New Testament Church, led by Pastor William “Bubba” Rolin, is located in Rabun, Alabama. We are passionate about the Word of God and praise and worship. We pray that these messages will be an encouragement and a blessing to you!
Jesus delivered a young man from a demonic spirit that kept him deaf and mute and tried to destroy him. Jesus can deliver us from whatever we face if we place our faith in Him.
When Jesus passed by, He healed the man who was blind from birth. When Jesus passes by us today, all we have to to is reach out to Him by faith and He can heal, deliver and set us free from whatever we face.
The concept of sowing and reaping is all throughout scripture. If we sow to the flesh, we will reap corruption. But if we sow to the spirit, we will reap eternal life.
Jesus is the resurrection and the life. One day our loved ones who have gone on will rise from the dead and we will spend eternity with them in heaven.
There is no other Jesus and there is no other Gospel than Jesus Christ and the Cross of Calvary. Paul preached Christ crucified. We must be aware of false teachers and avoid false doctrine in these last days. NTC is going to continue to preach Christ and the Cross.
Jonah repented after being in the belly of a great fish. The city of Nineveh repented after Jonah's preaching. Repentance brings us into right relationship with God. If you are running from God, turn around and repent and let God offer His forgiveness.
Jesus commanded His disciples to heal the sick. This was not an optional part of their ministry. It was a requirement. The same is true for us today. We are commanded to go out and heal the sick in Jesus' name.
Jesus is the Great I Am. He has promised to be with us and to provide everything we have need of. What do you need from Him? Ask the Great I Am and trust in His promises.
Jesus has all power and authority over demonic forces and He has extended that authority to His church. One of the signs of a believer is that they will cast out devils in the name of Jesus. Confronting the demonic is one of the ultimate Power Encounters. Would we be prepared if we were faced with the demonic?
In Part Five of Power Encounters, we examine the statement by Jesus about John the Baptist that he was a "burning and shining light" (John 5:35). Is your life a burning and shining light for Christ? Tune in to find out how to get lit on fire for God and how to burn and shine for His glory.
Jesus was not accepted by those in his own family and hometown. They saw Him just as the carpenter's son. As a result, Jesus could not perform many miracles in that area. Their unbelief caused Jesus to go elsewhere to help those who would reach out to Him. We know today that Jesus is more than just a carpenter's son. He is the Son of God and He will help those who reach out to Him.
In Part Four of Power Encounters, we unpack John 14:12 where Jesus promises His disciples that they would perform Greater Works because He was going to the Father. When Jesus ascended back to the Father, He sent the Holy Ghost back to his followers. We now have access to the power of the Holy Ghost through faith in the name of Jesus and by praying in the name of Jesus. God wants to work through you in signs, wonders, and miracles. Are you ready to go all in for Jesus?
We all have choices to make. Sometimes we make good choices. Other times we make bad choices. The story of Lot in the book of Genesis is an example of someone who made both good and bad choices. In the end, Lot's bad choices resulted in severe consequences for him and his family. Tune into this powerful message to learn how to make good choices in your life.
In Part Three of the sermon series, Power Encounters, we explore the concept of open doors. Paul asked the church in Colossae to pray that God would open up a door of opportunity for him to preach the Gospel. God opens up doors of opportunities for us every day to share the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. What doors is God trying to open in your life? Are are ready to walk through those doors and fulfill God's call on your life? Are you prepared to face opposition from the enemy who is going to try to stop you from crossing the threshold of God's purpose?
In Part Two of Power Encounters, we explore Being Filled with the Holy Ghost. Being filled with (or the baptism in) the Holy Ghost is a gift subsequent to salvation that is available to every believer. It is empowerment for service. Before we seek to engage in Power Encounters, such as casting out devils, speaking with new tongues, or laying hands on the sick and seeing them recover, we should seek to be filled with the Holy Ghost. Tune into this message to find out (1) what is it?, (2) why do I need it?, (3) how do I get it?, (4) how do I operate in it?, and (5) how does it relate to Power Encounters?
The Prophet Isaiah told Hezekiah, "Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live." God gave Hezekiah a warning that he was going to die and that he needed to set things in order. We all have an appointment with death, but we do not know when that appointment will be. We must get our hearts right with God and keep it that way so that we are ready when it is our time. Hezekiah prayed and God extended his life by 15 years. By setting your house in order and making things right with God, you can experience eternal life in Heaven.
The Little Maid knew somebody, who knew somebody, who was able to help cure Naaman's leprosy. Leprosy is a type of sin and the Jordan River is a type of the Cross. God is still curing sin today through the blood of His Son Jesus Christ.
Power Encounters are conflicts between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan. Examples of Power Encounters are found all throughout Scripture. From the Garden of Eden to the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness to Jesus casting a demon out of a young boy. These were all Power Encounters. And we are still engaged in Power Encounters today. There is constant conflict going on in the spiritual realm that manifests in the physical realm. In this series, we are going to explore what the Bible say about what types of Power Encounters we as Christians should be involved in and when and how we should engage in them.
Unbelief is a sin. Unbelief is not trusting God completely for who He is and for what He is capable of doing. If there is any unbelief in our hearts, we need to get it out, believe in God, and keep believing no matter what we face.
As Christians, our bodies are the temple of the Holy Ghost. When we got saved, the enemy moved out and the Holy Ghost moved in. In order to keep the enemy from trying to move back in, we must keep our lives sanctified, pure and holy, before God.
Agape love is the highest form of love. It is the type of love that God has for us and the type of love that we should have for God and others. In this message, we examine the necessity, character, and greatness of agape love.
The declaration of war has been issued. The battle lines have been drawn. There is no neutral ground. You must decide who's side you are on. It is going to take spiritual warfare to stand in these last days. The enemy is trying to destroy families, churches, and marriages. We must stand against the enemy's attacks. This means war.
(Matthew 7:21-23) - God has a will for everyone. He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Are you living in the perfect will of God for your life? God spoke in times past to his prophets in various ways. But God still speaks today. The main way that God speaks today is through His Son Jesus Christ, both the Written Word and the Living Word of God.
Babies do not stay babies forever. They grow. In the same way, we as Christians should be in a process of continual spiritual growth. And as we grow, we change for the better. After pronouncing judgment against the bordering nations, Amos declared God's judgment on Judah and then focused the rest of his prophecy on Israel.
Love God and love people. Jesus said that on these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. God loved us so much He gave us His Son Jesus to die for our sins. As a result, God expects us to love Him with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. He also expects us to show love to others, even our enemies.
Joshua had bold faith and prayed a bold prayer and asked God to stop the sun and moon until Israel had accomplished complete victory over the Amorites. God answered Joshua's prayer. God needs some believers who will stand up in bold faith and pray some bold prayers in these last days!

Joel prophesied to Judah concerning the judgment of God which had already begun as well as the judgment yet to come at the "Day of the Lord."
In 1 Peter 4:12-14, the Bible tells us that believers are going to face fiery trials. However, we are not to let these fiery trials get us down. We are to rejoice in knowing that we are found worthy to partake in Christ's sufferings.
The passenger side mirror on your car has a warning that states, "OBJECTS IN MIRROR ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR." This particular mirror is convex in shape which creates a greater field of vision, but makes objects appear smaller. However, when we look into the perfect law of liberty, the Word of God, it does not provide a distorted view. It is the discerner of the thoughts and intents of our heart.
God allowed Lazarus to die so that the Glory of God might be revealed through his resurrection from the dead. We have so many reasons to glorify God in our lives. As God works through circumstances in our lives, we experience the Glory of God.
In Hosea chapter one, Hosea's message was delivered primarily by example. In chapter four, the prophet began to simply speak God's message.
Romans 4:19-21 tells us that Abraham was fully persuaded that what God promised, He was also able to perform. In other words, Abraham completely trusted in God to fulfill His promises. We should be like Abraham. God's Word is full of great and precious promises. We can be fully persuaded that God will fulfill every single one of His promises.
Jesus said, you don't put new wine into old wineskins. You put new wine into new wineskins. In the same way, God cannot pour the New Wine of the Holy Spirit into the old wineskins of our heart that are full of sin. We need God to fashion us into a new wineskin. We need Him to make us into a vessel that is fit for His use. A vessel of honor and not of dishonor.
Peter stepped out of the boat and walked on water. But he soon began to look at the wind and waves and started to doubt. As he was sinking, he cried out to Jesus to save him. Jesus pulled him up and the walked back to the boat. If we cry out to God for what we need, He will answer.
As a result of twenty-one days of prayer and fasting, conflict erupted in the spiritual realm, Daniel's prayers were answered, and he received a revelation.
Blind Bartimaeus "cried out" to Jesus as he was passing by. The crowd wanted him to be silent, but he cried out anyway. As a result, Jesus restored his sight and changed his life. We need to "cry out" to God and make our needs and petitions known to Him. He already knows what we need, but He wants to hear from you and He wants you to ask, seek, and knock.
In Job 5:7, Eliphaz tells Job that "all men are born into trouble, as the sparks fly upward." If you've ever built a fire you have probably watched the sparks from the fire rising upward. As certain as the sparks fly upward, we are going to have trouble in this life. However, we as Christians do not face these troubles alone. We have a loving God who helps us through the troubles of life.
1 John 4 tells us that there are many false prophets gone out into the world and the spirit of antichrist is already in the world? Yet we can overcome all of these things because "greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world."
Daniel, exalted to a high position in the Medo-Persian Empire, suffers wrongfully due to the murderous schemes of his envious political peers.

The Shunnamite woman made a special room for Elisha where he could stay when he passed through. Elisha made this room a prayer room. It is in this room where he raised the Shunnamite woman's son back to life. That is because the power of God was present in that room because Elisha made it a place of prayer. In James 5:16, the Bible tells us that prayer is powerful and effective when it is offered fervently and with a pure heart. Listen in to find out how you can make sure your prayers are powerful and effective.
Jesus performed many mighty miracles during His earthly ministry. Jesus also gave his disciples power to heal the sick, cast out devils, raise the dead, and other miracles. That power is made available to us through Pentecost and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Ezekiel was instructed by the Lord to be a watchman, spiritually speaking, for the Israelites who were in captivity with him in Babylon.
Paul warned those in Corinth that "think they stand" to "take heed lest they fall." The same warning applies to us today. If we are not careful, we can "think we stand" when in reality we are standing on sinking sand and not the firm foundation of the rock of Jesus Christ. Take heed, take inventory of your life, and don't think you stand, but know with certainly that you are standing on Jesus.
The church must carry on for the gospel of Jesus Christ. When obstacles get in our way, we must keep trusting in him and walking by faith.
When King Darius was forced to throw Daniel into the lion's den, he said of Daniel's God, "He will deliver thee." No matter what we face or what comes our way, God is able to deliver us out of it all. God can still shut the mouths of lions. God can still deliver us from the hand of the enemy.
Ezekiel vision which showed the Lord's coming judgment on the city of Jerusalem also demonstrated His merciful plan to deliver the righteous.
We can find ourselves in negative cycles such as habitual sin, generational patterns, and spiritual unhealthiness. However, we can break these cycles through the name of Jesus the power of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus is our source of joy! The woman at the well was completely changed after her meeting with Jesus. She had so much joy that she had to tell everyone what Jesus has done for her. Let Jesus be your source of joy.
In the final message of our Bible, we see the greatness of the Son of God. His coming and the preeminence of His Word are also in view.
God's Word describes His economic plan. We must be willing to give in order to receive. We must also be thankful for what God has blessed us with.
David did not trust in Saul's armor or his own strength. David trusted God for victory. You may be facing spiritual giants in your life. Keep your trust in God and you will experience victory!
Eternity is real and people will live somewhere during it. We all would live better if we had a greater understanding of our eternal home.
In John 14, Jesus said some very encouraging words. Jesus said that we should not fear. Jesus said that He is preparing a place for us. Jesus said that He will come again to take us to that place called heaven. Jesus said that He is the way, the truth, and the life. Jesus said that, though He was going away, He would not leave us comfortless, but that He would send the Holy Spirit to live in us and lead us, guide us, and direct us. Let's Jesus' words be a comfort to you.
Jesus is the light of the world. When He proclaimed this to the religious leaders of His day, He was proclaiming to be the Messiah. Jesus is still the light of the world today. Christ is coming again to set up His kingdom. The world's last dictator will be destroyed and Satan will be bound. The world's victory is temporary.
In Exodus 15, God led Israel to a place called Elim, where there were 12 springs of water and 70 palm trees. It was an oasis in the desert. It was a place of refreshing for His people. Their trip to Elim came just after a time of testing at Marah where the water was bitter. God appoints us both times of testing and times of refreshing. Don't miss the learning and growing moments in the times of testing. Also, don't miss the rest and replenishing moments in the times of refreshing.
Jesus rebuked Peter for suggesting that Jesus would not have to go to the Cross. The Cross was God's plan of redemption. Jesus told Peter that any thought that was opposed to the will of God and to stop the plan of God was satanic in origin. We, as Christians, have the power and authority through the name of Jesus Christ to tell every thought, every imagination, everything demonic force that would try to stop the plan and purpose of God in our lives to "Get Thee Behind Me Satan!"
The Holy Spirit moved in this service and we took the opportunity to pray for many who were in need. Pastor Bubba also reminded us of the importance and necessity of calling for the elders of the church to pray from James 5.
The Antichrist is one of the main characters of end time prophetic events. In this study we see the terrible ruler of a world that rejects the true Christ.
God's Word is our instruction manual. It contains everything we need to know how to obey and live for God. Join Pastor Bubba as he leads us on a study of the importance of the Holy Bible.
Hell is a real place. Hell is a place of conscious torment. Hell is a place of eternal punishment. There is no escape from hell. There is no salvation in hell. Hell is a place that was prepared for the devil and his angels. God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. God has made a way that you do not have to go to the awful place called hell. God has a place reserved for you in heaven. All you have to do is accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, stop going down the road to destruction and turn your life around today.
The rich young ruler thought he could "inherit" eternal life by keeping the commandments. But Jesus showed he lacked the ability to keep all the commandments perfectly because of his greed. Only Jesus kept the commandments perfectly and our only hope of salvation is in the name of Jesus.
Jesus Christ cannot bear with a lukewarm Christian. Here, He examines a Church that has been overcome by this spiritual sickness.

Loyalty is one of the most important values in a Christian's personal life. This Church is an example of faithfulness and of the rewards that are promised them.
The Scribes and Pharisees looked for every opportunity to find fault in Jesus Christ. But Jesus had no faults and they failed every time. Like the Scribes and the Pharisees, many people spend their time trying to find fault in others. But Jesus wants His church to operate in unity and love. In Ephesians 3, Paul prays for the church at Ephesus that they would have strength in the inner man. Paul prays specifically for strength from three sources, (1) Christ's indwelling presence, (2) the love of Christ, and (3) being filled with all the fulness of God.
God has done so much for us. He has healed and blessed so many in our church family in just the last several days. This Same Jesus that worked in biblical times for Peter and the apostles is the same Jesus that will work for us today. Put your faith and trust in Him for whatever you need.
Reputations can be built and destroyed in a moment. True character remains after hostile people have discredited a person's name.
The two disciples on the Road to Emmaus had a unique encounter with Jesus Christ after His resurrection. There are at least three spiritual applications we can draw from this encounter. Each of these can be directed as a prayer to God: (1) Fill My Heart With Hope, (2) Open the Eyes of My Heart, and (3) Set My Heart on Fire.
Eli and his two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, were corrupt and disobeyed God's laws, disrespected God's sanctuary, and dishonored God's name. As a result, God judged them and all three died in one day. The Ark of the Covenant was also taken by the Philistines in battle. Phinehas' wife died while giving birth to a son that she named Ichabod, which means "The Glory is departed." However, we do no have to live without God's glory and presence in our life. The Glory of the Lord is present in our lives to save, heal, and deliver.
Jesus was travelling through the city of Nain one day and came upon a funeral procession. He stopped the procession and raised the young man from the dead. Jesus demonstrated over and over again the mighty power of God. God is still all powerful today and is able to meet any need you have.
Good churches can be led astray by one prominent member. Thyatira had excellent qualities that were being ruined by their allowing Jezebel to teach.
In 2 Timothy, Paul encourages Timothy to endure hardships as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. As Christians, we are going to face hardships and persecution. However, the Word of God also states that we can be more than conquerors of these things through Jesus Christ. Listen into tonight's message to find out what it means to be a good soldier for Jesus Christ.
Colossians 3:23-24. How we live our lives either brings honor to the name of Jesus Christ, or a reproach. Whatever we do, we should do it for the glory of God. Be faithful to God in the current assignment He has given you. Live a life that honors Christ and you will lay up for yourself treasure in heaven.
Joshua and Caleb were the only two of the 12 spies who brought back a good report from the Promised Land. Because of their faith, God blessed them throughout their lives. God will honor and bless us when we have genuine faith in Him.
The Church of Pergamos is admirable and shameful. They had qualities that all should strive for yet sinful behavior as well.
Life is full of ups and downs. When trials come, we cannot face them in our own strength. In fact, God does not expect us to face them on our own. He wants us to depend on Him for our strength. The Word of God promises us that we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength! The enemy says, "no you can't." But God says, "Yes you can!"
The woman with the issue of blood pressed through the crowd and touched the hem of Jesus' garment. If you need something from God, press through a touch Jesus through prayer. When you are in need, touching Jesus is all that matters!
During his earthly ministry, Jesus healed many of various sicknesses and diseases. Jesus is still healing and changing lives today. You may not can fix it. I may not can fix it. But I know a man who can.
Spiritual riches are our churches most valuable assets. Smyrna faced many adversities yet they stayed faithful to the Lord and He said they were rich.
In Daniel 9:24-27, the angel Gabriel gives a prophecy to Daniel that we refer to as the Seventy Weeks Prophecy. In this prophecy, 69 of the 70 weeks have already been fulfilled. There is only one week remaining, which prophetically refers to the seven years of the Tribulation. This lets us know the rapture is close at hand and we need to get ready and stay ready.
Jesus is the bread of life. Many people were drawn to Jesus during His earthly ministry because of the miracles He performed. However, very few were actually saved as a result. Jesus is still performing miracles and signs today, but we must be more hungry for the spiritual food and sustenance that Jesus Christ can provide.
Jesus Christ in His exalted position is shown to us today through these Scriptures. His authority and presence in the church should be precious to us.
God called Jonah to carry a message of repentance to Nineveh. But Jonah wanted someone else to do it. God had to go to extreme measures to show Jonah that he could not run from his calling. The gifts and the calling of God are without repentance. God has a unique calling for your life and He has a unique message that only you can deliver to the people God puts in your path. Don't run from His calling. Surrender to God's will for your live and let Him work through you to further His kingdom.
At times in the Old Testament, God turned Israel over to their enemies because of their sin and idolatry. If we are not careful, we too can open up our lives to the attack of our spiritual enemy, Satan, when we let sin rule our lives.
Revelation is an important book in the Bible. The purpose of this lesson is to learn the main message and apply it to our life.
When we truly repent, God is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins. However, even though God casts our sins as far as the east is from the west, He does not always erase the consequences of our sins. King David committed adultery with Bathsheba, had her husband killed, and tried to cover it all up. But David's sin eventually came to the surface. We cannot hide our sins from God. David had to suffer consequences for his sin. God declared that the child that resulted from his adulterous affair with Bathsheba would die. We too must realize that there are often severe and long lasting consequences to our sins. Listen in and learn the importance of avoiding a sinful lifestyle.
God called Nehemiah to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. The builders faced opposition and the threat of violence from their enemies if they continued to project. Nehemiah positioned people on the wall who held a tool in one hand to build the wall and a sword in the other hand to protect against the enemy. God is looking for some warrior-builders who will hold a trowel in one hand and the sword of the Spirit in the other hand and build the Kingdom of God.
What a blessing it is to be touched by Jesus. But sometimes it is up to us to reach out and touch the Lord as He passes by.
Realize the great love of Jesus toward sinful man and the love which we should then have toward the Lord. Our response should be from the heart.
Naaman's only hope was a young Hebrew girl who had been taken captive by the Assyrians. She knew that there was a God is Israel and that there was a prophet by the name of Elisha who knew how to get in touch with God. You might be the only hope that some people have to find Jesus.
Testimonies from various church members. God is good! Let the redeemed of the Lord say so!
This should be the prayer of every believer, "Come, Lord Jesus." The rapture of the church is imminent. Are you ready? Only those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior will go in the rapture. Do not be left behind. Make preparations now for eternity.
Not everyone who professes salvation possesses it. There are those who are part of the "visible" church on earth, but not of the "true" church.
The Lord is God of the hills and the valleys. There is nothing He cannot do. There is no limit to His power or His authority. Don't let the enemy convince you to underestimate the power of God. Stand upon the promises of God and stand against the schemes of the enemy through faith in Jesus Christ.
In this final part of What We Believe, we discuss (15) Marriage and (16) The Sanctity of Human Life.
In Matthew 18:19-20, Jesus teaches that if any two agree together in prayer, whatever they ask will be done. Join Pastor Bubba as he preaches a message from these scriptures titled "The Prayer of Agreement."
We believe that Jesus is coming back for the Church, His bride. Therefore, we must be prepared for His return. Ready or not, He is coming.
The Bible encourages us to complete the race that is set before us. There is a payday at the end of the road. However, we must be faithful and fight the good fight of faith in order to finish the race.
In Matthew 28:16, Jesus declares that He has all power. As a Christian, we have been given the authority to use the name of Jesus to access the power of Christ through the Holy Spirit. Tune into Pastor's message to find out how to access and operate in this power.
The Holy Spirit took over the service this morning! We had a great service filled with worship, prayer, and testimonies. We also took time to pray for all of our school children and school workers. We look at two parables which deal with the calling of laborers to work in God's vineyard or kingdom. We all must be laborers for God.
Psalm 63:1 encourages us to seek for more of God in the midst of whatever we are going through. We hope this message is a blessing and encouragement to you.

As Christians, we are in a spiritual battle. We are warriors in God's army. In Ephesians 6, Paul wrote about the nature of this spiritual battle and the armor of God that we need to be successful in this battle against our enemy. Our enemy is not natural. Our enemy is supernatural. They only way we are going to be successful is to put on the whole armor of God. The story of Rahab in the Old Testament is a reminder to us that God will save those who call on the name of the Lord. Rahab believed in the God of the Israelites and God rewarded her faithfulness with salvation. The same is true today. God will save those who call on His name!

Psalm 12 begins with the words, "Help, Lord." God is our refuge and strength; a very present help in time of trouble. We need to learn to lean on the Lord, especially during these difficult times. Make God your first choice, not your last resort.
In Daniel 5, we are told about the handwriting on the wall. God pronounced judgment on king Belshazzar with three words: mene (numbered), tekel (weighed), and peres (divided). The handwriting is also on the wall for the world today. The days are numbered; time is drawing to a close. The world has been weighed in the balances and has been found wanting. A dividing or separation day is coming. God's judgment will be poured out on this world and those who reject Jesus Christ. We can avoid the wrath of God to come only through the redemptive power of Jesus Christ.
In Acts 8 after the martyrdom of Stephen, Philip went to Samaria and preached the Gospel. The Bible says that many miracles and deliverances were performed because the people gave head to what Philip preached. As a result, there was "great joy in that city." There is great joy when the gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed. The church needs more laborers in the field. Are you willing to let God use you to reach others for His kingdom?
The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. We need more laborers in the church in the day and hour we are living in. Are you willing to let God use you to bring souls into His Kingdom?

David crossed the Kidron after being betrayed by his son Absalom. Jesus crossed the Kidron after being betrayed by his disciple Judas. Kidron means darkness or turbulence and represents a place of betrayal. You might be going through a Kidron experience. Just remember that God didn't bring you there to leave you there! Through His power and strength you can Cross the Kidron!
Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed? Paul asked 12 disciples in Ephesus this question. But the same questions applies to us today. The fullness of the Holy Ghost is available to every believer. On Pentecost Sunday, let the Holy Ghost fill your life!
In 2 Kings 2, the sons of the prophets were spectators and Elijah was a participator. In the church today, there are spectators and there are participators. Which one are you? If you are simply a spectator, make up in your mind to start being a participator and be what God would have you to do.
Jacob saw a vision of a ladder set up between heaven and earth. He had an encounter with the Lord in that place and said "Surely the Lord is in this Place." No matter where we are or what we are going through, we can say, "Surely the Lord is in this Place."
The demoniac needed help that could only come from Jesus. Jesus was his only hope and only salvation. Jesus set this man free from a legion of demons. He can set you free from whatever has you bound as well! Jesus is your hope!
In John 20:22, Jesus breathed on His disciples for them to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. The Breath of God is many things including life, deliverance, revival, redemption, and power. If you have need of anything, lift up your hearts to God and ask Him to breathe on you!
In Exodus 16, God gives Israel specific directions on how and when to gather manna. However, they stubbornly refused to simply follow God's directions. God has given us clear directions in His Word on how to live, how to please Him, how to be saved, and how to make it to Heaven. It is our responsibility to simply Follow Directions.
