Character is defined as what makes a person distinct from others. When we think of a person who has good character, we often describe them with terms like integrity, honesty, strong morals, care and concern for others. Character is demonstrated in actions but in fact character resides in the heart.
Christian character begins with faith in Christ. Without faith it is impossible to please God.
C. S. Lewis once said, “What you see and hear depends a good deal on where you are standing!” In this class, we will be exploring the ways that we position ourselves to hear from God. It is possible to ignore or disobey God and develop a hardened heart that no longer hears or responds to His leading. In this class, we will consider ways that we can draw closer to Him, standing in the light, and obeying His voice. In our culture, deception and lies are rampant. The ability to discern God’s voice and follow His leading is crucial for true followers of Christ.

After sin entered the world, things would have looked bleak for people, but GOD HAD A PLAN! He began revealing His plan throughout the Old Testament, but a fuller revelation was awaiting the birth, death, and resurrection of Christ. Most Christians understand that Jesus paid the price for their redemption, a gift that they must decide to accept. But many Christians don’t know the other rights that Jesus purchased with His death and resurrection, things with which He has not yet transacted business! This class will look at the redemption model and the ways Jesus was uniquely qualified to serve in capacity of Kinsman Redeemer in the four areas defined by scripture. We will look back at the part of the plan that has already been put into action, and forward to the areas still prophetically anticipated.
“En Garde!” is a fencing term that is a call to a fencer to adopt a defensive stance, taking up his sword, in readiness for an attack or bout.
It is staggering to realize all that God has done in order to provide for our ability to stand firm, ready for the attack from the enemy. God has proven Himself to be sovereign and wise, a God who is totally trustworthy! If we are going to learn to honor God in times of attack and adversity, we must trust Him. There is more at stake than just our own peace during trials or difficulties. The honor of God should be a primary concern!
Christians are expecting an antichrist who will fulfill prophecy. Sometimes Christians are expecting the antichrist to have characteristics that the Bible doesn’t clearly state. This lesson considesr the antichrist and looks at some correct perceptions as well as some questionable ones.
When we speak of “the antichrist” we are talking about a specific person, demonically empowered, who appears at the end of the age who tries to place himself “instead of” Christ. He will be a part of Satan’s false trinity, which we will examine later in this class. In this lesson,k we look at prophecies concerning this final, demonically empowered, antichrist.
Jewish friends who are asked why they don't believe Jesus is the Messiah often answer, "If he didn’t bring in the Messianic Kingdom, unite all Jews, bring them from dispersion, create world peace, rebuild the temple, and do all the other things prophesied of the Messianic age, than he can't be the Messiah."
Replacement theology, also called "supersessionism", is the teaching that the Christian church has replaced national Israel regarding the plan, purpose, and promises of God.
