In this episode of Memory Jogger, Jason and Wyatt discuss their recent homecoming trip to their hometown in PA. Wyatt drove in from MD and Jason and his oldest son took a road trip from AL to spend a weekend together in PA. They ate lunch at one of their favorite hometown restaurants, they crashed a birthday party at the local roller skating rink, they visited a couple local thrift stores, and had dinner at another favorite steakhouse. In the meantime, Wyatt dug up some childhood treasures including a Fireball Island board game and a couple Trapper Keepers! On the latest Memory Jogger podcast, Jason and Wyatt revisit their time working in radio during the mid to late '90s. If you listened to MJ 10: First Jobs episode, you'll remember that we worked together for about a year after high school at WCPA-AM & WQYX-FM in Clearfield, PA. Wyatt then worked part time at WINU-AM in Highland, IL after joining the Air Force. Jason went on to obtain a radio broadcasting degree at Toccoa Falls College where he worked, and even managed for a time, the student radio station WTXR-FM in Toccoa, GA.
Some of our fondest memories are working in radio and probably the main reason we began podcasting in the first place. We go a little deeper into our time together at WCPA/WQYX and also talk individually about our experiences in radio after that time. You'll even hear some clips from some of our on-air work during the podcast!

A new podcast series is making its debut on the Rediscover the 80s Podcast feed! The new show is titled "Rediscovered" (imagine that!) and will feature reviews of not-so-popular '80s TV shows, movies, and animation. Jason and Wyatt will be rewatching these obscurities either for the first time or reliving since their original run.
Our first episode covers the short-lived 1987-88 TV movie and series The Highwayman. It was created by Glen A. Larson of hit shows like Knight Rider and Battlestar Gallactica yet only managed to produce a TV movie and 9 episodes. We vaguely remember watching the show in its initial run yet the transforming vehicles have remained memorable over the years.
