The Game Club
The Game Club is a monthly and weekly podcast revolving around a group of friends enjoying and sharing their passion of video games. The Monthly podcast works like a 'book club', where one person selects a game at the start of the month, for the group to play. At the end of the month we get together to discuss our thoughts and experiences. We invite our listeners to play the monthly game along with us, listen in on our discussion, and discuss with us on social media. The Weekly podcast is a smaller group dedicated to discussing the recent events in the gaming industry, games that we've played recently, and hanging out to enjoy each others company. New episodes every Monday morning.

This episode we discuss June's monthly game - Spec Ops: The Line
Spec Ops: The Line is a 2012 third-person shooter video game developed by the German studio Yager Development and published by 2K Games.
It was released internationally in June 2012 for Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is the tenth title, as well as a reboot, of the Spec Ops series. In the game, players can hide behind cover, vault over obstacles, and shoot enemies while utilizing a variety of gadgets.
Included with the game is an online multiplayer mode, developed separately by Darkside Game Studios, allowing players to engage in both cooperative and competitive gameplay.
The player controls Captain Martin Walker, who is sent into a post-catastrophe Dubai with an elite Delta Force team on a recon mission. As the story progresses, Walker's sanity begins to deteriorate as he begins to experience hallucinations and slowly realize the horror of war.

This episode we discuss May's monthly game - Nox.
Nox is an action role-playing game developed by Westwood Pacific and published by Electronic Arts in 2000 for Microsoft Windows. It details the story of Jack, a young man from Earth who is pulled into a high fantasy parallel universe and has to defeat the evil sorceress Hecubah and her army of necromancers to return home.
Depending on the player's choice of character class at the beginning of the game (warrior, conjurer, or wizard), the game follows three largely different linear storylines, each leading to its unique ending. In the multiplayer, players can compete against each other in various game modes such as deathmatch and capture the flag, while the freely downloadable expansion pack NoxQuest added a cooperative multiplayer mode. The game was generally well received by critics and the media.
