Funeral in the Hmong culture has a lot of parts and jobs. There are people who specialize in those jobs that are needed to lead their parts in the funeral process. The Txiv Xais leads the traditional signing to give advice and luck to the family. The Txiv Qeej leads the traditional blowing of the instument to lead the dead to their ancestors.
