Today I am condensing the remainder of Revelation. There are so many mysteries and many scholars have varying interpretations and opinions on what is taking place. I decided to end this podcast a day early and talk about the exciting new heaven and new earth and how Jesus will reign forever and ever as King of kings and Lord of lords!!! Hallelujah!!!
Let’s not be anxious about what’s to come in Revelation. Instead, let’s remember Who Jesus is and what He did for us. He can be trusted and He loves us so much. Those who have trusted in Him as their Savior have nothing to fear.
The Bible tells us some incredibly awesome and amazing things about God and what is going on (even right now) in heaven and in the throne room of God. Today’s podcast is on Revelation 3-5 describing the throne of God and what it looks like. There are these huge living creatures that are around Him, and elders and angels…you just have to listen and read for yourselves!! It’s amazing to say the least.
This was not planned. I didn’t know Jesus was going to have me read what I read today. Wow. I don’t even know how to describe the podcast other than by saying JESUS IS LORD and He showed up in such a special way today. I love Him so much and it’s times like these that make me love Him even more.

God is love and He makes it very clear that we are to LOVE. Oh boy…some people are so difficult to love. What do we do with the difficult people and the difficult situations? I pray you hear direction from the Lord in today’s podcast.

As Christians, we need to find people to do life with. Paul takes it a step further and uses words that refer to being FAMILY. That makes it even more meaningful to do life with those who are in the family of God! Not just church attendance.

Living by the law verses living in freedom is kinda like a Thanksgiving meal. All are invited to be “thankful” but it’s not about the turkey, stuffing, and pumpkin pie; it’s about being thankful. The gospel is similar in that it’s not about religious traditions and appearances, but about a heart that desires to follow Jesus.

The Bible is FULL of examples and instructions on how to trust Him with provision. God actually wants us to be a part of a great harvest so we can be blessings to others.
Being unequally yoked is usually talked about in reference to marriage but Paul is talking about this concept with all believers.
Corinthians 2:2 talks about forgiveness. It’s important to forgive self and others. We also have the fragrance of victory which is the fragrance of Christ. That fragrance is an aroma that affects others differently. And lastly, where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom!
Paul writes to tell the Corinthians to live the resurrected life and stop acting like the world. Paul reminds them of the resurrection of Jesus and how that new life is available to them to live out here on earth.

There were so many cultural differences in Corinth and Paul had a job to do to teach them about Jesus while creating an environment of unity.

We can’t ignore these chapters. Some people want to be rehabilitated yet others refuse rehabilitation and their sin needs to be dealt with for the sake of the church and “the little ones.” These aren’t my opinions… it’s the word of God.
In today’s scripture reading we learn about the wisdom of God which contradicts the foolishness of the world. The Holy Spirit searches the deep things of God and longs to reveal them to us. Tune into today’s podcast for more insights on this topic.
We all come from different backgrounds but our common ground is Jesus and the word. Paul shows us how to be unified through preferring others and showing honor to those who may be different than us or even weaker in their faith.
This is how I pray for prodigals and the lost. God has so much HOPE in His word for us.
The struggle with sin is real. But there is tremendous hope as we learn that we have died to sin with Christ and we can live life in the Spirit.
Faith against all hope. Life sometimes looks bleak but God still has a purpose and a plan! We can see mountains move and miracles take place even though things aren’t quite lining up the way we expect them to. God knows what He is doing and He will truly far exceed anything we can think, hope, or imagine!!
No one is without sin, yet some of us will not have to pay the price for our sin. In today's podcast we will see what God has to say about immorality and the punishment that will come because of it. But praise Jesus, we will also see how Jesus made a way for us to have eternal life through His kindness and grace....through faith!!
It can be difficult to stay encouraged all the time. Life happens and despair can creep in. Today we will see how Paul stayed encouraged and how he encouraged others. I’ll list 7 ways for us to keep our heads above water and stayed encouraged as well.
We are all called to be servant leaders to some capacity. We may be serving others in our homes or jobs or in the church but God desires all of us to serve well. This passage of scripture is so powerful because of Paul’s humility and passion for God which overflowed for the sake of others.
Paul went to many places to preach the gospel; Thessalonica, Berea, Athens, Corinth, Galatia, and Ephesus to name a few. He was prepared and ready for whatever might come. Some would convert and believe his message of salvation while others would become jealous and harshly come after him through persecution. Are you willing to prepare yourself for the purpose of sharing the gospel? We can learn a few things from Paul in today’s passages: Acts 17-19.
Trials and tragedies happen but we have a choice to make with our words. Will we spiral into negativity and despair? Or will we spread the GOOD NEWS of hope? May we always preach the good news of Jesus to ourselves and to others in spite of pain and suffering.
The disciples could discern the voice of God and even discern when it WASN’T the voice of God. I show you examples in today’s scriptures as well as give 6-7 tips on how to hear God’s voice for yourself.
Arguments and disagreements come because we see in part. Someone doesn’t have the full picture or full story and it can cause division and confusion. I hope this podcast helps us all slow down and take time to get more understanding and also be patient as we pray for others to get understanding as well.
Today we look at Pentecost and see how the disciples became bolder because of the empowerment of Holy Spirit.
Jesus had a message when He knew His disciples were afraid and that was “Peace be with you.” I pray that anyone suffering from anxiety, fear, worry, panic or anything else that is tormenting would find peace and rest in the presence of Holy Spirit.
In a world of division, it’s comforting to read that Jesus actually prayed to the Father for us to be unified. John 17 shows us a prayer that Jesus prayed for Himself, for the disciples, and for future believers…which is US!

We will look at the “capstone” the builders rejected and we will look at Peter’s sin. Jesus prophesied that Peter would deny Him yet Jesus didn’t hold a grudge. Jesus forgave and even encouraged him with a future mission to strengthen his brothers.

The verse that stood out to me from today’s chapters was Mark 9:15 where it says “… they were overwhelmed with wonder.” The closer we get to Jesus, the more wonder we will have. There is no one too low in status or too sinful for Jesus to want them to come closer. I pray this podcast helps increase your desire for Him and gives insight to how you can come closer.
Jesus told the disciples to come away and rest. And soon thereafter there was work to do. How can we discern whether to rest or work?

Our reading for today is Matthew 22-24….there’s so much to read about in these chapters, including end time prophecy! I will leave that topic for the theologians for now. :) Today I will focus in on what Jesus said is the greatest commandment; To love God and love others.
Jesus called the least likely unto Himself. Many who thought they themselves were “great” were not so great when it came to the things of God. And many who thought they were “less than” were among the greatest in the eyes of Jesus.

It does not make God happy when we listen to the bad reports instead of trusting Him. As a matter of a fact, we will see in scripture that it actually makes Him angry. The bottom line of today’s podcast is God wants relationship with us and that’s how we learn to TRUST HIM, even when things look bleak.

All throughout the Bible we see consequences of sin. We also see blessings that were passed down from fathers to sons. What about today? Can we have access to blessings? The answer is yes! Today’s podcast talks about the story and struggle between Jacob and Esau all for the blessing. I wrap up the podcast talking about how we can live in the blessing directly from God all because of Jesus.
God tested Abraham’s heart to see if God really was first priority. We can learn a lot about ourselves based on what we would give up for Him. Trusting God is key.
