Matthew 6:9-13 "Lord's Prayer"
This prayer called the "Lord's Prayer" should be called the disciples' prayer because Jesus is giving instructions on how to pray. This model of a prayer lets us see what is important in a prayer. The first important part of a prayer is that its focus is on God. Prayer is to the Creator, we honor Him; we tell Him we need Him; we are dependent on Him. This prayer lets us see we are to bring to God all of our needs. Nothing is too small or too big for God. Let us learn from this prayer the great truth that we need God in our life.
