She has routinely defended, woman and children, LBGTQ, political prisoners and those facing the death penalty.
In 2018 halfway through filming, Nasrin was sentenced to 38 years and 145 lashes. Nasrin is a mother and wife.

When Mike's Dad Robert died suddenly at age 60. he did everything he could to let his family know he was OK. That may seem strange for a dead guy, but somehow he got a message to a 2nd cousin of Mikes who worked with a medium who relayed this first message. When I speak of spiritual technology, I am referring to the tools that support us and empower us to live in conscious contact with Spirit, the Universe, or God, whatever we name it. Twice a year the 300 Volunteers go to Cambodia and Vietnam to work with the displaced citizens who desperately need medical attention. Dentists, doctors, and other medical professionals land in Cambodia to offer their services for a few weeks. They see 1000's of patients each and are literally exhauasted.

On the morning of January 3, 2016, Joe McQulillen’s life was turned inside out when he received a call that his son, Christopher, along with three of his friends, was missing. Nancy Rynes was an avid cyclist who easily road 30 0r 40 miles a few days a week. When she entered a round a bout, a large SUV entered at the same time and struck her down. The vehicle’s driver was completely absorbed in texting, and unaware that she had plowed into Nancy, dragging both her and her bike down the street for 50 ft or more. When the Vehicle finally came to a stop, horrified onlookers ran into the road blocking the vehicle. Nancy was underneath the car sporting multiple injuries.
While waiting for the ambulance and later during surgery, Nancy had two life altering experiences while having a Near Death Experience.

As Hitlers armies began to gather up the Polish Jews, Lucia’s parents feared for her safety and rightly so. In their attempt to escape, they decided it best to leave Lucia behind, hidden in plain site. They gave her to a childless Polish Catholic couple to raise as their own, always hoping that they might meet again after the war, but Poland was hardest hit by the Nazis. There were no survivors left behind.
Lucia was born in Bochnia, Poland in 1940. Her Jewish parents perished in the Holocaust and Lucia was raised in the Catholic Church by her adopted parents the Swiateks. Lucia loved the church and had deep and spiritual faith. When she learned that she too was a Jew, she really had no idea what that meant, beyond knowing that everyone hated the Jews. As she grew older, Lucia began suffering anti semitism as a lone Jew in Bochnia, and eventually concluded that she would never be able to marry or have children if she stayed. After escaping detention by Communist authorities in 1961, she immigrated to the United States and married Herman Weitzman, a Holocaust survivor and businessman raised in a traditional Jewish family
Lucia’s life has been documented in her new book The Rose Temple , written by her son Mitchell, which tells an incredible tale of survival, loss, and a love for God that would spur a spiritual search across the world , not once but several times as she sought answers to life’s most pressing questions.

My guest this week is David Jacobson, MSW, LCSW, an expert on humor and health who at 22 was diagnosed with a severe and painful form of arthritis that fused many of his joints and temporarily put him into a wheelchair. Ten years later, David was miraculously able to ride a Unicycle , 50 miles in a fund raiser for Arthritis, as well as receive a silver medal in the 115mile El Tour de Tucson Bicycling Event. David also garnered the PBAA Jim Elliot Award.
How did he do it? What happened during those 10 years? I could tell you that David was visited by Aliens who cured him, but that wouldn’t be true. Wink! So what did he happen? Tune in to find out.

Since then, Herrmann now 80. says she has been trying to understand her 39-year-old husband’s action. Her memoir, begun more than 20 years ago, became a novel in the past few years so she could explore the clues and draw conclusions that she could only prove in her heart, she says.
