Unfortunately, gun violence and mass shootings have become a part of the fabric of our culture. Our students deal with it on a regular basis as more and more schools take steps to protect themselves from mass shootings. We need to talk about it and we need to talk about how to talk about it.
If there is anything we all have in common it's that we all need more help! And help often comes in the forms of volunteers. On this episode, we talk about how to find, keep, and celebrate volunteers. If you are a volunteer, just know you are a champion and we could not do what we do with you!
On this episode, the guys ask if we should keep doing student ministry or are we creating silos which can get in the way of helping students, families, and churches grow.

MTD was first introduced in 2006 and made popular by Kenda Creasy-Dean's book, Almost Christian in 2010. On the surface, MTD sounds pretty good! But, as we will see, the core tenents of this almost Christian belief system are decidedly... not Christian. If we are not careful, we can find ourselves allowing some of this into our own ministries.
