If you’ve been following, you know that I trained throughout September with the hopes of improving my 5k finish time. I started at 31 mins (I was so sad about it, listen to that episode below) and after a strict month involving a lot of running, I was able to cut my time to 19.31 mins!!! In this episode I record right after the run and talk about how I felt, and touch on what the main things that helped along the journey were. If you would like any advice on running, please don’t hesitate to send a message on Instagram comewego_

This is the final episode in this first block of 8 of the running series. The series aims to celebrate all runners by sharing a diverse range of stories. I hope these first 8 have helped to dispel the notion that to be a runner, you must be a specific type of person with a particular background.

In this episode, I chat to Kristina. She got into running when a friend at work convinced her to run an 8k. She found it very difficult. Then a year later, another friend convinced her to run a half marathon and she felt so depleted at the end of that, she knew for sure she could not run it again or attempt a longer race. So how is it now that a few years later she has run 13 marathons?? We talk about it all from the beginning to now. She has run 6 of the big 7 marathons. She has had great races all around the world (some fuelled by running gel highs), but also shares moments of some not so good ones for example, once in the midst of the Chicago marathon she searched frantically for a tree in to vomit behind. She shares it all and is a perfect example of living, loving and enjoying the running life. She inspired me and I hope she inspires you <3
