change my perspective and shift my thinking about expectations.
Bob Paskins is a speaker, trainer and consultant who looks to inspire people and companies to their full potential. He lives in Oregon with his wife Danielle, and three boys under the age of 12. Yes he drives a Minivan.
For 20 years Bob worked in the financial services space as a commercial insurance broker. His two primary goals were to increase his sales base by attracting new customers and to lead a customer service team in keeping his current clientele happy. Bob built his business from scratch. Along the way he gained hundreds of clients, forged relationships with key vendors and brokers, and won several sales competitions. He was promoted to sales manager and then became a principle owner in a large commercial insurance brokerage. Nothing coming to mind but know I have missed my wife and children while traveling around the
world for business as I would rather have them with me. We have created the freedom to do
that now. - Have you ever had a time where you knew there was more for you to do in life or accomplish,
but were in a position or job or career that didn't quite line up with that, how did you maximize
that moment?
Yes. I left the organization and position and spent a few months working on moving towards
what the purpose and the calling in my life is. Doors opened up and life was much happier at
that point forward. I recently made a similar decision to shut down the accredited private college
I owned to pursue my passion and calling with my HOP work solely. - Do you have a story of a time that when maximizing the moment was important or meaningful
to you?
June 2008 in north India. Meeting the poorest children there while sponsoring some medical
clinics in the shanty towns. I HAVE A PICTURE I KEPT OF THEM SMILING AND WAVING TO
ME and realizing they were happy despite their terrible life circumstance – in that moment we
shared together. I told the director of the mission group that was amazing and when he told me
that the sad thing is 95% of those children won’t see their 13 th birthday…I broke into tears in
front of 7 other men I met just 20 minutes before. I knew then I had to do something to change
that situation and make the world better for children, like them, and their families. My WHY is
to change the world through education and entrepreneurship. That comes from that
experience. - How would you define a maximizing moment?
Being present for others and making their life better while feeling fulfilled and happy myself. - If you could share 3 immediate action steps to take for a person to maximize a defining
moment in their life what would that be?

Not being an expert on relationships, but having experience does help. I truly understand the burden and desire to build trust in relationships. It’s not uncommon to assume some level of trust in a new relationship but sometimes that trust is misplaced or misunderstood. The question isn’t should you trust; it’s how do you build trust so your relationship can grow and thrive?

I believe that it is “as bad to tell a lie, as it is to bore people with the truth.” When I speak to a group of people (a small group of 10 or thousands), I know that the best way to convey a truth, inspire action and have long term application is to be genuine and entertaining. We will have fun. It will not be a lecture or “presentation”; it will be more of a conversation. You can count on stories and energy. But I often hear people say, “It felt like you were talking just to me.” That’s my purpose – to speak to the heart and encourage people to take action on the things that matter most.

My name is Tabitha Summers and I was born and raised in DFW. I have been attending The Abbey Church since I was 5 years old and have been the Praise and Worship Leader for 11 years. I graduated from UNT with my Bachelors of Science in Integrative Studies and now work for a non-profit organization where I have the privilege of overseeing 20 teams in the DFW area as they live missionally to those around them.
I was introduced to the Path at the age of 8 after my mom was trained to teach the Path and the Elements. These tools not only allowed me to see that I was uniquely and purposefully designed; they created a common language with every member of my family which has now spread to my friends and church family. I also identified my core value of hope and created my mission statement - "to bring hope to the hopeless". This mission became the filter I processed life through.
My mission continued to be my reference for any life decision. I would be faced with both small and large peer pressures like many are during their high school and college years. When I was conflicted I would continually ask myself "what will bring hope? or "where is the hope in this situation?" I would typically find my answer which kept me from engaging in scenarios that would lead to hopeless outcomes.
As I have aged and learned more about myself I have deepened my understanding of my purpose and slightly changed the wording to my mission statement. It is now "to awaken, affirm and amplify an unhindered hope in myself and others". I have recently become certified to train others in the Path and Elements and I look forward to engaging others and awakening the hope on the inside of them as they seek out their purpose and their Path!

Brent is always looking to improve in all areas of life. He believes that it's the people around us that make the difference in the quality of our lives and owes much of his opportunities to the incredible family/friends who believed along the way. He received a Bachelors in Architecture from the University of Southern California and became the first Football Player in school history to graduate from the School of Architecture's 5 year Program. He also is a licensed Insurance Agent & Personal Trainer.
Architecture is an incredible career, but after working at various firms, Brent realized sitting behind a desk was not for him. In 2010, even though unemployment was high, he decided to take a risk and leave his firm to work alongside one of his best friends in the family insurance business. Understanding that everyone needs insurance and yet most are treated like a number, he saw opportunity to get to know and genuinely help people of all walks of life. Through insurance, Brent found a platform to assist others both personally and in reaching their business/financial goals. His Goal: to not only provide competitive options, but more importantly, to establish long relationships of trust with each person he has the privilege of working with. With a passion for the youth, he also continues to speak at local high schools and helps within the Boys & Girls Clubs' Basketball program.
While at SC, Brent had the opportunity to be part of two Pac-10 Championship Football Teams. Because of his impactful coaches, mentors and teammates, with 1 year of high school football experience he walked on and had the privilege being named a starter on the Kick-Off Coverage team for 8 of the 13 games. I always reflect on what quotes mean…I write quotes myself and this one intrigued me a lot as a youngster. Something about it said wisdom and stubbornness at the same time. This statement challenged me and I even wrote a speech about it and performed it at a couple of venues. I basically turn the statement on his head by saying it’s great to stand for something, but if we never fall…then aren’t we standing in the way of progress!

I always wanted to own my own film studio and when I got my chance I was too scared to quit my full-time job to go all in and lost my business because of it. There were other determining factors, but I promised myself I would never do that again and I stuck to my guns this time around.

Yes, I was in the News Industry for almost 20 years and the negativity was toxic to my soul. We had a room that we called the fishbowl that had a glass wall and we were trapped in it our entire shift. I enjoyed the technology and the people, but every day I looked through that glass window and knew there was something better for me on the other side. I just didn’t know what. I prayed about it a lot and waited until my GOD spoke to me and gave me a direction. It wasn’t going to be easy, in fact it required 100% Faith on my part. One of those, you don’t see a way, but you know your GOD has a way type of things. I always talked about it, but it was my time to be about it. So, I took a leap of FAITH and started a footwear line that blends my two loves fashion and technology…it’s called q’vani. (www.qvani.com) I quit my 6 figure job and have been working hard to get everything off the ground. In the process, I eliminated all controllable negativity around me. Which means, I stopped watching news and TV in general. Pandora, Netflix, Hulu and books are my sole entertainment when I’m not working.

I’m answering #4 and #5 in this question. #5 first. The definition of a maximizing moment to me is about living in the moment. Preparing yourself to be aware of opportunities as they present themselves and realizing what you have to offer in each circumstance. Not every time is the opportunity directly for you, but it can indirectly benefit you.
Now, I will answer #4. Yes, I have plenty, but I will share one when a friend of mine in the industry presented me with the opportunity to pitch realities shows. I’m a creative guy so this friend approached me and said we had a meeting to pitch to a producer in a few days. He literally told the producer we had shows ready to pitch. So, over the weekend I had to come up with ideas. I not only came up with one idea, I delivered over 60 and we were off and running in the reality industry. What I learned from that experience was how to approach people who seemed unapproachable. We all have basic needs and this includes the rich & powerful.

He has been a part of the CLC staff for over 9 years in youth ministry and serving in other leadership positions for the church. He also holds a Bachelors Degree in church ministries from Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Bio
As a native of California Randy was born and raised in Los Angeles. At the age of 19, he received his calling to serve God as a minister of the gospel. In 1984, he served his country in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged after six years receiving various awards for his service including the Air Force Commendation medal. In 1992 at the Center of Praise Ministries in Sacramento, California he began serving as an Associate Pastor and would eventually become the Assistant Pastor under the leadership of Bishop Parnell M. Lovelace, Jr. In 1994, Pastor Dean received his International License and Ordination through the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. In 1997, he went on to pioneer and pastor Hope Center Ministries in Elk Grove, California. In 2002, after moving to Tampa, Florida he began Pastoring Hope Center International Ministries. He currently serves as the Executive Assistant to Bishop Milton Herring, I with Advancing the Kingdom of God Ministries (ATKOG) and as an Associate Pastor at Living Word Christian Church under Bishop Milton and Pastor Cinda Herring based in Torrance, California.
In 2011 Randy wrote and published the thought provoking book, “He Restores My Soul” that has begun challenging and encouraging Pastoral leadership and the Christian community as a whole to address the issues of pornography and sexual addiction. It continues to draw strong reviews and stimulating dialog that is encouraging and challenging transparency and healing for Christian leadership as well as the faith community and families alike.
Pastor Randy has been noted as being a speaker that utilizes in-depth and comprehensive understanding of the word of God to impart relevant messages that is underscored with humor and “real talk” to reach people of all cultures and age groups. His ability to conceptualize church development and spiritual growth dynamics has served to benefit everyone who sits under his teachings.
He is the parent of two adult children, Steven and Ashli Dean and one granddaughter Avi. He currently flies and studies as a pilot pursuing his commercial license while attending Utah Valley University in pursuit of a Bachelors’ degree in Aviation Science.

Telly Lockette (pronounced Lock-it) was named the Beavers’ running backs coach Dec. 31, 2014, after spending the previous two years in the same capacity at South Florida.
While at USF Lockette coached running back Marlon Mack to American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year honors after rushing for 1,014 yards; the first USF Bull to reach the 1,000-yard plateau since 2005. He also coached second team all-conference running back Marcus Shaw in 2013.
Lockette has extensive experience as a high school coach in the state of Florida. From 2008 to 2012 he was the head coach at Miami’s Central High School, compiling a record of 60-10 and leading the Rockets to three consecutive 6A state title games, winning the 2010 and ’12 championships. His 2012 team finished the year as the top-ranked squad in the nation and the ’10 team ended No. 2. For three seasons Central did not lose to any team from powerful Dade or Broward County, a first in Florida high school football history. During his tenure over 70 players received college football scholarship offers, including current Florida State leading rusher Dalvin Cook and two-time Conference USA Offensive Player of the Year and Manning Award finalist Rakeem Cato of Marshall.
He accumulated numerous awards during his prep coaching career, including the Nike Sportsmanship Award, and the Nike, Miami Herald and Miami Dolphins’ Coach of the Year honors. He was an assistant coach at the Semper Fidelis All-America bowl twice and an assistant coach for the USA National Football Team.
Prior to taking the head coaching job at Central, Lockette served on his alma mater Northwestern High School in Miami for four seasons. He held the role of offensive coordinator and running backs coach for three seasons after spending one year as running backs coach. Lockette led an explosive offense that averaged 42 points per game, the most in state history at the time, helping Northwestern to the 2006 state championship.
As of 2014, Lockette had numerous players that he coached in the NFL, including Devonte Freeman (Atlanta), Kevin Pamphile (Tampa Bay), Lavonte Davis (Tampa Bay), Sean Spence (Pittsburgh) and Kenbrell Thompkins (Oakland).
Lockette was a star running back at Northwestern and went on to become a two-time Division I-AA All-American linebacker at Idaho State, where he was associated with then Bengals defensive line coach Gary Andersen. He was inducted into the Idaho State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2013. Lockette is a 1998 graduate of Idaho State with a bachelor’s degree in education.

Rev. Dr. Myke Crowder was born and raised in Joplin, Missouri. He pastored two churches in Southern Missouri before becoming the pastor of Christian Life Center in Layton, Utah in June of 1986.
During his pastorate he has seen the church grow from 60 people to nearly 2,000 adherents, move to a 40 acre campus and build a new 40,000 square foot, 1,450 seat 8 million dollar family life center. Twenty years ago Pastor Crowder felt led to begin a Christian school as an outreach to the community. He established Layton Christian Academy which currently has 600 students and is fully accredited preschool through 12th grade participating in the Utah High School Activities Association. The school is represented by 70+ different churches from every religious background. It has definitely been the outreach to the community that Pastor Crowder prayed it would be.
God has done tremendous things at Christian Life Center which is located 18 miles north of downtown Salt Lake City in the very heart of Mormon Country. God has granted Pastor Crowder and the church great influence in local and state politics and has been instrumental in seeing change in the spiritual climate across the state.
In addition to having served the Assemblies of God in various leadership capacities he has for many years served as a board member of the National Ministry Cabinet for Paul and Rob Schenck ministries and is currently an executive officer of the National Clergy Council.
Pastor Crowder has a master’s degree in Biblical Literature from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and an honorary Doctor of Divinity from the Methodist Episcopal Church with full academic privileges.
