This episode is just me working on a simple voice over demo to present to prospective clients. It merely gives voice samples from several of the episodes presented here. Actually, demos are usually done in a studio with a pro, so this was a practice for me with the intention of producing a final demo with music in the background.
Here's a recording I made for the kids that I happened to find when cleaning out my old computer. It's all about snow. I am not sure who wrote this or where I found it. I had totally forgotten I had recorded it. As a matter of fact, you can hear not only a hum, but also the voices of my grandchildren in the background, but I am hoping your children can enjoy it, even with the technical flaws!
Actually, as I am having some trouble with recording these days, I am testing to see if the quality is fine enough when recording the podcasts directly onto this site. Thanks for bearing with me. I may delete this pronto following hearing it!

Today I bring you some poems I've just recorded of one of my favorite poets, Lauchland Henry. Lauch was not only a terrific poet, but a wonderful person, loving and compassionate, incredibly witty, and in a word, unforgettable.

Lil Darling. my cousin Liliana, performed in Osaka and Tokyo with the Hot Club, her band at the time, she did a magnificent interpretation of the poem by Duke Ellington in Italian. I bought an copy of the original English in a book written by Duke Ellington himself, and do a reading of it here.
