It's not for the faint of heart, but for those who have fully given their "yes" and are willing to follow the Lord wherever He may lead. We live in unprecedented times. He never promised easy. But He did promise we would never go it alone.
Be encouraged today, our God reigns victoriously and because of that, so do we.

Anxiety has become a household word and condition in our culture today. However, the Bible is clear when it says,"do not be anxious about anything!" (Phil. 4:6)
We as believers have access to a storehouse of promises - peace, a sound mind, trust, a future and a hope. Our job is simply to receive and actively use them.
Madi shares her powerful testimony of how she has overcome crippling anxiety and continues to walk in freedom today. With practical application and reminders, she encourages us, just as Peter did, to keep our eyes on Jesus and take Him at His word.
When the enemy comes to bring doubt and to disturb our peace, we have the opportunity to wield the weapons He's given us and remember His Truth! This week, tune in as Candy shares with Freedom Fellowship the scope of impact that Hope Choice is having in and around our community. She brings a ministry update while also challenging us to adjust our expectations - not to rest in an outcome but rather in the Lord Himself. We will remain anchored no matter the storm when our hope is set firmly on the one who never changes.
In order see heaven in earth, we have to ask the Lord to help is see as he sees. We have to see HIM clearly. Romans 15:13 tells us, "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
The Word doesn't say, "as you trust in your job" "as you trust in that outcome or that relationship..." It clearly describes what the result of trusting Him is -- Hope. And not just hope, but hope overflowing! When we get distracted and our eyes on all the things around us, we completely miss the “end game” of bringing heaven to earth, we miss Him.
This is an invitation to lift your eyes, to choose to shift your perspective, and begin to see Him and your circumstances through HIs eyes.
In this week's episode, Jake brings a timely reminder of what our "End Game" is as followers of Christ - to bring Heaven to Earth. Jake discusses some practical ways we can walk out Heaven on Earth in our daily lives - through daily time with the Lord, walking in step with The Spirit, and time spent in the Word of God. Knowing the Bible and believing it are two very different things. We mustn’t settle for mediocre faith when heaven lives inside of us. The Word tells us in Romans 8:11, "The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you!"
This is a call to move from shallow waters and into the deeper things of God. You'll be inspired to walk out your faith boldly - to bring Heaven to Earth. Allf or His glory!

In the final message of the series, Candy expounds on the practical steps to overcome loss, disappointment and unmet expectation by releasing them to the Lord. On the other side of surrender waits hope & joy. Are you willing to let go and allow Hiim to write the story of your life?

In this week's episode, Candy shares the two critical aspects of following Jesus - willingness and obedience. Looking at the miracle of Lazarus, our faith is challenged by the question: are we willing to trust Him only if He does "it" the way I think He should? Oftentimes, we are willing, but lack the action of stepping out in complete faith and obedience. The life of a believer requires we take Him at His Word, even when it doesn't look how we want or expect or when He doesn't do it the way we think He should. Listen and join us as we seek to live fully surrendered - to be both willing and obedient!
This week's episode features a testimony from one of our 13|30 Student Directors, Nolan Chavez. He shares how God took loss and brokenness of longing for a dad as a child, and turned it into the discovery of His true Father and identity in Christ. He reminds us that in seasons when we feel unwanted or unseen, we have a heavenly Father who accepts us, loves us, heals us, and has good plans for us.
This week's episode features a testimony from one of our 13|30 Student Directors, Jaycee Adams. She dives into the importance of finding our identity in Christ alone. Her story of overcoming perfectionism and performance strikes a cord and is a powerful reminder for us to cling to the truth of what the LORD says about us. So often, we allow others opinions, careers, successes, failures, or accolades to determine our value. Jaycee invites us to return to the one who formed us and simply ask Him, "Here I am Lord, it's just me, what do YOU think of me?"
Listen this week as Justin Cunningham, one of our 13|30 Student Directors, shares his testimony in overcoming addiction. We all have struggles, but according to Hebrews 4:15, we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize with us. He reminds us that freedom doesn't come from focusing on sin or striving, but simply by choosing Him, surrendering, and setting our eyes on Him. Whatever area you find yourself longing for freedom in, it's available for you, and He is ready to take you by the hand!
Don't miss the last episode in the Brotherly Kindness series with Candy and her daughter Madi. One of the most quickly and easy identifying characteristics of a believer is that of true kindness. It's being empathetic, celebrating others, not comparing difficulties, listening, and being kind in all circumstances. From being blinded spiritually, physically, and bound to a religious spirit; to leading the charge as one of the most profound leaders and evangelists in the New Testament. There is truly not one outside the reach of Christ and His transformative power!
Let these truths sink deep and run free into all Christ made you to be! Whom the Son sets free is free indeed!!
In part 3 of the series, Candy addresses the issue of shame and its attempt to keep us trapped in isolation and bondage. His Word says, "confess your sins one to another so that you may be healed." He has already forgiven us, but our sinful choices result in wounds requiring His healing touch. According to scripture, that healing is found in confessing in the company of trusted believers.
The enemy preys on those who are isolated and he uses shame as his sheepdog. Don't fall in his trap! His Word says the accuser of the brethren has been cast down! We overcome when we take hold of the authority found in His sacrificial blood and testify of what He has delivered us from! Rise up today and come out of the shadows of shame into the light of His freedom!
This week, we look at the life of Jonah as we continue the, "No Longer Bound" series. When we don’t quickly obey we force the lord to turn the heat up and put the pressure on. Could it be our discomfort is the result of His grace to draw us into freedom? He is in it to restore and see us free, to see us to accomplish what he’s called us to! Don't resist Him, when He asks, "do you want to be well?" be ready to respond with an emphatic, "yes!"

This month, we start a new spiritual "muscle group" and are focusing on "Godliness." The word Godliness is defined as: conforming to the wishes of God. There are few who represent this quality more than Eveline Rivers-McCoy! Countless lives have been impacted in our community because of her willingness to conform to the Lord's desires!
These two exemplify "steadfastness" in more ways than I can say. Pastor Robert and Cristi are not strangers of overcoming obstacles. They've remained faithful in the midst of opposition, keeping their "Yes" fully intact to the Lord. Which has ultimately led to the birth of, "YES Lord" Church. They remind us that steadfastness and perseverance isn't just for us, it's for those around us - those watching and who will ultimately be impacted by our willingness to stick it out when it gets hard.
Valerie Gooch, Executive Director of The PARC, joins me this week as we continue our series on steadfastness! Not only has she pushed through opposition and overcome obstacles of her own, but she is also equipping and teaching those she serves to do the same. Her perspective of and value for the homeless and displaced in our community is both inspiring and convicting. Kreed & Kaytlen Ramsey are two of the original pioneers of 13|30 and have plowed, served, and been a part since the beginning. Kreed now serves as the Ministry Director and Kaytlen is found diligently serving in the details with grace and faithfulness. Their obedience, humility, and faith to persevere in the midst of obstacle and uncertainty is inspiring and convicting!

According to Psalm 23, the Lord has prepared a table for us. In the midst of battles, pain, questions, and right in front of our enemies, He's prepared a place and invites us to commune with Him. How often do we miss the table out of busyness, distraction, or attempt to do things in our own strength? There are only two seats at the table and we have the option to give the enemy a seat and listen to His voice, or to give The Lord His rightful place and choose to give ear to His voice!
This message will recalibrate your perspective and encourage you to kick the seat out from under the enemy and sit across the table from your Father!
Caroline Fairly, Republican Nominee for the Texas District 87 House of Representatives, joins Candy this week to discuss how's she's come to "know" the faithfulness of God in steps of obedience. Similar to Abraham's journey, venturing to a land unknown, her story encourages us to follow the Lord no matter the cost. Caroline shares about the campaign, faith in politics, overcoming challenges, and taking the Lord at His Word. His precious promises are found fulfilled in the steps of faith!

Just as in the physical, spiritual muscle is only developed through use! The only way to build up my spiritual muscle of faith and perseverance is to put them into practice. We must take inventory of areas we've been weak in the past and partner with the Lord to exercise them.
Physical exercise and training is often uncomfortable and hard, but is necessary for strength and health - same goes for our spirit. Don't resist or be in denial of where you might be weak, use it as an opportunity to become the strongest you've ever been in the Lord!
Where He is calling us will require that we be be spiritually fit and ready! Lets lace up our boots and exercise those spiritual muscles!

A father provides 4 key things to his children -- significance, security, identity, and intimacy. When these foundational needs are lacking or withheld, the above are common ways we can respond. Listen and begin to see Him as He truly is - a good good Father!
It can be all too easy to just, "check the boxes" in our walk with The Lord and miss Him entirely. We can quickly find ourselves in a religious rut when we begin to do things for God instead of with God. Although the fruit of our faith involves action, relationship with Him is not comprised of hoops, boxes, and perfection. If you find yourself going through the motions and feeling disconnected from the Lord, then this is for you. You'll be encouraged and motivated to press in, connect, and receive His grace!
