I think we can all agree that we want our children to be full of joy! Right? But, I think I’m too often guilty of confusing joy and happiness- temporary wonderful feelings or circumstances- or maybe even a jolly disposition.
What if we prayed for our children to have MORE than a feeling that can come and go. But what if we started praying for our children to have a deep, abiding, unrelenting JOY that is present in all circumstances (good and hard).

Isn’t it amazing that we can talk to the King of the Universe about anything- at any time?!? He doesn’t just care about the big things, but he cares about every detail of our lives. That he is a faithful friend and a compassionate, loving Father.
But- even with this knowledge- as an adult- it can be so difficult to pursue a consistent, disciplined, passionate prayer life. However, I desire to raise children in this next generation who talk to God like a friend. Who come to God with boldness and great faith. I long for this to be a normal part of their childhood and teen years- and I desire to see them walk into adulthood equipped with a strong and vibrant prayer life.
Join me in prayer to today- as we believe for our kids to be prayer WARRIORS in the next generation.

I want my children to have a supernatural love for Jesus. I want them to follow him wholeheartedly. I want them to live passionately for him- with so much trust and abandon.
I want them to live in this world and not be shaken or moved by culture, hardship, or trials. But- in order to build such faith- they must KNOW God.
And in order to truly know God- they must know HIS WORD.
Today- let’s pray that our children would grow to LOVE and cherish God’s Word and to find deep joy in it.

I often say to my husband and my friends- "There is no Christian bubble wrap for this world we are living in."
What I mean by that is, no matter how hard we work to only place them in the right place, and settings, around the right people, intaking the right media or music, or keep them from devices or dangerous influences (and please hear me- this is important work!) our kids will be exposed to dark things.
That’s why this prayer is so important to me. The prayer for discernment. Pray with us today that your child will have eyes to see the world and their situations with clarity and the way GOD sees them.

A couple of years ago, my husband and I went on a retreat to talk about our vision for parenting.
It was so powerful and I walked away with a desire for my kids to be WHOLE in this generation- physically, spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and relationally.
And, God affirmed this in a BEAUTIFUL way through scripture! I share that story in this episode.
Spend 5 minutes praying with me as we believe for WHOLENESS for our children.

“Habit Stacking” may be a hot new buzz word, but if we look closely in the Bible- we see that habit stacking was God’s idea for our parenting and the discipleship of our children since the Old Testament!
In this episode, Audra Haney reminds us that by combining our routine, mundane tasks with important spiritual conversations and disciplines- we can bring power, faithfulness, and intentionality into everyday parenting! She’ll also leave you with tangible, practical ideas for starting our habit stacking today.
How can we stay rooted and faithful in these busy times? How do our small acts of obediece spill over into every day parenting?
Jesus reminds us in John 15 that we must remain in Him to be fruitful! Today, Lauren Diggs gently reminds us that in order to RAISE strong disciples, we must first be faithful, rooted disciples ourselves. She shares first hand how she saw this in her own mother and how reminds us of the huge impact that even our smallest acts of faithfulness can have on the entire family.
Ever have those days when you need to hit the reset button? Do you hide it from your children? Let it come out sideways or take it out on them?
Or, are you willing to invite them into "the hard" with you in an age appropriate way?
Today- Simi John challenges us to not simply shield our children from the hard things but walk WITH them in the hard things so that we can show them how faithful God is- even on the hardest days.

This is such a special episdoe for me. Renee and I recorded this interview last summer when she launched her new book, A Confident Mom. The interview was amazing- but what was most special for was the hour AFTER the call that Renee spent selflessly pouring into me and encouraging me. We became quick friends and she quickly earned a place in my heart. Her wisdom, experience, perspective, and Christ-centered reminders are exactly what I needed in my life.
Here's a few things we discuss in this interview:
-The moment that made her want to "quit" parenting
-How to look for the good in your kids, even in the hardest parenting seasons
-How to cast long term vision for your family and parenting
-How to discipline and correct with restoration in mind
AND SO MUCH MORE! This one is a gem friends!
The Lord knew I needed Bailey speaking into my life- and respectfully- I defintely think you should get to know her too!
Bailey and I had a GREAT time on this episode! Here's some things we chat about:
-Getting to know more about her marriage and family
-Her heart behind joining the podcast
-Her book "Together Is A Beautiful Place" and how moms can cultivate meaningful, life-giving friendships in any season
-An an AWESOME impromtu lightning round for both of us that includes our hot take on Halloween, what's saving Bailey's life right now, the appropriate time to launch Christmas celebrations, and expert tips on making a bestie in a FLASH!

We are starting this series on habits- with a reminder to STOP. Lauren Diggs reminds us today that making strong disciples doesn't always mean adding more tasks. Often, it means taking a pause to remember who we are in Christ and the great gifts we have to offer our children, even in the mundane moments.
We are so excited for you to be joining us this fall as we've added FOUR new co-hosts! We will be talking about how we can be extremely pratical in our discipleship and how to be intentional in this busy world.

You probably know Crystal Paine best from her blog, books, and resources at The Money Saving Mom. Crystal has been a trusted help and friend to moms all over the world since 2007.
In this interview, she’s getting a bit more intimate and sharing the incredible partnering journey she’s been on over the last several years. Crystal shares her infertility and foster care story, but she also shares how God met and taught her in a hard season with one of her children- and helped her move from performance-based parenting to parenting from a place of being loved.
She shares how to tackle the lie that your parenting isn’t measuring up, how to replace those lies with truth, and how to do less correcting and more connecting with your children.
It is probably no surprise to you that kids and teens are more anxious than ever, but did you know that girls are twice as likely to develop an anxiety disorder than boys and yet significantly less likely to get treatment for anxiety than their male friends. Our daughters are suffering and isolated and they need our help.
Today, as we tackle this topic- I’m so honored to be joined by Sissy Goff! Sissy is a licensed counselor and the director of counseling for girls and young women at Daystar Counseling Ministries right in Nashville, TN. She is an author of 11 books on parenting, and today we are going to talk about her new book- Raising Worry-Free Girls: Helping Your Daughter Feel Braver, Stronger, and Smarter in an Anxious World
On this episode, we discuss:
I’m so humbled and grateful to share about the recent release of Nicki Koziarz's new book Flooded. Nicki shares some of the recent tragedies in her own life that left her doubting God.
In the midst of her pain, Nicki looked through the lens of the biblical account of Noah and discovered five decisions a person can make to help deflect the destruction of doubt. Through this biblical account, she walks us through how to let our doubts drive us to God and not away from Him.
If you are walking through a hard season, this is a must listen!
We've walked through a hard year and we've done so much adjusting to our new normal! If you are still processing your grief, like I am, join me today for a Prayer of Lament.
This season has a powerful way of reminding us that God makes all things new. Join us today as we pray a Spring revival prayer.
I’m excited to announce that in these weeks leading up to Easter—also know as Lent—we’ll be walking through a special series. Lent is a time to reflect on our human bent for sin, and the magnificent gift of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross—and the power of his resurrection.

I’m so excited to share this amazing conversation I had with my friend Jenny Randle a few weeks ago. Jenny is an Emmy award-winning editor, she's a brilliant creative, she is the co-host of the hilarious and amazing "Shut The Should Up Podcast".
Today- we are going to dive into her newest book Getting To Know The Voice of God. I couldn’t think of a better topic or interview to wrap up our revival series. We are going to talk about the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives, how God speaks to our hearts, how to avoid abusing the Jesus card, and how to seek his voice in the business of motherhood. I know this is going to bless you and give you so much to think about!
There's power when we pray together- even as busy moms in the car pickup line, laundry room, or cubicle. Join us today as we pray for corporate revival across our cities, nations, and world.
So far, we've talked about our steps in revival- returning and repentance. But today, I'm excited to share what GOD promises to do in the revival work after we've taken those steps.
Join me today as we talk about personal renewal and why we can have a great expectation for what God is doing in our hearts.
Today's format is a little different! I'm sharing a recent talk I shared at my home church- Northstar Church in Knoxville, TN for our 21 days of prayer and fasting. I share the role of repentance in revival and 3 helpful reminders for true repentance.
This episode is a little longer than our typical 5 minutes (about 20 minutes) but I pray it blesses you!
In this episode, we talk about why we are poised more than ever for corporate revival and how we can personally (yes, even as busy moms) lay the foundation for a great move of God, in the darkest times.

Tara-Leigh Cobble is a Bible teacher, speaker, and top podcaster and in this episode, we are going to talk about KNOWING AND LOVING God’s Word again.
This is an honest, vulnerable episode where we talk about what to do if you feel too busy or too burnout to read God’s Word and what it looks like to spark that fire again. There’s no shaming here- just great hope and practical advice for where to start.
We share our personal stories with great transparency and my prayer is that as you dream and plan for your spiritual growth for the upcoming year- this gives you ALL the tools you need to hit the ground running in 2021 and that you’ll experience a depth of God’s goodness in his Word like never before.
What difference would it make in your life if you invited Jesus into your boat and put Him at the helm? Today we are joined by the beautiful Jess Carey to talk about how her life was radically changed when she gave God FULL control.
Jess is the mom of 2, the author of her new book Chart A Course, and has the most amazing testimony of fully surrendering her heart to Christ and the amazing impact it had on her life.
If you are wrestling with how to seize a God-sized dream, where that fits in motherhood, or how to persevere in the messy middle of obeying God- this interview will be such an encouragement to you.
We are joined by the amazing Lisa Bevere today!
I'm so inspired by the ministry she has built with her husband, the men she has raised, and her passion for teaching women. Her life has no doubt made a massive impact for eternity.
Lisa is a fire hydrant of wisdom in this interview as she dives into the heart and command of Titus 2- the older women are to teach the younger women how to live godly and impactful lives.
We chat about:
-What is a "Godmother" and how to be or find one (Hint: It has more to do with the early church than Cinderella or the mafia!)
-How to breach the devastating generational gaps that keep us from one another's lives

The world has changed so much in the last three weeks, but our God remains the same. Join me today as we pray some of the specific names of God that have helped me most in this season!
Just a couple of weeks ago, I spoke with author, speaker, and the host of the Jesus Over Everything podcast Lisa Whittle. She’s a sister in Christ that I look up to so much spiritually and professionally—and we had a powerful conservation about what it looks like to uncomplicated our lives. To find peace. And how to put Jesus over every single thing in our lives. Her book to me—is for such a time as this. God is calling us back to things that are true and back to Him.
Today we are going to talk about why God put this message on Lisa’s heart, how we can apply it specifically as moms in this season, how to lay down coping mechanisms and idols, and how to take the first steps in putting Jesus first.
I wrote this prayer remembering that Jesus could have come as a King, but instead came as a man of sorrows. We can take comfort today that He can empathize with our pain, grief, and questions. Pray with me today for Week 4 of our Lent series.
It’s overwhelming how much has happened in just a few short weeks, especially for my friends in Nashville. When I got on this call with Ellie Holcomb just a week before her book launch—we had no idea that a devastating tornado would tear through a city we both love dearly and no idea that we’d be facing the fear of a global pandemic. In the wake of all the news, Ellie’s book launch was a little delayed but even with all the chaos—the message couldn’t be more timely. Don’t forget to remember! Although this is a children’s book and album—don’t we all need this right now more than ever? God loves us and wants to draw us near. One line of Ellie’s book says, “on glad days and sad days God’s near and He knows—he can use any storm to make good things grow.”
I’m so grateful for Ellie’s reminder and joy today and her obedience to work on a project in her busy season of motherhood that will encourage us all.

When the weather gets beautiful, we tend to start spring sprucing up our homes. But, if I'm honest, it's always a little shocking to see what I've let linger during the winter months. The popcorn, dust balls, and legos behind the couch. The dirt on the baseboards. The cobwebs in the corners.
It reminded me so much of own spirit and soul. The Bible says that if we have God’s Holy Spirit inside of us, we are the temple of God. But how often do I neglect to take inventory of my spirit house?
Today, I'm going to give some pratical tips to help us all do some spiritual spring cleaning!
On this episode, we are joined by the truly inspirational Whitney Capps. Whitney is a Proverbs 31 speaker and teacher and today, she is going to share about her new book Sick Of Me. We'll chat about the problem with hustle over holiness, what it means to look a little more like Jesus every day, and how we can spur one another on as moms and friends to not settle for anything less.
There always seems to be two sides to motherhood--constantly running parallel--the happy and the hard. Today, I share a visual that God gave me to explain why He designed motherhood this way and how we can embrace the hard without feeling guilt.

DON'T MISS THIS ONE! It's only 27 minutes and worth every second.
How mindful are we being of our words lately? What are we speaking over our children? The Bible has a lot to say and reveal about the power of our words. Today, I share a recent story that reminded me to be careful about what I speak over my children on a daily basis.
