The COVID19 pandemic is bringing an unprecedented amount of change to the education system all over the world and India is no exception. Some of these changes are going to have a long-lasting and profound effect on the future of our educational system. Indeed, some of these changes are welcome, but if not implemented with proper checks and balances it may result in many unintended consequences. I anticipate that not only the medium and the environment of teaching will change but also the outcome of the education and how students go about higher education would also change for good.
